In this paper, the existence and the uniqueness of the local generalized solution and the local classical solution of the Cauchy problem for the generalized BBM-Burgers equationare proved. The existence and the uniqueness of the global generalized solution and the global classical solution for the Cauchy problem of equation (1) are proved when n = 3, 2, 1. Herein we consider the existence of solutions to second-order, two-point boundary value problems (BVPs) for systems of ordinary differential inclusions. Some new Bernstein-Nagumo conditions are presented that ensure a priori bounds on the derivative of solutions to the differential inclusion. These a priori bound results are then applied, in conjunction with appropriate topological methods, to prove some new existence theorems for solutions to systems of BVPs for differential inclusions. The new conditions allow of the treatment of systems of BVPs without growth restrictions.  相似文献

This work focuses on the existence and stability of positive quasi-periodic solutions for the 3-dimensional Lotka-Volterra system. Using KAM (Kolmogorov-Arnold-Moser) theory and Newton iteration, it is shown that there exists a positive quasi-periodic solution in a Cantor family for the 3-dimensional Lotka-Volterra system. On the above basis, we can show the stability of the solution with the help of Lyapunov function.  相似文献

In this paper we present a general existence result of periodic solutions for functional differential inclusions with nonconvex right hand sides, by using the asymptotic fixed point theory. In our result, the uniform boundedness and ultimate boundedness are only assumed to the solutions with bounded initial functions. On the other hand, the dissipativity is sought on a suitable bounded convex subset of the state space of solutions. This becomes difficult for the systems with infinite delay since in this case the subset is probably not forward invariant for the orbits of solutions. These are also considerable even for the usual functional differential equations with infinite delay. As an application, we answer an open problem on the existence of an equilibrium state for multivalued permanent systems.  相似文献

In this paper, a new operator splitting scheme is introduced for the numerical solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. Under some mild regularity assumptions on the PDE solution, the stability of the scheme is presented, and error estimates for the velocity and the pressure of the proposed operator splitting scheme are given.  相似文献

This paper investigates the existence of periodic solutions of a three-species food-chain diffusive system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional responses and time delays in a two-patch environment on time scales. By using a continuation theorem based on coincidence degree theory, we obtain sufficient criteria for the existence of periodic solutions for the system. Moreover, when the time scale T is chosen as R or Z, the existence of the periodic solutions of the corresponding continuous and discrete models follows. Therefore, the method is unified to provide the existence of the desired solutions for continuous differential equations and discrete difference equations.  相似文献

In the first part of this paper we define solutions for certain nonlinear equations defined by accretive operators, “dissipative solution”. This kind of solution is equivalent to the viscosity solutions for Hamilton-Jacobi equations and to the entropy solutions for conservation laws.In this paper we use dissipative solutions to obtain several relaxation limits for systems of semilinear transport equations and quasilinear conservation laws. These converge to diffusion second-order equations and in one case to a single conservation law. The relaxation limit is obtained using a version of the perturbed test function method to pass to the limit. This guarantees existence for the considered equations.  相似文献

It is well known that a scalar differential equation , where f(t,x) is continuous, T-periodic in t and weakly convex or concave in x has no, one or two T-periodic solutions or a connected band of T-periodic solutions. The last possibility can be excluded if f(t,x) is strictly convex or concave for some t in the period interval. In this paper we investigate how the actual number of T-periodic solutions for a given equation of this type in principle can be determined, if f(t,x) is also assumed to have a continuous derivative . It turns out that there are three cases. In each of these cases we indicate the monotonicity properties and the domain of values for the function P(ξ)=S(ξ)−ξ, where S(ξ) is the Poincaré successor function. From these informations the actual number of periodic solutions can be determined, since a zero of P(ξ) represents a periodic solution.  相似文献

Structure of least-energy solutions to singularly perturbed semilinear Dirichlet problem ε²Δu - u^α + g(u) = 0 in Ω,u = 0 on ∂Ω, Ω ⊂ ⋅R^N a bounded smooth domain, is precisely studied as ε → 0^+, for 0 < α < 1 and a superlinear, subcritical nonlinearity g(u).
