合成并表征了系列水溶性五甲川菁染料, 研究了其在不同溶剂中的光谱性能. 结果表明, 染料在水中的最大吸收和荧光光谱在647~665 nm波长范围内, 荧光量子产率达到0.1左右. 考察了N位取代基对染料水溶液光稳定性的影响, 结果表明, 在N原子上引入带有苯环结构和大体积的磺酸基, 可以提高染料的光稳定性. 高效液相色谱(HPLC)分析结果表明, 染料4a的N-羟基琥珀酰亚胺(NHS)活性酯标记牛血清白蛋白(BSA)的检测限为1.2×10-8 mol/L, 与紫外检测相比, 检测灵敏度提高了近2个数量级.  相似文献

In this communication, the synthesis of three unknown polyfluorinated cyanine dyes and their application as selective markers for mitochondria are presented. By incorporating fluorous side chains into cyanine dyes, their remarkable photophysical properties were enhanced. To investigate their biological application, several different cell lines were incubated with the synthesized cyanine dyes. It was discovered that the presented dyes can be utilized for selective near-infrared-light (NIR) staining of mitochondria, with very low cytotoxicity determined by MTT assay. This is the first time that polyfluorinated cyanine fluorophores are presented as selective markers for mitochondria. Due to the versatile applications of polyfluorinated fluorophores in bioimaging and materials science, it is expected that the presented fluorophores will be stimulating for the scientific community.  相似文献

Three groups of dyes were synthesized and characterized in order to examine their solubility, absorption spectrum, and order parameter in liquid crystal hosts. Our synthesis method allowed the formation of the diazonium salts and the diazo coupling in ethyl acetate instead of an aqueous medium, permitting the formation of long and neutral azo dyes. In the liquid crystal BDH-E7, they showed order parameters in the range of 0.52 to 0.76. The two dyes with the longest molecular lengths were particularly interesting due to their very broad absorption spectra in the visible region. Each of these two compounds behave as single component black dye guest/host systems, which generally require a mixture of two or three dyes in the liquid crystal host. These dyes were also evaluated for use in polymer dispersed liquid crystal films.  相似文献

Subphthalocyanine and subnaphthalocyanine dyes and their mixture were investigated by means of the spectroscopic and photoelectric methods. Absorption, fluorescence, steady-state and time-resolved photothermal measurements for the dyes and their mixture were done in order to get information about the radiative and non-radiative deactivation processes as competetive processes to charge separation. It was shown that energy transfer between the dyes improved the photocurrent generation in photoelectrochemical cells (PEC) based on In(2)O(3) and SnO(2) as an electrode. The possible participation of the dye triplet states in non-radiative processes was discussed.  相似文献

Two new azo dyes of alpha-isoxazolylazo-beta-diketones and their Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes with blue-violet light wavelength were synthesized using a coupling component, different diazo components and metal (II) ions (Ni2+ and Cu2+). Based on the elemental analysis, MS spectra and FT-IR spectral analyses, azo dyes were unequivocally shown to exist as hydrazoketo and azoenol forms which were respectively obtained from the solution forms and from the solid forms. The action of sodium methoxide (NaOMe) on azo dyes in solutions converts hydrazoketo form into azoenol form, so azo dyes are coordinated with metal (II) ions as co-ligands in the azoenol forms. The solubility of all the compounds in common organic solvents such as 2,2,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propanol (TFP) or chloroform (CHCl3) and absorption properties of spin-coating thin films were measured. The difference of absorption maxima from the complexes to their ligands was discussed. In addition, the TG analysis of the complexes was also determined, and their thermal stability was evaluated. It is found that these new metal (II) complexes had potential application for high-density digital versatile disc-recordable (HD-DVD-R) system due to their good solubility in organic solvents, reasonable and controllable absorption spectra in blue-violet light region and high thermal stability.  相似文献

用方酸与不同的N烷基取代吲哚啉季铵盐缩合制备了一系列对称的水溶性方酸菁染料. 通过核磁共振氢谱和质谱对合成的染料结构进行了表征, 研究了它们在不同溶剂中的吸收和发射光谱. 结果表明, 随着溶剂极性的增大, 染料的吸收光谱发生蓝移, 表现为负向溶剂化效应, 在极性溶剂中的荧光量子产率比在水中的大. 考察了N位取代基对染料水溶液光稳定性的影响, 结果表明在吲哚环N原子上引入较大的苄基有助于提高光稳定性, 且随着苄基上取代基吸电子能力的增强, 染料的光稳定性增强.  相似文献

