The hydrides [MH(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] (M = Ru or Os) react with disubstituted acetylenes PhCCPh and PhCCMe to afford vinylic products [M{C(Ph)CHPh}(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] and [M{C(Ph)CHMe}(O2CCF3)(CO) (PPh3)2]/[M{C(Me)CHPh}(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] respectively. Acidolysis of these products with trifluoroacetic acid in cold ethanol liberates cis-stilbene and cis-PhHCCHMe respectively thus establishing the cis-stereochemistry of the vinylic ligands. The complexes [M(O2CCF3)2(CO)(PPh3)2] formed during the acidolysis step undergo facile alcoholysis followed by β-elimination of aldehyde to regenerate the parent hydrides [MH(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] and thereby complete a catalytic cycle for the transfer hydrogenation of acetylenes. The molecular structure of the methanol-adduct intermediate, [Ru(O2CCF3)2(MeOH)(CO)(PPh3)2] has been determined by X-ray methods and shows that the coordinated methanol is involved in H-bonding with the monodentate trifluoroacetate ligand [MEO-H---OC(O)CF3; O...O = 2.54 Å]. The hydrides [MH(O2CCF3)(CO) (PPh3)2]react with 1,4-diphenylbutadiyne to afford the complexes [M{C(CCPh)CHPh} (O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2]. The ruthenium product, which has also been obtained by treatment of [RuH(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] with phenylacetylene, has been shown by X-ray diffraction methods to contain a 1,4-diphenylbut-1-en-3-yn-2-yl ligand. The osmium complexes [Os(O2CCF3)2(CO)(PPh3)2], [OsH(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] and [Os{C(CCPh)CHPh}(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2] all serve as catalysts for the oligomerisation of phenylacetylene. Acetylene reacts with [Ru(O2CCF3)2(CO)(PPh3)2] in ethanol to afford the vinyl complex [Ru(CHCH2)(O2CCF3)(CO)(PPh3)2].  相似文献

Summary The syntheses of new dinuclear and mononuclear complexes of RuII trifluoroacetate containing monodentate co-ligands, namely [Ru2(-O2CCF3)4L2] (L = py, 2-Mepy or 3-Mepy); trans-[Ru(O2CCF3)2L4] (L = 2-Mepy or 3-Mepy); [Ru(O2CCF3)(PPh3)4](O2CCF3) and [Ru(O2CCF3)2(CO)(MPh3)3] (M = P or As), are described. The complexes have been characterized by physical and electrochemical studies.  相似文献

The complexes M(CO)2(PPh3)3 (I, M = Fe; II, M = Ru) readily react with H2 at room temperature and atmospheric pressure to give cis-M(H)2(CO)2(PPh3)2 (III, M = Fe;IV,M = Ru). I reacts with O2 to give an unstable compound in solution, in a type of reaction known to occur with II which leads to cis-Ru(O2)(CO)2(PPh3)2(V). Even compound IV reacts with O2 to give V with displacement of H2; this reaction has been shown to be reversible and this is the first case where the displacement of H2 by O2 and that of O2 by H2 at a metal center has been observed. III and IV are reduced to M(CO)3(PPh3)2 by CO with displacement of H2; Ru(CO)3- (PPh3)2 is also formed by treatment of IV with CO2, but under higher pressure. Compounds II and IV react with CH2CHCN to give Ru(CH2CHCN)(CO)2- (PPh3)2(VI) which reacts with H2 to reform the hydride IV.cis-Ru(H)2(CO)2(PPh3)2(IV) has been studied as catalyst in the hydrogenation and isomerization of a series of monoenes and dienes. The catalysts are poisoned by the presence of free triphenylphosphine. On the other hand the ready exchange of H2 and O2 on the “Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2” moiety makes IV a catalyst not irreversibly poisoned by the presence of air. It has been found that even Ru(CO)2(PPh3)3(II) acts as a catalyst for the isomerization of hex-1-ene at room temperature under an inert atmosphere.  相似文献

