This paper investigates the global exponential stability of reaction-diffusion neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays.By constructing a more general type of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional combined with a free-weighting matrix approach and analysis techniques,delay-dependent exponential stability criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained results are dependent on the size of the time-varying delays and the measure of the space, which are usually less conservative than delay-independent and space-independent ones. These results are easy to check, and improve upon the existing stability results. Some remarks are given to show the advantages of the obtained results over the previous results.A numerical example has been presented to show the usefulness of the derived linear matrix inequality(LMI)-based stability conditions.  相似文献

In this Letter, based on the Lyapunov stability theorem as well as some facts about the positive definiteness and inequality of matrices, a new sufficient condition to ensure the global exponential stability of equilibrium point for autonomous delayed CNNs is obtained. This condition is less restrictive than given in the earlier references.  相似文献

This paper focus on the problem of global Lagrange stability for neutral-type inertial neural networks with discrete and distributed time delays. By choosing a proper variable substitution, an inertial neural network consisting of second-order differential equations can be converted into a first-order differential model. The sufficient conditions of the inertial neural network with neutral delay are derived by constructing suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional candidates, introducing new free weighting matrices, utilizing inequality techniques and analytical method. Through the LMI condition, we analyze the global exponential stability of the delayed inertial neural networks in Lagrange sense. Meanwhile, the global exponential attractive set is also given. Finally, some example is given to illustrate our theoretical results.  相似文献

In this Letter, we discuss the global asymptotic stability and exponential stability of the equilibrium point of a class of generalized neural networks with delays. By introducing a new type of Lyapunov functionals and making use of matrix inequality technique, some sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of equilibrium and global exponential stability of the delayed Cohen–Grossberg neural networks are obtained. The conditions of the presented results are less restrictive than those of the earlier literature.  相似文献

In this Letter, we analyze the dynamic behaviors for a class of memristor-based Hopfield networks. Some sufficient conditions are obtained which ensure the essential bound of solutions and global exponential stability of memristor-based Hopfield networks by using analysis approaches, and the criteria act as significant values for qualitative analysis of memristor-based Hopfield networks. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

In this Letter, for a general class of delayed periodic Lotka–Volterra systems, we prove some new results on the existence of positive periodic solutions by Schauder's fixed point theorem. The global asymptotical stability of positive periodic solutions is discussed further, and conditions for exponential convergence are given. The conditions we obtained are weaker than the previously known ones and can be easily reduced to several special cases.  相似文献

This paper studies the global exponential stability of competitive neural networks with different time scales and time-varying delays. By using the method of the proper Lyapunov functions and inequality technique, some sufficient conditions are presented for global exponential stability of delay competitive neural networks with different time scales. These conditions obtained have important leading significance in the designs and applications of global exponential stability for competitive neural networks. Finally, an example with its simulation is provided to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

In this Letter, the generalized Lorenz chaotic system is considered and the state observation problem of such a system is investigated. Based on the time-domain approach, a simple observer for the generalized Lorenz chaotic system is developed to guarantee the global exponential stability of the resulting error system. Moreover, the guaranteed exponential convergence rate can be correctly estimated. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the obtained result.  相似文献

This Letter studies the exponential stability for a class of neural networks (NNs) with both discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Under weaker assumptions on the activation functions, by defining a more general type of Lyapunov functionals and developing a new convex combination technique, new less conservative and less complex stability criteria are established to guarantee the global exponential stability of the discussed NNs. The obtained conditions are dependent on both discrete and distributed delays, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and contain fewer decision variables. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and the less conservatism of the proposed conditions.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of exponential stability for a class of delayed Hopfield neural networks. Based on augmented parameter-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals, new delay-dependent conditions for the global exponential stability are obtained for two cases of time-varying delays: the delays are differentiable and have an upper bound of the delay-derivatives, and the delays are bounded but not necessary to be differentiable. The conditions are presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which allow to compute simultaneously two bounds that characterize the exponential stability rate of the solution. Numerical examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

