Frequency-angular distributions of signal wave intensity are calculated for spontaneous parametric down-conversion and parametric frequency conversion in spatially nonuniform nonlinear media. Wave reflection from interfaces is taken into account, and both regular and irregular nonuniform distributions of second-order nonlinear susceptibility are considered. A unified approach using a scattering matrix and a generalized Kirchhoff law is applied in calculations of spontaneous and stimulated processes in dissipative nonlinear media. Interference of electromagnetic zero-point fluctuations of the vacuum, nonlinear interference, and nonlinear diffraction are examined for media with various absorptive properties. Theoretical foundations are developed for diagnostics of nonuniform distributions of the second-order susceptibility, based on measurement of the line profiles of nonlinear signals.  相似文献

A model representing a two- or a three-dimensional array of classical harmonic chains withnonlinear coupling between them is investigated. Physically real systems to which this model applies are discussed. The model exhibits soliton-like nonlinear modes. The influence of these nonlinear modes on the static and the dynamic correlation functions is calculated by generalizing techniques developed for strictly one-dimensional systems. In the static correlation functions these modes lead to minor quantitative changes only. In certain dynamic correlation functions, however, a central peak is found to occur due to the nonlinear modes. The total weight and the width of this peak are calculated for a real spin system.  相似文献

Theoretical studies on intense laser radiation interacting with plasma reveal an induced nonlinear birefringence which turns out to be spontaneous Faraday rotation. Here, this rotation is called nonlinear Faraday rotation (NFR). The expressions for the nonlinear refractive indices of the laser fields are calculated both in relativistic and non-relativistic limits for a two-component plasma. The NFR angles due to nonlinear induced birefringence are derived in the absence of externally imposed magnetic fields. It is shown that, in the relativistic limit, the electron motion plays an important role in producing NFR and so in the generation of induced magnetic fields.  相似文献

The method of analytical calculation of a nonlinear electrostatic mirror of the time-of-flight mass spectrometer and the numerical method of computation of a nonlinear mirror are analyzed. We present the results of simulating of the devices with nonlinear focusing mirrors, which are calculated analytically and by the numerical method, and of the device with a linear reflectron. It is concluded on the basis of the results of simulation that the proposed analytical method for calculating a nonlinear electrostatic mirror of the time-of-flight mass spectrometer is much better than the existing numerical method.  相似文献

假设声波在双层一维非线性系统中传播时线性部分满足波动方程,非线性部分类似于非线性薛定谔方程的非线性部分.对该模型正反两个方向分别入射相同的声波计算透射率发现:一定频率及强度的声波在模型中具有单向透过性,表现出声二极管的行为;随着非线性强度差异的增强,单向导通性显著提高.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the nonlinear interaction of the waves generated by stimulated Raman scattering in plasma. The influence of nonlinear interaction of plasma wave with plasma electrons on the sum of action densities of waves generated by the laser wave is solved. The electron acceleration in the forward and backward wave fields is described. The change of the electric field of the quasimode of forward and backward plasma waves of Raman scattering given by trapping of plasma particles is calculated. Numerical results are calculated for typical parameters of the PALS experiment.  相似文献

The study of intense waves in soft biological tissues is necessary both for diagnostics and therapeutic aims. Tissue represents an inherited medium with frequency-dependent dissipative properties, in which waves are described by nonlinear integro-differential equations. The equations for such waves are well known. Their group analysis has been performed, and a number of exact solutions have been found. However, statistical problems for nonlinear waves in tissues have hardly been studied. As well, for medical applications, both intense noise waves and waves with fluctuating parameters can be used. In addition, statistical solutions are simpler in structure than regular solutions; they are useful for understanding the physics of processes. Below a general approach is described for solving nonlinear statistical problems applied to the considered mathematical models of biological tissues. We have calculated the dependences of the intensities of the narrowband noise harmonics on distance. For wideband noise, we have calculated the dependence of the spectral integral intensity on distance. In all cases, wave attenuation is determined both by the specific dissipative properties of the tissue and the nonlinearity of the medium.  相似文献

通过二维实映射研究非线性Kronig-Penney超晶格中的波输运特性,数值计算得到波矢一定情况下不同非线性系数的映射图、以及非线性系数一定情况下不同波矢的映射图.非线性Kronig-Penney超晶格中的非线性,对超晶格中波函数的Bloch波矢有明显的调节作用.随着非线性系数的增大,映射图由周期函数的有限个分立点变为准周期函数的一条闭合轨道、以及有规则或无规则的点分布. 关键词: 非线性Kronig-Penney超晶格 非线性效应 二维实映射 波矢  相似文献

