The Reactivity of Dinuclear Platina‐β‐diketones with Phosphines: Diacetylplatinum(II) Complexes and Mononuclear Platina‐β‐diketones Addition of mono‐ and bidentate phosphines or of AsPh3 to the platina‐β‐diketone [Pt2{(COMe)2H}2(μ‐Cl)2] ( 1 ) followed by the addition of NaOMe at ?70 °C resulted in the formation of diacetyl platinum(II) complexes cis‐[Pt(COMe)2L2] (L = PPh3, 2a ; P(4‐FC6H4)3, 2b ; PPh2(4‐py), 2c ; PMePh2, 2d ; AsPh3, 2d ) and [Pt(COMe)2(L??L)] (L??L = dppe, 3b ; dppp, 3c ), respectively. The analogous reaction with dppm afforded the dinuclear complex cis‐[{Pt(COMe)2}2(μ‐dppm)2] ( 4 ) that reacted in boiling acetone yielding [Pt(COMe)2(dppm)] ( 3a ). The reactions 1 → 2 / 3 were found to proceed via thermally highly unstable cationic mononuclear platina‐β‐diketone intermediates [Pt{(COMe)2H}L2]+ and [Pt{(COMe)2H}(L??L)]+, respectively, that could be isolated as chlorides for L??L = dppe ( 5a ) and dppp ( 5b ). The reversibility of the deprotonation of type 5 complexes with NaOMe yielding type 3 complexes was shown by the protonation of the diacetyl complex 3b with HBF4 yielding the platina‐β‐diketone [Pt{(COMe)2H}(dppe)](BF4) ( 5c ). All compounds were fully characterized by means of NMR and IR spectroscopies, and microanalyses. X‐ray diffraction analysis was performed for the complex cis‐[Pt(COMe)2(PPh3)2]·H2O·CHCl3 ( 2a ·H2O·CHCl3).  相似文献

Abstract

The reaction between 5,5-dimethyl-2-thioxoimidazolidin-4-one (H2L) and [PdCl4]2- has been studied in aqueous solution by potentiometric and spectrophotometric measurements. In the presence of the palladium salt, H2L is completely monodeprotonated (HL?); from spectrophotometric measurements, only two complexes having 1:1 and 1:2 Pd/ligand mol ratios have been identified. Potentiometric titrations, carried out on solutions with 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 and 1:4 metal/ligand mol ratios, show that these complexes must be formulated as Pd(HL)2 and [Pd2(HL)2(μ-H2O)(μ-OH)]+. Ionization constants of the pure ligand and formation constants of the complexes give pH distribution curves of the various species and the spectra of the two complexes. From MeOH, S-coordinated Pd(H2L)nCl2 (n = 2–4) complexes have been separated in the solid state; from water, two complexes of formula Pd(H2L)(HL)Cl and Pd(HL)Cl have been obtained with HL? N,S-coordinated to the metal.  相似文献

Vicinal carbonyl oxime (HL1) and oxime-imine (H2L2) ligands and their mononuclear Ru(III) and Cu(II), heterodinuclear Ru(III)-Mn(II), Ru(III)-Ni(II), Ru(III)-Cu(II), and heterotrinuclear Ru(III)-Cu(II)-Ru(III) chelates were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IR, ESR, ICP-OES, magnetic moment measurements, and thermal analyses studies. The free ligands were also characterized by 1H NMR spectra. The carbonyl-oxime ligand coordinates through the oxygen of =N-OH to form a six-membered chelate ring. The quadridentate tetraaza ligand (H2L2) obtained by condensing of the bidentate ligand 1-p-diphenylmethane-2-hydroxyimino-2-(1-naphthylamino)-1-ethanone (HL1) with 1,2-phenylenediamine coordinates with Ru(III) through its nitrogen donors in the equatorial position with the loss of one of the oxime protons and concomitant formation of an intramolecular hydrogen bond. Stoichiometric and spectral results of the metal complexes indicated that the metal: ligand ratios in the mononuclear complexes of the ligand (HL1) were found to be 1: 2, while these ratios were 1: 1 in the mononuclear complexes of the ligand (H2L2). The metal: ligand ratios of the dinuclear complexes were found to be 2: 1, and this ratio was 3: 2 in the trinuclear complex. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

