Criteria for the existence of lifts of operators intertwining subnormal operators are established. The main result of the paper reduces lifting questions for general subnormal operators to questions about lifts of cyclic subnormal operators. It is shown that in general the existence of local lifts (i.e. those coming from cyclic parts) for a pair of subnormal operators does not imply the existence of a global lift. However this is the case when minimal normal extensions of subnormal operators in question are star-cyclic.

In the present paper we introduce a generalization of positive linear operators and obtain its Korovkin type approximation properties. The rates of convergence of this generalization is also obtained by means of modulus of continuity and Lipschitz type maximal functions. The second purpose of this paper is to obtain weighted approximation properties for the generalization of positive linear operators defined in this paper. Also we obtain a differential equation so that the second moment of our operators is a particular solution of it. Lastly, some Voronovskaja type asymptotic formulas are obtained for Meyer-König and Zeller type and Bleimann, Butzer and Hahn type operators.  相似文献

In recent years the coincidence of the operator relations equivalence after extension (EAE) and Schur coupling (SC) was settled for the Hilbert space case. For Banach space operators, it is known that SC implies EAE, but the converse implication is only known for special classes of operators, such as Fredholm operators with index zero and operators that can in norm be approximated by invertible operators. In this paper we prove that the implication EAE ? SC also holds for inessential Banach space operators. The inessential operators were introduced as a generalization of the compact operators, and include, besides the compact operators, also the strictly singular and strictly co-singular operators; in fact they form the largest ideal such that the invertible elements in the associated quotient algebra coincide with (the equivalence classes of) the Fredholm operators.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to study a general multisublinear operators generated by quasi-concave functions between weighted Banach function lattices. These operators, in particular, generalize the Hardy–Littlewood and fractional maximal functions playing an important role in harmonic analysis. We prove that under some general geometrical assumptions on Banach function lattices two-weight weak type and also strong type estimates for these operators are true. To derive the main results of this paper we characterize the strong type estimate for a variant of multilinear averaging operators. As special cases we provide boundedness results for fractional maximal operators in concrete function spaces.  相似文献

In this paper we study a class of quadratic operators named by Volterra operators on infinite dimensional space. We prove that such operators have infinitely many fixed points and the set of Volterra operators forms a convex compact set. In addition, it is described its extreme points. Besides, we study certain limit behaviors of such operators and give some more examples of Volterra operators for which their trajectories do not converge. Finally, we define a compatible sequence of finite dimensional Volterra operators and prove that any power of this sequence converges in weak topology.  相似文献

In this paper, we examine a class of averaging operators which exhibit local smoothing. That is, viewed as a function of space and time variables, the operators yield more smoothing than the fixed-time estimates. Sogge showed in a more general setting that if these operators satisfy a cinematic curvature condition, they will exhibit some local smoothing [C.D. Sogge, Propagation of singularities and maximal functions in the plane, Invent. Math. 104 (1991) 231-251]. Here we translate this condition into the setting of averaging operators in the plane. We prove that cinematic curvature is not necessary for local smoothing to occur, exhibiting a class of operators which fail the cinematic curvature condition but still satisfy a local smoothing estimate. Furthermore, the amount of local smoothing exhibited by these operators is strictly less than that conjectured for operators satisfying the cinematic curvature condition.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss stability problems for a class of discrete-time evolution operators generated by linear positive operators acting on certain ordered Banach spaces. Our approach is based upon a new representation result that links a positive operator with the adjoint operator of its restriction to a Hilbert subspace formed by sequences of Hilbert–Schmidt operators. This class includes the evolution operators involved in stability and optimal control problems for linear discrete-time stochastic systems. The inclusion is strict because, following the results of Choi, we have proved that there are positive operators on spaces of linear, bounded and self-adjoint operators which have not the representation that characterize the completely positive operators. As applications, we introduce a new concept of weak-detectability for pairs of positive operators, which we use to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of global and stabilizing solutions for a class of generalized discrete-time Riccati equations. Finally, assuming weak-detectability conditions and using the method of Lyapunov equations we derive a new stability criterion for positive evolution operators.  相似文献

