We take a list of properties of continuous maps on compact metric spaces, e.g. the existence of an arc horseshoe, the positivity of topological entropy, the existence of a homoclinic trajectory, the existence of an omega-limit set containing two minimal sets and others. Our aim is to find the relations between the properties in the case of dendrite maps. To achieve the aim at least partially, we consider several examples of dendrite maps and check which of the properties particular examples have. It also helps us to understand the dynamics of dendrite maps.  相似文献

In this paper, using the localization method of compact invariant sets, we examine the ultimate dynamics of the 3D prey–predator model containing two subpopulations of susceptible and infected predators. Our attention is focused to finding ultimate sizes of interacting populations, and, in addition, we show the existence of a global attracting set. Then, we derive various global conditions of ultimate extinction of at least one of the predators subpopulations and describe conditions under which all types of internal bounded dynamics are ruled out. In particular, we describe convergence conditions to omega-limit sets located (1) in the intersection of the prey-free plane with the infected predators-free plane and (2) in the infected predators-free plane. Based on the dynamical analysis of the 2D infection-free subsystem, we obtain conditions of global attraction to (i) the prey-only disease-free equilibrium point, (ii) the disease-free prey-predator equilibrium point (self-healing of the predator population), and (iii) the omega-limit set containing an equilibrium point or a periodic orbit. Main theoretical results are illustrated by numerical simulation. Tools and techniques developed in this work can be appropriated in the studies within predictive population ecology of more complex eco-epidemiological models.  相似文献

In this paper we present new stability and extensibility results for skew-product semiflows with a minimal base flow. In particular, we describe the structure of uniformly stable and uniformly asymptotically stable sets admitting backwards orbits and the structure of omega-limit sets. As an application, the occurrence of almost periodic and almost automorphic dynamics for monotone non-autonomous infinite delay functional differential equations is analyzed.  相似文献

In this note, we study some properties of local random pull-back attractors on compact metric spaces. We obtain some relations between attractors and their fundamental neighborhoods and basins of attraction. We also obtain some properties of omega-limit sets, as well as connectedness of random attractors. A simple deterministic example is given to illustrate some confusing problems.  相似文献

Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of optimization‐related problems, defined on general sets, are established by using topologically‐based structures, without the usual linear structure. First, we prove that the existence of solutions to a variational relation problem is equivalent to the existence of either a KKM‐structure or a connectedness structure, satisfying additionally some verifiable conditions. Then, applying these results, we obtain such full (two‐way) characterizations for the existence of invariant points, solutions of quasiequilibrium problems of the Stampacchia‐Minty type, saddle points, and Nash equilibria for noncooperative games. The main advantages of our scheme with the mentioned two structures are that full characterizations for existence are obtained in a unified way, with no convexity assumptions, and also that one has flexibility to choose a suitable structure in investigations. (This flexibility is decisive when the natural underlying structure of the given problem is scarcely employed.)  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the evolution of Lions’s weak solutions to the inhomogeneous Navier–Stokes equations. After proving that the kinetic energy is eventually bounded, we obtain a weakly compact global attractor that all Lions’s weak solutions approach as time tends to infinity. Furthermore, the existence of attracting sets in strong topology is established for short trajectories satisfying an additional compactness condition on the density.  相似文献

A novel approach to the global attracting sets of mild solutions for stochastic functional partial differential equations driven by Lévy noise is presented. Consequently, some new sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of the global attracting sets of mild solutions for the considered equations are established. As applications, some new criteria for the exponential stability in mean square of the considered equations is obtained. Subsequently, by employing a weak convergence approach, we try to establish some stability conditions in distribution of the segment processes of mild solutions to stochastic delay partial differential equations with jumps under some weak conditions. Some known results are improved. Lastly, some examples are investigated to illustrate the theory.  相似文献

Over the past decades various solution concepts for vector optimization problems have been established and used: among them are efficient, weakly efficient and properly efficient solutions. In contrast to the classical approach, we define a solution to be a set of efficient solutions on which the infimum of the objective function with respect to an appropriate complete lattice (the space of self-infimal sets) is attained. The set of weakly efficient solutions is not considered to be a solution, but weak efficiency is essential in the construction of the complete lattice. In this way, two classic concepts are involved in a common approach. Several different notions of semicontinuity are compared. Using the space of self-infimal sets, we can show that various originally different concepts coincide. A Weierstrass existence result is proved for our solution concept. A slight relaxation of the solution concept yields a relationship to properly efficient solutions.  相似文献

