Constrained diffusions, with diffusion matrix scaled by small ?>0, in a convex polyhedral cone GRk, are considered. Under suitable stability assumptions small noise asymptotic properties of invariant measures and exit times from domains are studied. Let BG be a bounded domain. Under conditions, an “exponential leveling” property that says that, as ?→0, the moments of functionals of exit location from B, corresponding to distinct initial conditions, coalesce asymptotically at an exponential rate, is established. It is shown that, with appropriate conditions, difference of moments of a typical exit time functional with a sub-logarithmic growth, for distinct initial conditions in suitable compact subsets of B, is asymptotically bounded. Furthermore, as initial conditions approach 0 at a rate ?2 these moments are shown to asymptotically coalesce at an exponential rate.  相似文献

In this paper we define time dependent parabolic Reifenberg domains and study Lp estimates for weak solutions of uniformly parabolic equations in divergence form on these domains. The basic assumption is that the principal coefficients are of parabolic BMO space with small parabolic BMO seminorms. It is shown that Lp estimates hold for time dependent parabolic δ-Reifenberg domains.  相似文献

We construct and analyze in a very general way time inhomogeneous (possibly also degenerate or reflected) diffusions in monotonely moving domains ER×Rd, i.e. if Et?{xRd|(t,x)∈E}, tR, then either EsEt, ∀s?t, or EsEt, ∀s?t, s,tR. Our major tool is a further developed L2(E,m)-analysis with well chosen reference measure m. Among few examples of completely different kinds, such as e.g. singular diffusions with reflection on moving Lipschitz domains in Rd, non-conservative and exponential time scale diffusions, degenerate time inhomogeneous diffusions, we present an application to what we name skew Bessel process on γ. Here γ is either a monotonic function or a continuous Sobolev function. These diffusions form a natural generalization of the classical Bessel processes and skew Brownian motions, where the local time refers to the constant function γ≡0.  相似文献

We establish a criterion for the existence of an invariant measure for Markov processes acting on measures defined on an arbitrary complete separable metric space. This work is concerned with diffusions with two-time scales or singularly perturbed diffusions. Asymptotic expansions of the solution of the associated Cauchy problem for parabolic partial differential equation are obtained and the desired error bounds are derived. This work is devoted to stability of regime-switching diffusion processes. After presenting the formulation of regime-switching diffusions, the notion of stability is recalled, and necessary conditions for pp-stability are obtained. Then main results on stability and instability for systems arising in approximation are presented. Easily verifiable conditions are established. An example is examined as a demonstration. We establish optimal gradient estimates in Orlicz space for a nonhomogeneous elliptic equation of higher order with discontinuous coefficients on a nonsmooth domain. Our assumption is that for each point and for each sufficiently small scale the coefficients have small mean oscillation and the boundary of the domain is sufficiently close to a hyperplane. As a consequence we prove the classical Wm,p, m=1,2,…, 1<p<∞, estimates for such a higher order equation. Our results easily extend to higher order elliptic and parabolic systems.  相似文献

Summary We study an invariance principle for additive functionals of nonsymmetric Markov processes with singular mean forward velocities. We generalize results of Kipnis and Varadhan [KV] and De Masi et al. [De] in two directions: Markov processes are non-symmetric, and mean forward velocities are distributions. We study continuous time Markov processes. We use our result to homogenize non-symmetric reflecting diffusions in random domains.  相似文献

We study optimal W2,p-regularity for fourth-order parabolic equations with discontinuous coefficients in general domains. We obtain the global W2,p-regularity for each 1<p<∞ under the assumption that the coefficients have suitably small BMO semi-norm of weak type and the boundary of the domain is δ-Reifenberg flat. For the one-dimensional telegraph process, we obtain explicitly the distribution of the occupation time of the positive half-line. The long-term limiting distribution is then derived when the initial location of the process is in the range of subnormal or normal deviations from the origin; in the former case, the limit is given by the arcsine law. Consider in Ω the heat flow with initial temperature 0 and boundary temperature 1. The problem we consider is to characterize S in such a way that there exists a stationary isothermic surface in Ω. We show that S must be a hyperplane under some general conditions on S. This is related to Liouville or Bernstein-type theorems for some elliptic Monge-Ampère-type equation.  相似文献
