The 2D CuII metal‐organic framework [Cu2(bptc)(H2O)4]n · 4nH2O ( 1 ) (H4bptc = biphenyl‐2,2′,4,4′‐tetracarboxylic acid) was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. In the structure, bptc4– serves as a twisted Π‐shaped organic building block to connect paddlewheel [Cu2(COO)4] dinuclear units and mononuclear units through 2‐/2′‐carboxylate and 4‐/4′‐carboxylate, respectively. According to the magnetic analysis using a dimer‐plus‐monomer model, strong antiferromagnetic coupling is operative within the dinuclear unit (J = –311 cm–1 based on H = –J S 1 S 2), and the compound behaves like a mononuclear molecule at low temperature.  相似文献

The new bifunctional ligand 4,4′‐(adamantane‐1,3‐diyl)bis(1,2,4‐triazole) (tr2ad) and benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxylate sustain complementary coordination bridging for the three‐dimensional framework of poly[[bis[μ3‐4,4′‐(adamantane‐1,3‐diyl)bis(1,2,4‐triazole)‐κ3N1:N2:N1′]bis(μ4‐benzene‐1,3,5‐tricarboxylato‐κ4O1:O1′:O3:O5)di‐μ3‐hydroxido‐κ6O:O:O‐tetracopper(II)] dihydrate], {[Cu4(C9H3O6)2(OH)2(C14H18N6)2]·2H2O}n. The net node is a centrosymmetric (μ3‐OH)2Cu4 cluster [Cu—O = 1.9525 (14)–2.0770 (15) Å and Cu...Cu = 3.0536 (5) Å] involving two independent copper ions in tetragonal pyramidal CuO4N and trigonal bipyramidal CuO3N2 environments. One carboxylate group of the anion is bridging and the other two are monodentate, leading to the connection of three hydroxide clusters and the generation of neutral coordination layers separated by 9.3583 (5) Å. The interlayer linkage is effected by μ3‐tr2ad ligands, with one triazole group N1:N2‐bridging and the second monodentate [Cu—N = 1.9893 (19), 2.010 (2) and 2.411 (2) Å]. In total, the hydroxide clusters are linked to six close neighbors within the carboxylate layer and to four neighbors via tr2ad bridges. Hydrogen bonding of solvent water molecules to noncoordinated triazole N atoms and carboxylate groups provides two additional links for the net, which adopts a 12‐connected topology corresponding to hexagonal closest packing. The study also introduces a new type of bis(triazole) ligand, which may find wider applications for supramolecular synthesis.  相似文献

Abstract. Two bis‐triazole‐bis‐amide‐based copper(II) pyridine‐2,3‐dicarboxylate coordination polymers (CPs), [Cu(2,3‐pydc)(dtb)0.5(DMF)] · 2H2O ( 1 ) and [Cu(2,3‐pydc)(dth)0.5(DMF)] · 2H2O ( 2 ) (2,3‐H2pydc = pyridine‐2,3‐dicarboxylic acid, dtb = N,N′‐bis(4H‐1,2,4‐triazole)butanamide, and dth = N,N′‐bis(4H‐1,2,4‐triazole)hexanamide), were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. CPs 1 and 2 show similar two‐dimensional (2D) structures. In 1 , the 2,3‐pydc anions bridge the CuII ions into a one‐dimensional (1D) chain. Such 1D chains are linked by the dtb ligands to form a 2D layer. The adjacent 2D layers are extended into a three‐dimensional (3D) supramolecular architecture by hydrogen‐bonding interactions. The electrochemical properties of 1 and 2 were investigated.  相似文献

A new polynuclear copper‐complex‐substituted dimeric tungstoarsenate(V), H2[{Cu(2,2′‐bpy)}8(H2O)2(AsW9O34)2] · 12H2O ( 1 ) (2,2′‐bpy = 2,2′‐bipydine), was synthesized hydrothermally and its structure was determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The title compound has Ci symmetry and consists of two trilacunary Keggin anions [α‐AsW9O34]9– supported by eight copper complex cations. The compound was also characterized by IR and fluorescence spectroscopy, TG analysis, and magnetic measurements. The emission spectrum of the compound in solid‐state exhibits a redshift relative to those of Na8[A‐HAsW9O34] · 11H2O and the free ligand 2,2′‐bpy. Magnetic measurements of the compound indicate competing ferro‐ and antiferromagnetic intramolecular coupling among the CuII atoms in the cluster anion.  相似文献