Azorubin (E 122), Ponceau 4R (E 124) and Allura red (E 129), are the most used red dyes in soft drinks manufacturing, and in some cases two dyes are present. The aim of this work is to show that using differential pulse polarography, it was possible to distinguish these synthetic dyes from the natural dyes providing from fruits. In addition, in an appropriate supporting electrolyte, identification and quantitative analysis of these three red dyes were possible, even when they were mixed. Various electrolytes were tested such as potassium chloride, which is a classical supporting electrolyte, citric acid which is one of the components of the soft beverages, sodium citrate and a phosphate buffer. It was shown that the peak intensities and potentials, and consequently their resolution, depend greatly on the pH values. In potassium chloride and sodium citrate the peaks of Azorubin, Allura red and Ponceau 4R were well separated and dyes were identified without ambiguity. Buffer solutions with pH close to 8 and 9 appeared to be appropriate, as the potentials and the intensities of the peaks were slightly changed when small amounts of soft drinks, usually at pH close to 3, were introduced in the cell. A procedure using the standard addition technique was developed, tested with model syrups and then applied to commercial syrups, soda and non-alcoholic bitters.  相似文献

Simultaneous determination of eleven dyes and their aluminum lakes in drugs   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
A 3-step extraction method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 11 dyes and their aluminum lakes in drugs. The dyes were first extracted with warm water (approximately 60 degrees C) and were cleaned up by solid-phase extraction with a tC18 cartridge. Aluminum lake dyes that remained in the precipitate were extracted with 0.02M NaOH. Aluminum in the dye lakes was reextracted into the organic layer with acetylacetone-butyl acetate (1 + 9, v/v), as an acetylacetone chelate, and was quantified by atomic absorption spectrometry. The dye portions of the aluminum lakes remained in the aqueous layer and were cleaned up in the same way as the dyes. The dyes and the dye portions of the aluminum lakes were quantified by ion-pair liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector within 20 min. The recoveries of dyes from drug fortified at 10 microg of each dye per pill were 87.0-102.2%, and the recoveries of dyes from drugs fortified at 50 microg of each dye lake per pill were 82.9-101.6%, except for recoveries of indigo carmine. In 40 ethical and over-the-counter drugs, dyes that were not indicated in the package insert information for drugs were detected in 5 samples. The highest amount of dye found in a drug was 1169.5 microg erythrosine, which was detected in a capsule of antibiotic. Aluminum lake dyes were detected in 8 samples of various dosage forms.  相似文献

Long wavelength voltage-sensitive dyes (VSDs) called Pittsburgh (PGH) dyes were recently synthesized by coupling various heterocyclic groups to a styryl-thiophene intermediate forming extended, partially rigid chromophores. Unlike most styryl VSDs, dyes with a sulfonic acid anchor directly attached to the chromophore showed no solvatochromic absorption shifts. The limited water solubility of many long wavelength VSDs requires the use of surfactants to transport the dye through physiological saline solutions and effectively label biological membranes. Here, we tested the chemical substitution of the sulfonic acid moiety with polyethyleneglycol (PEG) chains, ranging from MW 750 to 5000, to overcome the poor solubility of VSDs while retaining their properties as VSDs. The chemical synthesis of PGH dyes and their PEG derivatives are described. The PEG derivatives were soluble in aqueous solutions (>1 mM) and still reported membrane potential changes. In frog and mouse hearts, the voltage sensitivity (DeltaF/F per action potential) and spectral properties of PEG dyes were the same as the sulfonated analogues. Thus, the solubility of VSDs can be considerably improved with small polyethyleneglycol chains and can provide an effective approach to improve staining of excitable tissues and optical recordings of membrane potential.  相似文献

With the objective of developing near-infrared fluorescence probes for biological applications, a few squaraine dyes 3a-d, containing amphiphilic substituents, were synthesized and their photophysical properties have been investigated in the presence and absence of the organized media. These dyes exhibited absorption in the range 630-650 nm, with significant absorption coefficients (epsilon = 1-3 x 10(5) M(-1) cm(-1)) in the aqueous medium. The fluorescence spectra of these dyes showed emission maximum from 660 to 675 nm, depending on the nature of substituents. The fluorescence quantum yields were in the range from 0.15 to 0.21 in ethanol, but 10 times lower values were observed (phi(f) = 0.01-0.02) in the aqueous medium. In the presence of micelles such as cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, sodium dodecyl sulfate, and Triton X-100, these dyes showed negligible changes in their absorption properties, whereas a significant enhancement (5-10-folds) in their fluorescence yields was observed. Picosecond time-resolved studies indicated that these dyes show single-exponential decay in ethanol and ethanol-water mixtures; however, they exhibit biexponential decay with longer lifetimes in the presence of the micellar media. The results indicate that these novel amphiphilic squaraine dyes 3a-d, which exhibit favorable photophysical properties, good solubility in the aqueous medium, and interact efficiently with micelles, can have potential biological applications as near-infrared fluorescence sensors.  相似文献

