Using the one-boson-exchange model, we investigate the ΛcDs*, ∑cDs*, ∑c*Ds*, ΞcD*, Ξ'cD*, and Ξc*D* interactions by considering the one-eta-exchange and/or one-pion-exchange contributions. We further predict the existence of hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks. Promising candidates for hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks include a Ξ'cD* state with 0((1/2)-) and the Ξc*D* states with 0((1/2)-) and 0((3/2)-). Experimental searches for these predicted hidden-charm molecular pentaquarks are an interesting future research topic for experiments like LHCb.  相似文献

The extent of a locally equilibrated parton plasma in d+Au collisions at √s NN =200 GeV is investigated as a function of centrality in a nonequilibrium-statistical framework. Based on a three-sources model, analytical solutions of a relativistic diffusion equation are in precise agreement with recent data for charged-particle pseudorapidity distributions. The moving midrapidity source indicates the size of the local thermal equilibrium region after hadronization. In central d+Au collisions it contains 19% of the produced particles.  相似文献

The D*D1(2420) and DD'*(2600) interactions are studied in a one-boson-exchange model. Isovector bound state solutions with spin parity JP=1+ are found from the D*D1(2420) interaction, which may be related to the observed charged charmonium-like state Z(4430). There is no bound state solution found from the DD'*(2600) interaction.  相似文献

The confirmation of charged charmonium-like states indicates that heavy quark molecules should exist. Here we discuss the possibility of a molecule state with J P C= 3-+. In a one-boson-exchange model investigation for the S wave C = + D* ˉD*2states, one finds that the strongest attraction is in the case J = 3 and I = 0 for bothπ and σ exchanges. Numerical analysis indicates that this hadronic bound state might exist if a phenomenological cutoff parameter around 2.3 Ge V(1.5 Ge V) is reasonable with a dipole(monopole) type form factor in the one-pionexchange model. The cutoff for binding solutions may be reduced to a smaller value once the σ exchange contribution is included. If a state around the D* ˉD*2threshold(≈4472 Me V) in the channel J/ψω(P wave) is observed, the heavy quark spin symmetry implies that it is not a cˉc meson and the J P C are likely to be 3-+.  相似文献

The DD* interaction via a ρ or ω exchange is constructed within an extended hidden gauge symmetry approach, where the strange quark is replaced by the charm quark in the SU(3) flavor space. With this DD* interaction, a bound state slightly lower than the DD* threshold is generated dynamically in the isospin zero sector by solving the Bethe-Salpeter equation in the coupled-channel approximation, which might correspond to the X(3872) particle announced by many collaborations. This formulism is also used to study the BB* interaction, and a BB* bound state with isospin zero is generated dynamically, which has no counterpart listed in the review of the Particle Data Group. Furthermore, the one-pion exchange between the D meson and the D* is analyzed precisely, and we do not think the one-pion exchange potential need be considered when the Bethe-Salpeter equation is solved.  相似文献

Diffractive photoproduction of D(2010) mesons was measured with the ZEUS detector at the ep collider HERA, using an integrated luminosity of 78.6 pb-1. The D* mesons were reconstructed in the kinematic range: transverse momentum pT(D*) > 1.9 GeV and pseudorapidity |η(D*)|<1.6, using the decay D*+→D0π+ s followed by D0→K-π+(+c.c.). Diffractive events were identified by a large gap in pseudorapidity between the produced hadronic state and the outgoing proton. Cross sections are reported for photon–proton centre-of-mass energies in the range 130 < W < 300 GeV and for photon virtualities Q2 < 1 GeV2, in two ranges of the Pomeron fractional momentum xIP<0.035 and xIP<0.01. The relative contribution of diffractive events to the inclusive D(2010) photoproduction cross section is about 6%. The data are in agreement with perturbative QCD calculations based on various parameterisations of diffractive parton distribution functions. The results are consistent with diffractive QCD factorisation.  相似文献

