针对“黑障”问题,借助于电磁波斜入射到磁化等离子体的传输模型,研究了太赫兹(THz)波在磁化、均匀等离子体中的传输特性,分析了太赫兹波在磁化等离子体中传播的反射、透射以及衰减。仿真结果表明,等离子体碰撞频率、电子密度、入射角度以及磁场强度,对衰减产生不同的影响。单纯的增加碰撞频率,衰减值呈现出先增大后减小的变化趋势;电子密度的增加,与衰减峰值的大小有关;外加磁场加入,衰减值降低。通过调节外加恒定磁场,可以有效地解决“黑障”问题。  相似文献

Based on the plane wave expansion method, the complete band gaps of two-dimensional terahertz photonic crystals with typical structures are optimized through varying structural parameters. During our calculation, two kinds of lattice structures that are very promising for the materials of terahertz components are found and some interesting phenomena that were not reported in the former papers are also presented. Using the finite difference time domain method, we simulated the electromagnetic field distribution of THz waves in a PC splitter. And by the plane wave expansion method, we achieved the dispersion relation and defect modes in a rotated PC waveguide. 本文提出一种采用石榴石型铁氧体磁性材料的太赫兹滤波器,利用波导线缺陷和腔内点缺陷的耦合特性,通过改变腔内介质柱半径及分布,实现对某个波长的耦合,达到了高效率滤波的功能;改变外磁场的大小,影响铁氧体材料的磁导率变化,使谐振频率发生改变,从而对THz波进行滤波.应用平面波展开法(PWM)和时域差分有限法(FDTD)进行仿真分析,研究结果表明,该滤波器其插入损耗为0.0997 d B,3 d B带宽为8.22 GHz,实现了低损耗窄带滤波.  相似文献

太赫兹(THz)波是指频率介于0.1THz~10THz范围内的电磁波,即介于毫米波与红外线之间,太赫兹波有很多优越的特性,在国防、航天、医学等领域具有潜在的应用价值。本文设计了一种渐变的空气孔THz波光子晶体光纤,其包层由周期分布的渐变空气孔构成,芯区是去掉一个空气孔形成的缺陷。采用带有良匹配层(APML)吸收边界的全矢量时域有限差分法(finite-difference time-domain,FDTD)对其色散特性进行了数值分析,计算结果表明这种渐变空气孔光子晶体光纤具有较强的色散控制能力。  相似文献

Using the finite-difference time-domain method, the electromagnetic field distribution of terahertz waves in different photonic crystals Y-splitters were simulated. By continuous wave excitation of the guided mode, the simulation results show that those different Y-splitters can divide the power in an input wave guide equally between two output waveguides. By pulse excitation of a Gaussian envelope in time, the different Y-splitters have large different amplitude-frequency characteristics. The improved Y-splitter with a rod in the junction and without rods in the corners has widest −3-dB bandwidth 0.224 THz, and the amplitude reaches 0.616. The improved Y-splitter has better performance than other Y-splitters. These results provide a useful guide and a theoretical basis for the developments of terahertz functional components.  相似文献

基于锑化铟材料在太赫兹波段的横向磁光效应,提出了一种金属-空气-锑化铟-金属非对称周期性亚波长线栅阵列结构的表面等离子体器件,研究了外加磁场和温度对不同频率透射波聚焦特性的影响.结果表明,在外加磁场强度B=0.6 T、温度T=172 K时,可实现0.8 THz透射光束的聚焦,焦点处能流密度透过率比没有外加磁场时增强28倍.对于不同频率入射波,通过主动调节磁场强度和温度,能实现从0.4—0.8 THz宽频带的聚焦,而且焦点处的透过率相比于无外加磁场时的普通狭缝聚焦透过率增强20倍以上,该器件是太赫兹波段理想的可调谐、宽频段、高透过率的聚焦器件.  相似文献

通过对磁场控制下的二维磁光子晶体太赫兹波偏振传输特性的研究,利用铁氧体磁光材料的磁导率随外磁场改变而变化的特点,设计了具有可控起偏、偏振分束和可调谐波片功能的光子晶体太赫兹偏振控制器件.利用平面波展开法和严格耦合波分析分别计算了光子晶体带隙位置和透过率随外磁场强度变化的关系,用时域有限差分法计算了场分布和相位.结果表明,该结构可以实现高偏振消光比的偏振起偏器和分束器,以及在1 THz附近-π-π相位范围的连续可调谐波片. 关键词: 太赫兹 光子晶体 铁氧体 偏振控制  相似文献

We propose to employ dark hollow laser beams (DHBs) for obtaining multifocal terahertz (THz) radiations which are quite useful in medical applications. The number of peaks in the THz field can be suppressed if we apply external magnetic field and use intense lasers so that the relativistic effects are prominent. It means we can achieve strong bifocal THz radiation with this scheme. However, multifocal THz radiation can be reconstituted by increasing the beating frequency of the lasers. The separation of the peaks can be controlled by wisely choosing the orders of the lasers, and also by varying the strength of the magnetic field. The magnetic field is found to enhance the THz field, and also it tunes the frequency of the THz field. The DHBs of higher and equal orders are found to be most significant for efficient THz radiation generation with respect to the role of the magnetic field and density ripples.  相似文献

