The present study is devoted to the elaboration and investigation of a composite material based on mechanically grinded recycled tires and a polymer binder. The correlation between the content of the binder, some technological parameters, and material properties of the composite was clarified. The apparent density, the compressive stress at a 10% strain, the compressive elastic modulus in static and cyclic loadings, and the insulating properties (acoustic and thermal) were the parameters of special interest of the present investigation. It is found that a purposeful variation of material composition and some technological parameters leads to multifunctional composite materials with different and predictable mechanical and insulation properties. The results of tests on polypropylene specimens under conditions of low-frequency cyclic and static loading are compared. It is shown that as compared with static tests, there is an increase in longevity and a reduction in overall deformation under low-frequency cyclic loadings.  相似文献

Within the framework of a unified mathematical model based on the Markov chain theory, an attempt is made to describe the distribution of static strength, the fatigue curve, and the accumulation of fatigue damages. It is assumed that the fatigue failure of a test specimen occurs after the destruction of some its critical microvolume consisting of two — elastic (brittle fibers) and plastic (matrix) — parts. In the second part, plastic strains accumulate as soon as the cyclic load exceeds some level. We show undecidability for lattices over a group ring where has a cyclic subgroup of order for some odd prime . Then we discuss the decision problem for -lattices where is a cyclic group of order 8, and we point out that a positive answer implies – in some sense – the solution of the “wild undecidable” conjecture. Complex formalism of Riemann–Silberstein–Majorana–Oppenheimer in Maxwell electrodynamics is extended to the case of arbitrary pseudo-Riemannian space-time in accordance with the tetrad recipe of Tetrode–Weyl–Fock–Ivanenko. In this approach, the Maxwell equations are solved exactly on the background of static cosmological Einstein model, parameterized by special cylindrical coordinates and realized as a Riemann space of constant positive curvature. A discrete frequency spectrum for electromagnetic modes depending on the curvature radius of space and three parameters is found, and corresponding basis electromagnetic solutions have been constructed explicitly. In the case of elliptical model a part of the constructed solutions should be rejected by continuity considerations. Similar treatment is given for the Maxwell equations in hyperbolic Lobachevsky model, the complete basis of electromagnetic solutions in corresponding cylindrical coordinates has been constructed as well, no quantization of frequencies of electromagnetic modes arises.  相似文献

Kiers (Psychometrika 56:197–212, 1991) considered the orthogonal rotation in PCAMIX, a principal component method for a mixture of qualitative and quantitative variables. PCAMIX includes the ordinary principal component analysis and multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) as special cases. In this paper, we give a new presentation of PCAMIX where the principal components and the squared loadings are obtained from a Singular Value Decomposition. The loadings of the quantitative variables and the principal coordinates of the categories of the qualitative variables are also obtained directly. In this context, we propose a computationally efficient procedure for varimax rotation in PCAMIX and a direct solution for the optimal angle of rotation. A simulation study shows the good computational behavior of the proposed algorithm. An application on a real data set illustrates the interest of using rotation in MCA. This contribution presents ideas, how composite materials can be characterized with respect to experimental testing. The material properties of the investigated short glass fiber reinforced polymer are obtained by providing results from the experiment in order to seperate different material effects, such as elasticity, plasticity, damage, viscoelasticity, compressibility and anisotropy. Therefore, at first, linear uniaxial tensile tests with cyclic loadings have been realized. The application of the material in this work is the machining by a three-dimensional forming process. Hence, multiaxial loadings have to be additionally taken into account matching these conditions. In order to provide more information, biaxial tensile tests have to be realized using a testing device supplying the additional necessary experimental data [1, 2]. A final aim of this work is to develope a verification experiment representing the three-dimensional forming process as realistically as possible, e. g. a Nakajima test [4]. For this case, a three-dimensional optical analysis in order to get the necessary measurement data, is indispensable to realize an inverse method [3] by comparing the information of the complete deformation field as well as the force data of the experiment using a given material model. The results of a comprehensive test program for the mechanical behavior of round concrete specimens confined by carbon-fiber epoxy tapes and prestressed carbon yarns are reported. Five different concrete batches of compressive strength from 20 to 100 MPa and the confinement of various thickness and pretension level were investigated. The specimens, which were subjected to monotonic or repeated compressive loadings, showed a nonlinear stress-strain behavior with a significant ductility and increased ultimate strength, in contrary to the brittle behavior of plain concrete. The limit of linearity on the stress-strain diagrams of the confined concrete roughly coincided with the ultimate strength of plain concrete. Above this limit, the damage accumulation and plastic deformations proceeded in the confined specimens. This fact was evidenced by the increasing slope of deformation diagrams in unloadings and repeated loadings and by the pronounced residual strains. The limit of linearity could be raised significantly by pretension of the carbon yarns during their winding. We study contact manifolds that arise as cyclic branched coversof transverse knots in the standard contact 3-sphere. We discussproperties of these contact manifolds and describe them in termsof open books and contact surgeries. In many cases we show thatsuch branched covers are contactomorphic for smoothly isotopictransverse knots with the same self-linking number. These pairsof knots include most of the nontransversely simple knots ofBirman–Menasco and Ng–Ozsváth–Thurston.  相似文献