Recently, Luc defined a dual program for a multiple objective linear program. The dual problem is also a multiple objective linear problem and the weak duality and strong duality theorems for these primal and dual problems have been established. Here, we use these results to prove some relationships between multiple objective linear primal and dual problems. We extend the available results on single objective linear primal and dual problems to multiple objective linear primal and dual problems. Complementary slackness conditions for efficient solutions, and conditions for the existence of weakly efficient solution sets and existence of strictly primal and dual feasible points are established. We show that primal-dual (weakly) efficient solutions satisfying strictly complementary conditions exist. Furthermore, we consider Isermann’s and Kolumban’s dual problems and establish conditions for the existence of strictly primal and dual feasible points. We show the existence of primal-dual feasible points satisfying strictly complementary conditions for Isermann’s dual problem. Also, we give an alternative proof to establish necessary conditions for weakly efficient solutions of multiple objective programs, assuming the Kuhn–Tucker (KT) constraint qualification. We also provide a new condition to ensure the KT constraint qualification.  相似文献

The existence and the convergence (up to a subsequence) of the Moreau-Yosida regularization for the state-dependent sweeping process with nonregular (subsmooth and positively alpha-far) sets are established. Then, by a reparametrization technique, the existence of solutions for bounded variation continuous state-dependent sweeping processes with nonregular (subsmooth and positively alpha-far) sets is proved. An application to vector hysteresis is discussed, where it is shown that the Play operator with positively alpha-far sets is well defined for bounded variation continuous inputs.  相似文献

In this paper we are concerned with the study of a nonstandard quasi-hemivariational inequality. Using a fixed point theorem for set-valued mappings the existence of at least one solution in bounded closed and convex subsets is established. We also provide sufficient conditions for which our inequality possesses solutions in the case of unbounded sets. The solvability of optimal control problems is proved on both weak and strong solutions of a boundary value problem for the nonlinear reaction–diffusion–convection equation with variable coefficients. In the second case, the requirements for smoothness of the multiplicative control are reduced. The study of extremal problems is based on the proof of the solvability of the corresponding boundary value problems and on the qualitative analysis of their solutions properties. The large data existence results for weak solutions, the maximum principle as well as the local existence and uniqueness of a strong solution are established. Moreover, an optimal feedback control problem is considered. Using methods of the theory of topological degree for set-valued perturbations (with aspheric image sets) of generalized monotone operators, we obtain sufficient conditions for the solvability of this problem in the class of weak solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of pullback attractors for the modified Swift-Hohenberg equation defined on $R^{n}$ driven by both deterministic non-autonomous forcing and additive white noise are established. We first define a continuous cocycle for the equation in $L^{2}(R^{n})$, and we prove the existence of pullback absorbing sets and the pullback asymptotic compactness of solutions when the equation with exponential growth of the external force. The long time behaviors are discussed to explain the corresponding physical phenomenon.  相似文献

We study the initial boundary value problem of semilinear hyperbolic equations with dissipative term. By introducing a family of potential wells we derive the invariant sets and vacuum isolating of solutions. Then we prove the global existence, nonexistence and asymptotic behaviour of solutions. An evolution inclusion with the right-hand side containing the difference of subdifferentials of proper convex lower semicontinuous functions and a multivalued perturbation whose values are nonconvex closed sets is considered in a separable Hilbert space. In addition to the original inclusion, we consider an inclusion with convexified perturbation and a perturbation whose values are extremal points of the convexified perturbation that also belong to the values of the original perturbation. Questions of the existence of solutions under various perturbations are studied and relations between solutions are established. The primary focus is on the weakening of assumptions on the perturbation as compared to the known assumptions under which existence and relaxation theorems are valid. All our assumptions, in contrast to the known assumptions, concern the convexified rather than original perturbation.  相似文献

The geometric method of involving the relative positions of the nullcline planes is used to analyze the global asymptotic behavior of solutions of autonomous Lotka-Volterra competitive systems. Some observations about limit sets are made and, based on these observations, new criteria are established for the system to have a single point global repellor. Several formulations of a local geometric measure-type condition are imposed on super-level sets of mild solutions to the homogeneous incompressible 3D magnetohydrodynamical system with bounded initial data to prevent finite-time singularity formation. Supporting this, results regarding the existence, uniqueness, and real analyticity of mild solutions are established as is a sharp lower bound on the radius of analyticity.  相似文献
