A comparative analysis is carried out of different approaches to the calculation of DWBA cross sections for stripping to unbound states including single-particle resonances, compound resonances and the smooth background. A relationship is derived between unbound stripping and scattering cross sections on the same target. The reliability of spectroscopic factor concepts is discussed. Numerical checks are performed with the aid of stripping form factors obtained from the solution of a coupled channels equation system. 相似文献

Inclusive halo-nucleus core or nucleon stripping reactions are considered on the basis of a potential three-body model using
the eikonal and adiabatic approximations. Clear analytical expressions for the cross sections of these reactions are obtained,
and numerical calculations for 11Be halo nucleus are performed. Constituent absorption by the target nucleus substantially influences the integral and differential
(with respect to longitudinal momentum) nucleon stripping cross section. It is demonstrated that the differential core stripping

A comparative analysis of the nucleon stripping and core stripping reactions induced by a halo nucleus is presented on the basis of certain models for diffractive processes. It follows from calculations for the halo nucleus 11Be that the transverse momentum distribution of nucleons for core stripping (as the longitudinal momentum distribution) is less distorted by absorption in a target than the distribution of core fragments for nucleon stripping. The obtained relations between the cross sections for the stripping reactions simplify interpretation of the calculation results. 相似文献

Cross sections for stripping and dissociation of deuterons interacting with Be targets in the 100–2300 MeV energy range have
been measured. Comparisons with model calculations suggest a dominant contribution of the stripping process. It is also shown
that the deuteron break-up cross section exhibits the same energy dependence as the nucleon-nucleon cross section.

The effect of a change in deformation on stripping cross sections is discussed nearN=88–90, where the nuclear deformations strongly depend on the neutron number. For a series of initial and final deformations a reduction factor is calculated by which the stripping cross section as given bySatchler and others has to be multiplied. The possibility of experimentally modeling the interaction of high energy H− ions with foil targets using beams with more accessible lower energies that have the same dimensionless interaction parameter
and similar current characteristics is pointed out. Results are presented from the first stage of a study of the beam-foil
stripping of 2 and 7 MeV H− ions. An analysis of the charge composition of the beam after a carbon foil serves as a basis for determining the corresponding
cross sections for stripping of the ions and ionization of the product hydrogen atoms. The data from these and other beam-foil
experiments are in good agreement with theoretical cross sections on carbon at different energies, as well with calculated
values based on the superposition of experimental cross sections for gaseous carbon-containing targets.

A formulation of stripping reactions into the continuum is given taking the(d, p)-reaction as a specific example. We use the DWBA and the assumption that contributions from the nuclear interior are negligible. Under these assumptions we show that the cross section can be split into a “distortion matrix element” and a term depending on the neutron target interaction only through the phase shifts of the corresponding elastic neutron scattering. The interference with the “pure break-up” process is discussed. The connection between stripping to bound and unbound states in the limit of zero binding energy is established. A comparison with recent experimental results is given, where the “distortion matrix elements” are calculated, for the sake of simplicity, in the “Butler approximation”. 相似文献

The halo nucleus nucleon stripping reaction on a light target is studied using the diffraction theory of reactions with weakly bound nuclei. An improved version of the approximation of a small target’s radius (compared to the size of a halo nucleus) is formulated. The differential cross section for the reaction He4(d, p)He5 is calculated assuming cluster configurations in the residual nucleus. The processes leading to the ground state and to the second excited state of He5 are studied. The former is described by anα-particle — neutron configuration the latter by a triton — deuteron structure. Complete antisymmetrization of the wave functions, and thus exchange terms in the stripping amplitude are taken into account. The (t, p) reaction on the 9Be nucleus is analyzed using the mechanisms of dineutron stripping and 8Li heavy cluster stripping. It is shown that in the shell model, the wave function of the 11Be(1/2+) nucleus formed by adding two neutrons to the 9Be nucleus is constructed from a 10Be(0+) core and a 2s-neutron. This concept of the 11Be(1/2+) structure allows us to calculate the reduced width of tritium and a dineutron with a relative orbital angular momentum equal to 1. The differential cross section of the (t, p) reaction is calculated with allowance for the contribution from both mechanisms. The agreement between the theoretical and experimental cross sections of dineutron stripping at narrow angles θp confirms the shell model can be used to describe the states of nuclei with complex structure and mixed configurations of different shells. 相似文献

On the basis of diffraction scattering theory, elastic and inelastic deuteron-nucleus scattering, deuteron dissociation and stripping reactions have been studied at intermediate deuteron energies. The finite value of the nuclear surface diffuseness, Coulomb deuteron-nucleus interaction and internal deuteron structure have been considered in the analysis of differential and integrated deuteron-nucleus cross sections. The time-dependent Hartree-Fock approach in three dimensions is employed to study the multi-nucleon transfer reaction~(132) Sn +~(208) Pb at various incident energies above the Coulomb barrier. Probabilities for different transfer channels are calculated by using the particle-number projection method. The results indicate that neutron stripping(transfer from the projectile to the target) and proton pick-up(transfer from the target to the projectile)are favored. De-excitation of the primary fragments is treated by using the state-of-art statistical code GEMINI++.Primary and final production cross sections of the target-like fragments(with Z =77 to Z =87) are investigated. The results reveal that fission decay of heavy nuclei plays an important role in the de-excitation process of nuclei with Z 82. It is also found that the final production cross sections of neutron-rich nuclei depend only slightly on the incident energy, while those of neutron-deficient nuclei depend strongly on the incident energy. 相似文献

By evaluating all the contributions of the intermediate states of the multiple scattering theory diagrams, we compute the
integrated stripping cross sections of collisions among light nuclei. The resulting expressions have the simple form of a
combination of total inelastic cross sections of nuclear reactions with projectile nuclei differing in the atomic mass number.
We also check the accuracy of some widely used relations in heavy ion collisions.

The positive parity states in 167Er are described in terms of the rotational model, where the particle-rotation coupling is taken into account. The moment of inertia, the Fermi energy and the coupling strength are determined by fitting the energies. The wave functions thus obtained are used to calculate the (d, p) stripping and (d, t) pick-up cross sections and branching ratios. The results obtained are in agreement with experimental data. 相似文献
