Anilido phosphinimino ancillary ligand H(2)L(1) reacted with one equivalent of rare earth metal trialkyl [Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(3)(thf)(2)] (Ln=Y, Lu) to afford rare earth metal monoalkyl complexes [L(1)LnCH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)(THF)] (1 a: Ln=Y; 1 b: Ln=Lu). In this process, deprotonation of H(2)L(1) by one metal alkyl species was followed by intramolecular C--H activation of the phenyl group of the phosphine moiety to generate dianionic species L(1) with release of two equivalnts of tetramethylsilane. Ligand L(1) coordinates to Ln(3+) ions in a rare C,N,N tridentate mode. Complex l a reacted readily with two equivalents of 2,6-diisopropylaniline to give the corresponding bis-amido complex [(HL(1))LnY(NHC(6)H(3)iPr(2)-2,6)(2)] (2) selectively, that is, the C--H activation of the phenyl group is reversible. When 1 a was exposed to moisture, the hydrolyzed dimeric complex [{(HL(1))Y(OH)}(2)](OH)(2) (3) was isolated. Treatment of [Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(3)(thf)(2)] with amino phosphine ligands HL(2-R) gave stable rare earth metal bis-alkyl complexes [(L(2-R))Ln{CH(2)Si(CH(3))(3)}(2)(thf)] (4 a: Ln=Y, R=Me; 4 b: Ln=Lu, R=Me; 4 c: Ln=Y, R=iPr; 4 d: Ln=Y, R=iPr) in high yields. No proton abstraction from the ligand was observed. Amination of 4 a and 4 c with 2,6-diisopropylaniline afforded the bis-amido counterparts [(L(2-R))Y(NHC(6)H(3)iPr(2)-2,6)(2)(thf)] (5 a: R=Me; 5 b: R=iPr). Complexes 1 a,b and 4 a-d initiated the ring-opening polymerization of d,l-lactide with high activity to give atactic polylactides.  相似文献

Functional systems that combine redox-active metals and noninnocent ligands are no longer rare chemical oddities; they are instead emerging as significant components of catalytic and enzymatic reactions. The present work examines the synthetic and functional aspects of iron compounds ligated by a family of new trisamidoamine ligands of the type [(RNC6H4)3N]3- (L1). When R is the electron-rich 4-t-Bu-Ph moiety, the ligand can undergo oxidative rearrangement and store oxidizing equivalents under specific conditions. Starting ferrous complexes of the general formula [(L1)FeIIsolv]- (solv=CH3CN, dimethylformamide) can be easily oxidized (a) by dioxygen to afford the corresponding [(L1)FeIIIOH]- complexes, featuring several cases of terminal hydroxo units, and (b) by organochlorides (R-Cl) to provide [(L1)FeIIIsolv] congeners and coupled R-R products. Efforts to synthesize [(L1)FeIII-O-FeIII(L1)]2- by using [Cl3FeIII-O-FeIIICl3]2- indicate that intrinsic FeIIICl units can oxidatively rearrange the ligand to afford [(L1re)(Cl)FeII][Et4N]2, although the oxidizing equivalent is not retained. Compound [(L1re)(Cl)FeII][Et4N]2 can be further oxidized to [(L1re-2)(Cl)FeIII][Et4N] by CH2Cl2. Finally, oxidation of [(L1)FeIIIsolv] by FeCl3 affords [(L1reH)(Cl)FeII(micro-Cl)2FeII(Cl)(L1re-2H)], which features a similar ligand rearrangement that also gives rise to a diamagnetic, doubly oxidized moiety. These results underscore the complexity of chemical transformations available to systems in which both the metal and the ligand are redox-active entities.  相似文献