The product of the Λb0(B0) di erential production cross-section and the branching fraction of the decay Λb0→J/ψpK- (B0→J/ψpK*(892)0) is measured as a function of the beauty hadron transverse momentum, pT, and rapidity, y. The kinematic region of the measurements is pT <20 GeV/c and 2.0< y< 4.5. The measurements use a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3fb-1 collected by the LHCb detector in pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies √s= 7 TeV in 2011 and √s= 8 TeV in 2012. Based on previous LHCb results of the fragmentation fraction ratio, fΛb0/fd, the branching fraction of the decay Λb0→J/ψpK- is measured to be
Bb0→J/ψpK-)=(3.17±0.04±0.07±0.34-0.28+0.45)×10-4,
where the rst uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, the third is due to the uncertainty on the branching fraction of the decay B0→J/ψpK*(892)0, and the fourth is due to the knowledge of fΛb0/fd. The sum of the asymmetries in the production and decay between Λb0 and Λb0 is also measured as a function of pT and y. The previously published branching fraction of Λb0→J/ψpπ-, relative to that of Λb0→J/ψpK-, is updated. The branching fractions of Λb0→Pc+(→J/ψp)K- are determined.  相似文献

By assuming that the scalar meson KK0*(1430) belongs to the rst excited states or the lowest lying ground states of qq', we study the pure annihilation-type decays B→K0(1430)K(*)+ in the QCD factorization approach. Within the Standard Model, the branching fractions are of the order of 10-8-10-7, which is possible to measure in the ongoing LHCb experiment or forthcoming Belle-II experiment. We also study these decays in the family non-universal Z' model. The results show that if mZ' 600 GeV (ξ =0.02), both the branching fractions and CP asymmetries of q0 →K0*+(1430)K- could be changed remarkably, which provides us with a place for probing the e ect of new physics. These results could be used to constrain the parameters of the Z' model.  相似文献

In this review phenomenological consequences of the Standard Model extension by means of new spin-1 chiral fields with the internal quantum numbers of the electroweak Higgs doublets are summarized. The prospects for resonance production and detection of the chiral vector Z* and W*± bosons at the LHC energies are considered on the basis of quantitative simulations within the CompHEP/CalcHEP package. The Z* boson can be observed as a Breit-Wigner resonance peak in the invariant dilepton mass distributions in the same way as the well-known extra gauge Z?? bosons. However, the Z* bosons have unique signatures in transverse momentum, angular and pseudorapidity distributions of the final leptons, which allow one to distinguish them from other heavy neutral resonances. In 2010, with 40 pb?1 of the LHC proton-proton data at the energy 7 TeV, the ATLAS detector was used to search for narrow resonances in the invariant mass spectrum of e + e ? and ??+??? final states and high-mass charged states decaying to a charged lepton and a neutrino. No statistically significant excess above the Standard Model expectation was observed. The exclusion mass limits of 1.15 and 1.35 TeV/c 2 were obtained for the chiral neutral Z* and charged W* bosons, respectively. These are the first direct limits on the W* and Z* boson production. Based on the above, a novel strategy for the chiral boson search in the LHC dijet data is discussed. For almost all currently considered exotic models the relevant signal is expected in the central dijet rapidity region y 1,2 ? 0 and |y 1 ? y 2| ? 0. On the contrary, the chiral bosons do not contribute to this region but produce an excess of dijet events far away from it. In particular, for these bosons the appropriate kinematical restrictions lead to a dip in the centrality ratio distribution over the dijet invariant mass instead of a bump expected in the most exotic models.  相似文献

