, and have been calculated via the BUU model with soft EOS and 0.8 times of . The density distribution without any adjustable parameters which comes from the RMF model has been introduced into the BUU calculation to replace the normally used one-parameter square-type distribution. The calculated results can reproduce the experimental data well for both halo- and stable-nuclei-induced reactions. Here or is calculated as the difference between of halo nucleus and core nucleus, by assuming . It indicates that this assumption works very well at high energy in the BUU calculation. More experimental measurements are necessary to test the validity of this assumption at intermediate energy.Received: 12 June 2003, Revised: 29 September 2003, Published online: 27 April 2004PACS: 24.10.-i Nuclear reaction models and methods - 25.60.Dz Interaction and reaction cross-sections - 25.60.Gc Breakup and momentum distributions - 27.20. + n   相似文献

Isomeric states in 210-215Ra have been populated by the decay of the compound nuclei 216,220Ra produced in irradiations of 204,208Pb with 12C at MeV. Published values for -ray energies and half-lives were confirmed for Ra. Our data for Ra agree with the -energies and the half-life measured at the RITU separator, University of Jyväskylä (Finland). Its decay pattern is complex. Two series of -rays of keV and keV were observed. A half-life of s was measured. The isomeric state is attributed to an 8 + state at E * = 2053.8keV. A previously unknown isomeric state was assigned to Ra. It has a half-life of ( ) and it decays by emission of -rays with energies of 396.1keV and 802.0keV. It is attributed to a 13/2 + state at E * = 1198.1 keV.PACS: 23.60. + e decay - 27.90. + b   相似文献

High-spin states in 108,110Pd isotopes are studied by -ray spectroscopy of heavy-ion-induced fission. The Pd isotopes are produced in the fission channel of the 31P + 176Yb reaction at beam energy 152 MeV. The prompt -rays are detected with the EUROBALL4 multidetector array. The yrast states of 108,110Pd have been observed above the region of the first backbend. The level scheme of 108Pd was extended with a new negative-parity band. The yrast sequence in 110Pd is observed up to spin I = 14 + and negative-parity bands have also been identified. The backbending in these even-mass Pd isotopes is associated with the alignment of the neutron (h 11/2)2 pair. The negative-parity states arise from two neutron configurations and and they are interpreted in the frame of two-quasiparticle + rotor model as semidecoupled bands. The observed experimental staggering in the -bands of 108,110Pd supports the theoretical predictions for -instability of their shapes.Received: 22 April 2003, Revised: 27 June 2003, Published online: 2 December 2003PACS: 21.60.-n Nuclear structure models and methods - 23.20.Lv transitions and level energies - 25.70.Jj Fusion and fusion-fission reactions - 27.60. + j   相似文献

The laser ion source has been used for the study of the isotope shifts of neutron-deficient Eu isotopes. The extension of the region of applicability of the method by using the - and -radiation detection is reported. We have measured the isotope shifts of the europium optical line 576.520 nm for . To increase the laser ion source efficiency an axial magnetic field (350 gauss) was applied. Nearly a twofold rise of the ionization efficiency for Eu was observed. By using the effect of optical ion bunching an increase of the selectivity was obtained. The isotope shift data for are in agreement with the previously measured isotope shifts for these nuclides. The new data for and refined data for point to a gradual increase of the deformation for these isotopes. Comparisons with microscopic-macroscopic calculations and calculations in the framework of the Hartree-Fock model were performed.Received: 10 November 2003, Revised: 28 April 2004, Published online: 19 October 2004PACS: 29.25.Rm Sources of radioactive nuclei - 42.62.Fi Laser spectroscopy - 21.10.-k Properties of nuclei; nuclear energy levels - 21.10.Ft Charge distribution  相似文献

