Absorption and emission spectra of Mo2 were investigated using flash photolysis of the Mo(CO)6 molecule. Tentative vibrational and rotational analyses of the 98Mo2 spectra were performed. For the ground state, 1Σg+ type was proposed with ωe = 477.1 cm?1, re = 1.929 A?, and D0(Mo2) = 95 ± 15 kcal mole?1. The results were compared with theoretical calculations for Mo2 and experimental results for Cr2 obtained previously. It seems reasonable that the transition metal diatomic molecules of this type have a high bond order.  相似文献

We report the first observation of the decay ?′→?π+π?l+l?π+π?. The 7 events seen yield a branching ratio B(?′→+π?)=(19±8)%. A consistent value of B=(26±13)% is obtained from the charged multiplicities of the ?′ and ? decays. Using these values we deduce Γtot(?′)=(31+10?8) keV and Bee(?′)=(1.8±0.5)%. Furthermore we estimate Γ(?′→gg?)=(10±5) keV in agreement with QCD predictions using vector gluons while one would expect 100 keV with scalar gluons.  相似文献

The hyperfine splitting frequencies NBH.F./h of 2.7 h 93Tc (Jπ = 92+), 4.9 h 94Tc (Jπ = 7+) and 20 h 95Tc (Jπ = 92+) as dilute impurities in Fe have been measured with NMR on oriented nuclei as 336.36(5) MHz, 175.11(1) MHz and 315.97(2) MHz, respectively. From the resonance shifts with an external magnetic field B0 the hyperfine field of TcFe has been determined as -317(5) kG. Taking this into account the nuclear g-factors are deduced as g(93Tc) = 1.392(22), g(94Tc) = 0.725(11) and g(95Tc) = 1.308(21).  相似文献

Discharges through mixtures of helium and neon show two band groups near 4250 and 4100 Å as first observed by Druyvesteyn. These bands, assigned to the HeNe+ ion by Tanaka, Yoshino, and Freeman, have been studied under high resolution and have been fairly completely analyzed. The upper state of the transition is a very weakly bound state resulting from He+(2S) + Ne(1S0). There are two lower states resulting from the two components of Ne+(2P) + He(1S0). The upper of these two (2Π12) is also very weakly bound while the lower of the two, the 2Σ+ ground state, has a dissociation energy of 0.69 eV and an re value of 1.30 Å. All bands in both band groups show four branches designated Rff, Qef, Qfe, and Pee. From their analysis the rotational constants in the various vibrational levels of the three electronic states have been determined. While no spin splitting in the B2Σ+ state has been found the ground state X2Σ shows a very large spin splitting and the A22Π12 state a very large Ω-type doubling. The vibrational numberings in all these states were established by the study of the spectrum of 3HeNe+. At the same time the hyperfine structure observed in all lines of 3HeNe+ confirmed the nature of the upper state B2Σ+ as resulting from He+ + Ne, i.e., by charge exchange from the ground state. The 2Π12 component of the 2Π state has not been observed, presumably because of low intensity.  相似文献

The q2 variation of the factor ?+(q2) in the decay K+π0e+ν has been studied using a sample of even detected in the CERN 1.1 m3 heavy-liquid bubble chamber. The data are consistent with a linear development ?+(q2)=?+(0) (1+λ+q/m2π) with λ+=0.027±0.008.  相似文献

The difference in g-factors for the 61+ and 81+(πh922) states in 210Po has been measured as (g6 ? g8)g8 = 2.0 ± 0.7%. This result represents a small violation of additivity. A value of g8 = 0.909 ± 0.011, independent of g6, was also obtained.  相似文献

Half-lives of O2+ states in 206Pb and 208Po, 770±40 and 465±20ps, respectively, are determined using direct-timing techniques. The corresponding monopole strength parameter values,ρ(206Pb) = 0.034±0.002 and ρ(208Po)=0.030?0.037, indicate that the O2+ states in both nuclei are mainly of similar two-neutron-hole character.  相似文献

The branching ratio Λ(KS0→π+π?γ)Λ(KS0→π+π?) has been determined to be (2.68±0.15)×10?3 for photon energies Eγ1 greater than 50 MeV in the KS0 rest frame. The decay KS0π+π?γ is found to be dominated by the internal bremsstrahlung transition. The branching rato of a possible direct transition is found to be less than 0.06 × 10?3 at 90% confidence level for Eγ1 > 50 MeV.  相似文献