In this Letter, almost periodic Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with delay is studied. By constructing appropriate linear auxiliary equations, sufficient conditions are given to guarantee the existence of almost periodic solution. Moreover, global exponential stability on almost periodic solution is investigated by Lyapunov method. At last, an example is given to show the effectiveness of results in this Letter.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the analysis problem for the exponential stability of a class of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with variable and distributed delays. Some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence, uniqueness and exponential stability of the equilibrium point are obtained by employing Brouwer’s fixed-point theorem and by applying the inequality technique. In the results, we do not assume that the activation function satisfies the boundedness and the Lipschitz condition. Three numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

A model of Hopfield neural networks with continuously distributed delays is considered. A new sufficient condition which guarantees global exponential stability of an equilibrium point is given based on Lyapunov functional approach and inequality technique. Compared with the previous results, our result provides a wider range since it possesses many adjustable parameters.  相似文献

This paper deals with the global exponential synchronization of a class of delayed chaotic networks. Under some simple conditions, the global synchronization of a network about its all variables is derived by only considering the global synchronization of its partial variables. Furthermore, based on the Halanay inequality technique, some delay-independent criteria are obtained to ensure the adaptive exponential synchronization of the model. And the simpler, less conservative and more efficient results are easy to be verified in engineering applications. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented synchronization scheme.  相似文献

In this Letter, the conditions ensuring existence, uniqueness of the equilibrium point of Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with variable delays are obtained under more general assumption about activation functions. Applying idea of vector Liapunov function, and M-matrix theory, the sufficient conditions for global exponential stability of Cohen–Grossberg neural networks are obtained. These results generalize a few previous known results and remove some restrictions on the neural networks.  相似文献

In this paper, we study stationary oscillation for general shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with impulses which are complex nonlinear neural networks. In a recent paper [Z. J. Gui and W. G. Ge, Chaos 16, 033116 (2006)], the authors claimed that they obtained a criterion of existence, uniqueness, and global exponential stability of periodic solution (i.e., stationary oscillation) for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with impulses. We point out in this paper that the main result of their paper is incorrect, and presents a sufficient condition of ensuring existence, uniqueness, and global stability of periodic solution for general shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with impulses. The result is derived by using a new method which is different from those of previous literature. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness.  相似文献

The global exponential stability is investigated for neural networks with interval time-varying delays. Based on the Leibniz-Newton formula and linear matrix inequality technique, delay-dependent stability criteria are proposed to guarantee the exponential stability of neural networks with interval time-varying delays. Some numerical examples and comparisons are provided to show that the proposed results significantly improve the allowable upper and lower bounds of delays over some existing ones in the literature.  相似文献

This Letter deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust exponential stability in mean square for a class of uncertain stochastic Hopfield neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and the stochastic stability theory, delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Because of introducing some free-weighting matrices to develop the stability criteria, the proposed stability conditions have less conservatism. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

Some simple sufficient conditions are given ensuring global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solutions of delayed cellular neural networks (DCNNs) by constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals and some analysis techniques. These conditions are easy to check in terms of system parameters and have important leading significance in the design and applications of globally stable DCNNs and periodic oscillatory DCNNs. In addition, two examples are given to illustrate the theory.  相似文献

In this Letter, exponential synchronization of a complex network with nonidentical time-delayed dynamical nodes is considered. Two effective control schemes are proposed to drive the network to synchronize globally exponentially onto any smooth goal dynamics. By applying open-loop control to all nodes and adding some intermittent controllers to partial nodes, some simple criteria for exponential synchronization of such network are established. Meanwhile, a pinning scheme deciding which nodes need to be pinned and a simply approximate formula for estimating the least number of pinned nodes are also provided. By introducing impulsive effects to the open-loop controlled network, another synchronization scheme is developed for the network with nonidentical time-delayed dynamical nodes, and an estimate of the upper bound of impulsive intervals ensuring global exponential stability of the synchronization process is also given. Numerical simulations are presented finally to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献