Anodic oxidation of cobalt and copper metals in an anhydrous acetone solution of pyridine-2-(1H)-thione-3-cyano-4-(2-bromophenyl)-5,6-ring fused cycloheptane (HL1) and its derivatives, (HL2), (HL3), (HL4), (HL5), (HL6), (HL7), (HL8), and (HL9) yields complexes of composition [M(L)2·(H2O)2]·n H2O and [M(L)2·(acetone)2], where M = Co(II) or Cu(II) and L is the ligand. Also, reaction of an aqueous ethanolic solution of Co(Ac)2·2H2O with the previous ligands was prepared. Elemental analysis, and infrared and electronic spectral data are presented to confirm the formulation of the amorphous complexes. The spectral data indicate that the ligands are coordinated to the metal via the thioenol sulfur atom and the nitrogen atom of cyano groups. The ligands reacts in the enol form through the anodic dissolution of the ligands or during the reaction with metal salts. The ligand field parameters and crystal field splitting energies, Δo, for different cobalt metal complexes were calculated.  相似文献

The kinetics and mechanism of substitution reaction of [Ru(CN)5H2O]3? anion with two naphthalene‐substituted ligands viz. Ln = nitroso‐R‐salt (NRS) and α‐nitroso‐β‐naphthol (αNβN) have been studied spectrophotometrically by monitoring an increase in absorbance at λmax = 525 nm corresponding to metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) transitions due to formation of substituted [Ru(CN)5L]n?3 as a function of pH, ionic strength, temperature, a wide range of ligands concentration, and [Ru(CN)5H2O3?] under pseudo‐first‐order conditions. The experimental observation suggests that [Ru(CN)5H2O]3? ion interacts with both ligands, which finally get converted into corresponding, [Ru(CN)5L]n?3 complexes as a final reaction product. The reaction is found to obey first‐order dependence each in [Ru(CN)5H2O3?] and [Ln]. The substituted products, viz. [Ru(CN)5L]n?3, in each case have strong MLCT transitions in visible region. The substitutional lability of [Ru(CN)5H2O]3? has been discussed in terms of electronic effect on the M? OH2 bond interactions. The kinetic observation suggests that the complexation reaction of [Ru(CN)5H2O]3? with both the ligands, i.e., NRS and αNβN, follows an ion pair dissociative mechanism. The thermal activation parameters ΔH and ΔS have been calculated using Eyring's equation and provided in support for the proposed mechanistic scheme. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. New hexa-coordinated Ru(III) complexes of the type [Ru(H2Pzdc)(EPh3)3X2] have been synthesized by reacting 3,5-pyrazole dicarboxylic acid (H3Pzdc) with the appropriate starting complexes [RuX3(EPh3)3] (where X = Cl or Br; E = P or As). The ligand behaves as a bidentate monobasic chelate. All the complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectroscopic (IR, electronic and EPR) data. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of the complex [Ru(H2Pzdc)(PPh3)2Cl2]·C6H6·C2H5OH revealed that the coordination environment around the ruthenium center consists of an NOP2Cl2 octahedron. The planar ligand occupies the equatorial position along with two chlorine atoms, while the triphenylphosphine groups occupy the axial positions. The electrochemical behavior of the new complexes was studied using cyclic voltammetry. The new mononuclear ruthenium complexes are capable of acting as catalysts for the oxidation of alcohols.  相似文献

Ru(III) complexes of the type [RuXB(L)2] have been prepared by the reaction of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones/thiones (HL1–HL4) with the precursors of the type [RuX3B3] where X=Cl or Br; B=PPh3 or AsPh3 and L is the deprotonated ligand. The synthesized complexes were characterized by physico-chemical methods, electrochemical and magnetic moment data. The catalytic efficiency of the complexes were examined in the oxidation of alcohols and antimicrobial studies were also carried out.   相似文献