Structurally diverse near-infrared (NIR) absorbing polymethine dyes were prepared and their fluorescence lifetimes (FLT) were evaluated in relation to their structural features. Comparative FLT analysis based on the modification of methine chain length and heterocyclic system showed that indolium or benzo[e]indolium heptamethine dyes exhibited longer FLT than the benzo[c,d]indolium trimethine dye. Modification of heterocyclic system alone with an intact chain length showed that indolium-based heptamethine dyes showed approximately 30% longer FLT than the benzo[e]indolium-based dyes. In general, the FLT of polymethine dyes increased from polar to non-polar solvents. In addition, correlation study between the theoretical and the experimental FLT for indocyanine green (ICG) suggests that the lack of structural rigidity for these cyanine dyes is primarily responsible for the loss of the excited state energy via non-radiative pathway.  相似文献

Organoboron complexes are of interest as chromophores for dye sensitizers owing to their light‐harvesting and carrier‐transporting properties. In this study, compounds containing boron β‐ketoiminate (BKI) as a chromophore were synthesized and used as dye sensitizers in dye‐sensitized solar cells. The new dyes were orange or red crystals and showed maximum absorptions in the 410–450 nm wavelength region on titanium dioxide substrates. These electrodes exhibited maximum efficiencies of over 80% in incident photon‐to‐current conversion efficiency spectra, suggesting that the continuous process of light absorption‐excitation‐electron injection was effectively performed. Open‐circuit photovoltages were relatively high owing to the large dipole moments of the BKI dyes with a linear molecular structure. Thus, a maximum power conversion efficiency of 5.3% was successfully observed. Comparison of BKI dyes with boron β‐diketonate dyes revealed certain differences in solution stability, spectral properties, and photovoltaic characteristics.  相似文献

Naphthalene diimides (NDIs) are promising candidate for electron acceptors due to their low-lying HOMOs and LUMOs. The functinalization of soluble NDIs at the 2,6-position affects the absorption and electrochemical properties. In this study, NDI-based hybrid dyes NDI-SQ-A, B fused with squaraine chromophore were designed and synthesized in order to elucidate the effects of the substitution on their optical and electrochemical properties. These dyes were successfully synthesized by Stille coupling reactions using 3-stannylcyclobutenediones and brominated NDI derivative, followed by a condensation reaction. DFT calculation predicts that the present dyes adopt distorted structures coming from a steric hindrance between semisquaraine and NDI moieties. The hybrid dyes show low-lying LUMOs due to the introduction of electron-deficient NDI moiety and broad absorption spectra in the far-red region. The absorption spectra of their thin films were bathochromically shifted relative to those in solution, indicating that hybrid dyes formed J aggregates.  相似文献

The visible absorption spectra of two oxazine dyes, brilliant cresyl blue and nile blue, in aqueous and aqueous urea solutions (0.01-1 M) were studied as a function of the dye concentration. Due to structural similarity of the investigated dyes, their spectral features were compared. The dimerization behavior of the dyes in water with or without urea was analyzed in terms of monomer-dimer equilibrium. The nature and structure of the interacting pairs for these dyes were discussed using the exciton theory. The dimerization constant values of the dyes in aqueous and aqueous urea solutions were calculated. For both the dyes in aqueous urea solutions, a reduction in dimer formation was observed. The excitonic parameters were compared with those of oxazine-1, which is structurally similar to the investigated dyes.  相似文献

Dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide (DBTOO) derivatives have recently been shown to processes utility as fluorescent cell dyes. In an effort to extend the functionality of DBTOO-based dyes to include the visualization of cellular membranes, two lipophilic DBTOO were synthesized and their ability to incorporate into the plasma membrane of HeLa cells was examined by fluorescent microscopy. The photophysical properties of the two new DBTOO derivatives were determined and both have good fluorescent quantum yields and a visible blue emission. Due to agreeable wavelengths of excitation and emission, a standard 4′,6-diamindino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) filter set worked well with these dyes. After co-staining, it was confirmed that both DBTOO dyes localized in the plasma membrane. The quality of the overlap was quantified using Pearson correlation coefficient, which indicated a strong overlap between the DBTOO dyes and the standard plasma membrane dye. The novel dyes also displayed relatively low toxicity to the HeLa cells with IC50 between 10 and 100 µm . Thus, this work reports a new use of DBTOO derivatives as fluorescent microscopy stains.  相似文献