A novel copper(II) coordination polymer, poly[[[aquacopper(II)]‐μ3‐2,2′‐bipyridyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylato‐κ4N,N′:O:O′] dihydrate], {[Cu(C12H6N2O4)(H2O)]·2H2O}n, was obtained by the reaction of CuCl2·2H2O and 2,2′‐bipyridyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylic acid (H2L) in water. In the molecule, each CuII atom is five‐coordinated and lies at the centre of a square‐pyramidal basal plane, bridged by three L ligands to form a two‐dimensional (4,4)‐network. Each L moiety acts as a bridging tetradentate ligand, coordinating to three CuII atoms through its two aromatic N atoms and two O atoms of the two carboxyl groups. The two‐dimensional square‐grid sheets superimpose in an off‐set fashion through the inorganic water layer.  相似文献

Two new one‐dimensional CuII coordination polymers (CPs) containing the C2h‐symmetric terphenyl‐based dicarboxylate linker 1,1′:4′,1′′‐terphenyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylate (3,3′‐TPDC), namely catena‐poly[[bis(dimethylamine‐κN)copper(II)]‐μ‐1,1′:4′,1′′‐terphenyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylato‐κ4O,O′:O′′:O′′′] monohydrate], {[Cu(C20H12O4)(C2H7N)2]·H2O}n, (I), and catena‐poly[[aquabis(dimethylamine‐κN)copper(II)]‐μ‐1,1′:4′,1′′‐terphenyl‐3,3′‐dicarboxylato‐κ2O3:O3′] monohydrate], {[Cu(C20H12O4)(C2H7N)2(H2O)]·H2O}n, (II), were both obtained from two different methods of preparation: one reaction was performed in the presence of 1,4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (DABCO) as a potential pillar ligand and the other was carried out in the absence of the DABCO pillar. Both reactions afforded crystals of different colours, i.e. violet plates for (I) and blue needles for (II), both of which were analysed by X‐ray crystallography. The 3,3′‐TPDC bridging ligands coordinate the CuII ions in asymmetric chelating modes in (I) and in monodenate binding modes in (II), forming one‐dimensional chains in each case. Both coordination polymers contain two coordinated dimethylamine ligands in mutually trans positions, and there is an additional aqua ligand in (II). The solvent water molecules are involved in hydrogen bonds between the one‐dimensional coordination polymer chains, forming a two‐dimensional network in (I) and a three‐dimensional network in (II).  相似文献

Hydrothermal synthesis has afforded a pair of divalent copper acetate coordination polymers containing either 4, 4′‐dipyridylamine (dpa) or 4‐pyridylisonicotinamide (4‐pina), both of which hydrogen‐bonding capable central functional groups. X‐ray crystallography revealed that both exhibit a 1D chain dimensionality. Use of the kinked tethering ligand dpa produced [Cu(OAc)2(dpa)]n ( 1 ), which possesses a simple chain based on dpa linkage of isolated copper ions. On the other hand, employing the straighter amide ligand 4‐pina generated {[Cu(OAc)2(4‐pina)] · 0.5H2O}n ( 2 ), which exhibits {Cu2O2} rhomboid dimers formed through bridging acetate ligands. Weak antiferromagnetic coupling [g = 1.984(3), J = –3.2(3) cm–1] was observed within the axial‐equatorial bridged {Cu2O2} dimers in 2 , with possible ferrimagnetism due to spin canting below 11 K.  相似文献

Mononuclear copper(II) and trinuclear cobalt(II) complexes, namely [Cu(L1)]2 · CH2Cl2 and [{Co(L2)(EtOH)}2Co(H2O)] · EtOH {H2L1 = 4,6‐dichloro‐6′‐methyoxy‐2,2′‐[1,1′‐(ethylenedioxydinitrilo)dimethylidyne]diphenol and H3L2 = 6‐ethyoxy‐6′‐hydroxy‐2,2′‐[1,1′‐(ethylenedioxydinitrilo)dimethylidyne]diphenol}, were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the CuII complex, the CuII atom is four‐coordinate, with a N2O2 coordination sphere, and has a slightly distorted square‐planar arrangement. Interestingly, the obtained trinuclear CoII complex is different from the common reported 2:3 (L:CoII) salamo‐type CoII complexes. Infinite 2D layer supramolecular structures are formed via abundant intermolecular hydrogen bonding and π ··· π stacking interactions in the CuII and CoII complexes.  相似文献

