The ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(R)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IPr)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) (R = CH=CHBu(t), CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4, C(C≡CPh)=CHPh) are formed on reaction of IPr·CS(2) with [Ru(R)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh(3))(2)] (BTD = 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) or [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] in the presence of ammonium hexafluorophosphate. Similarly, the complexes [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) and [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) are formed in the same manner when ICy·CS(2) is employed. The ligand IMes·CS(2) reacts with [Ru(R)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh(3))(2)] to form the compounds [Ru(R)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) (R = CH=CHBu(t), CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4, C(C≡CPh)=CHPh). Two osmium analogues, [Os(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) and [Os(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) were also prepared. When the more bulky diisopropylphenyl derivative IDip·CS(2) is used, an unusual product, [Ru(κ(2)-SC(H)S(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)·IDip)Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+), with a migrated vinyl group, is obtained. Over extended reaction times, [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)Cl(BTD)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] also reacts with IMes·CS(2) and NH(4)PF(6) to yield the analogous product [Ru{κ(2)-SC(H)S(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)·IMes}Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+)via the intermediate [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+). Structural studies are reported for [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IPr)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)]PF(6) and [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)]PF(6).  相似文献

Neutral zinc, cadmium, mercury(II), and ethylmercury(II) complexes of a series of phosphinothiol ligands, PhnP(C6H3(SH-2)(R-3))3-n (n = 1, 2; R = H, SiMe3) have been synthesized and characterized by IR and NMR ((1)H, (13)C, and (31)P) spectroscopy, FAB mass spectrometry, and X-ray structural analysis. The compounds [Zn{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}] (1) and [Cd{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (2) have been synthesized by electrochemical oxidation of anodic metal (zinc or cadmium) in an acetonitrile solution of the appropriate ligand. The presence of pyridine in the electrolytic cell affords the mixed complexes [Zn{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}(py)] (3) and [Cd{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}(py)] (4). [Hg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (5) and [Hg{Ph2PC6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3)}2] (6) were obtained by the addition of the appropriate ligand to a solution of mercury(II) acetate in methanol in the presence of triethylamine. [EtHg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}] (7), [EtHg{Ph2P(O)C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3)}] (8), [{EtHg}2{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}] (9), and [{EtHg}2{PhP(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}] (10) were obtained by reaction of ethylmercury(II) chloride with the corresponding ligand in methanol. In addition, in the reactions of EtHgCl with Ph2PC6H4SH-2 and with the potentially tridentate ligand PhP(C6H3(SH-2)(SiMe3-3)) 2, cleavage of the Hg-C bond was observed with the formation of [Hg{Ph2PC6H4S-2}2] (5) and [Hg(EtHg) 2{PhP(O)(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}2] (11), respectively, and the corresponding hydrocarbon. The crystal structures of [Zn3{PhP(C6H4S-2)2}2{PhP(O)(C6H4S-2)2}] (1*), [Cd2{Ph2PC6H4S-2}3{Ph2P(O)C6H4S-2}] (2*), 3, 5, 6, [EtHg{Ph2P(O)C6H4S-2}] (7*), 8, 9, [{EtHg}2{PhP(O)(C6H3(S-2)(SiMe3-3))2}] (10*), and 11 are discussed. The molecular structures of 1, 2, 4, 7, and 10 have also been studied by means of density functional theory (DFT) calculations.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and full characterization for a series of cyclometallated complexes of Pt(II) and Pd(II) incorporating the fluxional trithiacrown ligand 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane ([9]aneS3). Reaction of [M(C insertion mark N)(micro-Cl)]2 (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); C insertion mark N = 2-phenylpyridinate (ppy) or 7,8-benzoquinolinate (bzq)) with [9]aneS3 followed by metathesis with NH4PF6 yields [M(C insertion mark N)([9]aneS3)](PF6). The complexes [M(C insertion mark P)([9]aneS3)](PF6) (M = Pt(II), Pd(II); Cinsertion markP = [CH2C6H4P(o-tolyl)2-C,P]-) were synthesized from their respective [Pt(C insertion mark P)(micro-Cl)]2 or [Pd(C insertion mark P)(micro-O2CCH3)]2 (C insertion mark P) starting materials. All five new complexes have been fully characterized by multinuclear NMR, IR and UV-Vis spectroscopies in addition to elemental analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and single-crystal structural determinations. As expected, the coordinated [9]aneS3 ligand shows fluxional behavior in its NMR spectra, resulting in a single 13C NMR resonance despite the asymmetric coordination environment of the cyclometallating ligand. Electrochemical studies reveal irreversible one-electron metal-centered oxidations for all Pt(II) complexes, but unusual two-electron reversible oxidations for the Pd(II) complexes of ppy and bzq. The X-ray crystal structures of each complex indicate an axial M-S interaction formed by the endodentate conformation of the [9]aneS3 ligand. The structure of [Pd(bzq)([9]aneS3)](PF6) exhibits disorder in the [9]aneS3 conformation indicating a rare exodentate conformation as the major contributor in the solid-state structure. DFT calculations on [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) and [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6) indicate the HOMO for both complexes is primarily dz2 in character with a significant contribution from the phenyl ring of the ppy ligand and p orbital of the axial sulfur donor. In contrast, the calculated LUMO is primarily ppy pi* in character for [Pt([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6), but dx2-y2 in character for [Pd([9]aneS3)(ppy)](PF6).  相似文献