A new series of cis-dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes MoO(2)(L(n))Cl (n = 1-5) were prepared by the reaction of MoO(2)Cl(2)(DME) (DME = 1,2-dimethoxyethane) with 2-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)aminophenol (HL(1)) or its N-alkyl derivatives (HL(n)) (n = 2-5) in the presence of triethylamine. The new mu-oxo dimolybdenum compounds [MoO(2)(L(n))](2)O (n = 1, 4, 5, 7) were also prepared by treating the corresponding ligand HL(n) with MoO(2)(acac)(2) (acac = acetylacetonate) in warm methanolic solutions or (NH(4))(6)[Mo(7)O(24)].4H(2)O in the presence of dilute HCl. Treatment of MoO(2)(L(1))Cl or [MoO(2)(L(1))](2)O with the Grignard reagent Me(3)SiCH(2)MgCl gave the alkyl compound MoO(2)(L(1))(CH(2)SiMe(3)), which represents the first example of dioxomolybdenum(VI) alkyl complex supported by a N(2)O-type ancillary ligand. The analogous chloro and mu-oxo tungsten derivatives WO(2)(L(n))Cl (n = 6, 7) and [WO(2)(L(n))](2)O (n = 1, 4, 6, 7) were prepared by the reaction of WO(2)Cl(2)(DME) with HL(n) in the presence of triethylamine. Similar to their molybdenum analogues, the tungsten alkyl complexes WO(2)(L(n))(R) (n = 6, 7; R = Me, Et, CH(2)SiMe(3), C(6)H(4)(t)Bu-4) were synthesized by treating WO(2)(L(n))Cl or [WO(2)(L(n))](2)O (n = 6, 7) with the appropriate Grignard reagents. The catalytic properties of selected dioxo-Mo(VI) and -W(VI) chloro and mu-oxo complexes toward epoxidation of styrene by tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) were also investigated.  相似文献

Whereas the reaction of Tp(PhCN)(PPh(3))Ru-N(3) {Tp = HB(pz)(3), pz = pyrazolyl} with CH(3)I in CH(2)Cl(2) led to the cationic ruthenium methyleneimine complex [Tp(PPh(3))(PhCN)Ru(NH=CH(2))]I, the analogous reaction with HCl gave rise to the ruthenium chloride complex containing a methyl tris(pyrazolyl)borate ligand (Me)Tp(PPh(3))(PhCN)RuCl, as a result of the highly unusual methylene insertion into a B-H bond of the Tp ligand.  相似文献

Herein we describe the importance of side chains in C3-symmetric ligands in supramolecular chemistry. The reaction of the new ligand tris(5-bromo-2-methoxybenzylidene)triaminoguanidinium chloride [H3Me3Br3L]Cl (1) with ZnCl2 results in the formation of the monomeric complex (Et3NH)2[(ZnCl2)3Me3Br3L] (2), in which the ligand remains in a conformation less favourable for the coordination of metal centres. The use of the related tris(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)triaminoguanidinium chloride, [H6Br3L]Cl, under similar conditions, results in the formation of two different dimeric compounds (NH4)[{[Zn(NH3)]3Br3L}2{mu-(OH)}3]1/4MeOH (3) and [Zn{Zn2(OH2)3(NH3)Br3L}2] (4), depending on the solvent mixture used. The comparable reaction of the ligand tris(5-bromo-2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)triaminoguanidinium chloride [H6(OMe)3Br3L]Cl (5), leads to the formation of a doughnut-shaped, protein-sized coordination oligomer (Et3NH)18[{Zn[Zn2Cl{(OMe)3Br3L}]2}6(mu-Cl)6(OH2)6]x CH3CN (6), which comprises six dimeric [Zn5{(OMe)3Br3L}2] units. Whereas 3 and 4 decompose in DMSO solution, 6 is surprisingly stable in the same solvent.  相似文献