The monomer 3‐allyl‐5‐(phenylazo)‐2‐thioxothiazolidine‐4‐one (HL) was prepared by the reaction of allyl rhodanine with aniline through diazo‐coupling reaction. Reaction of HL with Ni(II) or Co(II) salts gave polymer complexes ( 1 – 8 ) with general stoichiometries [M(HL)(Cl)2(OH2)2]n, [M(HL)(O2SO2)(OH2)2]n, [M(L)(O2NO)(H2O)2]n and [M(L)(O2CCH3)(H2O)2]n (where M = Ni(II) or Co(II)). The structures of the polymer complexes were identified using elemental analysis, infrared and electronic spectra, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, X‐ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. The interaction between the polymer complexes and calf thymus DNA showed a hypochromism effect. HL and its polymer complexes were tested against bacterial and fungal species. Co(II) polymer complex 2 is the most effective against Klebsiella pneumoniae and is more active than penicillin. The results showed that Ni(II) polymer complex 5 is a good antibacterial agent against Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Molecular docking was used to predict the binding between the monomer with the receptors of prostate cancer (PDB code: 2Q7L Hormone) and breast cancer (PDB code: 1JNX Gene regulation). Coats–Redfern and Horowitz–Metzger methods were applied for calculating the thermodynamic parameters of HL and its polymer complexes. The thermal activation energy of decomposition for HL is higher than that for the polymer complexes.  相似文献

Potassium silanide [KSiH3] contains 4.2 wt % of hydrogen and has been intensely studied as hydrogen storage material. The macrocyclic ligand Me4TACD (1,4,7,10-tetramethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraaminocyclododecane, L ) stabilizes the full range of triphenylsilyl complexes [( L )MSiPh3]n (M=Li–Cs), which react with H2 or PhSiH3 to form molecular [( L )MSiH3]n that can be isolated in soluble form and fully characterized.  相似文献

Novel mononuclear oxovanadium(IV) and manganese(III) complexes [VO(L1)2·H2O] (1); [VO(L2)2·H2O] (2); [VO(L3)2·H2O] (3); [Mn(L1)2]ClO4·H2O (4); [Mn(L2)2] ClO4·H2O (5); [Mn(L3)2]ClO4·H2O (6) were prepared by condensation of 1 mol of VOSO4·5H2O or Mn(OAc)3· 2H2O with 2 mol of ligand HL1, HL2 or HL3 (where HL1 = 4-[(2-hydroxy-ethylamino)-methylene]-5-methyl-2- phenyl-2,4-dihydro-pyrazol-3-one; HL2=4-[(2-hydroxy-ethylamino)-methylene]-5-methyl-2-p-tolyl-2,4-dihydro-pyrazol-3-one; HL3=4-{4-[(2-hydroxy-ethyl-amino)-methyl]-3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl} benzene sulfonic acid). The resulting complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance, magnetic and decomposition temperature measurements, electron spin resonance, FAB mass, IR and electronic spectral studies. From TGA, DTA and DSC, the thermal behaviour and degradation kinetic were studied. Electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate distorted octahedral stereochemistry of oxovanadium(IV) complexes and regular octahedral stereochemistry of manganese(III) complexes. Hamiltonian and bonding parameters found from ESR spectra indicate the metal ligand bonding is partial covalent. The X-ray single crystal determination of one of the representative ligand was carried out which suggests existence of amine-one tautomeric form in the solid state. The 1H-NMR spectra support the existence of imine-ol form in solution state. The LC-MS studies sustain the1H-NMR result. The electronic structure of the same representative ligand was optimized using 6-311G basis set at HF level ab initio studies to predict the coordinating atoms of the ligand.  相似文献

Ruthenium(III) complexes formulated as K2[Ru(sar)Cl4]·H2O and K[Ru(dmgly)2Cl2]·3H2O containing bidentate chelates N-methylglycine (sarcosine, sar) or N,N-dimethylglycine (dmgly) as well as K[Ru(pdda)Cl2]·2.5H2O complex with tetradentate 1,3-propylenediamine-N,N′-diacetato were synthesized. The complexes were obtained by direct reaction of ruthenium(III) chloride with the corresponding bidentate or tetradentate ligand followed by addition of a base (KOH). These new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR and electronic absorption spectroscopy. To assess selectivity in the antitumor action of these complexes, their antiproliferative activities against human adenocarcinoma HeLa cells, human myelogenous leukemia K562 cells, human breast carcinoma MDA-MB-361 and MDA-MB-453 cells and normal immunocompetent PBM cells were determined.  相似文献