The oxidation state of the chromium center in the following compounds has been probed using a combination of chromium K-edge X-ray absorption spectroscopy and density functional theory: [Cr(phen)(3)][PF(6)](2) (1), [Cr(phen)(3)][PF(6)](3) (2), [CrCl(2)((t)bpy)(2)] (3), [CrCl(2)(bpy)(2)]Cl(0.38)[PF(6)](0.62) (4), [Cr(TPP)(py)(2)] (5), [Cr((t)BuNC)(6)][PF(6)](2) (6), [CrCl(2)(dmpe)(2)] (7), and [Cr(Cp)(2)] (8), where phen is 1,10-phenanthroline, (t)bpy is 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine, and TPP(2-) is doubly deprotonated 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin. The X-ray crystal structures of complexes 1, [Cr(phen)(3)][OTf](2) (1'), and 3 are reported. The X-ray absorption and computational data reveal that complexes 1-5 all contain a central Cr(III) ion (S(Cr) = (3)/(2)), whereas complexes 6-8 contain a central low-spin (S = 1) Cr(II) ion. Therefore, the electronic structures of 1-8 are best described as [Cr(III)(phen(?))(phen(0))(2)][PF(6)](2), [Cr(III)(phen(0))(3)][PF(6)](3), [Cr(III)Cl(2)((t)bpy(?))((t)bpy(0))], [Cr(III)Cl(2)(bpy(0))(2)]Cl(0.38)[PF(6)](0.62), [Cr(III)(TPP(3?-))(py)(2)], [Cr(II)((t)BuNC)(6)][PF(6)](2), [Cr(II)Cl(2)(dmpe)(2)], and [Cr(II)(Cp)(2)], respectively, where (L(0)) and (L(?))(-) (L = phen, (t)bpy, or bpy) are the diamagnetic neutral and one-electron-reduced radical monoanionic forms of L, and TPP(3?-) is the one-electron-reduced doublet form of diamagnetic TPP(2-). Following our previous results that have shown [Cr((t)bpy)(3)](2+) and [Cr(tpy)(2)](2+) (tpy = 2,2':6',2"-terpyridine) to contain a central Cr(III) ion, the current results further refine the scope of compounds that may be described as low-spin Cr(II) and reveal that this is a very rare oxidation state accessible only with ligands in the strong-field extreme of the spectrochemical series.  相似文献