In this paper the concept of asymptotic Toeplitz and asymptotic Hankel operators on the Bergman space are introduced and properties of these classes of operators are studied. The importance of this notion is that it associates with a class of operators a Toeplitz operator and with a class of operators a Hankel operator where the original operators are not even Toeplitz or Hankel. Thus it is possible to assign a symbol to an operator that is not Toeplitz or Hankel and hence a symbol calculus is obtained. Further a relation between Toeplitz operators and little Hankel operators on the Bergman space is established in some asymptotic sense.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to establish a sufficient condition for certain weighted norm inequalities for singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels and for the commutators of these singular integrals with BMO functions. Our condition is applicable to various singular integral operators, such as the second derivatives of Green operators associated with Dirichlet and Neumann problems on convex domains, the spectral multipliers of non-negative self-adjoint operators with Gaussian upper bounds, and the Riesz transforms associated with magnetic Schrödinger operators.  相似文献

Commuting differential operators of rank 2 are considered. With each pair of commuting operators a complex curve called the spectral curve is associated. The genus of this curve is called the genus of the commuting pair. The dimension of the space of common eigenfunctions is called the rank of the commuting operators. The case of rank 1 was studied by I. M. Krichever; there exist explicit expressions for the coefficients of commuting operators in terms of Riemann theta-functions. The case of rank 2 and genus 1 was considered and studied by S. P. Novikov and I.M. Krichever. All commuting operators of rank 3 and genus 1 were found by O. I. Mokhov. A. E. Mironov invented an effective method for constructing operators of rank 2 and genus greater than 1; by using this method, many diverse examples were constructed. Of special interest are commuting operators with polynomial coefficients, which are closely related to the Jacobian problem and many other problems. Common eigenfunctions of commuting operators with polynomial coefficients and smooth spectral curve are found explicitly in the present paper. This has not been done so far.  相似文献

In many situations, when dealing with several populations, equality of the covariance operators is assumed. An important issue is to study whether this assumption holds before making other inferences. In this paper, we develop a test for comparing covariance operators of several functional data samples. The proposed test is based on the Hilbert–Schmidt norm of the difference between estimated covariance operators. In particular, when dealing with two populations, the test statistic is just the squared norm of the difference between the two covariance operators estimators. The asymptotic behaviour of the test statistic under both the null hypothesis and local alternatives is obtained. The computation of the quantiles of the null asymptotic distribution is not feasible in practice. To overcome this problem, a bootstrap procedure is considered. The performance of the test statistic for small sample sizes is illustrated through a Monte Carlo study and on a real data set.  相似文献

In this paper, we extend the Perron-Frobenius theorem for positive polynomial operators in Banach lattices. The result obtained is applied to derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the stability of positive polynomial operators. Then we study stability radii: complex, real and positive radii of positive polynomial operators and show that in this case the three radii coincide and can be computed by a simple formula. Finally, a simple example is given to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture. In Section 1 we discuss the Reproducing Kernel Thesis and in Section 2 we introduce the operators which concern us. Section 3 shows how to relate these operators to Carleson embeddings and weighted composition operators, so that we can apply the Carleson measure theorem to obtain conditions for boundedness and compactness of many weighted composition operators. Section 4 contains Theorem 4.4 which is a discrete version of the Weiss Conjecture for contraction semigroups, and finally Section 5 shows how the usual (continuous time) Weiss Conjecture is related to the discrete version studied here; in fact they are equivalent (for scalar valued observation operators). The main advantage of the discrete version is that it is technically simpler – the observation operators are automatically bounded and the functional calculus can be achieved using power series.  相似文献

Perturbations of definitizable operators in Krein space are studied in this paper. Firsts, the convergence of resolvents and spectral functions is discussed if a sequence of definitizable operators converges in a general sense. Second, for the operational calculus relating to continuous functions, varions convergence of operator functions are studied. At last, the relation for the convergence of the sequence of resolvents and that of one-parameter unitary groups is studied. The main theorems of this paper can be regarded as the generalization of the results for self-adjoint operators in Hilbert space.  相似文献

本文研究Fock-Sobolev空间上稠密定义算子,将这些算子统一表示成积分算子,利用积分算子的方法得到了它们的一个充分条件,并构造反例说此充分条件是非必要的,还得到这些算子为紧算子的两个充分条件.最后构造符号函数在复平面上每一点处本性无界的紧和Sp-类(0p∞)Toeplitz算子.  相似文献