Two new terbium complexes with aromatic carboxylic acids, [(Tb)2(L1)6(H2O)4] (1) and [(Tb)2(L2)6(H2O)2(DMF)2] (2) (HL1: nicotinic acid; HL2: 4-hydroxybenzoic acid), with different coordination geometries have been synthesized and their crystal structures determined. The luminescence properties of the two complexes, including the phosphorescence lifetime, have been investigated. The effect of a secondary ligand on luminescence of the ternary terbium complex with carboxylic acid and the relationship between luminescence properties and crystal structure, including coordination mode of the carboxyl groups from HL1 and HL2 and coordination mode of a secondary ligand, are discussed.  相似文献

The reaction of 3-phenyl-5-(2-pyridyl)pyrazole (HL0) and 3-phenyl-5-(6-methyl-(2-pyridyl))pyrazole (HL1) with nickel(II) salts produces mononuclear coordination compounds. The new complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, conductivity measurements and infrared and electronic spectroscopies. Two different forms of mononuclear nickel(II) complexes have been prepared and structurally characterised by X-ray crystallography: [Ni(HL0)2Cl(H2O)][Ni(HL0)2(H2O)2]Cl3·CH3OH·H2O and [Ni(HL1)2(H2O)2]Br2·2.5DMF. In the cationic complexes, the coordination of the Ni(II) is octahedral with two bidentate HL0 or HL1 neutral ligands in a cis disposition. The degree of distortion from regular octahedral geometry is compared to closely related structures. In the solid state, cations and anions are bonded by hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

A novel tetradentate nitrogen donor [N4] macrocyclic ligand, i.e. 3,5,13,15,21,22-hexaaza-2,6,12,16-tetramethyl-4,14-dithia-tricyclo[15.3.1.1(7–11)]docosane-1(21),2,5,7,9,11(22),12,15,17,19-decaene, has been synthesized. Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes with this ligand have been prepared and subjected to elemental analyses, molar conductance measurements, magnetic susceptibility measurements, mass, 1H-n.m.r. (Ligand), i.r., electronic, and e.p.r. spectral studies. On the basis of molar conductance the complexes may be formulated as [M(L)X2] and [Ni(L)]X2 [where M = Mn(II), Co(II) and Cu(II), and X = Cl and NO3] due to their nonelectrolytic nature in dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO). All the complexes are of the high spin type and are six coordinated. On the basis of i.r., electronic and e.p.r. spectral studies an octahedral geometry has been assigned to Mn(II) and Co(II), square planar for Ni(II) complexes, and tetragonal for Cu(II) complexes. The antimicrobial activities of the ligand and its complexes, as growth inhibiting agents, have been screened in vitro against several species of bacteria and plant pathogenic fungi.  相似文献

A template synthesis procedure yielded [Ni(HL1)NH3]I, where HL1 is the monoanion of the terdentate ONN benzoylacetone S-methylisothiosemicarbazone ligand. The reaction of this complex with an excess of NH4NCS, pyridine, or hydrazine resulted in the complexes [Ni(HL1)(NH3)NCS] and [Ni(L1)A] (A = Py, N2H4). The monoanionic form of the ligand is obtained by deprotonation of the enolic form of the benzoylacetone moiety, whereas the dianion is formed by additional deprotonation of the terminal NH2 group. Finally, the reaction of [Ni(HL1)NH3]I with salicyladehyde produced the NiL2 complex in which L2 stands for the dianion of the ONNO ligand N(1)-2-butylidene-4-oxo-4-phenyl-N(4)-salicylidene-S-methylisothiosemicarbazide. All complexes are diamagnetic and have a square-planar configuration, except for [Ni(HL1)(NH3)NCS], for which te data of i.r. spectra suggest a square-pyramidal structure. The electronic absorption spectra of the ethanolic solutions of all complexes are characteristic of typical square-planar coordination of nickel(II).  相似文献