As an extension of prior studies involving the linear quaterpyridine ligand, 5,5'-dimethyl-2,2':5',5':2',2'-quaterpyridine 1, the synthesis of the related expanded quaterpyridine derivatives 2 and 3 incorporating dimethoxy-substituted 1,4-phenylene and tetramethoxy-substituted 4,4'-biphenylene bridges between pairs of 2,2'-bipyridyl groups has been carried out via double-Suzuki coupling reactions between 5-bromo-5'-methyl-2'-bipyridine and the appropriate di-pinacol-diboronic esters using microwave heating. Reaction of 2 and 3 with selected Fe(II) or Ni(II) salts yields a mixture of both [M(2)L(3)](4+) triple helicates and [M(4)L(6)](8+) tetrahedra, in particular cases the ratio of the products formed was shown to be dependent on the reaction conditions; the respective products are all sufficiently inert to allow their chromatographic separation and isolation. Longer reaction times and higher concentrations were found to favour tetrahedron formation. The X-ray structures of solvated [Ni(2)(2)(3)](PF(6))(4), [(PF(6)) ? Fe(4)(2)(6)](PF(6))(7), [Fe(4)(3)(6)](PF(6))(8) and [Ni(4)(3)(6)](PF(6))(8) have been determined, while the structure of the parent Fe(II) cage in the series, [(PF(6)) ? Fe(4)(1)(6)](PF(6))(7), was reported previously. The internal volumes of the Fe(II) tetrahedral cages have been calculated and increase from 102 ?(3) for [Fe(4)(1)(6)](8+) to 227 ?(3) for [Fe(4)(2)(6)](8+) to 417 ?(3) for [Fe(4)(3)(6)](8+) and to an impressive 839 ?(3) for [Ni(4)(3)(6)](8+). The corresponding void volume in the triple helicate [Ni(2)(2)(3)](4+) is 29 ?(3).  相似文献

Three organic-inorganic hybrid compounds [Mn(bpy)V(bpy)V(3)O(11)] (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) (1), [Cu(bpy)V(2)O(6)] (2) and [Zn(phen)3][V(2)O(6)].10H(2)O (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) (3) have been synthesized hydrothermally. Single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses revealed that compound 1 is the first example of bpy units coordinating to different transition metals in one molecule. Compound 2 is a new isomer of [Cu(bpy)V(2)O(6)] which was named the gamma-isomer by us. In compound 3, a 2-D water sheet with big holes filled by the "naked" [V(4)O(12)](4-) clusters is found.  相似文献

The dinucleating macrocyclic ligands (L(2;2))(2-) and (L(2;3))(2-), comprised of two 2-[(N-methylamino)methyl]-6-(iminomethyl)-4-bromophenolate entities combined by the -(CH(2))(2)- chain between the two aminic nitrogen atoms and by the -(CH(2))(2)- or -(CH(2))(3)- chain between the two iminic nitrogen atoms, have afforded the following M(II)Cu(II) complexes: [CoCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2).MeCN (1A), [NiCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2) (2A), [ZnCu(L(2;2))](ClO(4))(2).0.5MeCN.EtOH (3A), [CoCu(L(2;3))(MeCN)(2-PrOH)](ClO(4))(2) (4A), [NiCu(L(2;3))](ClO(4))(2) (5A), and [ZnCu(L(2;3))](ClO(4))(2).1.5DMF (6A). [CoCu(L(2;2))(MeCN)(3)](ClO(4))(2) (1A') crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, a = 11.691(2) A, b = 18.572(3) A, c = 17.058(3) A, beta= 91.18(2) degrees, V = 3703(1) A(3), and Z = 4. [NiCu(L(2;2))(DMF)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2A') crystallizes in the triclinic space group P(-)1, a = 11.260(2) A, b = 16.359(6) A, c = 10.853(4) A, alpha= 96.98(3) degrees, beta= 91.18(2) degrees, gamma= 75.20(2) degrees, V = 1917(1) A(3), and Z = 2. 4A crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 15.064(8) A, b = 11.434(5) A, c = 21.352(5) A, beta= 95.83(2)degrees, V = 3659(2) A(3), and Z = 4. The X-ray crystallographic results demonstrate the M(II) to reside in the N(amine)(2)O(2) site and the Cu(II) in the N(imine)(2)O(2) site. The complexes 1-6 are regarded to be isomeric with [CuCo(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).DMF (1B), [CuNi(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).DMF.MeOH (2B), [CuZn(L(2;2)))](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (3B)), [CuCo(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2).2H(2)O (4B), [CuNi(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2) (5B), and [CuZn(L(2;3)))](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (6B) reported previously, when we ignore exogenous donating and solvating molecules. The isomeric M(II)Cu(II) and Cu(II)M(II) complexes are differentiated by X-ray structural, magnetic, visible spectroscopic, and electrochemical studies. The two isomeric forms are significantly stabilized by the "macrocyclic effect" of the ligands, but 1A is converted into 1B on an electrode, and 2A is converted into 2B at elevated temperature.  相似文献