Treatment of [Li(L1)]2 (1) or K(L2) (2) with SnX2 in Et2O yielded the heteroleptic beta-diketiminatotin(II) halides Sn(L1)Cl (3a), Sn(L1)Br (3b) or Sn(L2)Cl (4), even when an excess of the alkali metal beta-diketiminate was used [L1={N(R)C(Ph)}2CH, L2={N(R)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(R)}, R = SiMe3]. From and half an equivalent each of SnCl2.2H2O and SnCl2, or one equivalent of SnCl2.2H2O, the product was Sn(L3)Cl (5) or Sn(L4)Cl (6), in which one or both of the N-R bonds of L1 had been hydrolytically cleaved; the compound Sn(L5)Cl (7) was similarly obtained from and an equivalent portion of SnCl2.2H2O [L3={N(R)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(H)}, L4={N(H)C(Ph)CHC(But)N(H)} and L5={N(H)C(Ph)}2CH]. The halide exchange between 3a and 3b, studied by two-dimensional (119)Sn{1H}-NMR spectroscopy, is attributed to implicate a (mu-Cl)(mu-Br)-dimeric intermediate or transition state. The 13C{1H}-NMR spectra of or showed two distinct resonances for each group, which coalesced on heating, corresponding to DeltaG(338 K)= 69.4 (3a) or 72.8 (3b) kJ mol(-1). The chloride ligand of was readily displaced by treatment with NaNR2, CF3SO3H or CH2(COPh)2, yielding Sn(L1)X [X = NR2 (8), O3SCF3 (9) or {OC(Ph)}2CH (10)]. Oxidative addition of sulfur or selenium to gave the tin(IV) terminal chalcogenides Sn(E)(L1)(NR2)[E = S (11) or Se (12)]. The X-ray structures of the cocrystal of 3a/3b and of the crystalline compounds 5, 6, 8, 11 and are presented, as well as multinuclear NMR spectra of each of the new compounds.  相似文献

Treatment of the bridging bidentate 1,Z-bis(aminopropyl)-1,Z-dicarba-closo-dodecaborane(12)(1,Z-bis(aminopropyl)-1,Z-carborane) ligands of the type 1,Z-[H(2)N(CH(2))(3)](2)-1,Z-C(2)B(10)H(10)(L(1), Z= 7, 5) or (L(2), Z= 12, 6) with two equivalents of trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-), followed by halogen ligand metathesis with AgOTf and HCl((aq)) afforded the novel diplatinum(II)-amine species cis-[[PtCl(2)(NH(3))](2)L(n)](7(n= 1) or 8(n= 2), respectively). Similarly, the reaction of L(1) or L(2) with the labile trans-[PtCl(dmf)(NH(3))(2)](+) afforded trans-[[PtCl(NH(3))(2)](2)L(n)](OTf)(2)(9(n= 1) or 10(n= 2), respectively) in good yield and purity. However, isolation of the analogous 1,2-carborane complexes was not possible owing to decomposition reactions that led to extensive degradation of the carborane cage and reduction of the metal centre. The mixed dinuclear complex [cis-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))]-L(1)-trans-[PtCl(NH(3))(2)]]OTf (19) was prepared by treatment of the Boc-protected amine ligand 1-[(Boc)(2)N(CH(2))(3)]-7-[H(2)N(CH(2))(3)]-1,7-C(2)B(10)H(10)(L(3), 15) with trans-[PtCl(dmf)(NH(3))(2)](+) to yield trans-[PtCl(NH(3))(2)L(3)]OTf (16), followed by acid deprotection of the pendant amine group, complexation with trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-), and halogen ligand metathesis using AgOTf and HCl((aq)). A novel trinuclear species containing 5 was prepared by the addition of two equivalents of 15 to the labile precursor cis-[Pt(dmf)(2)(NH(3))(2)](2+) followed by acid deprotection of the pendant amine groups. Further complexation with two equivalents of trans-[PtClI(2)(NH(3))](-) followed by halogen ligand metathesis using AgOTf and HCl((aq)) afforded the triplatinum(II)-amine species [cis-[Pt(NH(3))(2)(L(1))(2)]-cis-[PtCl(2)(NH(3))](2)](OTf)(2)(23). Complexes 7-10, 19 and 23 represent the first examples of multinuclear platinum(ii)-amine derivatives containing carborane cages. Preliminary in vitro cytotoxicity studies for selected complexes are also reported.  相似文献

