Let T(△) and B(△) be the Teichmuller space and the infinitesimal Teichmuller space of the unit disk △ respectively. In this paper, we show that [ν]B(△) being an infinitesimal Strebel point does not imply that [ν]T(△) is a Strebel point, vice versa. The authors study the tractability and strong tractability of a multivariate integration problem in the worst case setting for weighted l-periodic continuous functions spaces of d coordinates with absolutely convergent Fourier series.The authors reduce the initial error by a factor ε for functions from the unit ball of the weighted periodic contin- uous functions spaces.Tractability is the minimal number of function samples required to solve the problem in polynomial in ε~(-1)and d.and the strong tractability is the pres- ence of only a polynomial dependence in ε.This problem has been recently studied for quasi-Monte Carlo quadrature rules.quadrature rules with non-negative coefficients. and rules for which all quadrature weights are arbitrary for weighted Korobov spaces of smooth periodic functions of d variables.The authors show that the tractability and strong tractability of a multivariate integration problem in worst case setting hold for the weighted periodic continuous functions spaces with absolutely convergent Fourier series under the same assumptions as in Ref.[14]on the weights of the Korobov space for quasi-Monte Carlo rules and rules for which all quadrature weights are non-negative.The arguments are not constructive.  相似文献

A two species Lotka-Volterra competitive system with infinite delays and feedback controls is studied in this paper.By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional,we show that if the Lotka-Volterra competitive system is bistable(in the absence of feedback controls),then by choosing some suitable values of feedback control variables,one of the species is driven to extinction while the other one becomes globally stable.Examples together with their numerical simulations are presented to verify the feasibility of our results.Our results not only improve but also complement those of Z.Li,M.A.Han and F.D.Chen[Influence of feedback controls on an autonomous Lotka-Volterra competitive system with infinite delays,Nonlinear Anal.:Real World Appl.,14(2013),402-413].  相似文献

The dynamics of a single strain HIV model is studied. The basic reproduction number R0 used as a bifurcation parameter shows that the system undergoes transcritical and saddle-node bifurcations. The usual threshold unit value of R0 does not completely determine the eradication of the disease in an HIV infected person. In particular, a sub-threshold value Rc is established which determines the system's number of endemic states: multiple if Rc 〈 Ro 〈 1, only one if Rc=Ro = 1, and none if R0 〈 Rc 〈 1.  相似文献

A topological dynamical system is n-sensitive,if there is a positive constant such that in each non-empty open subset there are n distinct points whose iterates will be apart from the constant at least for a same moment.The properties of n-sensitivity in minimal systems are investigated.It turns out that a minimal system is n-sensitive if and only if the n-th regionally proximal relation Q_n contains a point whose coordinates are pairwise distinct.Moreover,the structure of a minimal system which is n-sensitive but not(n 1)-sensitive(n≥2)is determined.  相似文献

In this paper, a system of reaction-diffusion equations arising in ecoepidemiological systems is investigated. The equations model a situation in which a predator species and a prey species inhabit the same bounded region and the predator only eats the prey with transmissible diseases. Local stability of the constant positive solution is considered. A number of existence and non-existence results about the nonconstant steady states of a reaction diffusion system are given. It is proved that if the diffusion coefficient of the prey with disease is treated as a bifurcation parameter, non-constant positive steady-state solutions may bifurcate from the constant steadystate solution under some conditions.  相似文献

It is very importent for generating an orthonormal multiwavelet system to construct a conjugate quadrature filter(CQF). In this paper, a general method of deriving a length-L 1 conjugate quadrature filter from a length-L conjugate quadrature filter and vice versa is obtained. As a special case, we study generally the construction of any length-L 1 compactly supported symmetric-antisymmetric orthonormal multiwavelet system with multiplicity 2 from a length-L multiwavelet system and vice versa. In shock wave theory there are two considerations in selecting the physically relevant shock waves.There is the admissibility criterion for the well-posedness of hyperbolic conservation laws.Another consideraztion concerns the entropy production across the shochs.The latter is natural from the physical point of view,but is not sufficient in its straightforward formulation,if the system is not genuinely nonlinear.In this paper we propose the principles of increasing entropy production and that of the superposition of shocks.These principles arc shown to be equivalent to the admissibility criterion.  相似文献

We introduce a new class of nonnegative tensors—strictly nonnegative tensors.A weakly irreducible nonnegative tensor is a strictly nonnegative tensor but not vice versa.We show that the spectral radius of a strictly nonnegative tensor is always positive.We give some necessary and su?cient conditions for the six wellconditional classes of nonnegative tensors,introduced in the literature,and a full relationship picture about strictly nonnegative tensors with these six classes of nonnegative tensors.We then establish global R-linear convergence of a power method for finding the spectral radius of a nonnegative tensor under the condition of weak irreducibility.We show that for a nonnegative tensor T,there always exists a partition of the index set such that every tensor induced by the partition is weakly irreducible;and the spectral radius of T can be obtained from those spectral radii of the induced tensors.In this way,we develop a convergent algorithm for finding the spectral radius of a general nonnegative tensor without any additional assumption.Some preliminary numerical results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm.  相似文献