The reaction of 1:1 stoichiometries (1:1.5 for the nitrate/tetraethylene glycol (EO4) and pentaethylene glycol (EO5) complexes) of PbX(2) (X = NO(3), Br) with five- to eight-donor poly(ethylene glycols) (PEGs) in 3:1 CH(3)CN/CH(3)OH (CH(3)CN only for the nitrate/EO5 complex) followed by solvent evaporation resulted in six crystalline materials upon which X-ray structural analyses were carried out: [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO4)](n)(), [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO5)], [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO6)], [PbBr(EO5)(&mgr;-Br)PbBr(2)].H(2)O, [PbBr(NCMe)(EO6)](2)[PbBr(2)(EO6)][PbBr(3)](2), and [PbBr(EO7)][PbBr(3)]. The nitrates crystallize as tight ion pairs with the PEG ligands coordinating in an equatorial plane around the Pb(2+) ions. Because EO4 has only five oxygen donors, this complex exhibits steric unsaturation which is overcome by a monodentate interaction with a third nitrate anion that is also coordinated to a neighboring Pb(2+) ion. The six donors of EO5 coordinate in an equatorial plane resulting in a 10-coordinate complex with trans, twisted, bidentate nitrate anions. The seven-donor hexaethylene glycol (EO6) only uses six of its oxygen donors to coordinate Pb(2+). [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO4)](n)() is monoclinic, P2(1)/c, with a = 7.902(3) ?, b = 22.136(6) ?, c = 8.910(2) ?, beta = 90.96(3) degrees, and Z = 4. [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO5)] is triclinic P&onemacr;, with a = 9.332(3) ?, b = 10.025(3) ?, c = 11.688(4) ?, alpha = 68.41(3) degrees, beta = 68.39(3) degrees, gamma = 68.58(3) degrees, and Z = 2. [Pb(NO(3))(2)(EO6)] is monoclinic P2(1)/c, with a = 16.289(4) ?, b = 10.773(4) ?, c = 12.329(4) ?, beta = 106.77(2) degrees, and Z = 4. Lead(II) bromide complexes with PEGs tend to crystallize as PEG complexed cations with polymeric lead(II) bromide anions. In the EO5 complex, bromide anions in the polymer also coordinate to the PEG-wrapped Pb(2+) cations. The hexa- and heptaethylene glycol (EO6 and EO7, respectively) complexes contain discreet ions. In these halide complexes, EO7 is the only PEG to expand the Pb(2+) coordination number from eight to nine. [PbBr(EO5)(&mgr;-Br)PbBr(2)].H(2)O is triclinic P&onemacr;, with a = 7.922(6) ?,b = 15.802(9) ?, c = 19.001(9) ?, alpha = 73.19(8) degrees, beta = 88.91(9) degrees, gamma = 87.22(9) degrees, and Z = 4. [PbBr(NCMe)(EO6)](2)[PbBr(2)(EO6)][PbBr(3)](2) is monoclinic P2(1)/c, with a = 14.389(4) ?, b = 31.931(9) ?, c = 8.029(2) ?, beta = 97.76(3) degrees, and Z = 2. [PbBr(EO7)][PbBr(3)] is monoclinic Cc, with a = 13.165(3) ?, b = 24.732(5) ?, c = 8.007(1) ?, beta = 94.58(2) degrees, and Z = 4.  相似文献

Summary 2-Pyridylphenylacetonitrile (ppa) is oxidized by copper(II) halides in 1,2-dichloroethane to 1,2-dicyano-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-di(2-pyridyl)ethane (dcppe), yielding 41 complexes of dcppe with copper(II) dihalide, [CuX2(dcppe)4] (green). Nickel(II) and zinc(II) chlorides react with ppa giving complexes of a general formula [MCl2(ppa)2].Dcppe reacts with copper(II), zinc(II) chlorides and copper(II) bromide yielding complexes of formulae [CuCl2(dcppe)4] (yellow), [ZnCl2(dcppe)2] and [CuBr2(dcppe)]. No reaction is observed with cobalt(II) and nickel(II) chlorides.  相似文献

