In a Kerr nonlinear blackbody, bare photons with opposite wave vectors and helicities are bound into pairsand unpaired photons are transformed into a new kind of quasiparticle, the nonpolariton. The nonpolariton system constitutes free thermal radiation in the blackbody. The present paper investigates the spectral energy density of the thermal radiation. We study the thermodynamics of phase transitions of a blackbody whose interior is filled by a Kerr nonlinear crystal. There is a transition temperature To, above which the Kerr nonlinear blackbody is in the normal thermal radiation state, and below which it is in the squeezed thermal radiation state. At To, the Gibbs free energy of the two phases is continuous but the entropy density of the two phases is discontinuous. Hence, there is a jump in the entropy density and this leads to a latent heat density. The photon system undergoes a first-order phase transition from the normal to the squeezed thermal radiation state. 相似文献

The dynamics of atomic dipole momentum and atomic dipole-squeezing effect are investigated inside a Kerr nonlinear blackbody. It is found that in a Kerr nonlinear blackbody, the atomic dipole momentum and its squeezing effect are heavily dependent on the Kerr nonlinear coefficient. It is also found that below a transition temperature T c , the dipole momentum and its squeezing effect in a Kerr nonlinear blackbody can vanish much faster with time than those in a normal blackbody. Above T c , the Kerr nonlinear blackbody becomes a normal blackbody, and the dynamics of the atomic dipole momentum and its squeezing effect behaves as those in normal blackbody radiation. The physical origin of the sudden-vanishing phenomenon in a Kerr nonlinear blackbody is also discussed. 相似文献

Based on the new development of nonextensive statistical mechanics (NSM), i.e., the so-called “optimal Lagrange multipliers” (OLM)approach, we revisit the generalized radiation laws of a Kerr nonlinear blackbody (KNB) and obtain the analytical expressions of generalized Planck radiation law and Stefan-Boltzmann law. In order to illustrate the influence of the parameter q on the two generalized radiation laws, we make a numerical calculation of the two laws under appropriate conditions. The potential of nonharmonic systems has several applications in the field of quantum physics. The photonadded coherent states for annharmonic oscillators in a nonlinear Kerr medium can be used to describe some quantum systems. In this paper, the phase properties of these states including number-phase Wigner distribution function,Pegg-Barnett phase distribution function, number-phase squeezing and number-phase entropic uncertainty relations are investigated. The problem of the codirectional Kerr coupler has been considered several times from different point of view. In the present paper we introduce the interaction between a two-level atom and the codirectional Kerr nonlinear coupler in terms of su\(\left (2\right ) \) Lie algebra. Under certain conditions we have adjusted the Kerr coupler and consequently we have managed to handle the problem. The wave function is obtained by using the evolution operator where the Heisnberg equation of motion is invoked to get the constants of the motion. We note that the Kerr parameter χ as well as the quantum number j plays the role of controlling the atomic inversion behavior. Also the maximum entanglement occurs after a short period of time when χ = 0. On the other hand for the entropy and the variance squeezing we observe that there is exchange between the quadrature variances. Furthermore, the variation in the quantum number j as well as in the parameter χ leads to increase or decrease in the number of fluctuations. Finally we examined the second order correlation function where classical and nonclassical phenomena are observed. 相似文献

We study the interaction between a single two-level atom and N two-level atoms under the effect of a uniform magnetic field. The exact solution is obtained and the expectation value of the time-dependent quantum operators calculated using the Block state (the generalized coherent state). We discuss numerically the atomic inversion where the phenomenon of collapse and revival is observed. The change in the value of the atomic angle plays a role in variance squeezing, where it is pronounced for ?? = π/3. Entropy squeezing is discussed and occurred in the first quadrature. The degree of entanglement through linear entropy is examined where the system shows partial entanglement and at a certain value of parameters displays nearly maximum entanglement. 相似文献

We establish that Cooper instability of the ground state of a normal blackbody triggers the attractive photons to form the pairs. We next find that however small the effective interphoton attraction V 0 is, Cooper pairs of photon always exist in the ground state of a Kerr nonlinear blackbody. It has been pointed out that there are the three fundamental properties of the Cooper pair of photon: the extremely large binding energy, the extremely small radius, and the extremely high critical temperature. These properties are reflected in the many-photon bound state described by the optical superfluid theory. 相似文献