Synthesis and characterization of allyl propenyl‐2‐(4‐derivatives phenylazo)butan‐3‐one (HLn) are described. The monomers obtained contain N?N and carbonyl functional groups in different positions with respect to the allyl group. This structural difference affects the stereochemical structure of the uranyl polymer complexes prepared by the direct reaction of uranyl acetate with the monomers. The polymer complexes are characterized by elemental analyses, 1H and 13C NMR, electronic and vibrational spectroscopy and other theoretical methods. The bonding sites of the hydrazone are deduced from IR and NMR spectra and each of the ligands were found to bond to the UO22+ ion in a bidentate fashion. The monomers obtained contain N?N and carbonyl functional groups in different positions with respect to the allyl group. IR spectra show that the allyl azo homopolymer (HLn) acts as a neutral bidentate ligand by coordinating via the two oxygen atom of the carbonyl group, thereby forming a six‐membered chelating ring. The υ3 frequency of UO22+ has been shown to be a good molecular probe for studying the coordinating power of the ligands. The υ3‐values of UO22+ from IR spectra have been used to calculate the force constant, FUO (in 10?8 N/Å) and the bond length RUO (in Å) of the U? O bond. We adopted a strategy based upon both theoretical and experimental investigations. The theoretical aspects are described in terms of the well‐known theory of 5d–4f transitions. The necessary structural data (coordination geometries and electronic structures) are determined from a framework for the modeling of novel polymer complexes. The Wilson, G. F. matrix method, Badger's formula and the Jones and El‐Sonbati equations were used to determine the stretching and interaction force constants from which the U? O bond distances were calculated. The bond distances of these complexes were also investigated. The effect of Hamett's constant is also discussed. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel tetradentate nitrogen donor [N4] macrocyclic ligand, i.e. 1,3,4,8,9,11-hexaaza-2,5,10,12-tetraoxo-7,14-diphenyl-cyclotetradecane (L), has been synthesized. Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes of this ligand have been prepared and subjected to elemental analyses, molar conductance measurements, magnetic susceptibility measurements, mass, 1H-n.m.r. (Ligand), i.r., electronic, and e.p.r. spectral studies. On the basis of molar conductance the Mn(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes may be formulated as [M(L)X2] [where X = Cl & NO 3 ] due to their non-electrolytic nature in dimethylformamide (DMF). Whereas the Ni(II) complexes are 1:2 electrolytes and formulated as [Ni(L)]X2. All the complexes are of the high spin type and are six/four coordinate. On the basis of i.r., electronic and e.p.r. spectral studies an octahedral geometry has been assigned to Mn(II) and Co(II), square planar for Ni(II) complexes, and tetragonal for Cu(II) complexes. Reactions of the macrocyclic ligand [L·2HClO4] with the reactants [Ir(CO)(Ph3P)2Cl] and [RuCl3(AsPh3)2CH3OH], produces bimetallic complexes with the stoichiometries [Ir2L(Ph3P)2Cl(ClO4)] (I) and [Ru2LCl4(ClO4)2] (II), respectively. Physico-chemical and spectroscopic data of the complexes confirms the encapsulation of two metal ions in the macrocyclic cavities via coordination through nitrogen atoms of the unsymmetrical aza groups, which results in homo-dinuclear macrocyclic complexes. The macrocyclic ligand has accommodated both the lower, Ir(I), and higher, Ru(III), oxidation states of metal ions, which shows the flexible nature and capability of macrocycle to form stable complexes. The mode of bonding and geometry of the complexes have been established on the basis of FT-IR, NMR, ligand field spectral, magnetic susceptibility and conductivity measurements. The thermodynamic first ionic association constants (K1), corresponding free energy change (ΔG) and other related parameters from conductometric studies using the Fuoss and Edelson method of complexes in DMSO have been determined and discussed.  相似文献

Reactions of 2-(arylazo)aniline, HL-NH2 [H represents the dissociable protons upon complexation and HL-NH2 is p-RC6H4NNC6H4-NH2; R = H for HL1-NH2; CH3 for HL2-NH2 and Cl for HL3-NH2] with Ru(H)(CO)(PPh3)3Cl and Ru(CO)3(PPh3)2 afforded products of compositions [(HL-NH)Ru(CO)Cl(PPh3)2] and [(L-NH)Ru(PPh3)2(CO)], respectively. All the complexes were characterized unequivocally. The X-ray structures of the complexes 4c and 5c have been determined. The cyclic volatammograms exhibited one reversible oxidative response in the range of 0.56–0.16 V versus SCE for [(L-NH)Ru(PPh3)2(CO)] and a quasi reversible oxidative response within 0.56–0.70 V versus SCE for [(HL-NH)Ru(CO)Cl(PPh3)2]. The conversion of ketones to corresponding alcohols has been studied in presence of newly synthesized ruthenium complexes.  相似文献