The reaction of two equivalents of the functional phosphine ligand N-(diphenylphosphino)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-amine Ph2PNHC=NNCHS (2) with [PdCl2(NCPh)2] in the presence of NEt3 gives the neutral, P,N-chelated complex cis-[Pd(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2] ([Pd(2-H)2], 3b), which is analogous to the Pt(II) analogue cis-[Pt (Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2] ([Pt(2-H)2], 3a) reported previously. These complexes function as chelating metalloligands when further coordinated to a metal through each of the CH-N atoms. In the resulting complexes, each endo-cyclic N donor of the thiadiazole rings is bonded to a different metal centre. Thus, the heterodinuclear palladium/platinum complexes cis-[Pt(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2PdCl2]([Pt(2-H)2·PdCl2], 4a) and cis-[Pd(Ph2PN=CNN=CHS)2PtCl2]([Pd(2-H)2·PtCl2], 4b) were obtained by reaction with [PdCl2(NCPh)2] and [PtCl2(NCPh)2], respectively. In contrast, reaction of 3a with [AuCl(tht)] occurred instead at the P-bound N atom, and afforded the platinum/digold complex cis-[Pt{Ph2PN(AuCl)=CNN=CHS}2] ([Pt(2-H)2(AuCl)2], 5). For comparison, reaction of 4a with HBF4 yielded cis-[Pt(Ph2PNH=CNN=CHS)2PdCl2](BF4)2([H24a](BF4)2, 6), in which the chelated PdCl2 moiety is retained. Complexes 3b, 4a·CH2Cl2, 4b·0.5C7H8, 5·4CHCl3 and 6 have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

In the present study the interaction of Fe(II) and Ni(II) with the related expanded quaterpyridines, 1,2-, 1,3- and 1,4-bis-(5'-methyl-[2,2']bipyridinyl-5-ylmethoxy)benzene ligands (4-6 respectively), incorporating flexible, bis-aryl/methylene ether linkages in the bridges between the dipyridyl domains, was shown to predominantly result in the assembly of [M(2)L(3)](4+) complexes; although with 4 and 6 there was also evidence for the (minor) formation of the corresponding [M(4)L(6)](8+) species. Overall, this result contrasts with the behaviour of the essentially rigid 'parent' quaterpyridine 1 for which only tetrahedral [M(4)L(6)](8+) cage species were observed when reacted with various Fe(II) salts. It also contrasts with that observed for 2 and 3 incorporating essentially rigid substituted phenylene and biphenylene bridges between the dipyridyl domains where reaction with Fe(II) and Ni(II) yielded both [M(2)L(3)](4+) and [M(4)L(6)](8+) complex types, but in this case it was the latter species that was assigned as the thermodynamically favoured product type. The X-ray structures of the triple helicate complexes [H(2)O?Ni(2)(4)(3)](PF(6))(4)·THF·2.2H(2)O, [Ni(2)(6)(3)](PF(6))(4)·1.95MeCN·1.2THF·1.8H(2)O, and the very unusual triple helicate PF(6)(-) inclusion complex, [(PF(6))?Ni(2)(5)(3)](PF(6))(3)·1.75MeCN·5.25THF·0.25H(2)O are reported.  相似文献

The ligands D((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2) (D = NH 1, S 2) react with (dme)NiCl(2) or (PhCN)(2)MCl(2) (M = Pd, Pt) to give complexes of the form [D((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MX]X (X = Cl, I; M = Ni, Pd, Pt) which were converted to corresponding iodide derivatives by reaction with Me(3)SiI. Reaction of 1 or 2 with (COD)PdMeCl affords facile routes to [κ(3)P,N,P-NH((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)PdMe]Cl (8a) and [κ(3)P,S,P-S((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)PdMe]Cl (9a) in high yields. An alternative synthetic approach involves oxidative addition of MeI to a M(0) precursor yielding [κ(3)P,N,P-HN(CH(2)CH(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)NiMe]I (10), [κ(3)P,N,P-HN(CH(2)CH(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MMe]I (M = Pd 8b Pt 11) and [κ(3)P,S,P-S(CH(2)CH(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MMe]I (M = Pd 9b, Pt 12). Alternatively, use of NEt(3)HCl in place of MeI produces the species [κ(3)P,N,P-HN(CH(2)CH(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MH]X (X = Cl, M = Ni 13a, Pd 14a, Pt 16a). The analogs containing 2; [κ(3)P,S,P-S((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MH]X (M = Pd, X = PF(6)15: M = Pt, X = Br, 17a, PF(6)17b) were also prepared in yields ranging from 74-93%. In addition, aryl halide oxidative addition was also employed to prepare [κ(3)P,N,P-HN(CH(2)CH(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)MC(6)H(4)F]Cl (M = Ni 18, Pd 19) and [κ(3)P,S,P-S((CH(2))(2)NHPiPr(2))(2)Pd(C(6)H(4)F)]Cl (20). Crystal structures of 3a, 4a, 5a, 6a, 8a, 9a, 14b and 16b are reported.  相似文献

