The numerical method of calculating the supersonic three-dimensional flow about blunt bodies with detached shock wave presented in [1–3] is applied to the case of unsteady flow. The formulation of the unsteady problem is analogous to that of [4], which assumes smallness of the unsteady disturbances. The paper presents some results of a study of the unsteady flow about blunt bodies over a wide range of variation of the Mach number M=1.50– and dimensionless oscillation frequency l/V=0–1.0. A comparison is made with the results obtained from the Newton theory.  相似文献

The paper presents solutions to the problems of plane Couette flow, axial flow in an annulus between two infinite cylinders, and flow between two rotating cylinders. Taking into account energy dissipation and the temperature dependence of viscosity, as given by Reynolds's relation =0 exp (–T) (0, =const). Two types of boundary conditions are considered: a) the two surfaces are held at constant (but in general not equal) temperatures; b) one surface is held at a constant temperature, the other surface is insulated.Nonisothermal steady flow in simple conduits with dissipation of energy and temperature-dependent viscosity has been studied by several authors [1–11]. In most of these papers [1–6] viscosity was assumed to be a hyperbolic function of temperature, viz. =m 1/1+2(T–Tm.Under this assumption the energy equation is linear in temperature and can he easily integrated. Couette flow with an exponential viscosity-temperature relation. =0 e T (0, =const), (0.1) was studied in [7, 8]. Couette flow with a general (T) relation was studied in (9).Forced flow in a plane conduit and in a circular tube with a general (T) relation was studied in [10]. In particular, it has been shown in [10] that in the case of sufficiently strong dependence of viscosity on temperature there can exist a critical value of the pressure gradient, such that a steady flow is possible only for pressure gradients below this critical value. In a previous work [11] the authors studied Polseuille flow in a circular tube with an exponential (T) relation. This thermohydrodynamic problem was reduced to the problem of a thermal explosion in a cylindrical domain, which led to the existence of a critical regime. The critical conditions for the hydrodynamic thermal explosion and the temperature and velocity profiles were calculated. In this paper we treat the problems of Couette flow, pressureless axial flow in an annulus, and flow between two rotating cylinders taking into account dissipation and the variation of viscosity with temperature according to Reynolds's law (0.1). The treatment of the Couette flow problem differs from that given in [8] in that the constants of integration are found by elementary methods, whereas in [8] this step involved considerable difficulties. The solution to the two other problems is then based on the Couette problem.  相似文献

The article gives the results of an experimental investigation of the geometric structure of an opposing unexpanded jet. It discusses flow conditions with interaction between the jet and sub- and supersonic flows. It is shown that, with the outflow of an unexpanded jet counter to a supersonic flow, there are unstable flow conditions. For stable flow conditions with one roll, dependences are proposed determining the form of a jet in a supersonic opposing flow. A generalized dependence is obtained for the distribution of the pressure at the surface of a body with a jet, flowing out counter to a subsonic flow. The range of change in the determining parameters are the following: Mach numbers at outlet cross section of nozzle, M a = 1 and 3; Mach numbers of opposing flow, M = 0.6–0.9 and 2.9; degree of effectiveness of jet, n = p a /p = 0.5–800 (p a and p are the static pressures at the outlet cross section of the nozzle and in the opposing flow); the ratios of the specific heat capacities, a = = 1.4; the drag temperatures of the jet and the flow, To = Toa = 290°K.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 89–96, January–February, 1977.  相似文献

A study has been made of the flow formed in a supersonic nozzle when gas is blown in a transverse jet into an expanding supersonic flow. Measurements were made of the total and static pressures of the flow at several sections of the nozzle. It was established that, depending on the relative flow rate = mj/(mj+ m0) of the blown gas (mjand m0 are the flow rates of the blown gas and the main flow, respectively), there exist two flow regimes with different dependences of the Mach number of the flow. At small , the experimental flow parameters correspond satisfactorily to the parameters calculated in a one-dimensional model with a narrow mixing layer near the blowing section. Agreement was observed at flow rates less than a certain *, this critical value being determined in the model as the flow rate at which the flow after mixing becomes sonic. In the experiments at large flow rates of the blown gas, * < < 1, the value of M for the flow hardly depends on and corresponds to the calculated value of M for a supersonic flow having the velocity of sound near the blowing section. A scheme is proposed for calculating the flow in a nozzle with transverse blowing in the supersonic part; it describes satisfactorily the experimental results in the complete range of blown-gas-main-flow flow rate ratios (0 1) over the complete length of the nozzle.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 188–192, May–June, 1984.  相似文献

The hodograph method is used to plot a hanging shock wave in the plane nonequilibrium supersonic flow of an ideal gas. This paper considers the general case of an analytical solution in the plane of the hodograph at the point of generation of the shock wave. A type of limiting line is established which makes it possible to plot a shock wave (it is found that the shock wave may not extend over the whole flow, with a convolution in the physical plane).Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 6, pp. 30–37, November–December, 1971.  相似文献

