It is shown that palladium–cobalt oxide–cerium catalyst deposited on cordierite catalyzes the reduction of nitrogen(II) oxide with carbon monoxide, and cobalt–iron catalysts in simultaneous reduction of NO + N2O with C3-C4 alkanes retained high activity in the presence of water vapor and sulfur dioxide. The Pd-Co3O4/cordierite catalyst exceeds the Pt-Co3O4/codierite catalyst in the conversion of NO and CO in the reaction mixture CO + NO + O2 + H2O + SO2. Modification of the Pd-Co3O4/cordierite with cerium oxide considerably increases its sulfur resistance.  相似文献

Atmospheric plasma sprayed alumina–titania (Al2O3–13%TiO2), coated on stainless steel (XC18), were characterized. The coating structure and morphology were studied by scanning electron microscopy. Their presented micro cracks, laminar splats. The coatings were studied by X-ray diffraction. The main phase transformation is that of α-Al2O3 into metastable γ-Al2O3. The α-Al2O3 phase is due to the occurrence of partially melted particles Electrochemical behaviours of coatings were mainly investigated by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 0.01 M [K3Fe(CN)6/K4Fe(CN)6] as a function of process parameters. Also, schematic equivalent circuit was proposed. The results were expected to facilitate the understanding and improvement of the coating behaviours.  相似文献

Mesoporous TiO2/γ-Al2O3 composite granules were prepared by combining sol–gel/oil-drop method, using various titania solution. The product granules can be used as a photocatalyst or adsorbent in moving, fluidized bed reactors. The phase composition and pore structure of the granules can be controlled by calcination temperature and using different titania solution. In the photocatalysis of NH3 decomposition, TiO2/γ-Al2O3 granules using Degussa P25 powder treated thermally at 450 °C showed the highest catalytic ability. However, TiO2/γ-Al2O3 granules using titania made by hydrothermal method had comparable performance in NH3 decomposition.  相似文献

The samples of the NiO/B2O3-Al2O3 system with NiO contents from 0.48 to 38.30 wt % were synthesized by the impregnation of borate-containing alumina (20 wt % B2O3). It was found that nickel oxide occurred in an X-ray amorphous state in the samples containing to 23.20 wt % NiO. At a NiO content of 4.86 wt % or higher, the support was blocked by the modifier to cause a decrease in the specific surface area from 234 to 176 m2/g and in the amount of acid sites from 409–424 to 333 μmol/g. An extremal character of the dependence of catalyst activity in ethylene oligomerization on NiO content was found with a maximum in the range of 4.86–9.31 wt %. Based on spectroscopic data, it was found that ethylene activation on the NiO/B2O3-Al2O3 catalyst can be associated with the presence of Ni2+ cations, which chemically interact with the support. The catalyst containing 4.86 wt % NiO at 200°C, a pressure of 4 MPa, and an ethylene supply rate of 1.1 h−1 provided almost complete ethylene conversion at the yield of liquid oligomerization products to 90.0 wt %; the total concentration of C8+ alkenes in these products was 89.0 wt %.  相似文献

Nano-structured spinel Li2Mn4O9 powder was prepared via a combustion method with hydrated lithium acetate (LiAc·2H2O), manganese acetate (MnAc2·4H2O), and oxalic acid (C2H2O4·2H2O) as raw materials, followed by calcination of the precursor at 300 °C. The sample was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy techniques. Electrochemical performance of the nano-Li2Mn4O9 material was studied using cyclic voltammetry, ac impedance, and galvanostatic charge/discharge methods in 2 mol L−1 LiNO3 aqueous electrolyte. The results indicated that the nano-Li2Mn4O9 material exhibited excellent electrochemical performance in terms of specific capacity, cycle life, and charge/discharge stability, as evidenced by the charge/discharge results. For example, specific capacitance of the single Li2Mn4O9 electrode reached 407 F g−1 at the scan rates of 5 mV s−1. The capacitor, which is composed of activated carbon negative electrode and Li2Mn4O9 positive electrode, also exhibits an excellent cycling performance in potential range of 0–1.6 V and keeps over 98% of the maximum capacitance even after 4,000 cycles.  相似文献

