以环形耦合Duffing振子系统为研究对象,分析了耦合振子间的同步演化过程.发现在弱耦合条件下,如果所有振子受到同一周期策动力的驱动,那么系统在经历倍周期分岔、混沌态、大尺度周期态的相变时,各振子的运动轨迹之间将出现由同步到不同步再到同步的两次突变现象.利用其中任何一次同步突变现象可以实现系统相变的快速判别,并由此补充了利用倍周期分岔与混沌态的这一相变对微弱周期信号进行检测的方法. 关键词: Duffing振子 同步突变 相变 微弱信号检测  相似文献

We show the existence of phase synchronization in bi-directionally coupled deterministic chaotic ratchets. The coupled ratchets were simulated in their chaotic states. A transition from a regime where the phases rotate with different velocities to a synchronous state where the phase difference is bounded was observed as the coupling was increased. In addition, the region of synchronization in which the system is permanently phase locked was identified. In this regime, the transverse Lyapunov exponent corresponding to both phases remain positive. Our calculations show that the transition to a synchronized state occurs via a crisis transition to an attractor filling the whole phase space.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the coupled behvior of the acoustic field in the confinement and the unsteady flame dynamics in a laboratory scale spray combustor. We study this interaction during the intermittency route to thermoacoustic instability when the location of the flame is varied inside the combustor. As the flame location is changed, the synchronization properties of the coupled acoustic pressure and heat release rate signals change from desynchronized aperiodicity (combustion noise) to phase synchronized periodicity (thermoacoustic instability) through intermittent phase synchronization (intermittency). We also characterize the collective interaction between the multiple flamelets anchored at the flame holder and the acoustic field in the system, during different dynamical states observed in the combustor operation. When the signals are desynchronized, we notice that the flamelets exhibit a steady combustion without the exhibition of a prominent feedback with the acoustic field. In a state of intermittent phase synchronization, we observe the existence of a short-term coupling between the heat release rate and the acoustic field. We notice that the onset of collective synchronization in the oscillations of multiple flamelets and the acoustic field leads to the simultaneous emergence of periodicity in the global dynamics of the system. This collective periodicity in both the subsystems causes enhancement of oscillations during epochs of amplitude growth in the intermittency signal. On the contrary, the weakening of the coupling induces suppression of periodic oscillations during epochs of amplitude decay in the intermittency signal. During phase synchronization, we notice a sustained synchronized movement of all flamelets with the periodicity of the acoustic cycle in the system.  相似文献

The behaviors of coupled oscillators, each of which has periodic motion with random natural frequency in the absence of coupling, are investigated when phase shifts are considered. In the system of coupled oscillators, phase shifts are the same between different oscillators. Synchronization and synchronization transition are revealed with different phase shifts. Phase shifts play an important role for this kind of system. When the phase shift α<0.5π, the synchronization state can be attained by increasing the coupling, and the system cannot reach the synchronization state while α≥q0.5π. A clear scaling between complete synchronization critical coupling strength K_pc and α-0.5π is found.  相似文献

We experimentally investigate the transition to synchronization in a population of photochemical oscillators with weak global coupling. Above a critical coupling strength the oscillators join a one-phase group or two-phase clusters. The number of oscillators in each cluster depends on the initial phase distribution, and irregular switching of oscillators between clusters is observed. The fully synchronized state emerges above a second critical coupling strength. In agreement with earlier theory, the experiments demonstrate the importance of population heterogeneity in cluster multistability.  相似文献

The specific features of a phase transition from a disordered orbital state to an ordered orbital state in an La0.875Sr0.125MnO3 single crystal are investigated using acoustic methods at a frequency f = 500 MHz. The phase transition is accompanied by a distortion of MnO6 octahedra due to the cooperative Jahn-Teller effect and is a first-order phase transition, as judged from the sharp change observed in the damping of acoustic pulses, the acoustic wave velocity, and the temperature hysteresis. It is revealed that the parameters of the acoustic waves change significantly throughout the temperature range of existence of the cooperatively distorted structure. In an external magnetic field, the structural phase transition is shifted toward lower temperatures.  相似文献

An increase of the coupling strength in the system of two coupled R?ssler oscillators leads from a nonsynchronized state through phase synchronization to the regime of lag synchronization. The role of unstable periodic orbits in these transitions is investigated. Changes in the structure of attracting sets are discussed. We demonstrate that the onset of phase synchronization is related to phase-lockings on the surfaces of unstable tori, whereas transition from phase to lag synchronization is preceded by a decrease in the number of unstable periodic orbits.  相似文献

We investigate experimentally the transition to phase synchronization in coupled Nd:YAG lasers. As the coupling strength increases, the phase difference of two chaotic laser outputs develops from nonsynchronous to a phase-synchronous state via +/-2pi phase jumps. 基于磁驱动加载装置CQ-4开展了锆的斜波压缩相变实验,研究了锆样品后表面窗口声阻抗对相变波形的影响.实验结果显示,锆后表面为较低声阻抗窗口(自由面和LiF窗口)时,相变起始对应的特征粒子速度约331.0 m/s,而高阻抗蓝宝石窗口时,特征粒子速度约301.9 m/s,特征速度对应的压力从约9.14 GPa下降到8.27 GPa.相变对应的速度特征拐点是与多种因素相关的实验信息,因此它对应的压力并不是材料属性参数相变压力.结合基于热力学Helmholtz自由能的多相状态方程和非平衡相变动力学方程开展了锆的相变动力学数值模拟研究,相变弛豫时间为30 ns,计算结果与三种情况的实验结果符合良好,可以较好地模拟斜波压缩下锆的弹塑性转变、相变等物理过程.在压力-比容和温度-压力热力学平面,相变前锆的准等熵线与冲击绝热线差异很小,相变后准等熵线都位于冲击绝热线下方,随着压力的增加准等熵线和冲击绝线偏差越来越大,温度-压力平面中在20 GPa时相差约100 K.相变开始后,由于相变引起比容的间断,导致锆的拉氏声速迅速下降约7%,相变完成后拉氏声速恢复到体波声速.  相似文献

