The equations of Ying and Truell, and Waterman and Truell, describing the propagation of ultrasound in two-phase materials are solved numerically for porous solids, and are found to give unphysical results for high porosity. The Saha equation for a plasma in thermodynamic equilibrium (TE) is approximately solved to give the temperature as an explicit function of population densities. It is shown that the derived expressions for the Saha temperature are valid approximations to the exact solution. Decoherence process in quantum mechanical entangled spin states is formulated and solved on the basis of a generalized Coleman-Hepp model and a boson detector model. These models are exactly solved to give reduced density matrices and the von Neumann entropy. We present a model where the phase of a wave front is obtained by processing the intensity of speckle field pattern. By using the light propagation equation and knowing the intensity of the wavefront it is possible to build a system of linear equations which can be solved to give the wanted phase information. The linearized Ginzburg-Landau equation is solved exactly for a superconducting ring with an arbitrary number of dangling branches and transport currents. It is shown that dangling branches always enhance superconductivity. Finite port lengths couple the injected superfluid velocity to the circulating superfluid velocity which give rise to alternating normal and superconducting regions for certain temperature ranges as the magnetic field is varied.  相似文献

The approach to symmetries given by Kerr and Debney (1970) is applied to the class of vacuum Robinson-Trautman solutions. The coordinate freedom is extended and used to define the pull-backs of local diffeomorphisms which are then shown to be homothetic motions. 本文采用大涡模拟的方法,对二维槽道湍流流动进行了数值模拟。采用Chorin的分步投影法求解大尺度涡运动的Navier-Stokes方程,小尺度涡采用三种亚格子(SGS)模式分别模拟,给出了不同亚格子涡粘性模式下的模拟结果。对固壁面采用了壁函数。模拟结果再现了二维槽道流动拟序结构的发展演变过程。通过对不同入口速度下的瞬态流场的比较,揭示了入口速度分布对流场的影响。  相似文献

本文发展了一种离散涡模型,模拟了在高声强声波作用下圆孔处发生的涡脱落过程。进而计算了圆孔中的声质点速度,并分析了孔中速度的畸变情况、最后给出了圆孔的非线性声阻和声抗的理论值。非线性声抗的理论预测是现有的研究圆孔声学非线性效应的准稳态模型没有满意解决的问题,因而所做的有关尝试是本文工作的特点之一。  相似文献

The boundary problem for a semi-infinite magnetic medium with arbitrary orientation of the magnetization vector is solved and polarization-and intensity-related characteristics of the reflected light wave are analyzed. It is shown that variations of the angle of incidence and of the orientation of the magnetization and polarization plane substantially affect the polarization characteristics of the reflected wave and give rise to specific features of the dependences under study.  相似文献

The Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equation in Minkowski space for scalar particles is solved for a kernel given by a sum of ladder and cross-ladder exchanges. The solution of corresponding light-front (LF) equation, where we add the time-ordered stretched boxes, is also obtained. Cross-ladder contributions are found to be very large and attractive, whereas the influence of stretched boxes is negligible. Both approaches --BS and LF-- give very close results.  相似文献

A stress function method is presented in order to give a general solution of the incompatibility problem of three-dimensional linear anisotropic elasticity theory. A relation between the internal stress tensor in terms of derivatives of a sixth-order stress function tensor will be derived. Using this formulation the so far open problem of the representation of the second-order stress function tensor by the fourth-order stress function tensor in anisotropic elasticity theory is solved in general.  相似文献

A quantum mechanical laser model with relaxation and pumping mechanisms is solved rigorously. A basic equation for the density matrix is derived by the damping theory and is transformed into a corresponding c-number equation for a (quasi-) probability density. This is done with the aid of the quantum phase space method. The probability density is expanded in terms of orthogonal polynomials. The expansion coefficients are solved to give a continued fraction. A complete solution is obtained, namely, time evolution of the probability density is determined as well as that for certain physical quantities. The solution is valid even for strong coupling between photons and atoms: it is free from restriction on system parameters. Detailed studies on dynamics are performed for typical values of the system parameters. This is a prototype of interacting quantum nonequilibrium systems. Relevance to systems other than a laser is briefly mentioned.  相似文献

We classify all spacetimes with a closed rank-2 conformal Killing–Yano tensor. They give a generalization of Kerr–NUT–de Sitter spacetimes. The Einstein condition is explicitly solved and written as an indefinite integral. It is characterized by a polynomial in the integrand. We briefly discuss the smoothness conditions of the Einstein metrics over compact Riemannian manifolds.  相似文献