本文提出了一种研究超短光脉冲在介质中传输特性的简单的计算机计算方法.用该方法得到了正色散光纤中的频率调制、频谱加宽和方波自成形,以及负色散光纤中的一、二、三阶孤子传输.其数值计算结果与解非线性薛定谔方程的数值结果完全一致.  相似文献

We demonstrate that the lowest threshold of spin-wave excitation in an in-plane magnetized magnetic nanocontact driven by spin-polarized current is achieved for a nonlinear self-localized spin-wave mode-standing spin-wave bullet--stabilized by current-induced nonlinear dissipation. This nonlinear mode has a nonpropagating evanescent character, is localized in the region comparable with the contact radius, and has a frequency that is lower than the frequency of the linear ferromagnetic resonance. The threshold current and generated frequency at the threshold theoretically calculated for this mode are in quantitative agreement with experiment.  相似文献

Nonlinear effects associated with intense sound fields in fluids are considered theoretically. Special attention is directed to the study of higher effects that cannot be described within the standard propagation models of nonlinear acoustics (the KZK and Burgers equations). The analysis is based on the fundamental equations of motion for a thermoviscous fluid, for which thermal equations of state exist. Model equations are derived and used to analyze nonlinear sources for generation of flow and heat, and other changes in the ambient state of the fluid. Fluctuations in the coefficients of viscosity and thermal conductivity caused by the sound field, are accounted for. Also considered are nonlinear effects induced in the fluid by flexural vibrations. The intensity and absorption of finite amplitude sound waves are calculated, and related to the sources for generation of higher order effects.  相似文献

We consider the problem of the influence of nonlinear effects on the results of measuring the ratio of ultrasound absorption by using a resonator cavity. The relative amplitudes and the frequency response function of a nonlinear ultrasonic cavity with plane piezoelectric converters were calculated. The ranges of operating frequencies, at which the influence of nonlinear effects is significant, are determined. It is shown that in the case of nonlinear oscillations, the relaxation time of the fundamental harmonic is significantly shorter than that for the linear regime, which leads to overestimation of the measured ultrasound absorption rate.  相似文献

In this work, we consider the exact solution of the stationary cubic nonlinear equation in a semi-infinite nonlinear medium in contact with a one-dimensional photonic crystal. Two kinds of analytical solutions are found for an arbitrary magnitude of the nonlinearity: a standing-wave-like one containing the inverse elliptic function Eli(?m), and a one-wave-type solution for transmitted TE-polarized waves. An approximate two-wave solution is proposed to describe the field propagation through the nonlinear film covering the photonic crystal. It is shown that the problem of a mixed linear-nonlinear structure may be reduced to a transcendental kernel equation determining the field inside the nonlinear part of the medium. The light reflection from a Si/SiO2 layered structure in contact with an optically nonlinear medium is calculated. The angular-frequency photonic band diagram and power dependency are investigated. 相控阵在聚焦超声治疗应用中不可避免地受到非线性影响,提出了采用高斯叠代法计算相控阵的非线性声场。在该方法中,利用预设焦点参数并应用伪逆矩阵算法得到阵元的激励参数;然后将阵元近似拟合成一组高斯声束的叠加,通过高斯声束叠代计算非线性声场。数值计算中以64阵元一维相控阵为研究对象;线性条件下,高斯叠代法结果与菲涅耳积分结果的误差低于0.5%,验证了该方法的可行性;单焦点及双焦点模式的相控阵非线性声场结果表明非线性效应能提高焦点聚焦性能,并且非线性效应与激励声压及激励频率成正比。  相似文献

The Kerr and the electrostrictive contributions to the intensity-dependent nonlinear refractive index in optical fibers are discussed on both theoretical and experimental bases. Particular attention is devoted to the electrostrictive contribution that under particular conditions is enhanced by resonances. The resonant behavior of the electrostrictive effect is calculated, measured, and discussed for standard single-mode fibers and dispersion shifted fibers. Experimental results are also reported. Measure ments have been carried out with a simple and effective technique based on the cross-phase modulation effect that also allows one to evaluate the nonlinear refractive index at any bit rate. Electrostriction contributes 20 % to the total nonlinear refractive index but in the resonant regime becomes comparable to the Kerr effect.  相似文献
