Periodic Wave Solutions and Their Limits for the Modified Kd V–KP Equations

In this paper, we use the bifurcation method of dynamical systems to study the periodic wave solutions and their limits for the modified Kd V–KP equations. Some explicit periodic wave solutions are obtained. These solutions contain smooth periodic wave solutions and periodic blow-up solutions. Their limits contain solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, kink wave solutions and unbounded solutions.

研究了捕食者具有阶段结构且食饵有避难所的非自治捕食系统.利用Lyapunov函数方法得到了系统持续生存的条件,以及在一定条件下存在唯一全局渐进稳定的周期正解.对于更广泛的概周期现象,也得到了存在唯一全局渐进稳定的概周期正解的充分条件.     

一类具第三类功能反应且食饵具有避难所的捕食系统的分析

研究了一类具第三类功能反应且食饵具有避难所的非自治捕食系统.利用Lyapunov函数方法得到了系统持续生存的条件,以及在一定条件下,系统存在全局渐进稳定的周期正解.对于更广泛的概周期现象,也得到了存在唯一全局渐进稳定的概周期正解的充分条件.     

二次周期系数微分方程的周期解

给出利用Schauder不动点定理求一类二次周期系数微分方程的周期解的一种方法,得到较好结果.     

Asymptotic behavior of solutions of a periodic diffusion system of plankton allelopathy

This paper is concerned with the existence and asymptotic behavior of periodic solutions for a periodic reaction diffusion system of a planktonic competition model under Dirichlet boundary conditions. The approach to the problem is by the method of upper and lower solutions and the bootstrap argument of Ahmad and Lazer. It is shown under certain conditions that this system has positive or semi-positive periodic solutions. A sufficient condition is obtained to ensure the stability and global attractivity of positive periodic solutions.     

Symbolic computation of exact solutions for a nonlinear evolution equation

In this paper, by means of the Jacobi elliptic function method, exact double periodic wave solutions and solitary wave solutions of a nonlinear evolution equation are presented. It can be shown that not only the obtained solitary wave solutions have the property of loop-shaped, cusp-shaped and hump-shaped for different values of parameters, but also different types of double periodic wave solutions are possible, namely periodic loop-shaped wave solutions, periodic hump-shaped wave solutions or periodic cusp-shaped wave solutions. Furthermore, periodic loop-shaped wave solutions will be degenerated to loop-shaped solitary wave solutions for the same values of parameters. So do cusp-shaped solutions and hump-shaped solutions. All these solutions are new and first reported here.     

一类时滞反应扩散方程的周期解和概周期解

通过构造上、下控制函数，结合上、下解方法及相应的单调迭代方法研究了一类时滞反应扩散方程，证明了在反应项非单调时，如果一雏边值问题存在一对周期（或概周期）上、下解，则方程一定存在唯一的周期（或概周期）解．并给出了二维边值问题周期（或概周期）解存在唯一性的充分条件．推广了已有的一些结果。     

共振条件下一类方程无界解和周期解的共存性

讨论了在共振条件下一类具有等时位势的方程无界解和周期解的共存性．利用Poincare映射轨道的性质,给出了无界解的存在性条件．在此条件下,Poincare-Bohl定理,得到了方程的一个周期解,进而说明共振条件下这类方程无界解和周期解的是可以共存的．最后,给出了一个无界解和周期解共存的具有等时位势的方程实例．     

Bifurcation from single periodic orbit in discontinuous autonomous systems

This article is devoted to the study of bifurcations of periodic solutions for discontinuous autonomous systems from single periodic solutions of unperturbed discontinuous equations. In addition, local asymptotic properties of derived perturbed periodic solutions are also investigated. An example of planar discontinuous ordinary differential equations is given to illustrate the theory.     