Magnesocene adducts of alkylamines were prepared and characterized. Treatment of 3-amino-2,4-dimethylpentane, isopropylamine, tert-butylamine, benzylamine, or N-isopropylbenzylamine with magnesocene at ambient temperature in toluene afforded the amine adducts Cp2Mg(NH2CH(CH(CH3)2)2) (91%), Cp2Mg(NH2iPr) (80%), Cp2Mg(NH2tBu) (67%), Cp2Mg(NH2CH2Ph) (80%), and Cp2Mg(NH(CH(CH3)2)(CH2C6H5)) (91%). These adducts are stable at ambient temperature, and Cp2Mg(NH2CH(CH(CH3)2)2) can be sublimed at 60 degrees C/0.05 Torr without any evidence for reversion to magnesocene. The solid-state structure of Cp2Mg(NH2CH(CH(CH3)2)2) contains eta5- and eta2-cyclopentadienyl ligands, and the hydrogen atoms on the coordinated amine nitrogen atom participate in intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonding to the eta2-cyclopentadienyl ligand. The observed hydrogen bonding is relevant to the path by which cyclopentadiene is eliminated from metal cyclopentadienyl CVD source compounds during film growth employing acidic element hydrides as co-reactants.  相似文献

Facile substitution reactions of the two water ligands in the hydrophilic tetradentate phosphine complex cis-[Fe{(HOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OH)2)CH2}2P(CH2OH)}(H2O)2](SO4) (abbreviated to [Fe(L1)(H2O)2](SO4), 1) take place upon addition of Cl-, NCS-, N3(-), CO3(2-) and CO to give [Fe(L1)X2] (2, X = Cl; 4, X = NCS; 5, X=N3), [Fe(L1)(kappa2-O(2)CO)], 6 and [Fe(L1)(CO)2](SO4), 7. The unsymmetrical mono-substituted intermediates [Fe(L1)(H2O)(CO)](SO(4)) and [Fe(L(1))(CO)(kappa(1)-OSO(3))] (8/9) have been identified spectroscopically en-route to 7. Treatment of 1 with acetic anhydride affords the acylated derivative [Fe{(AcOCH2)P{CH2N(CH2P(CH2OAc)2)CH2}2P(CH2OAc)}(kappa2-O(2)SO2)] (abbreviated to [Fe(L2)(kappa2-O(2)SO2)], 10), which has increased solubility over 1 in both organic solvents and water. Treatment of 1 with glycine does not lead to functionalisation of L1, but substitution of the aqua ligands occurs to form [Fe(L(1))(NH(2)CH(2)CO(2)-kappa(2)N,O)](HSO(4)), 11. Compound 10 reacts with chloride to form [Fe(L(2))Cl(2)] 12, and 12 reacts with CO in the presence of NaBPh4 to form [Fe(L2)Cl(CO)](BPh4) 13b. Both of the chlorides in 12 are substituted on reaction with NCS- and N3(-) to form [Fe(L2)(NCS)2] 14 and [Fe(L2)(N3)2] 15, respectively. Complexes 2.H2O, 4.2H2O, 5.0.812H2O, 6.1.7H2O, 7.H2O, 10.1.3CH3C(O)CH3, 12 and 15.0.5H2O have all been crystallographically characterised.  相似文献

Treatment of the complexes [Re(NO)2(PR3)2][BAr(F)4] (R = Cy, 1 a; R = iPr, 1 b) with phenyldiazomethane gave the cationic benzylidene species [Re{CH(C6H5)}(NO)2(PR3)2][BAr(F)4] (2 a and 2 b) in good yields. Upon reaction of 2 a and 2 b with acetonitrile, the consecutive formation of [Re(N[triple bond]CCH3)(N[triple bond]CPh)(NO)(OC(CH3)=NH)(PR3)][BAr(F)4] (3 a and 3 b) and [Re(NCCH3)(OC{CH3}NH{C6H5})(NO)(PR3)2][BAr(F)4] (4 a and 4 b) was observed. The proposed reaction sequence involves the coupling of coordinated NO, carbene and acetonitrile molecules to yield the (1Z)-N-[imino(phenyl)methyl]ethanimidate ligand. The coupling of the nitrosyl and the benzylidene is anticipated to occur first, forming an oximate species. The subsequent acetonitrile addition can be envisaged as a heteroene reaction of the oximate and the acetonitrile ligand yielding 3 a and 3 b, which in turn can cyclise and undergo a prototropic shift initiated by an internal attack of the ethaneimidate ligand on the benzonitrile moiety to afford 4 a and 4 b.  相似文献