Novel complexes of the type [CuL2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·xH2O (L = 2,2-bipyridine (bpy), x = 0; L = o-phenanthroline (phen), x = 1), [Cu(dien)]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·3H2O (dien=diethylenetriamine) or [Ni(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2· 2H2O have been prepared and studied by elemental analyses, i.r. spectra and magnetic measurements. Some of the complexes have been characterized by temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities, and weak antiferromagnetic exchange interaction was found for [Cu-(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2·H2O and [Ni(phen)2]3[Cr(NCS)6]2· 2H2O. Complex 1 describes a distorted tetrahedral metallic cluster, while complex 2 can be considered to be a 2-D coordination polymer. Complexes 3-13 can all be regarded as metallo-cryptand encapsulated lanthanides in which the central lanthanide ion is captivated within a [Co(II)(6)] trigonal prism. dc and ac magnetic susceptibility studies have been carried out in the 2-300 K range for complexes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 13, revealing the possibility of single molecule magnetism behavior for complex 10.  相似文献

A series of trigonal bipyramidal pentanuclear complexes involving the alkoxo-diazine ligands poap and p3oap, containing the M(5)[mu-O](6) core is described, which form by a strict self-assembly process. [Co(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3H(2)O (1), [Mn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3.5CH(3)OH.H(2)O (2), [Mn(5)(p3oap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).CH(3)CH(2)OH.3H(2)O (3), and [Zn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).2.5H(2)O (4) are homoleptic pentanuclear complexes, where there is an exact match between the coordination requirements of the five metal ions in the cluster, and the available coordination pockets in the polytopic ligand. [Zn(4)(poap)(poap-H)(3)(H(2)O)(4)] (NO(3))(5).1.5H(2)O (5) is a square [2 x 2] grid with a Zn(4)[mu-O](4) core, and appears to result from the presence of NO(3), which is thought to be a competing ligand in the self-assembly. X-ray structures are reported for 1, 4, and 5. 1 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 13.385(1) A, b = 25.797(2) A, c = 28.513(3) A, beta = 98.704(2) degrees, and Z = 4. 4 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 13.0897(9) A, b = 18.889(1) A, c = 20.506(2) A, alpha = 87.116(1) degrees, beta = 74.280(2) degrees, gamma = 75.809(2) degrees, and Z = 2. 5 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 14.8222(7) A, b = 21.408(1) A, c = 21.6197(9) A, beta = 90.698(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Compounds 1-3 exhibit intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

The synthesis and magnetic properties of five new homo- and heterometallic nickel(II) complexes containing artificial amino acids are reported: [Ni(4)(aib)(3)(aibH)(3)(NO(3))](NO(3))(4)·3.05MeOH (1·3.05MeOH), [Ni(6)La(aib)(12)](NO(3))(3)·5.5H(2)O (2·5.5H(2)O), [Ni(6)Pr(aib)(12)](NO(3))(3)·5.5H(2)O (3·5.5H(2)O), [Ni(5)(OH)(2)(l-aba)(4)(OAc)(4)]·0.4EtOH·0.3H(2)O 6(4·0.4EtOH·0.3H(2)O), and [Ni(6)La(l-aba)(12)][La(2)(NO(3))(9)] (5; aibH = 2-aminoisobutyric acid; l-abaH = l-2-aminobutyric acid). Complexes 1 and 4 describe trigonal-pyramidal and square-based pyramidal metallic clusters, respectively, while complexes 2, 3, and 5 can be considered to be metallocryptand-encapsulated lanthanides. Complexes 4 and 5 are chiral and crystallize in the space groups I222 and P2(1)3, respectively. Direct-current magnetic susceptibility studies in the 2-300 K range for all complexes reveal the presence of dominant antiferromagnetic exchange interactions, leading to small or diamagnetic ground states.  相似文献

