Abstract In this article, approaches reported in the literature for multi-parameter measurement relying on fiber grating technology are reviewed. Due to its importance, the particular case of temperature/strain simultaneous measurement is addressed in further detail, as well as the techniques and sensing heads for temperature-independent strain measurement. Theoretical and Experimental Study of a Code-Division Multiplexing Fiber Bragg Grating Sensor System
AbstractA novel scheme for a code-division multiplexing based fiber Bragg grating sensor system is theoretically analyzed and experimentally demonstrated. The results show that the proposed scheme enables an improved signal-to-noise ratio performance compared with the time-division multiplexing method and that spontaneous–spontaneous beating noise should be included in the analysis to avoid overestimation. The simple and effective setup provides a competitive approach for using fiber Bragg grating sensors in practical application systems. 相似文献

介绍了一种新型的光纤光栅温度传感器。这种光纤光栅温度传感器使用了特殊的工艺将光纤布拉格光栅封装于一种热膨胀系数较大的有机聚合物基底中 ,使得传感器的温度灵敏性比裸光纤光栅提高了 12 .3倍 ,其温度灵敏度系数KT 达到 82 .6 9× 10 -6/℃。在 - 80~ 0℃的低温度范围内 ,对这种新型光纤光栅温度传感器的反射谱进行了测量。研究了这种新型光纤光栅温度传感器的低温特性 ,并与裸光纤光栅和铝基封装的光纤光栅进行了比较 ,结果表明这种新型的光纤光栅温度传感器具有很好的低温响应特性。 相似文献

传感元件与复合材料的一体化是智能结构研究的最终目标之一。设计一种具有自诊断功能的标准化、模块化光纤智能夹层系统,正是实现这种一体化最有潜力的技术途径。采用聚酰亚胺薄膜制作了基于光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)传感器的光纤光栅智能夹层,对智能夹层中光纤布拉格光栅传感器的应变、温度特性进行了标定试验,并建立了基于光纤布拉格光栅传感器光纤光栅智能夹层的应变、温度测量模型。试验表明,智能夹层内布拉格光栅波长偏移与应变、温度之间具有良好的线性关系。不过在温度测量时,必须考虑被埋人结构的热膨胀效应。利用光纤光栅智能夹层内光纤布拉格光栅传感器网络和先进信息处理技术,可以建立结构损伤主动、在线和实时监测系统。 相似文献

Abstract A fiber optic sensing system for simultaneous measurement of refractive index and temperature, based on a hybrid fiber Bragg grating/long-period grating arrangement is described. The experimental results show that this setup has a good performance in terms of linearity and sensitivity, the ratiometric output changes 4%/0.001 RIU and 3.6%/°C, respectively. The sensor resolution for the refractive index is ≈2 × 10?5 RIU. The simultaneous measurement of the refractive index and temperature was demonstrated. The sensing configuration has the ability to be read-out in reflection and works in the telecommunications window. 相似文献

提出了一种新型的光纤光栅压力增敏封装技术——边孔封装技术,它通过改变封装体的几何结构实现了高倍数的压力增敏效果,较大程度减小了压力增敏倍数对聚合物材料参量的依赖性。采用有限元理论建立了边孔封装结构的压力传感模型,分析了封装体几何结构变化对封装后压力灵敏度的影响。采用聚合物材料进行了封装制作实验,测量结果表明封装后光纤光栅的压力灵敏度为5251 pm/MPa,是封装前压力灵敏度的1750倍,并将交叉敏感问题改善了近三个数量级,可满足高精度水下压力测量的应用要求。 相似文献