The reaction of the functional diphosphine 1 [1 = 2-(bis(diphenylphosphino)methyl-oxazoline] with [PtCl(2)(NCPh)(2)] or [PdCl(2)(NCPh)(2)], in the presence of excess NEt(3), affords [Pt{(Ph(2)P)(2)C···C(···NCH(2)CH(2)O)}(2)] ([Pt(1(-H)-P,P)(2)], 3a) and [Pd{(Ph(2)P)(2)C···C(···NCH(2)CH(2)O)}(2)] ([Pd(1(-H)-P,P)(2)], 3b), respectively, in which 1(-H) is (oxazoline-2-yl)bis(diphenylphosphino)methanide. The reaction of 3b with 2 equiv of [AuCl(tht)] (tht = tetrahydrothiophene) afforded [Pd(1(-H)-P,N)(2)(AuCl)(2)] (4), as a result of the opening of the four-membered metal chelate since ligand 1(-H), which was P,P-chelating in 3b, behaves as a P,N-chelate toward the Pd(II) center in 4 and coordinates to Au(I) through the other P donor. In the absence of a base, the reaction of ligand 1 with [PtCl(2)(NCPh)(2)] in MeCN or CH(2)Cl(2) afforded the isomers [Pt{(Ph(2)P)(2)C═C(OCH(2)CH(2)NH)}(2)]Cl(2) ([Pt(1'-P,P)(2)]Cl(2) (5), 1' = 2-(bis(diphenylphosphino)methylene)-oxazolidine) and [Pt{(Ph(2)P)(2)C═C(OCH(2)CH(2)NH)}{Ph(2)PCH═C(OCH(2)CH(2)N(PPh(2))}]Cl(2) ([Pt(1'-P,P)(2'-P,P)]Cl(2) (6), 2' = (E)-3-(diphenylphosphino)-2-((diphenylphosphino)methylene)oxazolidine]. The P,P-chelating ligands in 5 result from a tautomeric shift of the C-H proton of 1 to the nitrogen atom, whereas the formation of one of the P,P-chelates in 6 involves a carbon to nitrogen phosphoryl migration. The reaction of 5 and 6 with a base occurred by deprotonation at the nitrogen to afford 3a and [Pt{(Ph(2)P)(2)C···C(···NCH(2)CH(2)O)}{Ph(2)PCH═COCH(2)CH(2)N(PPh(2))}]Cl ([Pt(1(-H)-P,P)(2'-P,P)]Cl (7)], respectively. In CH(2)Cl(2), an isomer of 3a, [Pt{Ph(2)P)(2)C···C(···NCH(2)CH(2)O)}{Ph(2)PC(PPh(2))═COCH(2)CH(2)N}] ([Pt(1(-H)-P,P)(1(-H)-P,N)] (8)), was obtained as a side product which contains ligand 1(-H) in two different coordination modes. Complexes 3b·4CH(2)Cl(2), 4·CHCl(3), 6·2.5CH(2)Cl(2), and 8·CH(2)Cl(2) have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