The two title mononuclear compounds are four‐coordinate bis[N‐(5‐oxo‐4,4‐diphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazolidin‐2‐ylidene)glycinato]copper(II) dimethylformamide disolvate, [Cu(C17H14N3O3)2]·2C3H7NO, (I), and five‐coordinate aquabis[N‐(5‐oxo‐4,4‐diphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazolidin‐2‐ylidene)glycinato]copper(II) dimethylformamide disolvate, [Cu(C17H14N3O3)2(H2O)]·2C3H7NO, (II). In (I), the CuII ion lies on an inversion centre with one‐half of the complex molecule in the asymmetric unit, while in (II) there are two independent ligand molecules in the asymmetric unit, with the CuII ion and coordinated water molecule located on a general position. In both crystal structures, the complex molecules assemble in ribbons via N—H...O hydrogen‐bond networks.  相似文献

The title complexes, catena‐poly[[aqua(1,10‐phenanthroline‐κ2N,N′)cobalt(II)]‐μ‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ2O1:O4], [Co(C8H4O4)(C12H8N2)(H2O)], (I), and catena‐poly[[[(di‐2‐pyridyl‐κN‐amine)copper(II)]‐μ‐benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylato‐κ4O1,O1′:O4,O4′] hydrate], [Cu(C8H4O4)(C10H9N3)]·H2O, (II), take the form of zigzag chains, with the 1,4‐benzenedicarboxylate ion acting as an amphimonodentate ligand in (I) and a bis‐bidentate ligand in (II). The CoII ion in (I) is five‐coordinate and has a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal geometry. The CuII ion in (II) is in a very distorted octahedral 4+2 environment, with the octahedron elongated along the trans O—Cu—O bonds and with a trans O—Cu—O angle of only 137.22 (8)°.  相似文献

Schiff bases are considered `versatile ligands' in coordination chemistry. The design of polynuclear complexes has become of interest due to their facile preparations and varied synthetic, structural and magnetic properties. The reaction of the `ligand complex' [CuL] {H2L is 2,2′‐[propane‐1,3‐diylbis(nitrilomethanylylidene)]diphenol} with Ni(OAc)2·4H2O (OAc is acetate) in the presence of dicyanamide (dca) leads to the formation of bis(dicyanamido‐1κN1)bis(dimethyl sulfoxide)‐2κO,3κO‐bis{μ‐2,2′‐[propane‐1,3‐diylbis(nitrilomethanylylidene)]diphenolato}‐1:2κ6O,O′:O,N,N′,O′;1:3κ6O,O′:O,N,N′,O′‐dicopper(II)nickel(II), [Cu2Ni(C17H16N2O2)2(C2N3)2(C2H6OS)2]. The complex shows strong absorption bands in the frequency region 2155–2269 cm−1, which clearly proves the presence of terminal bonding dca groups. A single‐crystal X‐ray study revealed that two [CuL] units coordinate to an NiII atom through the phenolate O atoms, with double phenolate bridges between CuII and NiII atoms. Two terminal dca groups complete the distorted octahedral geometry around the central NiII atom. According to differential thermal analysis–thermogravimetric analysis (DTA–TGA), the title complex is stable up to 423 K and thermal decomposition starts with the release of two coordinated dimethyl sulfoxide molecules. Free H2L exhibits photoluminescence properties originating from intraligand (π–π*) transitions and fluorescence quenching is observed on complexation of H2L with CuII.  相似文献

Reaction of CuCl2 · 2H2O with chiral Schiff bases and sodium dicyanamide led to the formation of two chiral copper(II) coordination polymers, namely [Cu4(L1)2(dca)4]n ( 1 ) and [Cu2(L2)(μ‐Cl)(dca)(H2O)]n · nH2O ( 2 ) {H2L1 = (1R, 3S)‐N′,N′′‐bis[salicylidene]‐1,3‐diamino‐ 1,2,2‐trimethylcyclopentane, H2L2 = (1R, 3S)‐N′,N′′‐bis[3‐ethoxysalicylidene]‐1,3‐diamino‐ 1,2,2‐trimethylcyclopentane, dca = dicyanamide}. Both complexes were structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Complex 1 exhibits a two‐dimensional polymeric structure formed by single dca bridging tetranuclear Cu4 units. Complex 2 displays a left‐handed helical chain structure constructed from Cu2 dimers with single dca bridges. The chirality of 1 and 2 was confirmed by circular dichroism (CD) measurements in solution. Both complexes exhibit strong antiferromagnetic couplings with J = –308(4) cm–1 for 1 and J = –123(1) cm–1 for 2 in 2–300 K.  相似文献