Reaction of [Ru(Me2SO)3(O2CCF3)2(H2O)] with triphenylphosphine and triphenylarsine gives complexes of the type [Ru(Me2SO)(O2CCF3)2(EPh3)2] (where E?=?P or As) in which there is a partial substitution of dimethylsulfoxide. Reaction with unidentate N donors resulted in [Ru(O2CCF3)2L4] (where L?=?pyridine, imidazole, benzimidazole); reaction with diimines yielded [Ru(L–L)3](O2CCF3)2 (where L–L?=?2,2′-bipyridyl, 1,10-phenanthroline). All complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductivity measurements, IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Perfluorocarboxylic acids (RFCOOH) (RF = CF3,C2F5 and (for Rh) C6F5) react with the species [M(NO)2(PPh3)2] (M = Ru, Os) and [M′(NO)(PPh3)3] (M′ = Rh, Ir) to yield new nitrosyl complexes [Ru(OCORF)3(NO)(PPh3)2], [OsH(OCORF)2(NO)(PPh3)2], [Os(OCORF)(NO)2(PPh3)2][OCORF], [Ir(OCORF)(NO)(PPh3)2][OCORF] and [Rh(OCORF)2(NO)(PPh3)2].  相似文献

Reaction of [MnBr(CO)3L] [L = Ph2POCH2CH2OPPh2, L1 , {(CH3)2CH}2POCH2CH2OP{CH(CH3)2}2, L2 ] with AgO3SCF3 and AgO2CCF3 in dichloromethane afforded the new complexes [Mn(O3SCF3)(CO)3L] and [Mn(O2CCF3)(CO)3L], respectively. Substitution of O3SCF3 resulted in the new species [Mn(SCN)(CO)3L], [Mn(NCCH3)(CO)3L](O3SCF3) and, in the case of L2 , [Mn(CN)(CO)3L2]. By contrast, any attempt to displace the O2CCF3 ligand in the same way was unsuccessful. After maintaining for some days the complex [Mn(CH3CN)(CO)3L1](O3SCF3) in dichloromethane at room temperature, the new complex [MnCl(CO)3L1] was formed. All the new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry and IR and NMR spectroscopies. In the case of [Mn(O3SCF3)(CO)3L1], [Mn(O2CCF3) (CO)3L1], [MnCl(CO)3L1], [Mn(CH3CN) (CO)3L2] (O3SCF3), [Mn(CN)(CO)3L2] and [Mn(O2CCF3)(CO)3L2], together with the previously synthesized complex [MnBr(CO)3L2], suitable crystals for X‐ray structural analysis were isolated. In all of them the Mn atom adopts six‐coordination by bonding to the three CO ligands, the two P atoms of L and either one C atom (CN), one oxygen atom (O2CCF3, O3SCF3), one N atom (CH3CN, SCN) or the halogen atom (Cl, Br).  相似文献

The reactions of K[HB(pz)3] (pz = pyrazol-1-yl) with the coordinatively unsaturated σ-vinyl complexes [Ru(CRCHR)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2] (R = H, Me, C6H5) proceed with loss of a chloride and a phosphine ligand to provide the compounds [Ru(CRCHR)(CO)(PPh3){HB(pz)3}] in high yield. Similar treatment of the complex [Ru(C6H4Me-4)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2] leads to the related σ-aryl derivative [Ru(C6H4Me-4)(CO)(PPh3){HB(pz)3}] whilst the complex [RuClH(CO)(PPh3)3] treated successively with diphenylbutadiyne and K[HB(pz)3] provides the unusual derivative [Ru{C(CCPh)CHPh}(CO)(PPh3){HB(pz)3}].  相似文献

