光纤菲佐传感器频分复用网络解调方法研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为了减小光纤菲佐传感器间的串扰,提高传感器网络的复用能力,提出了基于Pisarenko正弦波恢复法的光纤菲佐应变传感器频分复用网络光谱解调方案。在多光束干涉原理的基础上,建立了基于Pisarenko正弦波恢复方法的传感器频分复用解调模型,并对2个光纤菲佐传感器的串扰进行了实验研究。快速傅里叶变换能够达到应变精度好于±10με的传感器间最小腔长差约为500μm,而该方法可以把最小腔长差缩短至100μm左右。这意味着系统的复用能力提高了大约5倍。因此,该方法是一种串扰小、复用能力强的解调方法,在大容量准分布式传感网络中具有极大的潜在应用价值。  相似文献

A fiber-optic chemical sensor (FOCS) for detection of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) molecules is reported. The FOCS presents an optropode structure because of the transmission properties of the sensitive material. The NO2 FOCS is activated by using the semiconductor polymer: regioregular head-to-tail poly(3-octylthiophene-2,5-diyl). The operation wavelength of the sensor is 543.5 nm such that a simple LED and detector can be used for the design of this device. The sensor response decreases after each exposure, demonstrating the reduction in sensitivity as well as irreversibility lower than 5%. However, its properties such as rapid response, high selectivity, high sensitivity (0.43 ± 0.01 muW/ppm), hygroscopic properties, and its operation at room temperature make this kind of FOCS a good alternative for NO2 toxic gas detection.  相似文献

提出了一种改进型边缘滤波波长解调技术,解决干涉型或谐振型光纤传感器输出的干涉谱波长的快速解调问题。该波长解调技术基于啁啾光栅和长周期光栅的光谱特点,以啁啾光栅作为矩形滤波器,提取传感器输出干涉谱的一个干涉峰;以长周期作为边缘滤波器,将干涉峰的波长信息转化为光强信息进行检测。该波长解调技术波长解调范围为传感器输出干涉谱的一个自由光谱范围(FSR),解调速度快,克服了当前波长解调技术中存在的测量范围与测量速度难以同时提高的问题,同时还具有系统成本低 ,体积小,能够灵活多路扩展的特点。详细介绍了解调系统的工作原理以及系统结构,并将其实际应用于一种干涉型光纤电流传感器输出干涉谱的波长解调中。通过实验证明电流传感器工作在工频及脉冲电流(脉冲宽度25 μs)情况下,该解调系统对传感器输出干涉谱具有准确、快速的解调效果。该研究对推进干涉或谐振型光纤传感器的实际工程化水平的提高具有重要意义。  相似文献

A demodulation algorithm for spatial-frequency-division-multiplexed fiber-optic Fizeau strain sensor networks with a large number of sensors is proposed to effectively reduce the cross talk between any two adjacent sensors and hence substantially enhance the multiplexing capability of the network, which is based on the Pisarenko algorithm. The cross talk between two fiber-optic Fizeau sensors is investigated experimentally. The experimental results show that a strain accuracy of better than +/-10 micro permittivity can be achieved even when the cavity length difference is approximately 100 microm. It was demonstrated that the multiplexing capability of the spatial-frequency-division-multiplexed fiber-optic Fizeau sensor network can be approximately 5 times greater than that of the conventional fast-Fourier-transform algorithm, and this can lead to achievement of a sensing network with a multiplexing capability of as many as 1000 Fizeau sensors.  相似文献