本文设计了一种基于超材料的偏振不敏感太赫兹宽带吸波体.吸波体包含两层金属和一层中间介质,表面金属层每一个周期单元由五种尺寸接近的金属块按照相邻不同的规律排列成5×5的方形阵列.各种尺寸金属块分别产生单峰谐振吸收,五个谐振吸收峰相互靠近从而产生宽带吸收.通过研究吸波体表面电流和电场z分量分布情况可知,入射太赫兹能量的吸收主要是由y方向上电场引起的电偶极子振荡和z方向上磁场引起的磁极化产生,而且金属层的欧姆损耗起主要作用.仿真结果表明,吸波体吸收率在80%以上的带宽约为1.2 THz,最高吸收率可达98.7%,半峰全宽(FWHM)为1.6 THz,该宽带吸波体的厚度约为中心波长的二十分之一,对偏振方向不敏感,且能实现大角度吸收,在太赫兹频段的电磁隐身、测辐射热探测器以及宽带通信等领域有潜在的应用价值.  相似文献

高性能的太赫兹器件在控制太赫兹波方面起到重要的作用,因此寻求一种简单有效的太赫兹器件加工方案非常必要。本文以太赫兹波导和太赫兹滤波器为例,分别选用Kagome型光子晶体结构的波导和一维光子晶体结构的滤波器,运用商用的3D打印机加工样品,并采用透射式太赫兹时域光谱系统对样品的参数进行测量。实验结果表明:加工的波导在0.2~1.0 THz范围内传输损耗平均值约为0.02 cm~(-1),最小值可达到0.002 cm~(-1),且可运用机械拼接的方式将多个波导进行简单的连接从而获得更长的波导而不引起严重的损耗;滤波器的透射谱在0.1~0.5 THz之间有两个明显高损耗带;这两组实验结果均与理论预计非常接近。本文运用太赫兹波导和滤波器的实例证实了3D打印技术加工太赫兹器件的可行性,将会成为获取性能可控、价格低廉的太赫兹器件的有效途径。  相似文献

The mechanism of terahertz(THz) pulse generation with a static magnetic field imposed on a gas plasma is theoretically investigated. The investigation demonstrates that the static magnetic field alters the electron motion during the optical field ionization of gas, leading to a two-dimensional asymmetric acceleration process of the ionized electrons. Simulation results reveal that elliptically or circularly polarized broadband THz radiation can be generated with an external static magnetic field imposed along the propagation direction of the two-color laser. The polarization of the THz radiation can be tuned by the strength of the external static magnetic field.  相似文献

We report the design and simulation of a dual-band perfect terahertz absorber which is composed of an electric Split-Resonance-Ring(eSRR) layer, polyimide spacer and a metal plate layer. The absorber has two near-unity absorptions near 0. 502 THz and 0. 942 THz and both are related to the LC resonance of the eSRR. The results show that the designed terahertz absorber is an excellent electromagnetic wave concentrator. The electromagnetic waves are firstly converged into the spacer and the eSRR layer and are then significantly absorbed.  相似文献

Based on the plane-wave expansion method, we calculate TE/TM gaps of 2-D photonic crystals (PCs) with typical square lattices composed of the silicon rods in air. Using the finite-difference time-domain method, we simulate the electromagnetic field distribution of THz waves in photonic crystals T-splitters. By the improved T-splitter with a rod in the junction, we achieved the amplitude–frequency characteristics of a pass band of 84% from 1.12 to 1.22 THz and surpassed by 76% the amplitude consistency of common T-splitters. And using the finite-difference time-domain method, we demonstrated that the improved T-splitter excels a common T-splitter in the degree of separation between the two output ports. These results provide a useful guide and a theoretical basis for the developments of THz functional components.  相似文献

We examine manipulating electromagnetic waves in magnetic photonic crystals (MPCs) with external magnetic fields. We predict new giant magnetoreflectivity and giant magnetorefractivity effects: with an external magnetic field of a magnitude much smaller than the anisotropy field of the ferromagnet, the MPC can be changed from completely reflecting to nonreflecting with corresponding changes in the angle of refraction. 太赫兹科学技术的良好发展势头已经在医药领域逐渐得到了重视与应用。与红外辐射、核磁共振、X射线、超声波等传统医疗诊断技术相比较,太赫兹电磁波技术具有低能量、高空间分辨率和宽带光谱分析能力等独特优势,从而为人体成像以及太赫兹波与人体组织相互作用研究提供了一种可靠的技术方法;由于太赫兹波的穿透性强,且指纹峰的专属性较高,能够在药物的检测与鉴别等方面发挥重要作用。基于太赫兹波段的以上优异特点,文章在介绍太赫兹光谱与成像技术在生物医学领域中的应用时,重点分析了太赫兹电磁波技术对人体皮肤组织的研究,人体的基因表述,对生物体细胞影响的研究,对癌症和骨头等组织的研究,以及对药物的研究等方面的现状和发展。基于上述的研究进展,文章介绍了太赫兹科学技术在未来的医学领域中面临的挑战,并展望了发展前景。  相似文献