Rare decay modes of the f meson are studied in the final states Δ++π+π?π+π?, Δ++π+π?MM and Δ++π+π?π+π?MM. The ratio Γ (f → π+π?π0π0)Γ(f → π+π?) is 0.23 ± 0.09 and Γ(f → 4 π) saturates the f inelasticity. A 2 s.d. upper limit of 0.09 is found for the branching ratio (f → ηη)(f → 2π).  相似文献

The quadrupole effect in the NMR of 17F(Iπ = 52+, T12 = 66 s) in a MgF2 single crystal has been investigated. Production and implantation of polarized 17F through the 16O(d, n) reaction and the resulting asymmetric β-decay were utilized. The quadrupole coupling constant is determined to be |eqQ/h| = 8.41 ± 0.24 MHz with η = 0.32 ± 0.02 at room temperature. No appreciable temperature dependence of eqQ is found from 77 K up to 770 K. Using previously known results, the following ratios of the quadrupole moments are obtained; |Q(17F, 52+)| : |Q(18F1, 5+)| : |Q(19F1, 52+| : |Q(20F, 2+)|= 1 : (1.33 ± 0.08) : (1.24 ± 0.06) : (0.69 ± 0.02). The additivity relation of Q between 17F, 17O, and 18F1 is discussed.  相似文献

The E-B (0g+-0u+) band system of Br2 has been investigated at Doppler-limited resolution using polarization labeling spectroscopy. Merged E state data for the three naturally occurring isotopes in the range vE = 0–16, expressed in terms of the constants for 79Br2, are (in cm?1) Y0,0 = 49 777.962(54), Y1,0 = 150.834(22), Y2,0 = ?0.4182(28), Y3,0 = 6.6(11) × 10?4, Y0,1 = 4.1876(28) × 10?2, Y1,1 = ?1.607(16) × 10?4, and Y0,2 = 1.39(39) × 10?8. The bond distance is re = 3.194 A?, and the diabatic dissociation energy to Br+(3P2) + Br?(1S0) is 34 700 cm?1.  相似文献

The A 2Σ+-X 2Π emission spectrum of HCl+ has been measured and analyzed for four isotopic combinations. These analyses extend previous work and provide rotational constants for the v = 0–2 levels of the ground state and for the v = 0–9 levels of the excited state. RKR potentials have been determined for both states, although the upper state could not be fitted precisely to such a model. Calculated relative intensities based on these potentials demonstrated that the electronic transition moment must change rapidly with lower state vibrational quantum number. Although considerable caution should be exercised in applying the concept of equilibrium constants to the A 2Σ+ state, the following are the best estimates of these constants (in cm?1) for the X 2Π state of H35Cl+: Be = 9.9406, ωe = 2673.7, Ae = ? 643.7, and re = 1.315 A?. For the A 2Σ+ state of H35Cl: Te = 28 628.08, Be ~ 7.505, ωe ~ 1606.5, and re = 1.514 A?.  相似文献

The level schemes of 98, 99Ru were studied with the reactions 98Mo(α, 3nγ) and 98Mo(α, 4nγ) at Eα = 35 to 55 MeV, using a large variety of in-beam γ-ray detection techniques and conversion-electron measurements. A search for the 3? state was carried out with the reaction 98Ru(p, p′). The ground-state band of 98Ru was excited up to Jπ = (12)+ and a negative-parity band up to (15)?. New levels in 98Ru were found at Ex = 2285 (Jπ = 4+), 2435 (Jπ = (3?, 4+)), 2671, 3540, 4224, 4847, 4915 (Jπ = (12)+), 4989 (Jπ = (12+)), 5521 (Jπ = (13)?), 5889, 6591 (Jπ = (15)?), and 7621 keV. New unambiguous spin and parity assignments were made for the levels at Ex = 2014 and 3852 keV, as Jπ = 3+ and 9?, respectively. New levels in 99Ru were found at Ex = 1976, 2021 (Jπ = (152+)), 2393, 2401 (Jπ = (172+)), 2875 (π = (+)), 3037, 3201 (Jπ = (232)?), 3460 (J = (172)), 3484 (Jπ = (212+)), 3985, 4224 (Jπ = (272?)), and 5359 keV. The 1070 keV, Jπ = 112? level in 99Ru has a half-life of 2.8 ns. A strongly excited negative-parity band is built on this level. A positive-parity band based on the ground state was excited up to Jπ = (212+). The level schemes are well reproduced by the interacting boson model in the vibrational limit.  相似文献