We extend a recent chiral approach to nuclear matter by including the most general (momentum-independent) NN-contact interaction. Iterating this two-parameter contact vertex with itself and with one-pion exchange the emerging energy per particle exhausts all terms possible up to and including fourth order in the small momentum expansion. Two (isospin-dependent) cut-offs are introduced to regularize the (linear) divergences of some three-loop in-medium diagrams. The equation of state of pure neutron matter, , can be reproduced very well up to quite high neutron densities of by adjusting the strength of a repulsive nn-contact interaction. Binding and saturation of isospin-symmetric nuclear matter is a generic feature of our perturbative calculation. Fixing the maximum binding energy per particle to MeV we find that any possible equilibrium density lies below . The additional constraint from the neutron matter equation of state leads however to a somewhat too low saturation density of . We also investigate the effects of the NN-contact interaction on the complex single-particle potential U(p,k f ) + i W(p,k f ). We find that the effective nucleon mass at the Fermi surface is bounded from below by . This property keeps the critical temperature of the liquid-gas phase transition at somewhat too high values MeV. The downward bending of the asymmetry energy A(k f ) above nuclear-matter saturation density is a generic feature of theapproximation to fourth order. We furthermore investigate the effects of the NN-contact interaction on the -term in the nuclear energy density functional . Altogether, there is within this complete fourth-order calculation no magic set of adjustable short-range parameters with which one could reproduce simultaneously and accurately all semi-empirical properties of nuclear matter. In particular, the conditions for a good neutron matter equation of state and for good single-particle properties are mutually exclusive.Received: 28 October 2003, Revised: 9 December 2003, Published online: 23 July 2004PACS: 12.38.Bx Perturbative calculations - 21.65. + f Nuclear matter - 24.10.Cn Many-body theory - 31.15.Ew Density-functional theory  相似文献

We compute the spectra of exotic pentaquarks and monopole excitations of thelow-lying and baryons in a chiral soliton model. Once the low-lying baryon properties are fit, the other states are predicted without any more adjustable parameters. This approach naturally leads to a scenario in which the mass spectrum of the next to lowest-lying states is fairly well approximatedby the ideal mixing pattern of the representation of flavor SU(3). We compare our results to predictions obtained in other pictures for pentaquarks and speculate about the spin-parity assignment for and .Received: 21 April 2004, Revised: 19 May 2004, Published online: 23 July 2004PACS: 12.39.Dc Skyrmions - 14.20.-c Baryons (including antiparticles) - 14.80.-j Other particles (including hypothetical)  相似文献

Preliminary differential cross-sections of the reactions and with A = 1 H, 12 C, and nat Pb are presented. A significant nuclear-mass dependence of the invariant-mass distribution is found in the channel. The dependence is not observed in the channel. The in-medium observation in the channel is consistent with an in-medium modification of the interaction in the I = J = 0 channel, changing width and pole position of a resonant state.Received: 30 September 2002, Published online: 22 October 2003PACS: 13.60.Le Meson production - 21.65. + f Nuclear matterJ.G. Using an effective Lagrangian approach as well as the Quark-Gluon Strings Model, we analyze near-threshold production of a 0(980)-mesons in the reaction as well as the background of non-resonant -pair production. We argue that the reaction at an energy release MeV is dominated by the intermediate production of the a 0(980)-resonance. At larger energies the non-resonant -pair production --where the kaons are produced in a relative P-wave-- becomes important. The effects of final-state interactions are evaluated in a unitarized scattering length approach and found to be in the order of a 20% suppression close to threshold. Thus, in present experiments at the Cooler Synchrotron COSY-Jülich for MeV the a 0 + signal can reliably be separated from the non-resonant background.Received: 26 February 2004, Published online: 21 September 2004PACS: 25.10. + s Nuclear reactions involving few-nucleon systems - 13.75.-n Hadron-induced low- and intermediate-energy reactions and scattering (energy GeV)  相似文献

