We carried out a comprehensive study of structural, magnetic and electrotransport properties of as-deposited and annealed (Ni80Fe20)χAg(1−χ) heterogenous alloys prepared by sputtering. The NiFe atomic concentration was varied between 15% and 40%. These alloys consist of small magnetic particles (Ni80Fe20) embedded in a nonmagnetic matrix (Ag). The structures of these alloys were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and high-resolution cross-section transmission electron microscopy. The magnetic measurements were made using SQUID magnetometry and ferromagnetic resonance. Magnetoresistance was measured with a conventional four-point probe between 1.5 K and room temperature in field range 0–6T. Three contributions to the magnetoresistance of these granular alloys have been clearly identified: the spin-valve (or giant) magnetoresistance as in multilayers, scattering on magnetic fluctuations (as in any ferromagnetic metal around its magnetic ordering temperature), and anisotropic magnetoresistance. These three contributions have their own dependences on the size of the magnetic particles, on the degree of intermixing between Ni80Fe20 and Ag, and on temperature. We discuss the different shapes and amplitudes of magnetoresistance versus Ni80Fe20 concentration or temperature and their evolution upon annealing in terms of the relative roles of these three contributions. The magnetoresistance in multilayers (current in-plane or perpendicular to the plane) and granular alloys are also compared.  相似文献

We have performed ferromagnetic resonance measurements on thin polycrystalline Ni80Fe20 (permalloy) double layers with interlayers of Cu, Cr and Pd. Furthermore, a mathematical model is presented, which allows a calculation of resonance fields in the parallel configuration. Comparison of the calculated and measured resonance field values yields an interlayer exchange coupling constant A12 as a function of interlayer thickness d. We observe exponential dependencies of A12 on d for Cr, Cu and Pd interlayers with the strongest decay for Cr. Additionally, we present FMR measurements and calculations for a Ni80Fe20/Cr/Co heterostructure layer system.  相似文献

We present here a study of the angular dependence of the ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectra in trilayers formed by two continuous ferromagnetic layers, Fe and Ni80Fe20 (permalloy), separated by a granular film of Fe(x)–SiO2(1–x). The study of the Fe/Fe-SiO2/Ni80Fe20 trilayer was made for an Fe volume concentration x=0.75 and two thicknesses (t=1 and 18 nm) of the granular layer. One microwave absorption line is in general found close to the field expected for Fe, while the other is coincident with the resonance field of permalloy. However, the Fe-like absorption is considerably wider than what is usually observed in pure Fe films, which suggests the presence of a strong exchange interaction between this layer and the granular spacer. The angular dependence of the resonance field and the line width could be very well fitted with a model that assumes an effective in-plane anisotropy for each layer, indicating that the shape anisotropy dominates the angular response of both modes. When the excitation frequency is increased, the line width of the permalloy-like mode increases by a similar factor. The width of the Fe-like mode is very similar at different frequencies because of the effect of the granular layer.  相似文献

NiO/Co and NiO/Ni80Fe20 bilayers were prepared at 293 onto SiO2(1 0 1)/Si(1 1 1) and glass substrates using UHV (5×10−10 mbar) RF/DC magnetron sputtering. Results on magnetic measurements showed that the exchange biasing and coercive fields are inversely proportional to the Co and Ni80Fe20 (Py) layer thickness down to 2 nm. A maximal RT coupling energy for the NiO–Co and NiO–Py interface was estimated as 0.04 and 0.03 mJ/m2 for the samples prepared onto SiO2(1 0 1)/Si(1 1 1) substrates.  相似文献

The anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) in permalloy Ni81Fe19 film deposited on a 1.2 nm Co33Cr67 buffer layer was significantly enhanced. The high-resolution electron microscopy was used to study the microstructure of Ni81Fe19 film with and without Co33Cr67 buffer layer. It was found that Co33Cr67 buffer layer can induce good (1 1 1) texture, while without Co33Cr67 buffer layer, Ni81Fe19 film show randomly oriented grain structure. The Δρ/ρ enhancement is attributed to the decrease in the resistivity ρ of the Ni81Fe19 film due to the formation of the large (1 1 1) textured grains in Ni81Fe19 film with Co33Cr67 buffer layer. However, the surface roughness of substrate may limit the (1 1 1) textured grain size and induce additional grain boundaries in Ni81Fe19 film with Co33Cr67 buffer layer, limit the enhancement of the AMR effect.  相似文献