Data obtained for the kinetics of oxidation of diethyl sulfide (Et2S) by hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution catalyzed by boric acid indicate that monoperoxoborates B(O2H)(OH) 3 and diperoxoborates B(O2H)2(OH) 2 are the active species. The rates of the reactions of Et2S with B(O2H)(OH) 3 and B(O2H)2(OH) 2 are 2.5 and 100 times greater than with H2O2. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental’naya Khimiya, Vol. 43, No. 1, pp. 38–42, January–February, 2007.  相似文献

A series of Pd/Al2O3–ZrO2 catalysts were prepared to be used in methane oxidation. The effect of the addition order of metal alkoxides on the texture, structure and catalytic properties of the solids is studied. The control of the preparation parameters is achieved via sol gel way as an attractive route of the preparation of these catalysts. N2 physisorption, XRD, Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM) and H2 chemisorption are the main techniques used to characterize the prepared Pd/Al2O3–ZrO2 catalysts. Textural analysis reveals the mesoporosity of all the catalysts independently of the addition order of alkoxides while surface area is more pronounced when the aluminium alkoxide is added before or with the zirconium precursor. XRD patterns show the development of the zirconia tetragonal phase for all the catalysts. Better metallic dispersion is obtained when aluminium alkoxide is added first which can be justified by the high homogeneity observed on the corresponding catalyst as revealed by SEM technique.  相似文献

The fate and transport of toxic metal ions and radionuclides in the environment is generally controlled by sorption reactions. The extent of sorption of divalent metal cations is controlled by a number of factors including cosorbing or complexing. In this work, the effects of pH, humic acid HA/Co(II) addition orders, ionic strength, concentration of HA, and foreign cations on the Co(II) sorption on γ-Al2O3 in the presence of HA were investigated. The sorption isotherms of Co(II) on γ-Al2O3 in the absence and presence HA were also studied and described by using S-type sorption model. The experimental results showed that the Co(II) sorption is strongly dependent on the pH values, concentration of HA, but independent of HA/Co(II) addition orders, ionic strength, and foreign cations in the presence of HA under our experimental conditions. The results also indicated that HA enhanced the Co(II) sorption at low pH, but reduced the Co(II) sorption at high pH. It was hypothesized that the significantly positive influence of HA at low pH on the Co(II) sorption on γ-Al2O3 was attributed to strong surface binding of HA on γ-Al2O3 and subsequently the formation of ternary surface complexes such as ≡S-OOC-R-(COO) x Co2−x . Chemi-complexation may be the main mechanism of the Co(II) sorption on γ-Al2O3 in the presence of HA.  相似文献

A series of cobalt-containing granulated and structured catalysts based on zirconium and aluminum oxides has been studied. The optimum composition of binary oxide samples (80% ZrO2 − 20% Al2O3) for the selective reduction of nitrogen monoxide with methane (84% conversion of NO achieved at 320 °C) has been determined. The activity of the structured catalysts depends on both the composition of the secondary carrier (ZrO2, Al2O3, and their mixture) and on the nature of the skeleton of the cellular structure (cordierite, kaolin-aerosil). __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental’naya Khimiya, Vol. 43, No. 4, pp. 237–241, July–August, 2007.  相似文献

Fe3O4 nanorods and Fe2O3 nanowires have been synthesized through a simple thermal oxide reaction of Fe with C2H2O4 solution at 200–600°C for 1 h in the air. The morphology and structure of Fe3O4 nanorods and Fe2O3 nanowires were detected with powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The influence of temperature on the morphology development was experimentally investigated. The results show that the polycrystals Fe3O4 nanorods with cubic structure and the average diameter of 0.5–0.8 μm grow after reaction at 200–500°C for 1 h in the air. When the temperature was 600°C, the samples completely became Fe2O3 nanowires with hexagonal structure. It was found that C2H2O4 molecules had a significant effect on the formation of Fe3O4 nanorods. A possible mechanism was also proposed to account for the growth of these Fe3O4 nanorods. This paper presents the results of our experimental studies of quantitative redistribution and isotope fractionation of oxygen during the crystal growth of cubic solid solutions based on ZrO2. The single crystals were grown by directional crystallization of a melt in a cold container. As stabilizing oxides, we used Y2O3, Gd2O3, and Yb2O3 in concentrations of 8–40 mol %. The results showed that the oxygen isotopic growth effects changed depending on the type and content of the stabilizer in the crystals of ZrO2-R2O3 solid solutions.  相似文献

