Using two tripartite Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states as the shared channels, we investigate the noise effects on the deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two-qubit state. By unitary matrix decomposition procedure, we first construct the quantum logic circuit of the deterministic joint remote state preparation protocol. Then, we analytically derive the fidelity and the average fidelity for the deterministic joint remote preparation of an arbitrary two- qubit state and of four types of special two-qubit states under the influence of the Pauli noises. It is found that the fidelity depends on the noise types, the qubit-environment coupling strength, and the state to be remotely prepared. Moreover, even if the two GHZ channels are subject to the same environmental noises, the average fidelities for remotely preparing different two-qubit states display different time evolution behaviors. The remote preparation of the identical two-qubit states also shows that the average fidelities affected by different noisy environments exhibit different evolution actions.  相似文献

Phase unwrapping is the process of determining the absolute phase given its principal value. In this paper, we show that morphological image processing techniques can be helpful for solving this problem. The proposed procedure consists of three independent modules. The first aims at extracting a region of interest corresponding to the areas where interferences occur. This is achieved by processing the input interferograms with a combination of morphological opening and closing operators. The second finds the high boundaries of the wrapped fringes by enhancing them with a morphological gradient by erosion. Gaps along the fringe boundaries which would lead to errors in the unwrapped phase map are filled in by a morphological region growing segmentation technique. The third module consists in integrating the wrapped phase while taking into account the segmented fringes.  相似文献

The intermittent behavior at the boundary of phase synchronization in the presence of noise is investigated. It is shown that in a certain range of the coupling parameter and noise intensity, the system experiences the intermittency of needle’s eye- and ring-type intermittencies. The basic results are demonstrated with two unidirectionally coupled Ressler chaotic oscillators.  相似文献

We propose a single-shot phase unwrapping technique using a single wavelength and parallel phase-shifting interferometry. In the proposed technique, an object is illuminated by two laser beams, which are emitted from the same laser, and have different illumination angles and polarizations. Two types of object waves generated by the two beams are separately and simultaneously recorded by a polarization-imaging camera. In the path of the reference wave, an array of phase retarders is placed to implement the parallel phase-shifting technique. A highly accurate three-dimensional shape is reconstructed from a single hologram. We numerically simulated the proposed technique and conducted a preliminary experiment to verify its effectiveness. It was confirmed that millimeter-order height, which was several thousand times the wavelength of the laser, can be reconstructed by the proposed technique without wrapping.  相似文献

Phase-shifting techniques in photoelasticity have a peculiar problem of isoclinic–isochromatic interaction, which lead to ambiguous zones in phase map. A comprehensive discussion on the reason for the formation of ambiguous zones is presented in this paper. A new method is developed to remove this ambiguity in the phase map. The new methodology is validated with theoretically and experimentally generated phase maps. A flexible algorithm for phase unwrapping is developed using tiling. The applicability of this is demonstrated using various benchmark problems consisting of simply and multiply connected bodies and slices cut from stress frozen models.  相似文献

The time-dependent solutions of the mean-field Maxwell-Bloch equations for optical bistability are studied numerically for the deterministic equations and the stochastic equations with additional noise sources. From the solutions of the deterministic equations, a discrete map is constructed showing that the periodic and chaotic solutions form a Feigenbaum scenarium. Inclusion of noise sources leads to a finite lifetime of the states in the upper bistable branch and to destabilization of higher periodic solutions.  相似文献

We present a generic regularized formulation, based on robust half-quadratic regularization, for unwrapping noisy and discontinuous wrapped phase maps. Two cases are presented: the convex case and the nonconvex case. The unwrapped phase with the convex formulation is unique and robust to noise; however, the convex function solution deteriorates as a result of real discontinuities in phase maps. Therefore we also present a nonconvex formulation that, with a parameter continuation strategy, shows superior performance.  相似文献

This paper proposes a novel temporal phase unwrapping method which is a generalization of the three commonly proposed approaches: hierarchical, heterodyne, and number theoretical phase unwrapping. The proposed unwrapping method is based on the orthographic projection of wrapped phases from the measurement space to the space of co-dimension 1. In the space of co-dimension 1 all unknown integer period-order numbers are computed simultaneously using a nearest-neighbor search on a fixed constellation of points. The proposed method offers new key insights about relationship between unwrapping success rate, noise limit, and maximum unwrapping range. We give example how the proposed method may be applied in the multiple frequency phase shifting profilometry.  相似文献