研究了磁场诱导生长的BiFeO3/Ni18Fe19磁性双层膜中 的交换偏置及其热稳定性. 结果表明: BiFeO3/Ni18Fe19双层膜中的交换偏置场Hex未表现出明显的磁练习效应. 在负饱和磁场等待过程中, BiFeO3/Ni18Fe19双层膜磁滞回线的前支和后支曲 线都随着在负饱和磁场中等待时间tsat的增加向正场方向偏移. 交换偏置场Hex的大小随着等待时间tsat的增加而减小, 矫顽力Hc基本不变. 交换偏置场Hex的大小随测量温度Tm的升高变化不明显, 表现出良好的热稳定性; 但矫顽力HcTm的升高而显著减小. 良好的热稳定性应该来源于铁电性和反铁磁性间的共同耦合作用. 关键词: 多铁性 磁性薄膜 交换偏置 热稳定性  相似文献

利用上海光源软X射线谱学显微光束线站(STXM)并结合X射线的磁圆二色效应, 我们对方形、圆形和三角形的Ni80Fe20薄膜微结构中的磁涡旋结构进行了定量实验观测, 并利用同步辐射光源的元素分辨特性, 分别在Fe和Ni的L3吸收边对涡旋磁结构进行了观测. 我们还对磁涡旋中磁矩的分布进行了定量分析, 发现实验结果与微磁学模拟结果完全符合.  相似文献

The rotational magnetization process of an exchange coupled Ni81Fe19(10 nm)/Fe50Mn50(10 nm) bilayer was studied by Kerr microscopy. The domain processes in rotating magnetic fields near the exchange bias field Heb are very sensitive to local variations of coupling strength and direction. A characteristic domain splitting was found that shows a remarkably different behavior for weaker and stronger coupled areas. While the magnetization in weaker coupled areas follows the rotating field for HHeb, the stronger coupled areas switch back spring-like. As a result high-angle walls are formed between both areas causing rotational hysteresis.  相似文献

This work describes multilayers of Co90Fe10 tF/Ru tRu/Co90Fe10 tF and Ni81Fe19 tF/Ru tRu/Ni81Fe19 tF (20 ÅtF200 Å) prepared at ambient temperature by ion beam deposition on Si/SiO2 3 kÅ substrates. The samples exhibited a maximum antiferromagnetic coupling with tRu=3.2 Å and MH curves characterized by zero remanent magnetic moment and enhanced saturation field. Antiferromagnetic peaks were present with tRu17 and 30 Å.  相似文献

Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 (0.0≤x≤1.0) nanoparticles have been prepared by the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) sol-gel method. The lattice parameter of Ni-Zn ferrite nanoparticles is larger than that of the bulk material. The variation of saturation magnetization (Ms) as a function of x has been studied. The M?ssbauer spectra of the samples at room temperature showed the presence of ultrafine particles, exhibiting superparamagnetic relaxation. At higher annealing temperature, the portion of the ferromagnetic ultrafine particles increased.  相似文献

A systematic investigation of structure and magnetic properties of the new R3Fe29-xCrx compounds(R=Y,Ce,Nd,Sm,Gd, Tb,and Dy)has been performed. The Curie temperature of R3Fe29-xCrx increased with increasing atomic number fromR=Ce to Gd and de creased from Gd to Dy. The saturation magnetization of R3Fe29-xCrx at 4.2 K decreased gradually with increasing atomic number from R=Y to Dy,except for Ce. The spin reorientations of the easy magnetization d irection were observed at around 230 K for Nd3Fe24.5Cr4.5 and 180 K for Tb3Fe28.0Cr1.0,and the magnetohistory effects were obser ved for Nd3Fe24.5Cr4.5 and Sm3Fe24.0Cr5.0 in a low field of about 0.04 T. First order magnetization process occurs in magnetic field of around 2.3 T at room temperature for Tb3Fe28.0Cr1.0. The saturation magnetization of Y3Fe27.2Cr1.8 at 4.2 K is 52.2μB/f.u., which corresponds to an average magnetic moment of 1.92μB per each Fe atom.  相似文献