A new complex of copper(II) picrate (pic) with 1, 3‐bis(1‐allaylbenzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐2‐oxopropane (aobb), with the composition [Cu(aobb)2](pic)2, was synthesized and characterized. The crystal structure of the copper(II) complex revealed that the coordination environment around the central copper(II) atom is a distorted octahedral arrangement. Electronic absorption spectroscopy, ethidium bromide displacement experiments and viscosity measurements indicate that the ligand and the CuII complex can strongly bind to calf thymus DNA, presumably by an intercalation mechanism. Furthermore, the antioxidant activity of the CuII complex was determined by superoxide and hydroxyl radical scavenging method in vitro, which indicate that the CuII complex has the activity to suppress OH · and O2 · –.  相似文献

One μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(L1)(μ‐C6H5CO2)] ( 1 )(H3L1 = 1,3‐bis(salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)), and two μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu4(L1)2(μ‐C8H10O4)(DMF)2]·H2O ( 2 ) and [Cu4(L2)2(μ‐C5H6O4]·2H2O·2CH3CN ( 3 ) (H3L2 = 1,3‐bis(5‐bromo‐salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)) have been prepared and characterized. The single crystal X‐ray analysis shows that the structure of complex 1 is dimeric with two adjacent copper(II) atoms bridged by μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato ligands where the Cu···Cu distances and Cu‐O(alkoxo)‐Cu angles are 3.5 11 Å and 132.8°, respectively. Complexes 2 and 3 consist of a μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear Cu(II) complex with mean Cu‐Cu distances and Cu‐O‐Cu angles of 3.092 Å and 104.2° for 2 and 3.486 Å and 129.9° for 3 , respectively. Magnetic measurements reveal that 1 is strong antiferromagnetically coupled with 2J =‐210 cm?1 while 2 and 3 exhibit ferromagnetic coupling with 2J = 126 cm?1 and 82 cm?1 (averaged), respectively. The 2J values of 1–3 are correlated to dihedral angles and the Cu‐O‐Cu angles. Dependence of the pH at 25 °C on the reaction rate of oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol (3,5‐DTBC) to the corresponding quinone (3,5‐DTBQ) catalyzed by 1–3 was studied. Complexes 1–3 exhibit catecholase‐like active at above pH 8 and 25 °C for oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol.  相似文献

The reaction of Cu(NO3)2·3H2O with 2,4′‐oxybis(benzoic acid) and 4,4′‐bipyridine under hydrothermal conditions produced a new mixed‐ligand two‐dimensional copper(II) coordination polymer, namely poly[[(μ‐4,4′‐bipyridine‐κ2N ,N ′)[μ‐2,4′‐oxybis(benzoato)‐κ4O 2,O 2′:O 4,O 4′]copper(II)] monohydrate], {[Cu(C14H8O5)(C10H8N2)]·H2O}n , which was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The X‐ray diffraction crystal structure analysis reveals that the CuII ions are connected to form a two‐dimensional wave‐like network through 4,4′‐bipyridine and 2,4′‐oxybis(benzoate) ligands. The two‐dimensional layers are expanded into a three‐dimensional supramolecular structure through intermolecular O—H…O and C—H…O hydrogen bonds. Furthermore, magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that the complex shows weak antiferromagnetic interactions between adjacent CuII ions.  相似文献

Multifunctional 2‐amino‐5‐sulfobenzoic acid (H2afsb) can exhibit a variety of roles during the construction of supramolecular coordination polymers. The pendant carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid and amino groups could not only play a role in directing bonding but could also have the potential to act as hydrogen‐bond donors and acceptors, resulting in extended high‐dimensional supramolecular networks. Two new CuII coordination compounds, namely catena‐poly[[[diaquacopper(II)]‐μ‐1,6‐bis(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)hexane‐κ2N4:N4′] bis(3‐amino‐4‐carboxybenzenesulfonate) dihydrate], {[Cu(C10H16N6)2(H2O)2](C7H6NO5S)2·2H2O}n or {[Cu(bth)2(H2O)2](Hafsb)2·2H2O}n, (1), and bis(μ‐2‐amino‐5‐sulfonatobenzoato‐κ2O1:O1′)bis{μ‐1,2‐bis[(1H‐imidazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene‐κ2N3:N3′}bis[aquacopper(II)] trihydrate, [Cu2(C7H5NO5S)2(C14H14N4)2(H2O)2]·3H2O or [Cu2(afsb)2(obix)2(H2O)2]·3H2O, (2), have been obtained through the assembly between H2afsb and the CuII ion in the presence of the flexible N‐donor ligands 1,6‐bis(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)hexane (bth) and 1,2‐bis[(1H‐1,2,4‐triazol‐1‐yl)methyl]benzene (obix), respectively. Compound (1) consists of a cationic coordination polymeric chain and 3‐amino‐4‐carboxybenzenesulfonate (Hafsb) anions. Compound (2) exhibits an asymmetric dinuclear structure. There are hydrogen‐bonded networks within the lattices of (1) and (2). Interestingly, both (1) and (2) exhibit reversible dehydration–rehydration behaviour.  相似文献

