The spectral behavior of polychromatic spatially fully coherent Gaussian beams diffracted at an aperture in the far field is studied based on the propagation law of the cross-spectral density function. Detailed numerical calculation results are presented, and illustrated. It is shown that the spectral changes take place in the vicinity of zeros of the Airy pattern, and the spectral modifier depends on the truncation parameter δ and diffraction angle α. The critical diffraction angle αc, at which the spectrum is split into two lines with equal height i.e., the spectral switch appears, varies with truncation parameter δ. The spectral switch vanishes if δ becomes large enough. A detailed comparison with the previous publications is given, showing somewhat extension made in our work.  相似文献

The dispersive characteristics of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) supported by a periodically corrugated boundary between vacuum and a negative refractive index, isotropic material were studied theoretically by numerical solution of a dispersion equation. SPP dispersion curves were correlated with the optical response of the corrugated boundary in frequency regions where SPPs can be excited by a normally incident plane wave. Abrupt reflectivity variations, characterized by the presence of a near unity maximum and an almost zero minimum, were found in regions where the boundary without corrugation exhibits low reflectivity and rather featureless reflectivity curves.  相似文献

提出了一种反射镜平动式光栅光调制器,每个像素主要由一个可动反射镜和上面的固定光栅组成,通过控制可动反射镜和固定光栅的距离达到对入射光的调制.依据标量衍射理论对反射镜平动式光栅光调制器工作状态的光学特性进行了详细的理论分析;并仿真了光调制器的结构参量对衍射效率和对比度的影响.发现:当可动平板和光栅的距离为λ0和5λ0/4,像素表现为暗态和亮态;这种光调制器的工作原理决定了其有效面积大,具有形成面阵的潜力;固定光栅占空比为1/2时,对比度最优;同时给出了对比度随入射光带宽的关系,即带宽越大,对比度急剧下降.  相似文献

本文采用严格的一阶耦合波理论,对矩形光栅的衍射特性进行了分析,给出了TE模和TM模同时具有很高的衍射效率时的光栅结构。计算表明:只有在满足Bragg衍射条件时,TE模和TM模才能达到峰值衍射效率。为了验证理论与编制程序的正确性,将计算结果与已有的资料进行了比较.  相似文献

研究了光折变重存储读出时折射率栅自增强特性与记录晶体厚度、记录时的光强比以及写入的折射率栅振幅之间的关系.结果表明记录晶体的厚度大于某一值,才有自增强效应;较小的参物光强比具有较大的自增强效果,能获得较大的读出衍射效率;自增强读出所能达到的最大衍射效率与写入的栅振幅大小无关,而读出时衍射效率增加的速率与写入的栅振幅成反比.  相似文献

Based on the modified Kogelnik diffraction efficiency equation, the diffraction intensity spectrum and the total diffraction efficiency of volume gratings in photorefractive media are studied systematically. Taking photorefractive InP:Fe crystal as an example, the effect of the grating parameters and the pulse width on the diffraction properties are presented, in particular under the influence of crystal material dispersion. Under the combined effects, the diffraction pulse profiles and the total diffraction efficiency are shown. Also, the diffraction properties with and without crystal material dispersion are compared. These studies indicate that the properties of the diffraction beams can be controlled by the holographic grating parameters; this property can be used for pulse shaping applications.  相似文献

The period interaction on diffraction of the blazed transmission gratings is analyzed with a modified extended scalar theory. For one certain period, the lights reflected from the neighboring structures can be refracted by the grating facets and form two extra fields on the bottom facet of blazed transmission gratings. The effects of this period interaction versus several diffraction orders for a fixed fabrication error of blazed transmission gratings with intermediate structures are discussed for both TE and TM polarizations. The results have been compared with those obtained with finite-difference time-domain method.  相似文献

衍射光栅是非常重要的色散元件,在光谱分析领域中有着广泛的应用,光栅光谱衍射效率的测量对于评估光栅性能和改进光栅制备工艺有着重要的作用。在目前常见光栅光谱衍射效率的测量技术中,由于存在两种需要重复数百次的机械运动,因而光栅光谱衍射效率的测量速度比较缓慢,如获取700~900 nm波段范围内的光谱衍射效率,大约需要5~8 min的时间。在之前的研究中,报道了一种快速测量光栅光谱衍射效率的新方法,新方法采用声光可调谐滤波器、积分球探测器和高速数据采集系统,可以完全消除现有测量方法中存在的两种耗时的机械运动,由于测量过程中没有任何机械运动的参与,新方法能在10 ms量级获得700~900 nm波段范围内的光谱衍射效率。首先对光栅光谱衍射效率测量新方法的主要误差来源进行了系统分析,发现新方法一个比较明显的误差来源是凸透镜的透过率与入射角相关;然后结合光学模拟,得到了激光光束以不同入射角度传播通过凸透镜时的透过率,并提出了相应的误差校正方法;最后结合实验测量数据,我们对光栅光谱衍射效率新测量技术的误差校正方法进行了实验验证。数据分析结果表明,在550~750 nm波段范围内测得的光栅光谱衍射效率,经过误差校正后,新方法与传统测量方法之间绝对误差的平均值从校正前的0.207%降低到校正后的0.099%,由于传统光栅光谱衍射效率测量方法的测量精度约为0.1%,结果表明,提出的误差校准方法能成功消除光栅光谱衍射效率新测量方法的主要误差来源。  相似文献