Treatment of [Ru(PPh3)3Cl2] with one equivalent of tridentate Schiff base 2-[(2-dimethylamino-ethylimino)-methyl]-phenol (HL) in the presence of triethylamine afforded a ruthenium(III) complex [RuCl3(κ2-N,N-NH2CH2CH2NMe2)(PPh3)] as a result of decomposition of HL. Interaction of HL and one equivalent of [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)3], [Ru(CO)2Cl2] or [Ru(tht)4Cl2] (tht = tetrahydrothiophene) under different conditions led to isolation of the corresponding ruthenium(II) complexes [RuCl(κ3-N,N,O-L)(CO)(PPh3)] (2), [RuCl(κ3-N,N,O-L)(CO)2] (3), and a ruthenium(III) complex [RuCl2(κ3-N,N,O-L)(tht)] (4), respectively. Molecular structures of 1·CH2Cl2, 2·CH2Cl2, 3 and 4 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Tetracloro-o-benzoquinone reacts with (diphenylacetylene)bis(tirphenylphosphine)platinum(0) to give the novel platinum(II) diphenylacetylene complex, Pt(C6Cl4O2)PhCCPh)(PPh3), (I), which reacts with hydrogen halides to give the compelexes cis-PtX2(PhCCPh((PPh3), (X = Cl or Br). Hydrogen chloride also readily removes the tetrachloro-o-benzoquinoneligand from the adducts Ni(C6Cl4O2)(Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) and M(C6Cl4O2)(PPh3)2, (M = Pd or Pt) but it has no reaction upon Ir(Cl)(C6Cl4O2)(CO)(PPh3)2 at room temperature. The acetylene in (1) is susceptible to nucleophilic attact and reaction with diethylamine gives the vinyl adduct Pt(C6Cl4O2)(CPhCPh)NHEt2)(PPh3). Other reactions of (I) have also been studied. Attemps to prepare other olefin or acetylene complexes of platinum(II) by the action of tetrachlor-o-benzoquinone on the complexes Pt(L)(PPh3)2, (L = PhCCH,(Et)(Me)(HO)CCCC(OH)(Me)(Et), HOCH2OH, CF3CCCF3, CF2CF2, CF2CH2 or trans-PhCHCHPh) are also described.  相似文献

Neutral hydrido complexes [ML]ClH(PPh3)3 ([ML] = Ru(CO), Os(CO) and Ir(Cl)] react with thionitrosodimethylamine, Me2NNS, to give [ML]ClH-(SNNMe2)(PPh3)2 with H trans to Me2NNS, while the hydrido cations cis,trans-[[ML]H(SNNMe2)2(PPh3)2]+ are obtained from Me2NNS and [Ru(NCMe)2(CO)-(PPh3)2]+, [OsH(OH2)(CO)(PPh3)3]+ and [IrClH(NCMe)2(PPh3)2]+, respectively. The coordinatively unsaturated aryl complexes [ML′]Cl(p-tolyl)(PPh3)2 ([ML′]Ru(CO), Os(CO) and Os(CS)) coordinate one molecule of Me2NNS to give [ML′]Cl(p-tolyl)(SNNMe2)(PPh3)2, the chloride ligands of which are labile. Spectroscopic data suggest that in all these complexes the Me2NNS ligand adopts a η1(S) coordination mode.  相似文献

Summary Carbon monoxide reacts with the cationic dinitrosyls [M(NO)2(PPh3)2]+ (M = Rh, Ir) under ambient conditions to produce CO2, N2O and the tricarbonyl cations, (M(CO)3(PPh3)2]+. The cationic tricarbonyls are reconverted into the dinitrosyl reactants on treatment with NO atca. 80°. The Ru(NO)2(PPh3)2 and Os(NO)2(PPh3)2 complexes react similarly with CO but under more vigorous conditions whereas the corresponding dinitrosyls of cobalt and iron do not undergo this reaction under similar conditions. A pentacoordinate dinitrosyl intermediate [M(NO)2(CO)(PPh3)2]n+ is proposed and a mechanism for the catalytic oxidation of CO by NO is presented. Studies of Pt(N2O2)PPh3)2 establish that a dinitrogcn dioxide intermediate, produced by the coupling of two nitrosyl ligands, is reasonable.  相似文献

The reactions of [Ru(H)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)3] with 3,5-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone (dbq) and 3,4,5,6-tetrachloro-o-benzoquinone (tcq) have afforded the corresponding semiquinone complexes [RuII(dbsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] and [RuII(tcsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2], respectively. The reaction of [Ru(H)2(CO)(PPh3)3] with tcq has furnished [RuII(tcsq)(H)(CO)(PPh3)2]. Structure determination of [Ru(dbsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] has revealed that it is a model semiquinonoid chelate with two equal C---O lengths ( 1.291(6) and 1.296(6) Å). The complexes are one-electron paramagnetic (1.85μB) and their EPR spectra in fluid media display a triplet structure (g2.00) due to superhyperfine coupling with two trans-31P atoms (Aiso17 G). The stretching frequency of the CO ligand increases by 20 cm−1 in going from [Ru(dbsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] to [Ru(tcsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] consistent with electron withdrawal by chloro substituents. For the same reason the E1/2 values of the cyclic voltammetric quinone/semiquinone and semiquinone/catechol couples undergo a shift of 500 mV to higher potentials between [Ru(dbsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] and [Ru(tcsq)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2].  相似文献