A three-dimensional shock layer near the blunt surface of a fairly smooth body is analyzed asymptotically. Equations of the first approximation are obtained and justified in various cases of the limit 1, 0, ( – 1)–1M -2 0. These equations are simplified for the flow near the stagnation point of a body with double curvature and near the blunt leading edge of a sweptback wing. The results of some calculations are given and compared with the results of [17, 18] in the case of axisymmetric flow.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 115–126, September–October, 1980.  相似文献

A study is made of the problem of hypersonic flow of an inviscid perfect gas over a convex body with continuously varying curvature. The solution is sought in the framework of the asymptotic theory of a strongly compressed gas [1–4] in the limit M when the specific heat ratio tends to 1. Under these assumptions, the disturbed flow is situated in a thin shock layer between the body and the shock wave. At the point where the pressure found by the Newton-Buseman formula vanishes there is separation of the flow and formation of a free layer next to the shock wave [1–4]. The singularity of the asymptotic expansions with respect to the parameter 1 = ( –1)/( + 1) associated with separation of the strongly compressed layer has been investigated previously by various methods [3–9]. Local solutions to the problem valid in the neighborhood of the singularity have been obtained for some simple bodies [3–7]. Other solutions [7, 9] eliminate the singularity but do not give the transition solution entirely. In the present paper, an asymptotic solution describing the transition from the attached to the free layer is constructed for a fairly large class of flows.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 99–105, January–February, 1982.  相似文献

A two-velocity and two-temperature model is considered for a continuous medium in relation to the flow of a mixture of gas and particles in the subsonic, transsonic, and supersonic parts of a Laval nozzle. It is assumed that the particles are small, and hence that the coefficients f and q, which define the interaction with the gas, are large (these coefficients are inversely proportional to the square of the particle radius for a Stokes mode of flow). This means that the velocity or thermal lag of the particles relative to the gas is small. The solution is sought as expansions with respect to the small parameters 1=1/f and 2=1/q.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 4, pp. 89–100, July–August, 1973.  相似文献

The quasi-parallel regime of a Darcy–Boussinesq boundary-layer flow over a permeable vertical flat plate adjacent to a fluid saturated porous medium is considered. Quasi-parallel means here a plane flow with a constant transversal velocity v=–v 0 directed perpendicularly towards the vertical surface, where a lateral suction with the same velocity –v 0 is applied. The plate is held at a constant temperature T w which coincides with the ambient temperature T of the fluid. The heat released by viscous dissipation induces a density gradient in the fluid. Thus, although T w=T , a thermal convection occurs. The steady regime of this self-sustaining buoyant flow has been examined in detail. Wall jet-like profiles with a continuous but finite spectrum of the momentum flow have been found. These self-sustaining buoyant jets show a universal behavior, that is, there exist certain length, velocity and temperature scales such that the flow characteristics become independent of the (constant) material properties of the fluid and the porous medium as well.  相似文献

Stability and Transition on a Swept Cylinder in a Supersonic Flow   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Results of experimental investigations of the evolution of natural disturbances and laminar–turbulent transition in a supersonic boundary layer on the attachment line of a circular cylinder with a sweep angle of 68° and a freestream Mach number M = 2 are presented. The experimental studies are supplemented by calculations of the mean flow and stability characteristics. Flow regimes in the boundary layer on the attachment line are determined by a hotwire technique as functions of the Reynolds number and height of twodimensional roughness elements. The results are compared with NASA (Ames) experiments.  相似文献

The geometrical characteristics of jets injected through an opening in a flat plate into an oncoming supersonic flow have been studied on a number of occasions [1, 3]. However, the results were analyzed under different suppositions about the important dimensionless parameters. In [1], the degree of underexpansion of the jet, characterized by n = p a /p, was regarded as decisive; in [3], the experimental points were plotted against the relative dynamic head a u2 a /(u2 ) of the jet. In the present paper, dimensional considerations are used to determine the dimensionless parameters which influence the flow field when an injected jet interacts with an oncoming supersonic gas flow. The influence of these determining dimensionless parameters on the depth of penetration of injected jets into a flow was investigated experimentally. It is shown that the relative depth of penetration is determined basically by the relative specific impulse of the jet, the injection angle, and the shape of the blowing nozzle section.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 151–154, July–August, 1980.  相似文献

