The scaling behaviors of the nucleon resonance transition amplitudes from perturbative QCD (PQCD) are utilized to parametrize the amplitudes of the first negative-parity nucleon resonance S11(1535). Our analysis indicates that the constraints of the transition amplitude for the S11 resonance at the limit Q2→∞ by QCD sum rule calculations are not applicable at a moderate Q2 range of 2.5 ~ 4 GeV2 compared with the present available data if the contribution of S11 is dominant in the Q2 limit.  相似文献

For deuteron's electromagnetic form factors, perturbative QCD (pQCD) predicts that G00+ becomes the dominate helicity amplitude and G+0+ and G+ -+ are suppressed by factors AQCD/Q and AQCD2/Q2 at large Q2 respectively. We try to discuss the higher-order corrections beyond the pQCD asymptotic predictions by interpolating an analytical form to the intermediate energy region. From fitting the data, our results show that the helicity-zero to zero matrix element G00+ dominates the gross structure function A(Q2) in both the large and intermediate energy regions. It is a good approximation for G+ -+ to ignore the higher-order contributions and the higher-order corrections to G+0+ should be taken into account due to sizeable contributions in the intermediate energy region.  相似文献

We present an improved perturbative expression for the pion form factor with Sudakov suppression, in which the running coupling constant is suggested to be frozen at αs, (T>) and the intrinsic transverse momentum dependence associated with pion wavefunction is re-analysed. This expression is available for momentum transfer of the order of a few GeV as wed as for Q→∞. Our scheme can be extended to evaluate contributions to the pion form factor beyond the leading order.  相似文献

A dressed-quark core contribution to nucleon electromagnetic form factors is calculated. It is defined by the solution of a Poincaré covariant Faddeev equation in which dressed-quarks provide the elementary degree of freedom and correlations between them are expressed via diquarks. The nucleon-photon vertex involves a single parameter; namely, a diquark charge radius. It is argued to be commensurate with the pion’s charge radius. A comprehensive analysis and explanation of the form factors is built upon this foundation. A particular feature of the study is a separation of form factor contributions into those from different diagram types and correlation sectors, and subsequently a flavour separation for each of these. Amongst the extensive body of results that one could highlight are: , owing to the presence of axial-vector quark-quark correlations; and for both the neutron and proton the ratio of Sachs electric and magnetic form factors possesses a zero.  相似文献

The coupling vertex of the Pomeron to nucleon is derived from QCD. A γμ coupling vertex and coupling strength of β= 6.0 GeV-1, which has been used commonly as a free parameter in literature, are obtained. The result leads a support to the belief that the Pomeron could be a tensor glueball ξ(2230) with quantum numbers of IGJPC = 0+2++ in nature.  相似文献

It is shown that analytic properties of standard QCD perturbation theory contradict known spectral properties and contain, in particular, infrared-generated Landau ghost poles and cuts. As an outcome, a rigorous background perturbation theory is developed and its analytic properties are shown to be in agreement with general requirements. In the limiting case of large N c, where QCD amplitudes contain only pole singularities, the strong coupling constant α s(Q 2) is shown to be a meromorphic function of external momenta as well. Some simple models and examples are given where nonperturbative β function and α s(Q 2) can be written explicitly. The general form of amplitudes at large N c is given in the framework of background perturbation theory, and its correspondence with standard perturbation theory at highmomenta is demonstrated in the example of e + e ? annihilation. For timelike momenta, the background coupling constant differs drastically from the standard one, but the background series averaged over energy intervals has the same (AF) behavior at high momenta in the Euclidean and in the Minkowskian region.  相似文献

The nucleon and its negative-parity excited states are examined in a maximum entropy method analysis of QCD sum rules. We derive the parity projected nucleon sum rules with all known first order α s corrections to the Wilson coefficients of the operator product expansion (OPE). As these corrections have turned out to be large, we suppress them by using a phase-rotated Gaussian kernel. This phase rotation strongly suppresses the continuum contribution and improves the convergence of the OPE. The resulting sum rule has the interesting feature that it is dominated by the term containing the chiral condensate of dimension 3. Analyzing this sum rule by the maximum entropy method, we are able to extract information of both the positive and negative parity states.  相似文献
