Elastic scattering of 6Li from 6Li has been studied for a beam energy of 156 MeV. The experimental differential cross sections have been analysed on the basis of the optical model using various phenomenological forms. The spin-orbit interaction proves to be less significant. A semimicroscopic double-folding cluster model which generates the real part of the optical potential by an antisymmetrized dα cluster wave function of 6Li and αα, dd and dα interactions is well able to describe the experimental data.  相似文献

Elastic and inelastic scattering data extending to θc.m ≈ 175° are reported for 6Li + 28Si at 27 and 34 MeV. Optical model analyses of the elastic data were made using a variety of real potential forms. The large-angle data cannot be fitted with a Woods-Saxon real potential, but are well described by Woods-Saxon squared, double-folded or Fourier-Bessel potentials. The real potential is the same at both energies, but the imaginary potential is weaker at 27 MeV. The inelastic data were analyzed using the DWBA and coupled channels techniques with folded real form factors and deformed Woods-Saxon imaginary potentials, with the deformations taken from electron scattering. The 2+ state was fitted well at both energies with the DWBA, while the prediction decreased too rapidly at large angles for the 4+ state. The large-angle 4+ data were better described when two-step excitations were included in the coupled-channels calculations. The forward-angle 2+ data are sensitive to the interference between Coulomb and nuclear scattering and show that the nuclear and Coulomb deformation parameters β2 are equal for this transition.  相似文献

The polarization in the scattering of neutrons from protons has been measured at a lab neutron energy of 16.2 MeV for the three c.m. angles 70°, 100° and 130°, at which the measured polarizations were (+2.95 ± 0.86) %, (+1.84 ± 0.91)% and (+1.62 ± 0.99) % respectively.  相似文献

Elastic helion scattering from 56Fe at 53.4 MeV was measured over the angular range 12° to 150°. Using the regular optical model, real-potential ambiguities, the shape of the imaginary term and the need for a spin-orbit term were explored. Coupled-channels (SCA) calculations based on the ground state and principal 2+ and 3 states indicate that such coupling effects are not as dominant as the inclusion of a spin-orbit potential in the regular optical model. Previously reported helion scattering from 59Co and 60Ni at 50.1 MeV has been included in an average parameter analysis to generalise the improvements in the helion optical-model parameterization in this energy region.  相似文献

The analysing power Aγ(θ) for neutron-proton scattering has been measured at 14.1 MeV for c.m. angles between 50° and 157°. A polarized neutron beam was produced by the reaction 3H(d, n)4He at 110 keV, using polarized deuterons from an atomic beam polarized ion source. Liquid and plastic scintillators were used for proton targets and the scattered particles were detected in an array of plastic scintillators. Use of the associated alpha technique, multi-parameter recording of events and off-line computer treatment led to very low backgrounds. The results differ significantly from the predictions of the phase-shift analyses of Yale IV, Livermore X and Arndt et al. We find, however, excellent agreement with the predictions of the “Paris potential” of Lacombe et al. Existing n-p analysing power results up to 30 MeV are surveyed and found to be consistent. An attempt was made to look for an isospin splitting of the triplet P-wave phase shifts.  相似文献

We have measured the np (nd) elastic scattering cross sections at 25(17) angles in the interval 30°–168° (c.m.), using a neutron beam with a broad spectrum peaked near 130 MeV. At backward angles the outgoing charged particles from a liquid hydrogen (deuterium) target were detected; at forward angles we detected neutrons scattered from a hydrogenated (deuterated) scintillating target. Cross sections have been normalized to the energy dependent solution of the Livermore nucleon-nucleon partial wave analysis, evaluated at 130 MeV. The np measurements represent a marginal improvement on previous work; the nd cross sections show some differences from pd measurements, in agreement with earlier indications at an energy of 152 MeV.  相似文献

Elastic scattering of 288,340,480 and 699 MeV Alpha-particles was measured on 208Pb, 116Sn and 58Ni. The data were analysed in terms of a phenomenological optical model. The optical potentials obtained were found to vary consistently with the target nucleus and the incident energy. The radial zone where the potentials are well determined was studied in detail. The data for 208Pb were also analysed with a folding model. The energy dependence of the strong-absorption radius and of the reaction cross section shows that the nuclear surface becomes slightly transparent for incident energies above 150 MeV per nucleon.  相似文献

Phase shifts for the d-α elastic scattering have been extracted from differential cross sections and the vector and tensor analyzing powers of 4He(d, d)4He scattering in the energy range from 3 to 43 MeV. The analysis includes spin-orbit splitting, mixing of states and absorption to reaction channels. A new parametrization of two-channel scattering matrices is given and compared. Excellent fits have been obtained with a new phase-shift code ONEZERO, which is capable of taking into account all degrees of freedom in strong interactions. The Argand-plot method has been used for resonance analysis of the excited 6Li system. Five new broad T = 0 resonances above 15 MeV deuteron energy have been found in 6Li, corresponding to D3, F2, F3, G3 and G4 resonant states. Problems from phase-shift ambiguities are pointed out.  相似文献