The ZrO(NO3)2-H3PO4-CsF-H2O system was studied at 20°C along the section at a molar ratio of PO43−/Zr = 0.5 (which is of the greatest interest in the context of phase formation) at ZrO2 concentrations in the initial solutions of 2–14 wt % and molar ratios of CsF: Zr = 1−6. The following compounds were isolated for the first time: crystalline fluorophosphates CsZrF2PO4 · H2O, amorphous oxofluorophosphate Cs2Zr3O2F4(PO4)2 · 3H2O, and amorphous oxofluorophosphate nitrate CsZr3O1.25F4(PO4)2(NO3)0.5 · 4.5H2O. The compound Cs3Zr3O1.5F6(PO4)2 · 3H2O was also isolated, which forms in a crystalline or glassy form, depending on conditions. The formation of the following new compounds was established: Cs2Zr3O1.5F5(PO4)2 · 2H2O, Cs2Zr3F2(PO4)4 · 4.5H2O, and Zr3O4(PO4)1.33 · 6H2O, which crystallize only in a mixture with known phases. All the compounds were studied by X-ray powder diffraction, crystal-optical, thermal, and IR spectroscopic analyses.  相似文献

Copper or iron supported on commercially available oxides, such as γ-Al2O3, TiO2 (anatase) and monoclinic tetragonal ZrO2 (mt-ZrO2) were tested as catalysts for selective catalytic oxidation of ammonia into nitrogen and water vapour (NH3-SCO) in the low temperature range. Different commercial oxides were used in this study to determine the influence of the specific surface area, acidic nature of the support and crystalline phases as well as of the type of species and aggregation state of transition metals on the catalytic performance in selective ammonia oxidation. Copper modified oxide supports were found to be more active and selective to nitrogen than catalysts impregnated with iron. Activities of both transition metal modified samples decreased in the following order: mt-ZrO2, TiO2 (anatase), γ-Al2O3. Quantitative total ammonia conversion was achieved with the Cu/ZrO2 catalytic system at 400°C. Characterisation techniques, e.g. H2-temperature programmed reduction, UV-VIS-diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, suggest that easily reducible copper oxide species are important in achieving high catalytic performances at low temperatures.  相似文献

The influence of the alumina support on the catalytic activity of Pt/Al2O3 catalysts in aqueous phase reforming of ethylene glycol to hydrogen was studied. The catalysts were prepared by impregnation of γ-, δ-, and α-alumina with H2PtCl6. The highest rate of hydrogen production (452 μmol min−1 g−1) obtained with the Pt/α-Al2O3 catalyst can be related to the highest extent of dispersion of Pt on α-Al2O3. XPS, TEM-EDX and TPR-H2 measurements showed the absence of chloride-containing surface complexes in the Pt/α-Al2O3 catalyst. However, chloride-containing entities were found on the surface of Pt/γ-Al2O3 and Pr/δ-Al2O3 catalysts. When chloride ions are removed chlorinated Pt species facilitate the sintering of Pt crystallites and in this way affect the extent of Pt dispersion. Moreover, depending upon the particular crystalline form, alumina atoms have different coordination and alumina surfaces contain varying amounts of OH groups of different nature which affect the interaction between Pt and the support.  相似文献

Summary.  Single crystals of MgAl2F8(H2O)2 have been obtained under hydrothermal conditions (250°C, 14 d) from a starting mixture of AlF3 and MgAlF5(H2O)2 in a 5% (w/w) HF solution. The crystal structure has been determined and refined from single crystal data (Fmmm (#69), Z = 4, a = 7.2691(7), b = 7.0954(16), c = 12.452(2) ?, 281 structure factors, 27 parameters, R(F 2 > 2σ (F 2)) = 0.0282, wR(F 2 all) = 0.0885). The obtained crystals were systematically twinned according to (010/100/001) as twinning matrix, reflecting the pseudo-tetragonal metric. The crystal structure is composed of perowskite-type layers built of corner sharing AlF6 octahedra with an overall composition of AlF4 which are connected via common fluorine atoms of [MgF4/2(H2O)2/1] octahedra. Group-subgroup relations of MgAl2F8(H2O)2 to WO3(H2O)0.33 and to other M(II)M(III)2 F8(H2O)2 structures are briefly discussed. Above 570°C, MgAl2F8(H2O)2 decomposes under elimination of water into α-AlF3, β-AlF3, and MgF2. Received October 29, 2001. Accepted (revised) December 6, 2001  相似文献