The results of analysis of the spectral characteristics of short-wave radiation sources operating on transitions in argon, krypton, and xenon monohalogenides, as well as chlorine molecules, excited by a longitudinal low-pressure glow discharge are considered. Radiation emitted by ArCl*, KrCl*, XeCl*, Cl 2 ** , and Cl 2 * molecules in a spectral range of 170–350 nm is optimized using complex working mixtures of Ar-Kr-(Xe)-Cl2 in the lamps. The average radiation power of the lamps ranges from 1 to 10 W for an efficiency of ≤25%. Optimization of wide-band lamps on transitions in chlorine molecules and the decay products of Freon-12 molecules (CF2Cl2) is carried out on mixtures of helium with chlorine and Freon-12 molecules. This makes it possible to develop lamps emitting in a spectral range of 140–270 nm and containing no costly inert gases (Xe or Kr) in their working mixtures. Exciplex halogen lamps with a wide-band emission spectrum in the VUV-UV range can be used in spectrometers as radiation sources in experiments with absorption and in high-energy chemistry, ecology, and medicine.  相似文献

In relativistic heavy ion collisions, the fluctuations of initial entropy density convert to the correlations of final state hadrons in momentum space through the collective expansion of strongly interacting QCD matter. Using a (3+1)D viscous hydrodynamic program, CLVisc, we consider whether the nuclear structure, which provides initial state fluctuations as well as correlations, can affect the final state of heavy ion collisions, and whether one can find signals of α cluster structures in oxygen using final state observables in \begin{document}$ ^{16}\text{O}+{}^{16}\text{O} $\end{document} collisions at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. For the initial nucleon distributions in oxygen nuclei, we compare three different configurations, a tetrahedral structure with four-α clusters, the deformed Woods-Saxon distribution, and a spherical symmetric Woods-Saxon distribution. Our results show that the charged multiplicity as a function of centrality and the elliptic flow at the most central collisions using the four-α structure differs from those with the Woods-Saxon and deformed Woods-Saxon distributions, which may help to identify α clustering structures in oxygen nuclei.  相似文献

In the two-quark model supposition for K0*(1430), which can be viewed as either the first excited state (Scenario Ⅰ) or the lowest lying state (Scenario Ⅱ), the branching ratios and the direct CP-violating asymmetries for decays Bs0→K0*0(1430)η(') are studied by employing the perturbative QCD factorization approach. We find the following results: (a) The CP averaged branching ratios of Bs0→K0*0(1430)η and Bs0→K0*0(1430)η' are small and both in the order of 10-7. If one views K0*(1430) as the lowest lying state, B (Bs0→K0*0(1430)η)≈3.9×10-7 and B (Bs0→K0*0(1430)η')≈7.8×10-7. (b) While the direct CP-violating asymmetries of these two decays are not small: if we still take the parameters of K0*(1430) in scenario Ⅱ, ACPdir (Bs0→K0*0(1430)η)≈56.2% and ACPdir (Bs0→K0*0(1430)η')≈2.4%. (c) The annihilation contributions will play an important role in accounting for future data, because both the branching ratios and the direct CP asymmetries of these two decays are sensitive to the annihilation type contributions.  相似文献

To measure the R value in an energy scan experiment with e+e- collisions, precise calculation of initial state radiation is required in the event generators. We present an event generator for this consideration, which incorporates initial state radiation effects up to second order accuracy. The radiative correction factor is calculated using the totally hadronic Born cross section. The measured exclusive processes are generated according to their cross sections, while the unknown processes are generated using the LUND Area Law model, and its parameters are tuned with data collected at √s=3.65 GeV. The optimized values are validated with data in the range √s=2.2324-3.671 GeV. These optimized parameters are universally valid for event generation below the DD threshold.  相似文献

We have studied the forward–backward correlations of charged-particle multiplicities in symmetric bins in pseudorapidity space in order to gain insight into the underlying correlations structure of particle production in case of ring-like and jet-like events of 16O–AgBr interactions at 60 AGeV. The variance σc 2 of a suitably defined the forward-backward asymmetry variable C has been determined. The experimental results confirm correlations of the produced particles in the forward and the backward pseudorapidity region for both ring-like and jet-like events.  相似文献