Two stable thiazolylazo anion radical complexes of ruthenium(II), [Ru(L1•−)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] (1) and [Ru(L2•−)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2] (2) (where L1 = 2′-Thiazolylazo-2-imidazole and L2 = 4-(2′-Thiazolylazo)-1-n-hexadecyloxy-naphthalene), have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques. The radical nature of the complexes has been confirmed from their room temperature magnetic moments and X-band ESR spectra. The radical complexes display a moderately intense (ε ~ 104 M−1 cm−1) and relatively broad band in 430–460 nm region. In the microcrystalline state, complexes (1) and (2) display strong ESR signals at g = 1.951 and g = 1.988, respectively. In CH2Cl2 solution, complexes (1) and (2) show a quasireversible one-electron response near −0.64 and −0.59 V, respectively, versus Ag/AgCl due to the radical redox couple [RuII(L)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2]/[RuII (L•−)(Cl)(CO)(PPh3)2].  相似文献

Mixed‐ligands hydride complexes [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)2{P(OR)3}] ( 2 ) (R = Me, Et) were prepared by allowing [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)3] ( 1 ) to react with an excess of phosphites P(OR)3 in refluxing benzene. Treatment of hydrides 2 first with triflic acid and next with an excess of hydrazine afforded hydrazine complexes [RuCl(CO)(κ1‐NH2NHR1)(PPh3)2{P(OR)3}]BPh4 ( 3 , 4 ) (R1 = H, CH3). Diethylcyanamide derivatives [RuCl(CO)(N≡CNEt2)(PPh3)2{P(OR)3}]BPh4 ( 5 ) were also prepared by reacting 2 first with HOTf and then with N≡CNEt2. The complexes were characterized spectroscopically and by X‐ray crystal structure determination of [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)2{P(OEt)3}] ( 2b ).  相似文献

Thiocyanogen and selenocyanogen react with Ru(CO)3(PPh3)2 to give respectively the complexes Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2(NCS)2 and Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2(NCSe)2. (M—NCS and M—SCN represent N- and S-thiocyanato groups, M—NCSe and M—SeCN represent N- and Se-selenocyanato groups respectively, while M—CNS indicates the bridging coordination mode of thiocyanate.) Only the thiocyanogen reacts with Ru3(CO)12 giving [Ru(CO)2(CNS)2]n, which dissolves in hot coordinating solvents, such as pyridine, to form Ru(CO)2(py)2(NCS)2. Selenocyanogen is less effective than thiocyanogen in the oxidative addition reactions with rhodium(I) and iridium(I) complexes; in fact selenocyanogen does not react with Rh(CO)(PPh3)2Cl while with Ir(CO)(PPh3)2Cl the former gives Ir(CO)(PPh3)2(SeCN)2Cl by an equilibrium reaction. The coordination number of the metal and the charge on the complex do not change the bonding mode of the thiocyanate and selenocyanate groups in the iridium(III) complexes; in the Ir(PPh3)2ClX2 and [Ir(Ph2PC2H4PPh2)2X2]+ (X = SCN and SeCN) complexes the pseudohalogens are S- and Se-bonded.The complexes trans-M(PPh3)2(SeCN)2 (M = Pd, Pt) have been obtained by reacting M(PPh3)4 with selenocyanogen.  相似文献

