With the help of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments, we first propose a discrete analogue of continuous time ratio-dependent predator-prey system, which is governed by nonautonomous difference equations, modeling the dynamics of the prey and the predator having nonoverlapping generations. Then, easily verifiable sufficient criteria are established for the existence of positive periodic solutions. The approach is based on the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem as well as some priori estimates.  相似文献

A nonautonomous Lotka–Volterra type predator–prey model with stage structure and time delays is investigated. It is assumed in the model that the individuals in each species may belong to one of two classes: the immatures and the matures, the age to maturity is presented by a time delay, and that the immature predators do not feed on prey and do not have the ability to reproduce. By some comparison arguments we first discuss the permanence of the model. By using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of positive periodic solutions to the model. By means of a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are obtained for the uniqueness and global stability of the positive periodic solutions to the model.  相似文献

We consider the nonautonomous differential equation of second order x+a(t)xb(t)x2+c(t)x3=0, where a(t),b(t),c(t) are T-periodic functions. This is a biomathematical model of an aneurysm in the circle of Willis. In this paper, by using some analysis techniques and a new existence theorem, which is different from Gaines and Mawhin’s continuation theorem and abstract continuation theory for k-set contraction, we obtain some sufficient and realistic conditions for the existence of positive periodic solution of a general neutral delay n-species competitive model with impulses. In this paper, we consider a discrete food-limited population model with time delay. Firstly, the stability of the equilibrium of the system is investigated by analyzing the characteristic equation. By choosing the time delay as a bifurcation parameter, we prove that Neimark-Sacker bifurcations occur when the delay passes a sequence of critical values. Then the explicit algorithm for determining the direction of the Neimark-Sacker bifurcations and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are derived. Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and global exponential stability of a unique periodic solution of a class of neural networks with impulses by using Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and constructing Lyapunov functions. Sufficient and realistic conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions in periodic equations with state-dependent delay. The method involves the application of the coincidence degree theorem and estimations of uniform upper bounds on solutions. Applications of these results to some population models are presented. These application results indicate that seasonal effects on population models often lead to synchronous solutions. In addition, we may conclude that when both seasonality and time delay are present and deserve consideration, the seasonality is often the generating force for the often observed oscillatory behavior in population densities.

By re-estimating the upper bound of (i = 1, 2), we generalize a result about the existence of a positive periodic solution for a two-species nonautonomous patchy competition system with time delay. Based on that system, we consider the impulsive harvesting and stocking, and establish a two-species nonautonomous competition Lotka–Volterra system with diffusion and impulsive effects. With the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we obtain the existence of a positive periodic solution for such a system.