We have measured spin correlation parameters that describe the elastic scattering of 800 MeV polarized protons from an L-type polarized deuteron target at laboratory angles below 20°. The measured parameters include the correlated analyzing powers ASL, ALL and ANLL and the proton spin-transfer coefficients C0L,S, C0L,L, CSL,N, CNL,S, CNL,L and CLL,N. The results are compared with single-scattering predictions based on different phase-shift solutions for the nucleon-nucleon scattering matrix.  相似文献

The analysing power for the elastic scattering of 14.1 MeV neutrons by deuterons has been measured at 17 angles between 44.5° and 161.6° in the centre of mass. A polynomial fit to this data combined with that at the same energy by Preiswerk et al. and Fischer et al. has been made and compared with a similar fit to the p-d data of Duder et al. Significant differences are found over the full angular range. Similar comparisons have also been made on existing data at other energies between 8 and 50 MeV. The polynomial expansion coefficients have been determined as a function of energy and show differences between p-d and n-d scattering which vary smoothly with energy and appear to be greater than the experimental errors.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the elastic pd scattering were measured at seven energies between 0.4 and 1.0 MeV for scattering angles from θc.m. = 44.5° to 149.2°. A mixture of D2 and Kr was used as target gas and the pd differential cross sections were determined relative to those of pKr scattering with a statistical error of Δσσ ~5 × 10?3. Analyzing powers for pd scattering were measured at 0.8, 0.9 and 1.0 MeV with a statistical error of ΔAy ~5 × 10?4.  相似文献

Measurements of the differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of 30.5 MeV protons by 24Mg and for the inelastic scattering to the 1.37, sum of 4.12 and 4.23, 5.22 and 6.0 MeV states are reported. Optical model fits to the elastic data, a distorted wave calculation for the first excited state, and coupled channel calculations are also presented.  相似文献

Analyzing powers for p-3He elastic scattering have been measured at 12 energies between 1.75 and 4.50 MeV for θc.m. = 40° to 150°. A comparison of our results with earlier data of Drigo et al. shows substantial differences at all energies. The R-matrix fits to our data that were included in the global search calculations of Hale and Dodder are shown. These calculations established the ordering of the lowest-lying T = 1 levels of 4He as Jπ = 2?, 1? (triplet), 0?, and 1? (singlet), which is the WMI (MHI) ordering.  相似文献

Elastic scattering differential cross sections for the interaction of 100 MeV protons with 24Mg and 28Si have been measured using a high-resolution Ge(Li) spectrometer to resolve the inelastic scattering contribution to the elastic peak. The results have been analysed using the conventional optical model, and the experimental differential cross sections and total reaction cross section are excellently reproduced. The results agree with previous analyses of the elastic scattering of 100 MeV protons on 1p shell nuclei in that no set of geometric parameters can provide a quantitative fit to both nuclei. It is observed, however, that the fluctuations of the optical-model parameters for optimum fits are decreased over the fluctuations observed for the 1p shell nuclei. The present results combined with previous optical-model analyses on 24Mg and 28Si at 50 MeV and 40 MeV respectively, are found to be consistent with an energy dependence of dV/dE ≈ −0.3 for the depth of the real central potential in agreement with other, more extensive, investigations of the energy dependence for protons elastically scattered from 16O and 40Ca.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 14.8 MeV neutrons from Bi, Sr and Na have been measured with four neutron detectors participating in a time-of-flight system which had an energy resolution of 900 keV for the incident neutrons. The whole procedure was checked by scattering from carbon. For the elastic scattering of Bi, Sr and Na satisfactory optical-model fits were obtained. The absolute cross sections for excitation of collective states are compared to the distorted-wave theory for direct reactions, and a reasonable agreement has been found. The nuclear deformation parameters are extracted and compared to the values from other experiments.  相似文献

Measurements for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 500 MeV protons from 40Ca and 208Pb at small momentum transfers are reported. The induced proton polarization P and the spin rotation parameter Q were measured for the elastic scattering. The spin rotation parameters DSS, DSL, DLL, dLS and the induced polarization P were measured for transitions to the 3(3.37 MeV) and 5(4.48 MeV) states in 40Ca and the 3(2.61 MeV) state in 208Pb. Comparisons of the data with the theoretical calculations were carried out in the framework of nonrelativistic and relativistic approaches. We extracted the spin-up and spin-down channels for the elastic scattering cross sections and found that predictions of the relativistic and nonrelativistic approaches agree well with the spin-up channel data and differ considerably in the spin-down channel.  相似文献

The p-4He elastic differential cross section has been measured at a kinetic energy of 2.68 GeV. The momentum transfer region studied is t = 0.15–0.66 (GeV/c)2. The cross section displays a shallow first minimum and shape very similar to recent data at 1 GeV.  相似文献