A Michelson-based fiber-optic low-coherence interferometric quasi-distributed sensing system permitting absolute length measurement in a sensor array is proposed. The main part of the sensing system is a fiberoptic 3 x 3 star coupler. The architecture of fiber-optic sensors can be easily realized as a linear sensor array, twin sensor arrays, or a loop sensor array. The proposed sensing scheme will be useful for the measurement of strain distribution. An important application could be deformation sensing in smart structures. A novel fiber-optic current sensing scheme is proposed by converting the Faraday rotation to the optical signal's degree of polarization (DOP) change. In this scheme, the lightwave passes through a fiber resonant cavity multiply and experiences Faraday rotation simultaneously. Its main merit is immunity from the environment disturbance to the fiber used in ordinary Faraday rotation sensor. Brief theoretical analysis and simulation are given to show its basic characteristics. Experimental results are demonstrated and the feasibility of the proposed method is also shown.  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate an optical voltage sensing scheme based on a macrobending optical fiber in a ratiometric power measurement system. This novel approach to sensing has not been utilized before and has the advantage that the sensor involves simple fabrication compared to existing fiber-optic voltage sensors. To prove the feasibility of such a fiber-optic sensor, a sensor for a voltage range from 0∼100 V is demonstrated, with a resolution of 0.5 V. The sensor is robust, linear, and shows a competitive measurement resolution. The sensor can be easily scaled to suit other voltage levels and be effectively combined with optical current sensors.  相似文献

根据单模光纤耦合器的耦合比对耦合区长度变化敏感的特点,提出了一种耦合型光纤振动传感器,并设计了相应的解调系统对传感器的响应进行光电转换和信号处理.进行了静态和动态测试并给出了传感器在振动和冲击激励下的响应曲线,实验结果和压电传感器的测量结果相吻合.结果表明,耦合型光纤振动传感器不仅满足振动测量的要求,而且具有测量准确度高,制作简单,成本较低等优点.  相似文献

A novel fiber-optic curvature sensor, which can measure curvature directly, has been developed in recent years. The electric current measurements system based on fiber-optic curvature sensor and electromagnetic principle is developed. A fiber-optic curvature sensor is bonded to a thin-walled cantilever and two circular magnet targets with the same parameters are configured at the tip of the cantilever symmetrically. In this case, the throughput of the sensor will be changed due to the bending deformation of cantilever, which is proportional to the electromagnetic force caused by measured electric current. Direct and alternate characteristics of the proposed measurement system are studied experimentally. The results show that the measurement errors are within the range of ±5.5 mA and the corresponding accuracy is within 1% at the current measurement range from −300 mA to 300 mA, which indicate the feasibility of the proposed measurement system.  相似文献

为了消除震动对Sagnac式电流传感器测量结果的影响,提出一种光路改进方法来消除传感器对震动的敏感性,其基本原理是抵消Sagnac效应而不影响法拉第磁光效应。利用琼斯矩阵对改进后的光路结构进行了偏振态分析,理论分析和实验结果吻合,表明改进后的传感器其输出与震动无关。耦合半波片后Sagnac式光纤电流传感器的震动敏感性被消除了,为Sagnac式光纤电流传感器的工程化实现提供了一种可行的方法。  相似文献

从基于对称3×3耦合器的光纤干涉信号中解调出被测物理量,需要经复杂的运算.本文提出用软件来模拟实现了信号的解调,省去了繁杂的模拟运算电路,并且通过软件解调运算,可得到运算中间各过程的波形图,也可以分析出各种误差和产生误差的原因,对硬件解调电路的设计有指导性意义.  相似文献

利用强度调制型光纤传感器容易解调的优势,提出了一种强度调制型光纤液位传感器.传感器由三根无芯光纤组成,其中,无芯光纤1与无芯光纤2串联构成测量臂,无芯光纤3构成参考臂.仿真分析得出,无芯光纤长度每缩短1mm,透射峰波长增加25.46nm.在0~50mm小液位范围内,实验测得传感器在水、5%NaCl、10%NaCl和15%NaCl水溶液四种液体环境中的液位灵敏度分别为0.069 5dB/mm、0.074 73dB/mm、0.077 49dB/mm及0.082 71dB/mm,线性度分别为0.998 25、0.998 49、0.988 11及0.995 13,线性度较高.该传感器可较好地消除光源光功率波动与环境温度变化带来的影响,重复性较好,在石油化工领域有一定的应用潜力.  相似文献

设计了一种应用块状磁光材料与集磁环相结合的集磁式光纤电流传感器。介绍了该传感器的结构及工作原理,构建了光纤电流传感器实验系统并进行了测试。实验结果表明,该集磁式光纤电流传感器在30kV工作电压下可准确实现30kA脉冲或连续电流的测量,为电力系统中高压大电流测量提供了一种切实有效的方法。  相似文献