研究了处于永磁体强磁场中Mn1.2Fe0.8P1-xSix 系列化合物的热磁发电性能, 采用高性能球磨和固相烧结合成方法制备了Mn1.2Fe0.8P1-xSix 系列化合物, 并对该系列化合物的物相结构、磁性和热磁发电性能进行了测量. 结果表明: Mn1.2Fe0.8P0.37Si0.63和Mn1.2Fe0.8P0.35Si0.65化合物是具有Fe2P型六角结构的一级相变软磁性材料, 两者居里温度分别为334 K和348 K, 处于工业余热温区. 根据一级相变磁性材料在居里温度磁化强度发生突变这一特性, 研制热磁发电演示装置, 测量了Mn1.2Fe0.8P0.37Si0.63和Mn1.2Fe0.8P0.35Si0.65这两种材料铁磁相变产生感应电流大小与线圈匝数、热磁发电材料质量、表面积、表面上温度梯度的关系. 研究结果表明, Mn1.2Fe0.8P1-xSix系列化合物具有很好的热磁发电性能, 有望成为热磁发电候选材料.  相似文献

Variation of the complex permeability with frequency of Ni1−xZnxFe2O4 (x=0.5, 0.6 and 0.7) prepared by a combustion method has been measured over a wide range of frequency, up to 1.8 GHz. Zn content improves permeability but moves the onset of resonance to lower frequencies.

The influence on some properties of samples prepared by the insertion of small amounts of Ruthenium, Yttrium and rare-earth cations into the Ni0.5Zn0.5MxFe2−xO4 ferrite has been also investigated. Relative losses and Curie temperature of all the samples have been measured. Ferrites substituted with Ru and Gd improve microwave behavior compared to non-substituted samples.  相似文献

A systematic investigation of nitrides R3Fe29-xCrxN4(R=Y, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, and Dy) has been performed. The nitrogen concentration in the nitride R3Fe29-xCrxNy was determined to be y=4. Nitrogenation leads to a relative volume expansion of about 5.3%. The lattice constants and unit cell volume decrease with in creasing rare earth atomic number from Nd to Dy, reflecting the lanthanide contraction. In average, the increase of Curie temperature upon nitrogenation is about 200 K, compared with its parent compound. The nitrogenation also results in a remarkable improvement in the saturation magnetization and anisotropy fields for R3Fe29-xCrxN4 at 4.2 K and room temperature, comp ared with their parent compounds. A spin reorientation of Nd3Fe24.5 Cr4.5N4 occurs at around 368 K, which is 138 K higher than that of Nd3Fe24.5Cr4.5.Magnetohistory effects of R3Fe29-xCrxN4(R=Nd and Sm) are observed in a low field of 0.04 T. First order magneti zation process occurs in Sm3Fe24.0Cr5.0N4 in magnetic fields of around 3.0 T at 4.2 K. After nitrogenation the easy magnetization direction of Sm3Fe24.0Cr5.0 is changed from the easy cone structure to the uniaxial. The excellent intrinsic magnetic properties of Sm3Fe24.0Cr5.0N4 make this compound a hopeful candidate for new high performance permanent magnets.  相似文献

文章研究了Cu替代部分Ni对铁磁性形状记忆合金Ni50Mn36In14相变和磁性的影响规律. 研究表明,在Ni50-xCuxMn36In14中,随着Cu含量的增加,相变温度逐渐降低. Cu含量低于5%时,奥氏体的磁性强于马氏体的磁性, 母相和马氏体相的饱和磁化强度的差值ΔM随着Cu含量的增加而增大. 当Cu含量x=4.5时, ΔM迅速增加到80 emu/g, 并在该材料中观察到了磁场驱动的马氏体到奥氏体的转变,显示了该材料作为磁驱动磁电阻材料的潜在应用前景.当Cu含量高于5%时,奥氏体保持铁磁状态, 马氏体相由反铁磁状态变为铁磁状态,马氏体的磁性强于奥氏体的磁性, ΔM大大削弱,磁场驱动性质消失.  相似文献