This paper aims to investigate the effect of microstructure parameters (such as the cross-sectional shape of fibers and fiber volume fraction) on the stress–strain behavior of unidirectional composites subjected to off-axis loadings. A micromechanical model with a periodic microstructure is used to analyze a representative volume element. The fiber is linearly elastic, but the matrix is nonlinear. The Bodner–Partom model is used to characterize the nonlinear response of the fiber-reinforced composites. The analytical results obtained show that the flow stress of composites with square fibers is higher than with circular or elliptic ones. The difference in the elastoplastic response, which is affected by the fiber shape, can be disregarded if the fiber volume fraction is smaller than 0.15. Furthermore, the effect of fiber shape on the stress–strain behavior of the composite can be ignored if the off-axis loading angle is smaller than 30°.  相似文献

We study the Bers isomorphism between the Teichmüller space of the parabolic cyclic group and the universal Teichmüller curve. We prove that this is a group isomorphism and its derivative map gives a remarkable relation between Fourier coefficients of cusp forms and Fourier coefficients of vector fields on the unit circle. We generalize the Takhtajan–Zograf metric to the Teichmüller space of the parabolic cyclic group, and prove that up to a constant, it coincides with the pull back of the Velling–Kirillov metric defined on the universal Teichmüller curve via the Bers isomorphism.   相似文献

In this paper, we prove that there is a natural equivalence between the category F1(x) of Koszul modules of complexity 1 with filtration of given cyclic modules as the factor modules of an exterior algebra A = ∧V of an m-dimensional vector space, and the category of the finite-dimensional locally nilpotent modules of the polynomial algebra of m - 1 variables.  相似文献

It has been shown by Nistor (Doc Math J DMV 2:263–295, 1997) that given any extension of associative algebras over \mathbb C{\mathbb C}, the connecting morphism in periodic cyclic homology is compatible, under the Chern–Connes character, with the index morphism in lower algebraic K-theory. The proof relies on the abstract properties of cyclic theory, essentially excision, which does not provide explicit formulas a priori. Avoiding the use of excision, we explain in this article how to get explicit formulas in a wide range of situations. The method is connected to the renormalization procedure introduced in our previous work on the bivariant Chern character for quasihomomorphisms Perrot (J Geom Phys 60:1441–1473, 2010), leading to “local” index formulas in the sense of non-commutative geometry. We illustrate these principles with the example of the classical family index theorem: we find that the characteristic numbers of the index bundle associated to a family of elliptic pseudodifferential operators are expressed in terms of the (fiberwise) Wodzicki residue.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to prove by a perturbation method the existence of solutions of the coupled Einstein–Dirac equations for a static, spherically symmetric system of two fermions in a singlet spinor state. We relate the solutions of our equations to those of the nonlinear Choquard equation and we show that the nondegenerate solution of Choquard’s equation generates solutions of the Einstein–Dirac equations.  相似文献

In (Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 33:385–390, 2001) Bican, Bashir and Enochs finally solved a long standing conjecture in module theory that all modules over a unitary ring have a flat cover. The only substantial work on covers of acts over monoids seems to be that of Isbell (Semigroup Forum 2:95–118, 1971), Fountain (Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc. (2) 20:87–93, 1976) and Kilp (Semigroup Forum 53:225–229, 1996) who only consider projective covers. To our knowledge the situation for flat covers of acts has not been addressed and this paper is an attempt to initiate such a study. We consider almost exclusively covers of cyclic acts and restrict our attention to strongly flat and condition (P) covers. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of such covers and for a monoid to have the property that all its cyclic right acts have a strongly flat cover (resp. (P)-cover). We give numerous classes of monoids that satisfy these conditions and we also show that there are monoids that do not satisfy this condition in the strongly flat case. We give a new necessary and sufficient condition for a cyclic act to have a projective cover and provide a new proof of one of Isbell’s classic results concerning projective covers. We show also that condition (P) covers are not unique, unlike the situation for projective covers.  相似文献

A graph G is one-regular if its automorphism group Aut(G) acts transitively and semiregularly on the arc set. A Cayley graph Cay(Г, S) is normal if Г is a normal subgroup of the full automorphism group of Cay(Г, S). Xu, M. Y., Xu, J. (Southeast Asian Bulletin of Math., 25, 355-363 (2001)) classified one-regular Cayley graphs of valency at most 4 on finite abelian groups. Marusic, D., Pisanski, T. (Croat. Chemica Acta, 73, 969-981 (2000)) classified cubic one-regular Cayley graphs on a dihedral group, and all of such graphs turn out to be normal. In this paper, we classify the 4-valent one-regular normal Cayley graphs G on a dihedral group whose vertex stabilizers in Aut(G) are cyclic. A classification of the same kind of graphs of valency 6 is also discussed.  相似文献

为了尽可能有效和准确地描述混凝土材料的非线性力学特性,在研究国内外混凝土损伤本构模型的基础上,基于连续介质损伤力学和不可逆热力学的理论框架,采用统一强度理论作为屈服破坏准则,分别定义拉、压双标量损伤来考虑材料的拉、压迥异特性,同时引入反向加载影响因子以修正拉压交替循环加载时材料的单边效应,以及多轴应力状态下拉、压损伤累积的相互影响,最终采用显式积分算法建立了一种改进的混凝土弹塑性损伤本构模型.不同素混凝土加载试验模拟结果初步验证了建议模型的有效性,而通过对含I型裂缝的混凝土简支梁试验进行数值分析,结果表明,所得的荷载 挠度曲线与试验结果吻合良好,进一步检验了模型应用于结构非线性分析的有效性.  相似文献