Potassium 2,5-di-tert-butyl-3,4-dimethylphospholide K(dtp) (9) was synthesised in 45 % yield from commercially available starting materials by using zirconacyclopentadiene chemistry. Reaction of the K salt of this bulky anion and of the previously described potassium 2,5-bis(trimethylsilyl)-3,4-dimethylphospholide K(dsp) (8) with SmI(2) in diethyl ether afforded the homoleptic samarium(II) complexes 7 and 6, respectively, whose solid-state structures, [[Sm(dtp)(2)](2)] (7 a) and [[Sm(dsp)(2)](2)] (6 a), are dimeric owing to coordination of the phosphorus lone pairs to samarium, as shown by X-ray crystallography. Reaction of 8 with TmI(2) in diethyl ether afforded [Tm(dsp)(2)(Et(2)O)], which could not be desolvated without decomposition. In contrast, the coordinated ether group of the solvate [Tm(dtp)(2)(Et(2)O)], obtained from 9 and TmI(2), could easily be removed by evaporation of the solvent and extraction with pentane at room temperature, and the monomer [Tm(dtp)(2)] (5) could be isolated and was characterised by X-ray crystallography. Presumably, steric crowding in 5 is too high for dimerisation to occur. Compound 5, the first Tm(II) homoleptic sandwich complex, is remarkably stable at room temperature in solution and did not noticeably react with nitrogen, in sharp contrast with other thulium(II) species. As expected, 5, 6 and 7 all reacted with azobenzene to give the trivalent complexes [Tm(dtp)(2)(N(2)Ph(2))] (13), [Sm(dsp)(2)(N(2)Ph(2))], (14) and [Sm(dtp)(2)(N(2)Ph(2))] (15), respectively; 13 and 14 were characterised by X-ray crystallography. Complex 5 immediately reacted with triphenylphosphane sulfide at room temperature to give [[Tm(dtp)(2)](2)(mu-S)] (16), which was characterised by X-ray crystallography, whereas samarium(II) complexes 6 and 7 did not noticeably react with Ph(3)PS over 24 h under the same conditions.  相似文献

Summary The reactions of methyl-2-amino-4-diethylamino thieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine 6-carboxylate, methyl-2-amino-4-ethyl-phenylamine thieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxylate) and methyl-2-amino, 4-morpholino-thieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine-6-carboxylate with NiII and CoII halides produced complexes of the general formula ML2X2 (where L is thieno pyrimidine and X is Cl or Br). The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements and spectroscopy. All of the complexes were found to have pseudotetrahedral structures with the metal coordinated through the N(1) site of the thieno-[2,3-d]-pyrimidine.  相似文献

Novel oligonuclear complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) with 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (L) of the composition [M3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 (M = Co(II), Ni(II)), [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Hal6 (Hal = Cl?, Br?), and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O were synthesized and studied by magnetic susceptibility, electronic and IR spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction methods. All the above complexes are X-ray amorphous. Antifer-romagnetic exchange interactions between the M2+ ions were discovered in the [Co3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 and [Ni3L10(H2O)2](NO3)6 complexes, whereas ferromagnetic exchange interactions were observed in the complexes [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Cl6, [Ni3L6(H2O)6]Br6, and [Cu5L16(H2O)2](NO3)10 · 2H2O.  相似文献

The first heterodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the 1,6,7,12‐tetraazaperylene (tape) bridging ligand with iron(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) were synthesized and characterized. The metal coordination sphere in this complexes is filled by the tetradentate N,N′‐dimethyl‐2,11‐diaza[3.3](2,6)‐pyridinophane (L‐N4Me2) ligand, yielding complexes of the general formula [(L‐N4Me2)Ru(µ‐tape)M(L‐N4Me2)](ClO4)2(PF6)2 with M = Fe {[ 2 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, Co {[ 3 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}, and Ni {[ 4 ](ClO4)2(PF6)2}. Furthermore, the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes with palladium(II)‐ and platinum(II)‐dichloride [(bpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PdCl2](PF6)2 {[ 5 ](PF6)2} and [(dmbpy)2Ru(μ‐tape)PtCl2](PF6)2 {[ 6 ](PF6)2}, respectively were also prepared. The molecular structures of the complex cations [ 2 ]4+ and [ 4 ]4+ were discussed on the basis of the X‐ray structures of [ 2 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN and [ 4 ](ClO4)4 · MeCN. The electrochemical behavior and the UV/Vis absorption spectra of the heterodinuclear tape ruthenium(II) complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous mono‐ and homodinuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of the tape bridging ligand.  相似文献