研究了Mn42Al50-xFe8+x合金的结构、磁性和磁热效应. 通过成分调节, 居里温度TC在室温附近一宽温区连续可调, 分别为270 K (Mn42Al42Fe16), 341 K (Mn42Al40Fe18)和370 K(Mn42Al38Fe20). 磁化强度在相变温度处发生一陡降, 热磁曲线和等温磁化曲线均未观察到热和磁的滞后, 表明发生一可逆的二级相变. 在各自居里温度附近, 0-5 T的外磁场变化下磁熵变峰值分别为2.48, 2.52和2.40 J·kg-1·K-1. Mn50-xAl50-yFex+y合金的磁熵变峰值虽然与许多优良的磁制冷材料相比并不大, 但是制备该化合物的原材料价格非常低廉, 制备工艺简单, 加工成型也较容易, 化合物本身耐腐蚀性、延展性较好, 且在居里温度附近发生的是可逆的二级相变, 无晶格或结构的变化, 有利于制冷剂的多次循环使用. 关键词: 磁性 磁热效应 二级相变  相似文献

We report on alloys formed by replacing iron with manganese in the compound Dy2Fe17C1.0 Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction and magnetic measure-ments, The 2:17-type structure can be crystallized in the whole range of manganese substitution. The Curie temperature of the series of Dy2Fe17-xMnxC1.0(x= 0-17) drops down considerably from 515K for x = 0 to about 20K for compounds with high manganese concentration, and the compensation point was observed in a narrow range of x≈4-6. The rapid decrease of the magnetization shows that the manganese substitution is not a simple magnetic dilution to the transition-metal sublattice mo-ment, it indicates that the moment of Mn may be antiparallel to that of Fe. The field dependence of the magnetization of Dy2Fe17-xMnxC1.0 may indicate the existence of the nonlinear magnetic structure for the samples with high Mn conoentrations.  相似文献

The magnetostriction, magnetization, and spin reorientation properties in Pr(Ga_xFe_(1-x))_(1.9) alloys have been investigated by high-precision x-ray diffraction(XRD) step scanning, magnetization, and Mo¨ssbauer spectra measurements. Ga substitution reduces the magnetostriction(λ_(||)) with magnetic field H ≥ 8 kOe(1 Oe = 1.33322×10~2 Pa), but it also increases the λ|| value when H ≤ 8 kOe at 5 K. Spin-reorientations(SR) are observed in all the alloys investigated, as determined by the step scanned XRD, Mo¨ssbauer spectra, and the abnormal temperature dependence of magnetization. An increase of the spin reorientation temperature(T_(SR)) due to Ga substitution is found in the phase diagram, which is different from the decrease one in many R(T_x Fe_(1-x))_(1.9)(T = Co, Al, Mn) alloys. The present work provides a method to control the easy magnetization direction(EMD) or T_(SR) for developing an anisotropic compensation system.  相似文献

In this study, nanocrystalline Co–Ni–Mg ferrite powders with composition Co_(0.5)Ni_(0.5-x)Mg_xFe_2O_4 are successfully synthesized by the co-precipitation method. A systematic investigation on the structural, morphological and magnetic properties of un-doped and Mg-doped Co–Ni ferrite nanoparticles is carried out. The prepared samples are characterized using x-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM), and vibrating sample magnetometry(VSM). The XRD analyses of the synthesized samples confirm the formation of single-phase cubic spinel structures with crystallite sizes in a range of ~ 32 nm to ~ 36 nm. The lattice constant increases with increasing Mg content. FESEM images show that the synthesized samples are homogeneous with a uniformly distributed grain. The results of IR spectroscopy analysis indicate the formation of functional groups of spinel ferrite in the co-precipitation process. By increasing Mg2+substitution, room temperature magnetic measurement shows that maximum magnetization and coercivity increase from ~ 57.35 emu/g to~ 61.49 emu/g and ~ 603.26 Oe to~ 684.11 Oe(1 Oe = 79.5775 A·m-1), respectively. The higher values of magnetization Ms and Mr suggest that the optimum composition is Co_(0.5)N_(i0.4)Mg_(0.1)Fe_2O_4 that can be applied to high-density recording media and microwave devices.  相似文献

In this Letter, structural properties of liquid Ni20Al80 have been studied through molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, and results agree well with X-ray experiments. The prepeak in the structure factor manifests the existence of medium-range structural order (MRSO) in liquid Ni20Al80. Analyses in MRSO reveal the dominance of ideal icosahedra and defective icosahedra which, furthermore, form clusters and share common atoms.  相似文献
