In this paper, we conduct an investigation into two-dimensional squeezed magnetopolarons. The Hamiltonian of magnetopolarons is dealt with two-mode squeezed states transformation, which is based on the Lee-Low-Pines and Huybrechts (LLP-H) canonical transformations. This method makes it possible to take account of the linear terms, bilinear ones of phonon operators, and the correlation between two longitudinal optical (LO) phonon modes. The energies of the ground state and excited states are evaluated by variational approach, and accurate results are obtained. Furthermore, the renormalized cyclotron masses for some possible transitions are discussed in detail.  相似文献

Some properties of excitons in polar semiconductors are studied theoretically by means of squeezed state variational approach. This method makes it possible to consider bilinear terms of the phonon operators as well as linear terms arising from the Lee-Low-Pines (LLP)-like transformation. The exciton ground state energy andbinding energy are calculated numerically. It is shown that the squeezing effect is significant in the case of strong exciton-phonon coupling region.  相似文献

The nonclassicality of the single-variable Hermite polynomial state (SHPS) and its fidelity with squeezed vacuum state are studied in this paper. It is found that the SHPS can be considered as a single mode photon subtracted squeezed vacuum state. A compact expression for the Wigner function (WF) is also derived analytically by using the Weyl-ordered operator invariance under similar transformations. Especially, the nonclassicality is discussed in terms of the negativity of the WF. At last, the fidelity as a non-Gaussianity measure for this state is also discussed.  相似文献

We introduce the coordinate-dependent one- and two-mode squeezing transformations and discuss the properties of the corresponding one-and two-mode squeezed states. We show that the coordinate-dependent one-and two-mode squeezing transformations can be constructed by the combination of two transformations, a coordinate-dependent displacement followed by the standard squeezed transformation. Such a decomposition turns a nonlinear problem into a linear one because all the calculations involving the nonlinear one- and two-mode squeezed transformation have been shown to be able to reduce to those only concerning the standard one- and two-mode squeezed states.  相似文献

Within the algebraic frame of smeared photon fields, the coherence properties of squeezed multi-photon states are elaborated. The squeezing Bogoliubov automorphisms are constructed by means of suitable one-mode symplectic transformations in the infinite-dimensional test-function space. Transposed into the state space, these transformations are shown to preserve first-order coherence when applied to coherent, classical, Fock-normal states in spite of rendering them nonclassical. The cases, where first-order coherence is destroyed, are also classified. Very special conditions on the initial state modes and on the operation parameters are worked out, under which even second-order coherence is still valid for the transformed classical coherent states, in spite of exhibiting squeezed fluctuations.  相似文献

Quantum-electrodynamic processes that take place in the presence of a squeezed electromagnetic field are discussed. Integral formulas are derived that make it possible to express the probability of any process in a squeezed electromagnetic field in terms of the probability of the same process in a classical electromagnetic field. The main laws that govern processes of first order in the fine-structure constant as functions of the number of photons involved and the quantum fluctuations are examined. Tunneling formulas for the probability of a photon producing an electron-positron pair in a strong squeezed field are derived. Also, resonant electron-electron scattering is examined and the scattering cross section as a function of the statistical properties of the field (the way the field has been squeezed) is investigated. It is found that the quantum fluctuations of the squeezed electromagnetic field give rise to an increase in the scattering cross section, with the probability of the process in a phase-squeezed electromagnetic field always being higher than the probability of the process in an amplitude-squeezed electromagnetic field. Density functional theory calculations have been performed to study the structural, electronic, absorption, and thermodynamic properties of crystalline 2,4,6‐triamino‐3,5‐dinitropyridine‐1‐oxide (TANPyo) in the pressure range of 0–50 GPa. The variation trends of the lattice constants, bond lengths, bond angles, intramolecular H‐bonds, and dihedral angles under compression show that there are two structural transformations at 17 and 38 GPa, respectively. The remarkable changes in the bond lengths indicate that there are two possible initiation decomposition mechanisms of TANPyo under compression. As the pressure increases, the intramolecular H‐bond strengthens. The obvious changes of the dihedral angles show that the planar structure of the TANPyo molecule is damaged under compression. Its absorption spectra show that as the pressure increases, the absorption coefficient of the N–H stretching decreases, while that of the O–H stretching increases. TANPyo has relatively high optical activity at high pressure. An analysis of thermodynamic properties indicates that both two structural transformations are endothermic and not spontaneous at room temperature. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The performance of adding or subtracting photons on two-mode squeezed thermal states via examining the Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) correlation, the Hillery–Zubairy (HZ) correlation, the fidelity of teleportation, and the negativity of Wigner function is theoretically investigated. The normalization factors and the teleportation fidelity are related to Jacobi polynomials, and the (evolved) Wigner functions are simply associated with two-variable Hermite polynomials. Compared with the original squeezed thermal states, the EPR correlation and the teleportation fidelity can be enhanced by photon subtraction and basically weakened by photon addition symmetric operations, but they cannot be enhanced for both photon addition and subtraction asymmetric cases. Also, HZ correlation can provide a better option relative to the EPR correlation in detecting the entanglement, and the fidelity for teleporting a squeezed state with a large squeezing can also be enhanced via photon addition symmetric operations, in contrast to teleporting a coherent state. Additionally, the nonclassicality is discussed in terms of the negativity of the (evolved) Wigner functions, which shows that photon addition and subtraction and the squeezing cannot restrain the deteriorate of nonclassicality, and the evolved Wigner functions become Gaussian (corresponding to vacuum) with long decay times as a result of amplitude decay.  相似文献

