Unsaturated lactones

New, biologically active pyrazole derivatives containing an unsaturated -lactone ring were obtained by condensation of 2-(1-etboxycarbonyl-1,3-diketopropyl)-2-buten-4-olides with phenylhydrazine and hydrazine hydrate. Unsaturated Analogues of Phosphorylcholines

Abstract

The vinyl esters of phosphorus acids, containing onium group in β-position, for example, betaines type A and B (X = N, P), have a number of features, attracting to them significant atlention of researchers.^[] First of all, these compounds are interesting as examples of hydrolytically stable inhibitors of acetylcholinesteraze, posessing complex action.     

Efficient synthesis of tertiary amines from secondary amines

Reliable N-alkylations of secondary amines have been developed. By using DIAD and TPP (or PS-TPP) a variety of secondary amines can be converted to the corresponding tertiary amines in good to excellent yields with diverse alkylhalides; no formation of quaternary amine salts are observed. These protocols are amenable to combinatorial chemistry libraries, and are also useful for the syntheses of secondary amines by an acid lysis of the cleavable tertiary amino resins.     

Unsaturated derivatives of trifluoromethanesulfonimide

N-Allyl- and N-propargyltrifluoromethanesulfonimides were synthesized by reaction of trifluoromethanesulfonic anhydride with allylamine and propargylamine. Some reactions of the resulting unsaturated derivatives were studied, in particular bromination, dehydrobromination of the bromination product, and nucleophilic substitution of bromine.

Unsaturated benzo-1,4-dioxane derivatives

Reaction of 6-chloromethylbenzo-1,4-dioxane with triethyl phosphite gives a phosphonate, the condensation of which with aldehyde gives unsaturated compounds containing a benzo-1,4-dioxane ring.     

Synthesis of Unsaturated F-Alkyl Sulfoxides

The action of p-toluenesulfonyl chloride on β-hydroxy-β-F-alkyl sulfoxides and β-hydroxy-γ-F-alkyl sulfoxides in basic medium leads to the α,β-unsaturated sulfoxides and α,β-δ,γ- unsaturated sulfoxides respectively.