The dynamic behavior of coupled chaotic oscillators is investigated. For small coupling, chaotic state undergoes a transition from a spatially disordered phase to an ordered phase with an orientation symmetry breaking. For large coupling, a transition from full synchronization to partial synchronization with translation symmetry breaking is observed. Two bifurcation branches, one in-phase branch starting from synchronous chaos and the other antiphase branch bifurcated from spatially random chaos, are identified by varying coupling strength epsilon. Hysteresis, bistability, and first-order transitions between these two branches are observed.  相似文献

We predict and confirm experimentally the regime of complete synchronization between lateral modes in a quantum cascade laser, when frequency combs belonging to different lateral modes merge into a single comb. 本文研究了耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程中的动力学行为, 发现由混沌非同步到混沌同步的转换过程中特殊的多吸引子共存现象. 通过计算耦合不连续系统的同步序参量和最大李雅普诺夫指数随耦合强度的变化, 发现了较复杂的同步转换过程: 临界耦合强度之后出现周期非同步态(周期性窗口); 分析了系统周期态的迭代轨道,发现其具有两类不同的迭代轨道: 对称周期轨道和非对称周期轨道, 这两类周期吸引子和同步吸引子同时存在, 系统表现出对初值敏感的多吸引子共存现象. 分析表明, 耦合不连续系统中的周期轨道是由于局部动力学的不连续特性和耦合动力学相互作用的结果. 最后, 对耦合不连续系统的同步转换过程进行了详细的分析, 结果表明其同步呈现出较复杂的转换过程.  相似文献

自陷电子对了解光电材料的光学性质非常重要.近些年来,形变晶格中电子自陷的问题受到研究人员的广泛关注.电子既与声学模耦合,也与光学模相互作用,但电子由自由态向自陷态的转变缘于近程的电子-声学声子耦合.研究表明:声学极化子在大多数半导体以及Ⅲ-Ⅴ族化合物,甚至碱卤化物中都不可能自陷.另一方面,电子-声子耦合在束缚结构,如二维、一维系统中,会有所增强.换言之,电子在低维结构中更容易自陷.Farias等人指出:声学极化子在二维系统中自陷的临界电子-声子耦合常数为定值,不随声子截止波矢的变化而改变.这种结论在物理上不尽合理.通过计算二维系统中的声学极化子基态能量和有效质量,讨论了二维声学极化子自陷问题.研究发现,二维声学极化子自陷转变的临界耦合常数随声子截止波矢的增加朝电子-声子耦合较弱的方向变化.这一特征与前人关于体和表面极化子研究获得的结论定性一致.所得二维声学极化子基态能量的表达式与Farias等人一致,但自陷的结果与Farias等人的结果在定性和定量上均有不同,我们认为Farias等人关于二维声学极化子自陷转变点的确定方式有不妥之处.通过改进自陷转变点的确定方式,得到了在物理上更合理的结果.  相似文献

We study the synchronization phenomena in a system of globally coupled oscillators with time delay in the coupling. The self-consistency equations for the order parameter are derived, which depend explicitly on the amount of delay. Analysis of these equations reveals that the system in general exhibits discontinuous transitions in addition to the usual continuous transition, between the incoherent state and a multitude of coherent states with different synchronization frequencies. In particular, the phase diagram is obtained on the plane of the coupling strength and the delay time, and ubiquity of multistability as well as suppression of the synchronization frequency is manifested. Numerical simulations are also performed to give consistent results.  相似文献

Acoustic emission has been observed in the α ? β transition of monocrystalline samples of paradichlorobenzene. No acoustic emission has been detected in the β → α transition of single crystals nor in the α ? β transitions in polycrystalline samples. The simultaneous observation of acoustic emission and Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance when several α ? β transition cycles are carried out reveals some features of this solid state phase transition.  相似文献

We investigate the transition route to phase synchronization in a chaotic laser with external modulation. Such a transition is characterized by the presence of a regime of periodic phase synchronization, in which phase slips occur with maximal coherence in the phase difference between output signal and external modulation. We provide the first experimental evidence of such a regime and demonstrate that it occurs at the crossover point between two different scaling laws of the intermittent-type behavior of phase slips.  相似文献

We study the relationship between synchronization and the rate with which information is exchanged between nodes in a spatio-temporal network that describes the dynamics of classical particles under a substrate Remoissenet-Peyrard potential. We also show how phase and complete synchronization can be detected in this network. The difficulty in detecting phase synchronization in such a network appears due to the highly non-coherent character of the particle dynamics which unables a proper definition of the phase dynamics. The difficulty in detecting complete synchronization appears due to the spatio character of the potential which results in an asymptotic state highly dependent on the initial state.   相似文献

In this study, we consider the emergence of explosive synchronization in scale-free networks by considering the Kuramoto model of coupled phase oscillators. The natural frequencies of oscillators are assumed to be correlated with their degrees and frustration is included in the system. This assumption can enhance or delay the explosive transition to synchronization. Interestingly, a de-synchronization phenomenon occurs and the type of phase transition is also changed. Furthermore, we provide an analytical treatment based on a star graph, which resembles that obtained in scale-free networks. Finally, a self-consistent approach is implemented to study the de-synchronization regime. Our findings have important implications for controlling synchronization in complex networks because frustration is a controllable parameter in experiments and a discontinuous abrupt phase transition is always dangerous in engineering in the real world.  相似文献