The surface of ceramic electrolyte ZrO2 + 9 mol % Y2O3, hereinafter referred to as YSZ (abbreviated yttria stabilized zirconia), was modified with 0.1 to 0.2 μm oxide films of ZrO2, Y2O3, and YSZ (same composition as substrate) by dip coating in alcohol solutions of the relevant salts and further annealing. The results of scanning electronic microscopy and X-ray diffraction evidence epitaxial film growth. By means of impedance spectroscopy at the temperatures of 500 to 600°C, the effect of YZS electrolyte surface modification with ZrO2, Y2O3, and YSZ films to the polarization resistance of silver electrode was studied.  相似文献

Perovskite phases Ba3In2ZrO8 and Ba4In2Zr2O11 with the nominal concentration of structural oxygen vacancies 1/9 and 1/12, respectively, were synthesized by solid-phase and solution methods. X-ray diffraction showed cubic symmetry of both phases with the unit cell parameter a = 0.4193(2) and 0.4204(3) nm, respectively. The absence of superstructural lines resulted in the conclusion on statistical arrangement of oxygen vacancies. Thermogravimetry and mass spectrometry proved that both phases can reversibly absorb water from gas phase (pH2O = 2 × 10−2 atm) with observed correlation between the concentration of oxygen vacancies and amount of absorbed water. The total water amount was up to 0.9 mol per formula unit or, if recalculated for perovskite unit ABO3, 0.3 and 0.23 mol H2O, respectively. The temperature curves of coductivity in the atmosphere with various partial water vapor pressures (pH2O = 3 × 10−5 and 2 × 10−2 atm) showed significantly higher conductivity and lower activation energy (0.52 eV) in humid atmosphere due to proton transfer. The proton conductivity is up to 5 × 10−4 Ohm−1 cm−1 at 300°C for Ba3In2ZrO8 specimen. IR spectrometry showed that protons in the structure exist primarily in OH-groups.  相似文献

Samples of a precursor for an aluminum oxide ceramics reinforced with zirconium oxide were synthesized by hydrolysis of various aluminum salts in the presence of a ZrO2 sol under conditions of urea decomposition at 90°C and pH < 4 maintained, with hydrolysis products deposited onto the surface of ZrO2 sol particles. It was found that the nature of a salt anion affects the interaction of hydrolysis products of the aluminum cation with the surface of ZrO2 sol particles. The structure of products formed in thermal treatment of samples of a precursor for Al2O3-ZrO2 (T = 1250°C) was characterized by X-ray phase analysis and scanning electron microscopy. The phase transition temperatures of the oxides Al2O3 and ZrO2 contained in the precursor were estimated using the results of thermal analysis of the samples in the temperature range 20–1300°C.  相似文献

Data on the mid-temperature solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFC) with thin-film ZrO2-Y2O3 (YSZ) electrolyte are shown. Such a fuel cell comprises a carrying Ni-YSZ anode, a YSZ electrolyte 3–5 μm thick formed by vacuum ion-plasma methods, and a LaSrMnO3 cathode. It is shown that the use of a combined method of YSZ electrolyte deposition, which involves the magnetron deposition of a 0.5–1.5-μm thick sublayer and its pulse electron-beam processing allows a dense nanostructured electrolyte film to be formed and the SOFC working temperature to be lowered down as the result of a decrease in both the solid electrolyte Ohmic resistance and the Faradaic resistance to charge transfer. SOFC are studied by the methods of voltammentry and impedance spectroscopy. The maximum power density of the SOFC under study is 250 and 600 mW/cm−2 at temperatures of 650 and 800°C, respectively.  相似文献