A new dumbbell‐type 4,4′‐bipy‐bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(4,4′‐bipy)L2(H2O)2](ClO4)4 · 8CH3OH · 10H2O, where L = 1‐[bis(3‐aminopropyl)amino]‐2‐ propanol and bipy = bipyridine, has been synthesized and characterized, X‐ray crystallographic analysis shows that the [Cu2(4,4′‐bipy)L2(H2O)2]4+ cations and water molecules generate layer structures extending parallel to bc planes through hydrogen bonding interactions of O–H ··· O and C–H ··· O. The layers are also connected by hydrogen bonding interactions involving methanol, water, and perchlorate anions. These interactions lead to the formation of rectangular channels of 12.3 Å × 6.0 Å along the crystallographic c axis. Perchlorate anions fill in each channel in a sandwich‐like packing mode, they are joined with the adjacent layers by water heptamers. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that the magnetic exchange interaction is weak although it has a regular π‐type electron transfer pathway. Furthermore, the electrochemical and thermogravimetric properties of the complex were also investigated.  相似文献

A dinuclear copper(II) complex, [CuII2(L)2] is afforded by the reaction of CuCl2 · 2H2O with a triazenido ligand, 1-[(2-carboxymethyl) benzene]-3-[2-carboxybenzene] triazene (H2L). Structural investigation shows that the copper-copper distance [2.3985(7) Å] is significantly shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii of Cu (1.40 Å), suggesting that there are metal-metal bonds in [CuII2(L)2]. In solid, there is a strong antiferromagnetic interaction between copper(II) ions (J = –135.6 cm–1). In homogeneous environment, [CuII2(L)2] shows electrocatalytic activities for hydrogen generation both from acetic acid with a turnover frequency (TOF) of 32 mol of hydrogen per mole of catalyst per hour [mol(H2) · mol–1(catalyst) · h–1] at an overpotential (OP) of 941.6 mV, and neutral buffer with a TOF of 512 mol(H2) · mol–1(catalyst) · h–1 at an OP of 836.7 mV.  相似文献

Two copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(μ-benzoato)(L1)2]NO3·2H2O (1) and [Cu2(μ-succinato)(L2)2(H2O)]ClO4 (2), have been synthesized, where L1 = N′-[(E)-phenyl(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]benzoylhydrazone and L2 = N′-[(E)-pyridin-2-ylmethylidene]benzoylhydrazone. These complexes were characterized including by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The copper is five-coordinate in 1 while in 2 one copper is five-coordinate and the other is six-coordinate. Electrochemical behavior of these complexes was measured by cyclic voltammetry. The conproportionation equilibrium constants (Kcon) for both complexes have been estimated. The superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities of 1 and 2 were measured by nitro blue tetrazolium assay. Complex 1 has better SOD activity than 2.  相似文献

The coordination polymers catena‐poly[[[(4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κN1)bis(thiocyanato‐κN)copper(II)]‐μ‐4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N1:N1′] dihydrate], {[Cu(NCS)2(C4H4N6)2]·2H2O}n, (I), and poly[tetrakis(μ‐4,4′‐bi‐1,2,4‐triazole‐κ2N1:N1′)bis(μ‐thiocyanato‐κ2N:S)tetrakis(thiocyanato‐κN)tricadmium(II)], [Cd3(NCS)6(C4H4N6)4]n, (II), exhibit chain and two‐dimensional layer structures, respectively. The differentiation of the Lewis acidic nature of CuII and CdII has an influence on the coordination modes of the triazole and thiocyanate ligands, leading to topologically different polymeric motifs. In (I), copper ions are linked by bitriazole N:N′‐bridges into zigzag chains and the tetragonal–pyramidal CuN5 environment is composed of two thiocyanate N atoms and three triazole N atoms [basal Cu—N = 1.9530 (18)–2.0390 (14) Å and apical Cu—N = 2.2637 (15) Å]. The structure of (II) contains two types of crystallographically unique CdII atoms. One type lies on an inversion center in a distorted CdN6 octahedral environment, with bitriazole ligands in the equatorial plane and terminal isothiocyanate N atoms in the axial positions. The other type lies on a general position and forms centrosymmetric binuclear [Cd2(μ‐NCS‐κ2N:S)2(NCS)2] units (tetragonal–pyramidal CdN4S coordination). N:N′‐Bridging bitriazole ligands link the Cd centers into a flat (4,4)‐network.  相似文献
