Invariant Integrals for the Equilibrium Problem for a Plate with a Crack   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
We consider the equilibrium problem for a plate with a crack. The equilibrium of a plate is described by the biharmonic equation. Stress free boundary conditions are given on the crack faces. We introduce a perturbation of the domain in order to obtain an invariant Cherepanov–Rice-type integral which gives the energy release rate upon the quasistatic growth of a crack. We obtain a formula for the derivative of the energy functional with respect to the perturbation parameter which is useful in forecasting the development of a crack (for example, in study of local stability of a crack). The derivative of the energy functional is representable as an invariant integral along a sufficiently smooth closed contour. We construct some invariant integrals for the particular perturbations of a domain: translation of the whole cut and local translation along the cut.  相似文献

We consider a three-dimensional boundary value problem for the Laplace equation on a thin plane screen with boundary conditions for the “directional derivative”: boundary conditions for the derivative of the unknown function in the directions of vector fields defined on the screen surface are posed on each side of the screen. We study the case in which the direction of these vector fields is close to the direction of the normal to the screen surface. This problem can be reduced to a system of two boundary integral equations with singular and hypersingular integrals treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value. The resulting integral equations are characterized by the presence of integral-free terms that contain the surface gradient of one of the unknown functions. We prove the unique solvability of this system of integral equations and the existence of a solution of the considered boundary value problem and its uniqueness under certain assumptions.  相似文献

We consider the problem on the existence of a common stabilizing controller for a finite family of linear vector dynamical systems. A sufficient condition, obtained on the basis of topological methods, is presented for the existence of a common stabilizer. A combined grid method for solving the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation in a rectangular parallelepiped is proposed. At the grid points that are at the distance equal to the grid size from the boundary, the 6-point averaging operator is used. At the other grid points, the 26-point averaging operator is used. It is assumed that the boundary values have the third derivatives satisfying the Lipschitz condition on the faces; on the edges, they are continuous and their second derivatives satisfy the compatibility condition implied by the Laplace equation. For a differential equation with a hysteresis nonlinearity of general type, which can be time-varying, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the Cauchy problem similar to the well-known Cauchy-Picard, Peano, Perron, and Rosenblatt theorems for ordinary differential equations. We consider examples in which a test for the solution uniqueness similar to the Perron-Rosenblatt theorem is applied to specific differential equations with hysteresis nonlinearities of the form of the Prandtl model of a viscoelastic fiber and a time-varying nonlinearity.  相似文献

We study a Cauchy type problem for a differential equation containing a fractional Riemann-Liouville partial derivative of order α, 0 < α < 2. Conditions under which the solution of the problem tends to zero as |x| → ∞ are obtained. We prove an existence theorem for a classical solution of the Cauchy type problem and show that the solution has a singularity as t → 0 of order 1 ? α if 0 < α ≤ 1 and of order 2 ? α if 1 < α < 2.  相似文献

We wish to consider the following type of cake division problem: There are individuals. Each individual has available a measure that he or she uses to evaluate the sizes of pieces of cake. We wish to partition our cake into pieces in such a way that the various evaluations that the individuals make of the sizes of the pieces satisfy certain pre-assigned equalities and inequalities. Our main result yields a quite general criterion for showing that certain such partitions exist. Following the proof, we consider various applications.