In a novel template synthesis of carbodiphosphoranes (CDPs), the phosphine functionalized CDP ligand C(dppm)(2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) is formed in the coordination sphere of group 10 metals from CS(2) and 4 equivalents of dppm. The products are the PCP pincer complexes [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) and 2 equivalents of dppmS. The compound C(dppm)(2), which is composed of a divalent carbon atom and two dppm subunits, represents a new PCP-type pincer ligand with the formally neutral carbon Lewis base of the CDP functionality as the central carbon. Treatment of [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Pd, Pt) with hydrochloric acid results in protonation at the CDP carbon atom and the formation of the PCP pincer complexes [M(Cl)(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt). The PCP pincer ligand [CH(dppm)(2)](+) involves a formally cationic central carbon donor. The reaction of [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl with HCl leads to the extrusion of NiCl(2) and formation of the diprotonated CDP compound [CH(2)(dppm)(2)]Cl(2), from which the monoprotonated conjugate base [CH(dppm)(2)]Cl is obtained upon addition of bases, such as NH(3). The crystal structures of [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Ni, Pd, Pt), [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)](2)[NiCl(4)], [M(Cl)(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt) as well as [CH(2)(dppm)(2)]Cl(2) and [CH(dppm)(2)]Cl are presented. A comparison of the solid state structures reveals interesting features, e.g. infinite supramolecular networks mediated by C-H···Cl hydrogen bond interactions and an unexpected loss of molecular symmetry upon protonation in the complexes [M(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)(Cl)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt) as a result of the flexible ligand backbone. Additionally the new compounds were characterized comprehensively in solution by multinuclear (31)P, (13)C and (1)H NMR spectroscopy: Several spectroscopic parameters show a striking variability in particular regarding the carbodiphosphorane functionality. Furthermore the compound [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl was examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and could be shown to display quasi-reversible oxidative as well as reductive behaviour.  相似文献

Reaction of CuF2 with one equivalent of 3{5}-(pyrid-2-yl)-5{3}-(tertbutyl)pyrazole (HL) and excess NH4OH in MeOH affords crystalline [NH4{Cu(micro-F)(microL)}6(CH2Cl2)2]HF2 in moderate yield. This compound contains the 12-MC-6 metallacrown [{Cu(micro-F)(micro-L)}6] (1) with a NH4 + ion at its center, and CH2Cl2 molecules complexed in bowl-shaped cavities above and below the Cu6F6 ring. Similar reactions using the bases MeNH2, glycine, l-alanine or beta-alanine afforded solvated crystals of [1(H3NMe)2]Cl2, [1(gly)2], [1(l-ala)2], and [1(beta-ala)2], respectively. The metallacrown 1 in these products contains methylammonium and zwitterionic amino-acid guests in its two bowl-shaped cavities; each of the amino acids hydrogen-bonds to three F atoms. A related reaction using 1,6-diaminohexane resulted in fixation of CO2 from the air to give solvated [1(H3NC6H12NHCO2)2], again with a zwitterionic guest. NMR, ESI-MS and UV/vis measurements suggest that the metallacrown 1 retains its integrity in several organic solvents, although it is unclear to what extent guest binding takes place in solution.  相似文献

The oxygen-bridged, silicon-substituted alkane {(Me3Si)2CH(SiMe2)}2O (1) may be prepared by the reaction of {(Me3Si)2CH}Li with ClSiMe2OSiMe2Cl in refluxing THF. Similarly, the alkane {(Me3Si)(Me2MeOSi)CH(SiMe2CH2)}2 (2) is readily accessible from the reaction between {(Me3Si)(Me2MeOSi)CH}Li and ClSiMe2CH2CH2SiMe2Cl under the same conditions. Compound 1 reacts with two equivalents of MeK to give the polymeric complex [[{(Me3Si)2C(SiMe2)}2O]K2(OEt2)]infinity [5(OEt2)] after recrystallisation. Treatment of 2 with two equivalents of either MeLi or MeK gives the corresponding complexes [{(Me3Si)(Me2MeOSi)C(SiMe2CH2)}2Li][Li(DME)3] [7(DME)3] and [{(Me3Si)(Me2MeOSi)C(SiMe2CH2)}2K2]n (8), respectively, after recrystallisation. Treatment of the alkane (Me3Si)2(Me2MeOSi)CH with one equivalent of MeK gives the polymeric complex [{(Me3Si)2(Me2MeOSi)C}K]infinity (3). These compounds have been identified by 1H and 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopy and elemental analyses and compounds 5(OEt2), 7(DME)3 and 3 have been further characterised by X-ray crystallography. Compound 7(DME)3 crystallises as a solvent-separated ion pair, whereas 5(OEt2) and 3 adopt polymeric structures in the solid state.  相似文献