A phase-shifting piezo device commonly employed in phase-shifting interferometry exhibits a nonlinear response to applied voltage. Hence, a method for estimation of phase distribution in the presence of nonlinear phase steps is presented. The proposed method compensates for the harmonics present in the intensity fringe, allows the use of arbitrary phase-step values between 0 and tau rad, and does not impose constraints on the selection of particular phase-step values for minimizing nonlinearity and compensating for the harmonics. The comparison of the proposed method with other well-known benchmarking algorithms shows that our method is highly efficient and also works well in the presence of noise.  相似文献

Real systems in physics, chemistry and biology are always subject to fluctuations that change qualitatively the systems' dynamics. In particular, rare large fluctuations are responsible for the nucleation at phase transitions, mutations in DNA sequences, protein transport in cells and failure of electronic devices. In many cases of practical interest systems are away from thermal equilibrium, and understanding the fluctuations in such systems is one of the fundamental problems of statistical physics that has challenged researchers for decades. Recent progress in the solution of this problem is closely related to the emerging understanding of patterns of deterministic trajectories underlying non-equilibrium fluctuations. These trajectories correspond to the Hamilton equations of motion written for the asymptotic solution of the Fokker - Planck equation and were often thought of as a mere mathematical abstraction. The possibility of quantitative experiments could not be entertained until the appropriate statistical quantity (prehistory probability distribution) had been introduced. In this paper it is shown how such trajectories can be measured experimentally in a number of systems and how the knowledge of these trajectories can be used to solve long standing problems in the theory of fluctuations and in the control theory.  相似文献

There has been an increasing interest in the automation of fringe analysis over the last decade. In recent years a number of researchers have addressed the problem of automatic phase unwrapping in fringe analysis. The advent of phase stepping and the development of FFT techniques has moved the emphasis in automated techniques away from fringe tracking and towards fringe counting or scanning approaches, but a major difficulty with such scanning techniques has been their susceptibility to noise. However, several alternative noise-immune phase unwrapping strategies have been proposed, but these approaches have not addressed the problems caused by large scale discontinuities such as those produced by aliasing. Other methods have been developed which confront this last difficulty. This paper gives an overview of the phase unwrapping problem and describes fringe tracking, fringe scanning, noise-immune and region processing techniques that have been developed in the search for the fully automated solution.  相似文献

A new phase unwrapping method that has the advantage of unwrapping of phase distribution with severe noise such as those obtained in speckle interferometry is proposed. First, computer simulations were carried out to examine the performance of the proposed method. Speckled noisy data were generated in the computer, and various types of filters having different sizes for the windows were used to carry out the phase unwrapping. It is found that the method is largely capable of phase unwrapping, and it works quite well even when the human eye cannot recognize clearly the phase jumps due to noise. Finally, the present method was applied to experimental phase distribution obtained by the speckle-shearing interferometer. The proposed method is quite simple and effective from the point of computations involved.  相似文献

A wide range of interferometric techniques recover phase information that is mathematically wrapped on the interval (-pi, pi). Obtaining the true unwrapped phase is a longstanding problem. We present an algorithm that solves the phase unwrapping problem, using a combination of Fourier techniques. The execution time for our algorithm is equivalent to the computation time required for performing eight fast Fourier transforms and is stable against noise and residues present in the wrapped phase. We have extended the algorithm to handle data of arbitrary size. We expect the state of the art of existing interferometric applications, including the possibility for real-time phase recovery, to benefit from our algorithm.  相似文献

This work presents a robust algorithm for phase unwrapping. The proposed algorithm is based on the expansion of the estimated phase through a linear combination of a set of Basis Functions. We present a novel weighted robust functional which is minimised using a two step strategy. This model allows us to reduce the influence of noise and to remove inconsistent pixels in the estimation of the unwrapped phase. The proposed model assumes that the phase is smooth. Under this assumption, experiments demonstrate that if the phase is corrupted by high levels of noise, our model presents a better performance than state of the art algorithms. For low levels of noise, the results are comparable.  相似文献

We present, for the first time to the best of our knowledge, a phase unwrapping method based on an algorithm which makes use of Green's first identity. This method aims at recovering the correct phase information encoded in a fringe pattern after digital holography (DH) numerical processing. DH provides a quantitative measurement of the three-dimensional surface profile of objects. The information about the profile can be obtained in principle from the phase-map. However, the measured phase-map provides the actual phase values wrapped mod.2π so that an unwrapping process is required in order to reconstruct the object profile.  相似文献