本文采用耦合波方法计算了对称面形光栅的衍射效率,分析了光栅截面面形为正弦、三角形、矩形、梯形光栅衍射效率与光栅周期、沟槽深度的关系,计算了光栅的峰值衍射效率。理论计算表明:合理地选择光栅周期、沟槽深度,对称面形光栅都可以达到很高衍射效率,接近100%;光栅的峰值衍射效率基本出现在Bragg衍射且光栅的周期等于衍射波长时。  相似文献

嵌入式镀膜光栅是将平行四边形的介质膜层,以亚波长量级的周期嵌入波导中.针对该光栅在不同偏振态、不同角度入射下的各级衍射效率问题,本文基于严格耦合波分析理论,对该光栅进行建模与数值分析.结果表明,在TE模入射时,该光栅的一级衍射效率可随膜厚在[0, 37%]内变化,其余非零级次的衍射效率低于2%.衍射特性可以满足平视器成像的效率递增要求,同时可以减少能量的损失与杂散成像光线.当入射光束的角度在纵向[45 °,70 °]、横向[-15 °,15 °]内变化时,一级衍射效率的变化平稳,可以保持平视器不同视场的成像能量均匀.针对入射光偏振态、光栅材料、嵌入膜层倾角、光栅周期对衍射特性的影响,给出了相应的数值分析,可为波导全息平视器中衍射元件的制作提供理论指导.  相似文献

The anisotropic Bragg diffraction of the volume holographic gratings in photorefractive crystals are investigated based on the model of anisotropic coupled-wave theory. The effect of the initial intensity ratio and the recording angles of the two recording waves on the anisotropic Bragg diffraction properties is discussed. It is shown that both the ratio of the initial intensity and the incident angles of the recording waves are selective action for the anisotropic Bragg diffraction efficiency of the volume holographic gratings, while these two recording conditions are not selective action for the isotropic Bragg diffraction. Furthermore, the Bragg phase matching condition of anisotropic diffraction is analyzed when the recording angles change.  相似文献

Diffraction by a thick transmission phase grating being illuminated by a plane wave at the first, second and third Bragg angles is analyzed using the rigorous coupled-wave theory for the materials having a nonlinear response to the holographic illumination. It is shown that in the case of nonlinear holographic recording the two-wave approximation can be applied with the use of the effective value of the amplitudes of the refractive index modulation (n1ef, n2ef, and n3ef). The applicability conditions of such approximation are defined. The analytical dependencies of n1ef, n2ef, and n3ef on the amplitudes of the first, second and third harmonics of spatial frequency of the refraction index modulation amplitude n1, n2 and n3 are derived and the criteria of their applicability are established here. The resulting expressions for the diffraction efficiencies are given for readout at three Bragg angles. The results of analytical and numerical methods are compared. The obtained formulas are used for the calculation of n1, n2 and n3 of the holographic gratings generated in the photopolymer material.  相似文献

基于琼斯矩阵和菌紫质分子光循环的简化光循环模型,建立了紫光诱导同圆偏振记录光栅的理论模型,采用四波耦合光路测量菌紫质光栅的衍射效率.理论模拟和实验结果表明:加入线偏振的辅助紫光,线偏振再现光与线偏振辅助紫光相互平行时,菌紫质光栅的衍射效率最大;线偏振再现光与线偏振辅助紫光相互垂直时,菌紫质光栅的衍射效率最小;菌紫质薄膜中同圆偏振记录光栅的稳态衍射效率随线偏振再现光偏振方向和线偏振辅助紫光偏振方向之间的夹角按余弦规律变化.线偏振紫光能诱导同圆偏振记录光栅由非偏振光栅转化为偏振光栅.  相似文献

The differential method (also called the C method) is applied to the diffraction of linearly polarized plane waves at a periodically corrugated boundary between vacuum and a linear, homogeneous, uniaxial, dielectric-magnetic medium characterized by hyperbolic dispersion equations. Numerical results for sinusoidal gratings are presented and compared with those obtained by means of the Rayleigh method, showing that both the differential method and the Rayleigh method can fail to give adequate results for gratings supporting an infinite number of refracted Floquet harmonics.  相似文献

This paper describes a power combiner of solid—state millimeter wave in rectangular cavity. The operating frequency is about 50 GHz. And the sources of excitation are GaAs Gunn deodes. Final presents the performance parameter, combining efficiency, tuning range, frequency drift, and FM noise, etc. This paper also presents a millimeter wave source of rectangular waveguide cavity. Using an exellent algorithm to design rectangular waveguide cavity of power combimer. The algorithm gives the mathematial model, on the basis of the mathematial model, using CAD of PC microcomputer to design the parameters of the cavity.
