Seven new acylated oleanane-type triterpene oligoglycosides, theasaponins A(4) (1), A(5) (2), C(1) (3), E(8) (4), E(9) (5), G(1) (6), and H(1) (7), were isolated from the seeds of Japanese tea plant (Camellia sinensis). The saponin fraction from the fresh leaves of Euiptelea polyandra Sieb. et Zucc. was found to exhibit potent gastroprotective activity. Fourteen new nortriterpene saponins called eupteleasaponins were isolated from the saponin fraction with gastroprotective activity. The methanolic extract from the fruit of Citrullus colocynthis showed an inhibitory effect on ear passive cutaneous anaphylaxis reactions as a type I allergic model in mice. From the methanolic extract, two new cucurbitane-type triterpene glycosides, colocynthosides A and B, were isolated together with 17 known constituents. The structures of colocynthosides A and B were elucidated on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence. In addition, the principal cucurbitane-type triterpene glycoside, cucurbitacin E 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, and its aglycon, cucurbitacin E, exhibited the antiallergic activity at a dose of 100 and 1.25 mg/kg, p.o., respectively.  相似文献

The saponin fraction from the seeds of the tea plant [Camellia sinensis (L.) O. KUNTZE (Theaceae)] was found to exhibit potent protective effects on ethanol- and indomethacin-induced gastric mucosal lesions in rats. Five new triterpene saponins, theasaponins E3 (1), E4 (2), E5 (3), E6 (4), and E7 (5), were isolated together with 11 known saponins from the saponin fraction. The chemical structures of 1-5 were elucidated on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence. Among the isolated saponins, theasaponins E1 (6), E2 (7), and E5 (3) and assamsaponin C (10) showed an inhibitory effect on ethanol-induced gastric mucosal lesions at a dose of 5.0 mg/kg, p.o. and their activities were stronger than that of omeplazole. With regard to the structure-activity relationships of theasaponins, the following structural requirements for a protective effect on ethanol-induced gastric lesions were suggested; 1) the 21- and/or 22-acyl groups are essential for the activity, 2) acetylation of the 16-hydroxyl group reduce the activity.  相似文献

Two new triterpene saponins, albidosides H (1) and I (2), along with the three known saponins were isolated from the barks of Acacia albida. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive 1D- and 2D-NMR studies and mass spectrometry. Six new minor saponins, together with known ginsenosides, were isolated from the leaves of Panax ginseng. The new saponins were named as ginsenoside-Rh5, -Rh6, -Rh7 -Rh8, -Rh9 and -Rg7, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence to be as follows: ginsenoside-Rh5: 3beta,6alpha,12beta,24zeta-tetrahydroxy-dammar-20(22),25-diene 6-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1), -Rh6: 3beta,6alpha12beta,20(S)-tetrahydroxy-25-hydroperoxy-dammar-23-ene 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2), -Rh7: 3beta,7beta,12beta,20(S)-tetrahydroxy-dammar-5,24-diene 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), -Rh8: 3beta,6alpha,20(S)-trihydroxy-dammar-24-ene-12-one 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4), -Rh9: 3beta,6alpha,20(S)-trihydroxy-12beta,23-epoxy-dammar-24-ene 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (5) and -Rg7: 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl 3beta,12beta,20(S),24(R)-tetrahydroxy-dammar-25-ene 20-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (6).  相似文献

The methanolic extract from the flower buds of Chinese tea plant (Camellia sinensis (L.) O. KUNTZE) was found to inhibit release of beta-hexosaminidase from RBL-2H3 cells. From the methanolic extract, six new acylated oleanane-type triterpene oligoglycosides, floratheasaponins D-I, were isolated together with 21 known compounds including floratheasaponins A-C. The chemical structures of floratheasaponins D-I were elucidated on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence. The principal constituents, floratheasaponins A-F, were found to show the inhibitory activity on the release of beta-hexosaminidase from RBL-2H3 cells.  相似文献

From the EtOAc and 1-BuOH fractions, three new ursane-type and four new lupane-type triterpenes, along with nine known glycosides and glycosyl esters of lupane-type were isolated from the leaves of Schefflera actinophylla. All the isolated compounds were obtained for the first time from this plant. Following the investigation of assamsaponins A, B, C, D, and E, four new saponins termed assamsaponins F, G, H, and I were isolated from the seeds of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis L. var. assamica PIERRE), while assamsaponin J was isolated from its leaves. The saponin mixture from the seeds of the tea plant was found to exhibit an inhibitory effect on gastric emptying and an accelerating effect on gastrointestinal transit in mice. Theasaponin E1 the principle saponin of the tea plant, showed potent activity, while theasaponin E2 showed none, so that the position of the acyl groups in the sapogenin moiety is important from a pharmacological point of view.  相似文献

Following the elucidation of jujubosides A1 and C and acetyljujuboside B, novel protojujubogenin type triterpene bisdesmosides, protojujubosides A, B, and B1, were isolated from Zizyphi Spinosi Semen, the seeds of Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. spinosa Hu. The structures of protojujubosides A, B, and B1 were determined on the basis of chemical and physicochemical evidence, which included the conversion of protojujubosides to known jujubosides using enzymatic hydrolysis. Four compounds named orizabin I, II, III and IV, which are ether-soluble and correspond to the so-called resin glycoside “jalapin” were isolated, for the first time, from the root of Ipomoea orizabensis (Convoi vul aceae). Unlike the presumption advocated by Mannich and Schumann for the ether-insoluble glycoside “convoivulin” from I. purgá, all of them were respectively a monomer of hydroxyfatty acid oligoglycoside in which the sugar moiety is partially acylated by organic acids and also combines with the car☐y group of the aglycone to form a macrocyclic ester. Their isolation in a pure state was successfully achieved by a high resolution preparative HPLC in the final step. The structures were determined on the basis of chemical and spectral data and regarded to represent those of genuine ingredients.  相似文献
