A sufficient condition for affine frame with an arbitrary matrix dilation is pre-sented. It is based on the univariate case by Shi, and generalizes the univariate results of Shi, Casazza and Christensen from one dimension with an arbitrary real number a (a>1) dilation to higher dimension with an arbitrary expansive matrix dilation.  相似文献

We consider systems of functions appearing by letting a class of modulations act on a countable collection of functions. These systems correspond to shift-invariant systems, considered on the Fourier side. We provide sufficient conditions for the system to be a frame, as well as an explicit construction of a class of frames and associated duals. We use the result to construct frames based on B-splines with knot sequences satisfying a natural condition, as well as explicitly given duals.  相似文献

Given a multivariate compactly supported distribution, we derive here a necessary and sufficient condition for the global linear independence of its integer translates. This condition is based on the location of the zeros of =the Fourier-Laplace transform of. The utility of the condition is demonstrated by several examples and applications, showing, in particular, that previous results on box splines and exponential box splines can be derived from this condition by a simple combinatorial argument.Communicated by Carl de Boor.  相似文献

In the paper entitled “Multiresolution analysis on local fields” [H.K. Jiang, D.F. Li, N. Jin, Multiresolution analysis on local fields, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 294 (2) (2004) 523-532], we establish the orthonormal wavelet construction from multiresolution analysis on local fields. The objective of this paper is to construct wavelet frame on local fields. A necessary condition and four sufficient conditions for wavelet frame on local fields are given. We seek metrics conformal to the standard ones on Sn having prescribed Gaussian curvature in case n = 2 (the Nirenberg Problem), or prescribed scalar curvature for n ≧ 3 (the Kazdan-Warner problem). There are well-known Kazdan-Warner and Bourguignon-Ezin necessary conditions for a function R(x) to be the scalar curvature of some conformally related metric. Are those necessary conditions also sufficient? This problem has been open for many years. In a previous paper, we answered the question negatively by providing a family of counter examples. In this paper, we obtain much stronger results. We show that, in all dimensions, if R(x) is rotationally symmetric and monotone in the region where it is positive, then the problem has no solution at all. It follows that, on S2, for a non-degenerate, rotationally symmetric function R(θ), a necessary and sufficient condition for the problem to have a solution is that Rθ changes signs in the region where it is positive. This condition, however, is still not sufficient to guarantee the existence of a rotationally symmetric solution, as will be shown in this paper. Galeana-Sanchez and Neumann-Lara proved that a sufficient condition for a digraph to have a kernel (i.e., an absorbent independent set) is the following: (P) every odd directed cycle possesses at least two directed chords whose terminal endpoints are consecutive on the cycle. Here it is proved that (P) is satisfied by those digraphs having these two properties: (i) the reversal of every 3-circuit is present, and (ii) every odd directed cycle v1v2n+1 V1 has two chords of the form (vi, vi+2).