Reaction of the dimer [(Cp*IrCl)2(P-Cl)2] with chiral pyridylamino ligands (pyam, L1-L5) in the presence of NaSbF6 gave complexes [Cp*IrCl(pyam)][SbF6] 1-5 as diastereomeric mixtures, which have been fully characterised, including the X-ray molecular structure determination of the complexes (S(Ir),R(N),R(C))-[Cp*IrClL1][SbF6] 1a and (R(Ir),S(N),S(C))-[Cp*IrClL5][SbF6] 5a. Treatment of these cations with AgSbF6 affords the corresponding aqua species [Cp*Ir(pyam)(H2O)][SbF6]2 6-10 which have been also fully characterised. The molecular structure of the complex (S(Ir),R(N),R(C))-[Cp*IrL,(H2O)][SbF6]2 6 has been determined by X-ray diffractometric methods. The aqua complexes [Cp*Ir(pyam)(H2O)][SbF6]2 (6, pyam = L2 (7), L3 (8)) evolve to the cyclometallated species [Cp*Ir{kappa3(N,N',C)-(R)-(C6H4)CH(CH3)NHCH2C5NH4}][SbF6] (11), [Cp*Ir{kappa3(N,N',C)-(R)-(C10H6)CH(CH3)-NHCH2C5NH4)}][SbF6] (12), and [Cp*Ir{kappa3(N,N',C)-(R)-(C10H6)CH(CH3)NHCH2C9NH6)}][SbF6] (13) respectively, via intramolecular activation of an ortho C-H aryl bond. Complexes 6-10 are enantioselective catalysts for the Diels-Alder reaction between methacrolein and cyclopentadiene. Reaction occurs rapidly at room temperature with good exo : endo selectivity (from 81 : 19 to 98 : 2) and moderate enantioselectivity (up to 72%). The involved intermediate Lewis acid-dienophile compounds [Cp*Ir(pyam)(methacrolein)][SbF]2 (pyam = L4 (14), L5 (15)) have been isolated and characterised.  相似文献