The production of the - and -hyperons has been measured via the reaction at the internal COSY-11 facility in the excess energy range between 14 and 60 MeV. The transition of the cross-section ratio from about 28 at MeV to the high-energy level of about 2.5 is covered by the data showing a strong decrease of the ratio between 10 and 20 MeV excess energy. Effects from the final-state interactions in the p- channel seem to be much smaller than in the p- channel. Estimates of the effective range parameters are given for the and the systems.PACS: 13.75.-n Hadron-induced low- and intermediate-energy reactions and scattering (energy GeV) - 13.75.Ev Hyperon-nucleon interactions - 13.85.Lg Total cross-sections - 25.40.Ep Inelastic proton scattering  相似文献

A study of Z-boson pair production in e + e- annihilation at center-of-mass energies between 190 GeV and 209 GeV is reported. Final states containing only leptons, ( and ), quark and lepton pairs, ( , ) and only hadrons ( ) are considered. In all states with at least one Z boson decaying hadronically, lifetime, lepton and event-shape tags are used to separate pairs from final states. Limits on anomalous ZZ and ZZZ couplings are derived from the measured cross sections and from event kinematics using an optimal observable method. Limits on low scale gravity with large extra dimensions are derived from the cross sections and their dependence on polar angle.Received: 14 July 2003, Published online: 18 December 2003  相似文献

The -meson production in the reaction has been studied at excess energies of Q = 26.5, 32.5 and 46.6 MeV using the internal beam facility COSY-11 at the cooler synchrotron COSY. The total cross-sections as well as one angular distribution for the highest Q-value are presented. The excitation function of the near-threshold data can be described by a pure s-wave phase space distribution with the inclusion of the proton-proton final-state interaction and Coulomb effects. The obtained angular distribution of the -mesons is also consistent with pure s-wave production.Received: 11 August 2003, Revised: 14 November 2003, Published online: 6 April 2004PACS: 13.60.Le Meson production - 13.75.-n Hadron-induced low- and intermediate-energy reactions and scattering (energy GeV) - 13.85.Lg Total cross-sections - 25.40.-h Nucleon-induced reactions  相似文献

We demonstrate the different effect of strange impurities ( and ) on the static properties of nuclei within the framework of the relativistic mean-field model. Systematic calculations show that the glue-like role of the -hyperon is universal for all -hypernuclei considered. However, the -hyperon has a glue-like role only for the protons distribution in nuclei, while for the neutrons distribution it plays a repulsive role. On the other hand, the -hyperon attracts the surrounding neutrons and reveals a repulsive force to the protons. Possible explanations of the above observation are discussed.Received: 10 March 2003, Revised: 6 November 2003, Published online: 5 May 2004PACS: 21.80. + a Hypernuclei - 24.10.Cn Many-body theory  相似文献

We present new experimental data on the highly excited levels in mercury using the two-step laser excitation and optogalvanic detection technique in conjunction with a RF discharge cell. The 6s7s 3S1 intermediate level has been accessed from the 6s6p 3P2 metastable level that is collisionally populated in the mercury discharge in the presence of a buffer gas at a pressure of about 1 Torr. Two beams fromtwo different dye lasers pumped with a common excimer laser were passed through the discharge cell containing mercury vapors. The first laser was tuned to 6s7s 3S1 level whereas the second laser was scanned covering the wavelength region between 544-458 nm. We have observed the 6snp 3P0 ( ), 6snp ( ), 6snp ( ) and 6snp ) Rydberg series. The 6snp Rydberg series to such high n-value has been reported for the first time. The first ionization potential of mercury is determined from the 6snp Rydberg series as 84184.15 0.05 cm-1. Some collisionally induced parity forbidden transitions have also been located that are identified as 6sns ( ) series.Received: 5 November 2003, Published online: 20 January 2004PACS: 31.50.-x Potential energy surfaces - 32.30.Jc Visible and ultraviolet spectra - 32.80.Rm Multiphoton ionization and excitation to highly excited states (e.g., Rydberg states)  相似文献
