慢增长系数微分方程的解及其导数的不动点

运用值分布理论研究了高阶慢增长系数线性微分方程的解及其导数的不动点问题.当存在某个系数对方程的解的性质起主要支配作用时,得到了方程解及其导数的不动点收敛指数的精确估计,推广了有关文献中的结论.     

On the Application of the Briggs' and Steepest-Descent Methods to a Boundary-Layer Flow

The evolution of wave packets generated by impulsive disturbances of the rotating-disk boundary-layer flow is studied. It is shown, by comparison with Briggs' method, that there are certain difficulties associated with the steepest-descent time-asymptotic method of evaluating the impulse response. The rotating-disk boundary layer provides examples of saddle points through which the steepest-descent path can and cannot be made to pass. It is shown that it is critically important to establish, from the topography of the phase function, whether the steepest-descent path passes through particular saddle points. If this procedure is not carried out, calculations of the wave-packet evolution can be majorly flawed and incorrect conclusions can be drawn about the stability of the flow, i.e., whether it is convectively or absolutely unstable.

A hybrid iterative scheme for mixed equilibrium problems and fixed point problems

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem (MEP) and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. First, by using the well-known KKM technique we derive the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the auxiliary problems for the MEP. Second, by virtue of this result we introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of MEP and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings. Furthermore, we prove that the sequences generated by the hybrid iterative scheme converge strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of MEP and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings.     

Maximal degeneracy points of GKZ systems

Motivated by mirror symmetry, we study certain integral representations of solutions to the Gel´fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky (GKZ) hypergeometric system. Some of these solutions arise as period integrals for Calabi-Yau manifolds in mirror symmetry. We prove that for a suitable compactification of the parameter space, there exist certain special boundary points, which we called maximal degeneracy points, at which all solutions but one become singular.

     

The Exact Solutions of Generalized Zakharov Equations with High Order Singular Points and Arbitrary Power Nonlinearities

In this paper, we using bifurcation theory method of dynamical systems to find the exact solutions of generalized Zakharov equations with high order singular points and arbitrary power nonlinearities. Under different parameter conditions, we obtain exact solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions as well as kink and anti-kink wave solutions.     

Nonlinear elliptic fourth order equations existence and multiplicity results

This paper deals with the existence of solutions to a class of fourth order nonlinear elliptic equations. The technique used relies on critical points theory. The solutions appeared as critical points of a functional restricted to a suitable manifold. In the case of constant coefficients we obtain the existence of three distinct solutions.     

Solution concepts in two-person multicriteria games

In this paper, we propose new solution concepts for multicriteria games and compare them with existing ones. The general setting is that of two-person finite games in normal form (matrix games) with pure and mixed strategy sets for the players. The notions of efficiency (Pareto optimality), security levels, and response strategies have all been used in defining solutions ranging from equilibrium points to Pareto saddle points. Methods for obtaining strategies that yield Pareto security levels to the players or Pareto saddle points to the game, when they exist, are presented. Finally, we study games with more than two qualitative outcomes such as combat games. Using the notion of guaranteed outcomes, we obtain saddle-point solutions in mixed strategies for a number of cases. Examples illustrating the concepts, methods, and solutions are included.     

Existence and concentration of positive solutions for a super-critical fourth order equation

In this paper we investigate the problem of existence of solutions for a super-critical fourth order Yamabe type equation and we exhibit a family of solutions concentrating at two points, provided the domain contains one hole and we give a multiplicity result if we are given multiple holes.     

强向量均衡问题与不动点问题的粘性逼近算法

讨论了强向量均衡问题与非扩张映射不动点问题的公共解.首先,给出了强向量均衡问题的辅助问题,并在适当的条件下,证明了其解的存在性和唯一性结果.然后,利用这些结果,提出了强向量均衡问题与非扩张映射不动点问题公共解的粘性逼近算法,并进一步证明了,在适当的条件下,由该算法产生的迭代序列强收敛于强向量均衡问题和非扩张映射不动点问题的公共解.