For a rectifable Jordan curve Γ with complementary domainsD and D,Anderson conjectured that the Faber operator is a bounded isomorphism between the Besov spaces Bp(1 p ∞) of analytic functions in the unit disk and in the inner domain D,respectively.We point out that the conjecture is not true in the special case p=2,and show that in this case the Faber operator is a bounded isomorphism if and only if Γ is a quasi-circle.  相似文献

This paper studies approximation capability to L2(Rd) functions of incremental constructive feedforward neural networks(FNN) with random hidden units.Two kinds of therelayered feedforward neural networks are considered:radial basis function(RBF) neural networks and translation and dilation invariant(TDI) neural networks.In comparison with conventional methods that existence approach is mainly used in approximation theories for neural networks,we follow a constructive approach to prove that one may simply randomly choose parameters of hidden units and then adjust the weights between the hidden units and the output unit to make the neural network approximate any function in L2(Rd) to any accuracy.Our result shows given any non-zero activation function g :R+→R and g(x Rd) ∈ L2(Rd) for RBF hidden units,or any non-zero activation function g(x) ∈ L2(Rd) for TDI hidden units,the incremental network function fn with randomly generated hidden units converges to any target function in L2(Rd) with probability one as the number of hidden units n→∞,if one only properly adjusts the weights between the hidden units and output unit.  相似文献

An M[X]/G/1 retrial G-queue with single vacation and unreliable server is investigated in this paper. Arrivals of positive customers form a compound Poisson process, and positive customers receive service immediately if the server is free upon their arrivals; Otherwise, they may enter a retrial orbit and try their luck after a random time interval. The arrivals of negative customers form a Poisson process. Negative customers not only remove the customer being in service, but also make the server under repair. The server leaves for a single vacation as soon as the system empties. In this paper, we analyze the ergodical condition of this model. By applying the supplementary variables method, we obtain the steady-state solutions for both queueing measures and reliability quantities.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the well-posedness and large-time behavior of a two-dimensional PDE-ODE hybrid chemotaxis system describing the initiation of tumor angiogenesis. We first transform the system via a Cole-Hopf type transformation into a parabolic-hyperbolic system and then show that the solution to the transformed system converges to a constant equilibrium state as time tends to infinity. Finally we reverse the Cole-Hopf transformation and obtain the relevant results for the pre-transformed PDE-ODE hybrid system.In contrast to the existing related results, where continuous initial data is imposed, we are able to prove the asymptotic stability for discontinuous initial data with large oscillations. The key ingredient in our proof is the use of the so-called "effective viscous flux", which enables us to obtain the desired energy estimates and regularity. The technique of the "effective viscous flux" turns out to be a very useful tool to study chemotaxis systems with initial data having low regularity and was rarely(if not) used in the literature for chemotaxis models.  相似文献

The author gives a mild integral condition in a nondecreasing function K : [0, ∞) → [0, ∞), which is sufficient and the best possible to ensure that f is a Bloch function if and only if f belongs to QK, a Mbius-invariant space of functions analytic in the unit disk. This paper concerns a discrete-time Geo/Geo/1 retrial queue with both positive and negative customers where the server is subject to breakdowns and repairs due to negative arrivals. The arrival of a negative customer causes one positive customer to be killed if any is present, and simultaneously breaks the server down. The server is sent to repair immediately and after repair it is as good as new. The negative customer also causes the server breakdown if the server is found idle, but has no effect on the system if the server is under repair. We analyze the Markov chain underlying the queueing system and obtain its ergodicity condition. The generating function of the number of customers in the orbit and in the system are also obtained, along with the marginal distributions of the orbit size when the server is idle, busy or down. Finally, we present some numerical examples to illustrate the influence of the parameters on several performance characteristics of the system.  相似文献

An autonomous stage-structured ratio-dependent cooperative system, which was proposed by Muhammadhaji, Teng and Abdurahman, is revisited in this paper. By introducing a new lemma and using the iterative method, a set of sufficient conditions which guarantee the global attractivity of the positive equilibrium is obtained. It is shown that the conditions which guarantee the permanence of the system are enough to ensure the global attractivity of the system. Our result not only complements but also supplements one of the main results of Muhammadhaji, Teng and Abdurahman (Permanence and extinction analysis for a delayed ratio-dependent cooperative system with stage structure, Afr.