RuHCl(CO)2(PPh3)2 reacts with ethylene under mild conditions (25 psi, 80°C) to yield a propionyl derivative RuCl(C[O]C2H5)(CO)(PPh3)2 which is believed to be coordinatively unsaturated. Unlike the acetyl analogue, RuCl[C[O]C2H5(CO)-(PPh3)2 does not isomerize to RuCl(C2H5)(CO)2(PPh3)2 in solution. Under one atmosphere of carbon monoxide, RuCl(C[O]C2H5(CO)(PPh3)2 exists in equilibrium with two species believed to be RuCl(C[O]C2H5)(CO)2(PPh3)2 and [Ru(C[O]C2H5)(CO)3(PPh3)2]Cl. RuCl(C[O]C2H5)(CO)(PPh3)2 reacts with CO/ AgClO4 to give mer-[Ru(C[O]C2H5)(CO)3(PPh3)2]ClO4, p-tolylisocyanide (RNC) and NaClO4 to give cis-[Ru(C[O]C2H5)(CO)(CNR)2(PPh3)2ClO4, and hydrochloric acid to yield the hydroxycarbene complex, RuCl2(CO)(C[OH]C2H5)(PPh3)2.  相似文献

A series of new ruthenium(II) vinyl complexes has been prepared incorporating perylenemonoimide (PMI) units. This fluorogenic moiety was functionalised with terminal alkyne or pyridyl groups, allowing attachment to the metal either as a vinyl ligand or through the pyridyl nitrogen. The inherent low solubility of the perylene compounds was improved through the design of poly-PEGylated (PEG=polyethylene glycol) units bearing a terminal alkyne or a pyridyl group. By absorbing the compounds on silica, vapours and gases could be detected in the solid state. The reaction of the complexes [Ru(CH=CH-PerIm)Cl(CO)(py-3PEG)(PPh3)2] and [Ru(CH=CH-3PEG)Cl(CO)(py-PerIm)(PPh3)2] with carbon monoxide, isonitrile or cyanide was found to result in modulation of the fluorescence behaviour. The complexes were observed to display solvatochromic effects and the interaction of the complexes with a wide range of other species was also studied. The study suggests that such complexes have potential for the detection of gases or vapours that are toxic to humans.  相似文献

Reaction of Cy3PCS2 (Cy = cyclohexyl) with the hydrido complexes [RuClH(CA)(PPh3)3] (A  O, S), [RuH(CO)(NCMe)2(PPh3)2]+, and [RuH(OClO3)(CO)(CNtBu)(PPh3)2] leads to the complex cations [RuH(CA)(PPh3)22-S2CPCy3)]+, [Ru(η2-S2CHPCy3)(CO) (PPh3)2]+, [RuH(η1-S2CPCy3)(CO)(CNtBu)(PPh3)2]+. The σ-vinyl complex [Ru(CHCHC6H4Me-4)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2] reacts with Cy3PCS2 to give the cationic complex [Ru(CHCHC6H4Me-4) (CO)(PPh3)22-S2CPCy3)]+, but this complex is not formed by hydroruthenation of HCCC6H4Me-4 by [RuH(CO)(PPh3)22-S2CPCy3)]+. The inter-relationships between the above complexes are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ru(CO)2(PPh3)3] (1) with o-styryldiphenylphophine (SP) (2) gave [Ru(CO)2(PPh3)(SP)] (3) in 83% yield. This styrylphosphine ruthenium complex 3 can also be synthesized by the reaction of [Ru(p-MeOC6H4NN)(CO)2(PPh3)2]BF4 (4) with NaBH4 and 2 in 50% yield. When “Ru(CO)(PPh3)3” generated by the reaction of [RuH2(CO)(PPh3)3] (8) with trimethylvinylsilane reacted with 2, [Ru(CO)(PPh3)2(SP)] (10) was produced in moderate yield as an air sensitive solid. The spectral and X-ray data of these complexes revealed that the coordination geometries around the ruthenium center of both complexes corresponded to a distorted trigonal bipyramid with the olefin occupying the equatorial position and the C-C bonding in the olefin moiety in 3 and 10 contained a significant contribution from a ruthenacyclopropane limiting structure. Complexes 3 and 10 showed catalytic activity for the hydroamination of phenylacetylene 11 with aniline 12. Ruthenium complex 3 in the co-presence of NH4PF6 or H3PW12O40 proves to be a superior catalyst system for this hydroamination reaction. In the case of the reaction using H3PW12O40 as an additive, ketimines (13) was obtained in 99% yield at a ruthenium-catalyst loading of 0.1 mol%. Some aniline derivatives such as 4-methoxy, 4-trifluoromethyl-, and 4-bromoanilines can also be used in this hydroamination reaction.  相似文献