Absolutely calibrated emission spectroscopy has been used to determine the particle number densities of XeCl*(B), XeCl*(C), and Xe2Cl* in a small scale Ne/Xe/HCl discharge with well-defined current and voltage pulses for a wide range of parameters. The measured particle number densities could be reproduced quite well by numerical model calculations using the rate-coefficient values of Quiñones et al. [1] for the quenching of XeCl*(B,C) by Ne, Xe, and 2Xe, but 3.0 × 10–31 cm6/s for the formation of Xe2Cl* by (Ne + Xe)-quenching. For the electron quenching, we recommend a rate coefficient value of 3.2 × 10–8 cm3/s. From the equilibrium ratio of the particle number densities of XeCl*(C) and XeCl*(B), the energy separation between these states has been estimated to be 72 ± 33 cm–1 with the B state placed above the C state.  相似文献

We perform a systematical study of possible molecular states composed of the S wave heavy light mesons, where the S–D mixing and η-η' mixing are explicitly included. Our calculation indicates that the observed X(3872) could be a loosely shallow molecular state composed of D*+ h.c,while neither Z_c(3900)/Z_c(4020) nor Z_b(10610)/Z_b(10650) is supported to be a molecule. Some observed possible molecular states are predicted, which could be searched for by further experimental measurements.  相似文献

A search for deeply bound pionic states of xenon produced in the 136Xe(d, 3He)135Xeπ-bound reaction at E d = 500 MeV is reported. The population of the 1s pionic-atom state of 135Xe is observed on the predicted level of the cross section ~ 40 μb/sr. The binding energy of the 1s state, B = 2.9 ± 0.5 MeV, however, is lower than theoretically predicted.  相似文献

The particle density at mid-rapidity is an essential global variable for the characterization of nuclear collisions at ultra-relativistic energies. It provides information about the initial conditions and energy density reached in these collisions. The pseudorapidity densities of charged particles at mid-rapidity in AuAu collisions at √s NN = 130 and 200 GeV at RHIC (relativistic heavy ion collider) have been measured with the PHENIX detector. The measurements were performed using sets of wire-chambers with pad readout in the two central PHENIX tracking arms. Each arm covers one quarter of the azimuth in the pseudorapidity interval |η| < 035. Data is presented and compared with results from proton-proton collisions and nucleus-nucleus collisions at lower energies. Extrapolations to LHC energies are discussed.  相似文献

The spectra of Xe2, XeKr, and XeAr molecules in the range 66 500–68 800 cm?1 are obtained by the methods of (2 + n) and (3 + n) (n = 1, 2, 3) resonance multiphoton ionization during the registration of molecular and atomic ions. The combining of two-and three-photon resonance excitations of Xe2 molecules makes it possible to obtain the spectra caused by transitions from the ground state X0 g + to the excited states of Xe*6s[3/2] 1,2 o Xe1 S 0 molecules both of the even (0 g + , 1 g ) and of the odd (B0 u + , B′1 u , 2 u ) symmetries. The data on the Ω = 2 u state of the Xe2 molecule with the dissociation limit Xe*6s[3/2] 2 o + Xe1 S 0 and on the Ω = 1 state of the XeAr molecule with the dissociation limit Xe*6s[3/2] 1 o + Ar1 S 0 are obtained for the first time. The potential curve of the excited 2 u state of the Xe*6s[3/2] 2 o Xe1 S 0 molecule is repulsive and intersects the potential curve of the B0 u + state of the Xe*6s[3/2] 1 o Xe1 S 0 molecule. In the case of the three-photon excitation, it is observed that all the bands in the spectra of XeKr and XeAr molecules are broadened and are shifted, which indicates that, in an intense light field, the influence of the dynamic Stark effect is significant.  相似文献

We have measured the lifetimes of 10 Rydberg states from 6s8d 1 D 2 to 6s 17d 1D2 in the Ba I spectrum by time-resolved recording of the exponential decay of the resonance fluorescence in an atomic beam. The excitation was performed by use of two pulsed dye lasers simultaneously pumped by one nitrogen laser. The lifetime results differ strongly from Coulomb approximation calculations and show deviations from a(n *)3-dependence.  相似文献