介绍一种大量程、高分辨率、高稳定的光纤传感位移测量系统。该系统基于反射式强度调制机制,由光发射机、传感器、光接收机三部分组成。系统通过采用调制、解调、窄带滤波,信号支路和参考支路双通道相比测量等技术措施,来保证系统的高稳定性和高分辨率。实验还表明测量中应尽量使用朗伯特平面作为光反射面,以解决二次安装的重复性问题。  相似文献

A tunable Fabry-Perot-resonator-based fiber-optic white-light interferometric quasi-distributed sensing system permitting absolute length measurement in a remote reflective sensor array is proposed and demonstrated. The sensor reflective signals characteristics have been analyzed, and the relationship between light signal intensities and sensors number was given for multiplexing potential evaluation. The proposed sensing scheme will be useful for the measurement of strain distribution. An important application could be deformation sensing in smart structures. A high sensitivity fiber-optic torsion sensor, which can measure twist rate and determine twist direction simultaneously based on a novel ultra-long-period fiber grating (ULPFG) with a period of up to several millimeters, is proposed and demonstrated. Such an ULPFG is fabricated by using the high-frequency CO2 Laser pulses exposure technique. The unique torsion characteristics of the ULPFG are simply analyzed by using the mode coupling theory and the birefringence effect. The experimental results show that the high order resonant wavelengths of the ULPFG have higher torsion sensitivities, which is several times higher than that of the normal LPFG. In addition, an intensity-type demodulation approach used to realize real-time torsion measurement is proposed and demonstrated based on the edge filtering effect of the ULPFG.  相似文献

A fiber-optic polarimetric strain sensor of l(S)=10-cm sensing length with three-wavelength passive quadrature digital phase demodulation is investigated. The demodulation unit uses a superluminescent diode light source with narrow-band interference filters in front of the photodiodes and real-time processing of the interference intensities by an arctan-phase-stepping algorithm. Quasi-static strain sensing is performed during slow periodic compression of a composite reinforced plastic rod with a sensor glued to its surface. The measured displacement sensitivity of delta?/deltal=125 mrad/mum, with a resistive strain gauge as a reference, agrees well with the value of 119 mrad/mum previously determined by fringe-distance measurement [Bock et al., Pure Appl. Opt. 5, 125 (1996)]. Despite a coherence-limited fringe contrast of only a few percent, a linearity of the phase-strain characteristic of the order of 1% and a strain resolution of 2.5muepsilon are demonstrated.  相似文献

A modified phase generation carrier technique used in fiber-optic distributed disturbance sensor (FDDS) is proposed and investigated. The FDDS locates the disturbance by dual Mach–Zehnder (MZ) interferometers, however, the initializing phase error of the two MZ interferometer causes the location errors. For the modified PGC technique, a narrow band analog low pass filter is designed, which solves the problem of facilitating the digital narrow band low pass filter in high speed A/D acquisition. In addition, a special demodulation signal is proposed to demodulate higher-order harmonic, compensate the time delay of the long optical fiber and enhance the signal to noise ratio. It is found that the location errors caused by phase drift can be eliminated in our experiments.  相似文献

To prevent possible threats to public safety and economic loss from chemical leakage accidents, novel chemical sensing techniques for regular monitoring and leakage detection have been developed for various fields. We propose a fiber optic liquid chemical sensor (FOCS) system using specialty optical fibers and an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR), and is based on the leaky wave mode sensing principle. OTDR enables simple multiplexing where individual sensor nodes along the fiber length could be interrogated by a common OTDR. The sensor node in the optical fiber is prepared by removing the desired length of a protective layer using mechanical stripping and chemical etching techniques. A novel laser stripping technique with superior capability to fabricate quasi-distributed dense sensor nodes is devised as well. The FOCS system is further analyzed to characterize the sensor response behavior in relation to the sensor node length and possible environmental and chemical temperature effect. Under the condition satisfying the leaky wave mode principle and within the minimum acceptable refractive index (RI) range by the system, this FOCS system could monitor numerous liquid chemicals with variable refractive indices and has been tested with positive results. In addition, the system shows the possibility for multi-point detection and is further expanded into a hybrid technique capable of estimating the refractive index range of the detected chemical.  相似文献
