We investigate the small deviation problem for weighted fractional Brownian motions in -norm, . Let be a fractional Brownian motion with Hurst index . If , then our main result asserts


provided the weight function satisfies a condition slightly stronger than the -integrability. Thus we extend earlier results for Brownian motion, i.e. , to the fractional case. Our basic tools are entropy estimates for fractional integration operators, a non-linear approximation technique for Gaussian processes as well as sharp entropy estimates for -sums of linear operators defined on a Hilbert space.

We introduce the existence, uniqueness and H\"older regularity of the solution. As a related question, we consider also a large deviation principle associated with the above equation with a small perturbation via an equivalence relationship between Laplace principle and large deviation principle.  相似文献

We show that several classical bilateral summation and transformation formulas have semi-finite forms. We obtain these semi-finite forms from unilateral summation and transformation formulas. Our method can be applied to derive Ramanujan's summation, Bailey's transformations, and Bailey's summation.

We present a general method for construction of frames for Triebel-Lizorkin and Besov spaces, whose nature can be prescribed. In particular, our method allows for constructing frames consisting of rational functions or more general functions which are linear combinations of a fixed (small) number of shifts and dilates of a single smooth and rapidly decaying function such as the Gaussian . We also study the boundedness and invertibility of the frame operator on Triebel-Lizorkin and Besov spaces and give necessary and sufficient conditions for the dual system to be a frame as well.

For the general one dimensional Schrödinger operator with real we present a complete streamlined treatment of large spectral parameter power asymptotics of Jost solutions and the scattering matrix. We find simple necessary and sufficient conditions relating the number of exact terms in the asymptotics with the smoothness of . These conditions are expressed in terms of the Fourier transform of some functions related to . In particular, under the usual conditions we derive up to two extra terms in the asymptotic expansion of the Jost solution and for the transmission coefficient we derive twice as many terms. Our main results are complete.

  1. If ${\alpha < \varepsilon _{0}}$ , then ${\sf{SWP}\left({\rm S}\text{\textsc{eq}}^{2}, \trianglelefteq _{2}, 1_{\alpha}\right)}$ is provable in T = PA.
  1. ${\sf{SWP}\left( {\rm S}\text{\textsc{eq}}^{2}, \trianglelefteq _{2},1_{\varepsilon _{0}}\right)}$ is not provable in T = PA.
We conjecture that this pattern is characteristic for all ${T\supseteq \sf{PA}}$ under consideration and their proof-theoretical ordinals o (T ), instead of ${\varepsilon _{0}}$ .  相似文献