周期系数 Riccati 方程的周期解存在准则

陈省身教授在报告空间曲线的封闭性时,提出了周期系数 Riccati 方程在什么条件下存在实周期解的问题.这个问题的解决,具有重要的理论价值和实践意义.因此很多人不断地从事这方面的研究,但给出的判据大都是充分性的.本文给出几类判定Riccati 方程存在周期解的充要条件.     

中立型泛函微分方程的周期解

对于中立型泛函微分方程,证明了解的毕竟有界性蕴含周期解的存在性,把常微分方程中著名的Yoshizawa周期解存在定理推广到中立型泛函微分方程,然后利用所得结果给出一类产生于电力系统的中立型时滞泛函微分方程周期解存在惟一与吸引的条件。     

强平均解与概周期解的存在性

本文定义了概周期微分方程的强平均解,利用强平均解的性质,讨论了强平均解与概周期解的关系,从而建立了概周期解存在的若干定理。     

Explicit exact periodic wave solutions and their limit forms for a long waves-short waves model

A long waves-short waves model is studied by using the approach of dynamical systems. The sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of solitary wave, kink and anti-kink waves, and periodic wave in different regions of the parametric space are given. All possible explicit exact parametric representations of above traveling waves are presented. When the energy of Hamiltonian system corresponding to this model varies, we also show the convergence of the periodic wave solutions, such as the periodic wave solutions converge to the solitary wave solutions, kink and anti-kink wave solutions, and periodic wave solutions, respectively.

考查了周期边界条件下的磁流体方程,证明了它的解关于时间是解析的,由此得到了磁流体方程的解的向后惟一性.对于周期解,证明了当周期小于某个常数时,周期的弱解是强解,进一步地这样的强解是定常解.     

A series of travelling wave solutions for two variant Boussinesq equations in shallow water waves

A new algebraic method is devised to uniformly construct a series of new travelling wave solutions for two variant Boussinesq equations. The solutions obtained in this paper include soliton solutions, rational solutions, triangular periodic solutions, Jacobi and Weierstrass doubly periodic wave solutions. Among them, the Jacobi elliptic periodic wave solutions exactly degenerate to the soliton solutions at a certain limit condition. Compared with most existing tanh methods, the proposed method gives new and more general solutions. More importantly, the method provides a guideline to classify the various types of the solution according to some parameters.     

Search for Periodic Solutions of Highly Nonlinear Dynamical Systems

Numerical-analytical methods for finding periodic solutions of highly nonlinear autonomous and nonautonomous systems of ordinary differential equations are considered. Algorithms for finding initial conditions corresponding to a periodic solution are proposed. The stability of the found periodic solutions is analyzed using corresponding variational systems. The possibility of studying the evolution of periodic solutions in a strange attractor zone and on its boundaries is discussed, and interactive software implementations of the proposed algorithms are described. Numerical examples are given.     

Periodic wave solutions and asymptotic analysis of the Hirota–Satsuma shallow water wave equation

In this paper, we devise a simple way to explicitly construct the Riemann theta function periodic wave solution of the nonlinear partial differential equation. The resulting theory is applied to the Hirota–Satsuma shallow water wave equation. Bilinear forms are presented to explicitly construct periodic wave solutions based on a multidimensional Riemann theta function. We obtain the one‐periodic and two‐periodic wave solutions of the equation. The relations between the periodic wave solutions and soliton solutions are rigorously established. Semi-Fredholm problems on periodic solutions of functional-differential equations of neutral type

We consider the problem on periodic solutions for linear systems of functionaldifferential equations of neutral type with periodic coefficients and periodic deviations of the argument. By reduction to associated functional equations, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions under which the problem on periodic solutions for such a system is Fredholm or semi-Fredholm.     

Almost Periodic Solutions of Nonlinear Second Order Differential Equations

We provide existence results for almost periodic solutions of nonlinear second order ordinary differential equations. The results extend existence results for periodic solutions of periodic equations, where the existence of periodic sub and supersolutions implied the existence of periodic solutions.