The results of investigations of inviscid flow over inverted cones with nose consisting of a spherical segment were published for the first time in Soviet literature in [1–4]. In the present paper, a numerical solution to this problem is obtained using the improved algorithms of [5, 6], which have proved themselves well in problems of exterior flow over surfaces with positive angles of inclination to the oncoming flow. It is shown that the Mach number 2 M , equilibrium and nonequilibrium physicochemical transformations in air (H = 60 km, V = 7.4 km/sec, R0 = 1 m), and the angle of attack 0 40° influence the investigated pressure distributions. A comparison of the results of the calculations with drainage experiments for M = 6, = 0-25° confirms the extended region of applicability of the developed numerical methods. Also proposed is a simple correlation of the dependence on the Mach number in the range 1.5 M of the shape of the shock wave near a sphere in a stream of ideal gas with adiabatic exponent = 1.4.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 178–183, January–February, 1981.  相似文献

The first goal of this paper is to study the large time behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem for the 3-dimensional incompressible Navier–Stokes system. The Marcinkiewicz space L3, is used to prove some asymptotic stability results for solutions with infinite energy. Next, this approach is applied to the analysis of two classical regularized Navier–Stokes systems. The first one was introduced by J. Leray and consists in mollifying the nonlinearity. The second one was proposed by J.-L. Lions, who added the artificial hyper-viscosity (–)/ 2, > 2 to the model. It is shown in the present paper that, in the whole space, solutions to those modified models converge as t toward solutions of the original Navier–Stokes system.  相似文献

An unsteady viscous shock layer near a stagnation point is studied. The Navier-Stokes equations are analyzed in the limit 1, Re0 , df/dt = n-mF(t/m). The Reynolds number Re0 is defined in the paper by Eq. (1.3) (df/dt is the velocity of the body with respect to an inertial frame of reference moving with the original steady velocity –V't8, 2 = ( – 1)/( + 1)). Various flow regimes in the case 1, l, n max(2m, m + 1), m 0, where 2 = 1/Re0 are analyzed. Equations are derived that generalize the asymptotic analysis to the case of a viscous unsteady flow of gas in a thin three-dimensional shock layer. The problem of a thin unsteady viscous shock layer near the stagnation point of a body with two curvatures is formulated. Examples of numerical solution are given for different ratios of the principal curvatures of the body, the wall temperature, the parameters of the original steady flow, and the acceleration and deceleration regimes.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 100–111, March–April, 1981.I thank Yu. The case of an infinitely slender wing that slightly disturbs a supersonic ideal gas flow is considered. The plan form and the free-stream Mach number M are given. The optimum surface of the wing y=g(x, z) is determined as a result of finding a bounded function of the local angles of attack M=g(x, z)/x that minimizes the drag coefficient cx for given values of the lift coefficient cy and the pitching moment coefficient mz. The problem is solved in the class of piecewise-constant functions for wings of complex geometry [1].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 185–189, July–August, 1987.  相似文献

A three-parameter model describing the shear rate-shear stress relation of viscoelastic liquids and in which each parameter has a physical significance, is applied to a tangential annular flow in order to calculate the velocity profile and the shear rate distribution. Experiments were carried out with a 5000 wppm aqueous solution of polyacrylamide and different types of rheometers. In a shear-rate range of seven decades (5 10–3 s–1 < < 1.2 105 s–1) a good agreement is obtained between apparent viscosities calculated with our model and those measured with three different types of rheometers, i.e. Couette rheometers, a cone-and-plate rheogoniometer and a capillary tube rheometer. a physical quantity defined by:a = {1 – ( / 0)}/ 0 (Pa–1) - C constant of integration (1) - r distancer from the center (m) - r 1,r 2 radius of the inner and outer cylinder (m) - v r local tangential velocity at a distancer from the center (v r = r r) (m s–1) - v 2 local tangential velocity at a distancer 2 from the center (m s–1) - shear rate (s–1) - local shear rate (s–1) - 1 wall shear rate at the inner cylinder (s–1) - dynamic viscosity (Pa s) - a apparent viscosity (a = / ) (Pa s) - a1 apparent viscosity at the inner cylinder (Pa s) - 0 zero-shear viscosity (Pa s) - infinite-shear viscosity (Pa s) - shear stress (Pa) - r local shear stress at a distancer from the center (Pa) - 0 yield stress (Pa) - 1, 2 wall shear-stress at the inner and outer cylinder (Pa) - r local angular velocity (s–1) - 2 angular velocity of the outer cylinder (s–1)  相似文献

The question of determining the law of damping for the turbulent diffusion coefficient at a smooth wall according to data on mass and heat transfer for Pr 1 is discussed. It is proved that the hypothesis that this law is determined by the first member of the Taylor series expansion of , namely, / = yn + is valid in the Pr range from 103 to 105 only under the assumption that the subsequent terms in the expansion have smaller coefficients. A statistical analysis of electrochemical and other experiments devoted to this problem shows that apparently n = 3, but singularities in the experimental results do not permit making a final conclusion. Requirements on a conclusive experiment are formulated on the basis of the analysis made.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 2, pp. 172–175, March–April, 1977.  相似文献