Proton-driven ligand dissociation kinetics in the presence of chloride, bromide, and nitrate ions have been investigated for model siderophore complexes of Fe(III) with the mono- and dihydroxamic acid ligands R(1)C(=O)N(OH)R(2) (R(1) = CH(3), R(2) = H; R(1) = CH(3), R(2) = CH(3); R(1) = C(6)H(5), R(2) = H; R(1) = C(6)H(5), R(2) = C(6)H(5)) and CH(3)N(OH)C(=O)[CH(2)](n)C(=O)N(OH)CH(3) (H(2)L(n); n = 2, 4, 6). Significant rate acceleration in the presence of chloride ion is observed for ligand dissociation from the bis(hydroxamate)- and mono(hydroxamate)-bound complexes. Rate acceleration was also observed in the presence of bromide and nitrate ions but to a lesser extent. A mechanism for chloride ion catalysis of ligand dissociation is proposed which involves chloride ion dependent parallel paths with transient Cl(-) coordination to Fe(III). The labilizing effect of Cl(-) results in an increase in microscopic rate constants on the order of 10(2)-10(3). Second-order rate constants for the proton driven dissociation of dinuclear Fe(III) complexes formed with H(2)L(n)() were found to vary with Fe-Fe distance. An analysis of these data permits us to propose a reactive intermediate of the structure (H(2)O)(4)Fe(L(n)())Fe(HL(n))(Cl)(OH(2))(2+) for the chloride ion dependent ligand dissociation path. A straightforward methodology for the high-yielding synthesis of the di-functionalised phosphines {Ph2P(CH2)2NC4H8E, E = NMe (1), O (2), S (3)}via base-catalysed Michael addition is described. Reaction of the functionalised tertiary phosphines 1-3 with PdCl2(MeCN)2 affords complexes in which the ligands are bound in a tridentate fashion, namely [PdCl(kappa3-PNE)]Cl (6a, 8) as the predominant products. A kappa2-PN coordination mode was also identified crystallographically for ligand following its reaction with PdCl2(MeCN)2, which afforded [PdCl2(-kappa2-PN)] (6b) in ca. 5% yield. Conductivity studies of solutions of 6a are consistent with an ionic formulation, however the poor solubility of and precluded their study in a similar fashion. Analysis of bulk samples of [PdCl2(1)] (6) and [PdCl2(3)] (8) by 15N and 31P NMR spectroscopy in the solid state as consistent with exclusive tridentate binding of the PNE ligands. An X-ray crystallographic study has probed the coordination of in the unusual salt [PdCl(-kappa3-PNN)]2[Mg(SO4)2(OH2)4] (10) prepared by treating a methanolic solution of with excess MgSO4. No data could be obtained to support the transformation of 6a into 6b on addition of excess chloride. In contrast, 6a reacts regioselectively with the water-soluble phosphine Cy2PCH2CH2NMe3Cl to afford the cis-diphosphine complex cis-[PdCl(Cy2PCH2CH2NMe3Cl)(1-kappa2-PN)]Cl2 (9). Reaction of 1 with PdCl(Me)(COD) results in the formation of the kappa2-PN dichloride complex [PdCl(Me)(1-kappa(2)-PN)] (11). Attempts to prepare [Pd(Me)(MeCN)(-kappa2-PN)][PF6] (12) through reaction of 11 with NaPF6 in MeCN led to decomposition. Treatment of PdMe2(TMEDA) with 1 at low temperature initially affords [PdMe2(1-kappa2-NN)], which isomerises to afford [PdMe(2)(1-kappa(2)-PN)] (13); at temperatures greater than 10 degrees C complex 13 decomposes rapidly.  相似文献

A new Zn(2+) fluorescent chemosensor N'-(3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene)-2-hydroxybenzoylhydrazine (H(3)L(1)) and its complexes [Zn(HL(1))C(2)H(5)OH](∞) (1) and [Cu(HL(1))(H(2)O)]CH(3)OH (2) have been synthesized and characterized in terms of their crystal structures, absorption and emission spectra. H(3)L(1) displays high selectivity for Zn(2+) over Na(+), K(+), Mg(2+), Ca(2+) and other transition metal ions in Tris-HCl buffer solution (pH = 7.13, EtOH-H(2)O = 8?:?2 v/v). To obtain insight into the relation between the structure and selectivity, a similar ligand 3,5-di-tert-butylsalicylidene benzoylhydrazine (H(2)L(2)), which lacks the hydroxyl group substituent in salicyloyl hydrazide compared with H(3)L(1), and its complex [Zn(2)(HL(2))(2)(CH(3)COO)(2)(C(2)H(5)OH)] (3), [Co(L(2))(2)][Co(DMF)(4)(C(2)H(5)OH)(H(2)O)] (4), [Fe(HL(2))(2)]Cl·2CH(3)OH (5), have also been investigated as a reference. H(3)L(1) exhibits improved selectivity for Zn(2+) compared to H(2)L(2). The findings indicate that the hydroxyl group substituent exerts an effect on the spectroscopic properties, complex structures and selectivity of the fluorescent sensor.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(L)N'2 (Ln = Nd, Ce; L = t-BuNCH2CH2[C{NCHCHNt-Bu}], N' = N(SiMe3)2) with trimethylsilyl iodide regiospecifically functionalises the carbene backbone at the C4-carbene ring position to afford the silylated complex Ln(L')N'I; Ln(L')N'2 is isolated after attempted reduction (L' = t-BuNCH2CH2[C{NC(SiMe3)CHNt-Bu}]) which allows a comparison of the structurally characterised complexes Nd(L)N'2, [Nd(L')N'I]2, and Nd(L')N'2.  相似文献