Forty Ω? events have been observed in a large (133 events/βb) experiment at 4.2 GeV/c incident K? momentum. Thirty nine of the events come from the three-body reaction K?p→Ω?K+K0. The Ω? is mainly produced in the forward hemisphere (direction of the incident K?). The lifetime is measured to be τ = (0.75 +0.14?0.11 × 10?10 sec substantially less than the Particle Data Group value of (1.3 ?0.3+0.2) × 10?10 sec. The mass is determined to be 1671.7 ± 0.6 MeV, in good agreement with other determinations. The decay asymmetry parameter α (for the decay mode Ω? → ΛK?) is found to be ?0.2 ± 0.4.  相似文献

Coherent production of Kπ, KandK final states from A ~ 20 nuclei by K? beams of 5.5, 10.0 and 12.7 GeV is analyzed. Final states with ? 2πO are included. Coherent Kπ production occurs (although forbidden via 0+ exchange) and is dominated by the K1 (890). The shape of the t distribution, the alignment of the produced meson and the ratio of the cross section on nuclei to that on hydrogen are consistent with optical model predictions assuming that K1 (890) are produced on single nucleons by exchange of isoscalar trajectories of natural parity (JP = 1?, 2+, etc.) and that the K1 (890) absorption in nuclear matter equals that of the K?. Coherent Kππ production (allowed via 0+, 1?, 2+, etc. exchange) is dominated by the Q phenomenon. A Dalitz plot and angular correlation analysis yields values for K?/K1π fractions, and shows that JP = 1+S-waveK1π dominates the coherently produced Q. The helicity of the Q is found to be compatible with 0. The Q? -nucleaon total cross section is estimated to be 0.98?0.37+024 times the K? -nucleon total cross section from a comparison of the coherent Q-production cross section with corresponding hydrogen cross sections at 10 and 12.7 GeV. We observe coherent production of Kω. The ration Kω/Kππ coherently produced in the Q mass region is (4 ± 1)%. Coherent production of K?π+π?andKOπ+π? πO is observed in the L region. Coherent production is not observed in the K4π channels.  相似文献

The static quadrupole moment of the first excited Jπ = 2+ state in 24Mg and the reduced electric quadrupole transition probability between this state and the ground state were measured via projectile Coulomb excitation. The quadrupole moment was deduced from the shapes of γ-ray angular distributions. The result is Q(24Mg, 2+) = ?0.27±0.05 b. The transition strength was deduced from yield measurements and by comparison with the yields of target γ-rays, The result is B(E2; 0+ → 2+, 24Mg) = 0.044±0.003 e2 · b2. The experimental measurements are compared with theoretical predictions and previous measurements and a detailed discussion is given of corrections to this type of reorientation experiment.  相似文献

The QCD effective coupling constant αs(Q2) is determined by comparing the O(αs)2 jet-distributions with the high-energy e+e? data from PETRA. We get αs(Q2 = 1225 GeV2) = 0.125 ± 0.01, which corresponds to ΛMS = 110+70?50MeV with five flavours.  相似文献

The quadrupole interaction frequencies ω0 = 3eQ1Vzz41(21-1) h? in the 5? state of 118Sn have been measured by time differential perturbed angular correlation technique in Sn, Sb and (95% Sn+5% Sb) environments. The ω0 for 116Sn was determined in Sn environment only. With the help of the known electric field gradient 1) of Sn in a Sn lattice the quadrupole moments have been deduced as Q(5?, 118Sn) = ±0.10(4) b and Q(5?, 116Sn) = ±0.165(60) b. These values together with the known2) quadrupole moment of the analogous 5? state in 120Sn are interpreted in terms of the pure single-particle model. The data exhibit the expected strong systematic variation of QI with the number of particles in the h112. subshell which is being filled with 1, 3 and 5 neutrons in 116Sn, 118Sn, and 120Sn, respectively.  相似文献

We show that any deviation from the closed-core hypothesis for 16O(0+, g.s.) may strongly affect the theoretical ratio of the transition probabilities for the two inverse processes: 16O(0+, g.s.) → 16N(O?, 120 keV) muon-capture) and 16N(0?, 120 keV) → 16O(0+, g.s.) (beta-decay). As a consequence, the possible evidence for exchange currents in this transition must be reexamined. Preliminary calculations do not exclude a still large meson exchange effect.  相似文献