We present the optical transfer functions for third-order nonlinear cavities that involve an optical carrier frequency and its modulation sideband fields. Our approach is based on linearized transformations and provides a convenient tool to calculate squeezed light sources as well as complex interferometer topologies, containing subsystems that involve intensity dependent phase shifts, i.e., optical Kerr media. As the result we present the noise spectral density of a Michelson interferometer with Kerr nonlinear arm cavities and resonant sideband extraction and find that quantum noise can be squeezed by arbitrary amounts even outside the cavity linewidth. Such a system might apply for future gravitational wave detectors or simply for a continuous wave source of squeezed states.  相似文献

采用高温固相法在1350℃下合成了Mn2+掺杂的MgAl2O4发光材料,利用X射线衍射对所合成样品的结构进行了表征。用209nm的紫外灯照射样品后,观察到来自Mn2+的4T1-6A1跃迁的绿色长余辉发光。发光的激发光谱表明:Mn2+-3d组态内存在一系列强的激发峰,分别在279,361,386,427,451nm,同时还有209nm处的Mn-O电荷迁移带,激发该吸收带会产生很强的绿色余辉。测量了余辉的衰减曲线及热释光谱,分析了Mn2+掺杂浓度对样品余辉性质的影响,给出了余辉产生的可能模型。  相似文献

In this paper, we present the density operator of the generalized squeezed thermal state (GSTS) and obtain its normal ordering form by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators and the Weyl ordering invariance under similarity transformations. Some significant quantum statistical properties of the GSTS are investigated, such as the photon-number distribution (PND) and the Wigner function (WF). It is found that the PND of the GSTS is a Legendre polynomial, and its squeezed vacuum oscillations imply the nonclassicality, as well as the GSTS whose WF has no negative region is indeed a special type of nonclassical state.  相似文献

We propose an approach with displaced states to use it for rotations of base coherent states and squeezed coherent states. Our approach is based on representation of the coherent states in free-traveling fields in terms of displaced number states with arbitrary amplitude of displacement. Two optical schemes are developed for construction of Hadamard gate for the base states. One of the optical schemes is based on alternation of photon additions and displacement operators (in general case, N-photon additions and N?1-displacements are required) to generate displaced squeezed even/odd superposition of coherent states (SCSs) with high fidelity in dependency on type (computational zero or one) of the base input state. Another optical scheme uses two-photon subtracted squeezed coherent states to approximate outcome of the Hadamard gate for the base squeezed coherent states. Output states approximate with high fidelity either even squeezed SCS or odd SCS shifted relative to each other by some value. It enables to adjust the optical scheme for construction of the Hadamard gate being mainframe element for quantum computation with basic squeezed coherent states.  相似文献

We construct a new type of photon-added squeezed coherent state generated by repeatedly operating the bosonic creation operator on a new type of squeezed coherent state [Fan H Y and Xiao M 1996 Phys. Lett. A 220 81]. We find that its normalization factor is related to single-variable Hermite polynomials. Furthermore, we investigate its statistical properties, such as Mandel’s Q parameter, photon-number distribution, and Wigner function. The nonclassicality is displayed in terms of the intense oscillation of photon-number distribution and the negativity of the Wigner function.  相似文献
