相干谐波储存环自由电子激光的相干增强因子正比于光学速调管自发辐射谱调制率的平方,加深光学速调管自发辐射谱的调制是相干谐波储存环自由电子激光研究的重要一环.介绍在中国科学技术大学800MeV电子储存环上所进行的加深光学速调管自发辐射谱调制的研究工作,调制率已从0.236提高到了0.80,为相干谐波产生实验奠定了基础.  相似文献

本文提出一种可产生高增益高次谐波辐射的自由电子激光新结构, 将光速调管结构置于振荡器光腔中构成HGHG中的调制器, 可以去掉传统HGHG调制器中的种子激光. 这种结构可以具有振荡器的高重频、纵向相干和窄带宽等优点. 采用GINGER模拟软件对此结构进行详细模拟, 在高达12次谐波仍能很好的输出. 关键词: 激光器 光速调管 高增益高次谐波 振荡器  相似文献

 描述了CHG-SRFEL光学速调管磁极间隙全闭环控制系统的原理,给出了系统硬件结构和软件设计。可独立或同步调节光学速调管调制段、色散段及辐射段磁极间隙的大小,分辨率达到20μm,精度达到5μm。通过改进系统位置监测设备,可进一步提高分辨率及精度。系统已经在光学速调管磁场测量、垫补中使用,具有精度高、安全性高、操作方便等特点。  相似文献

Higher harmonics of spontaneous emission from an optical klystron have been observed. The modulation factor of the spontaneous emission spectrum for the higher harmonics can be described by considering the observation system. When the dispersive gap of the optical klystron was fixed, the microstructure interval of the spontaneous emission spectrum at a certain resonant wavelength became narrower as the order of the higher harmonic became larger. Some unique characteristics of the higher harmonics have been clarified, and these studies are likely to contribute to the development of free‐electron lasers using higher harmonics of an optical klystron in the shorter‐wavelengths region.  相似文献

用毫米波段的光学速调管结构改进自由电子激光器的增益和效率.编制计算机模拟的程序,用来设计光学速调管装置.对于采用小周期摆动磁场的特定情况,片状电子束电压300keV,电流17A,摆动磁场周期3.7mm,工作频率300GHz,光学速调管的增益和效率分别计算为27.9dB和0.5%.若电子束电压为450keV,电流为25A,磁场周期为1cm,工作频率为160GHz,计算结果增益和效率分别为32dB和2.7%.  相似文献

The development of free electron lasers (FELs) with a compact storage ring NIJI-IV in the near- and middle-infrared regions has been advanced at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. The optical klystron ETLOK-III was installed in one of the long straight sections of the NIJI-IV, and spontaneous emission spectra were observed in the visible and near-infrared regions. Optical cavity chambers for infrared FELs were installed this February, and it was confirmed that the vibration amplitude of the optical cavity chambers was below 0.5 μm in an optical beam axis. FEL experiments in the near-infrared region will be performed this winter.  相似文献

HL-2A装置上建设了1套3.7GHz/2MW/2s的低杂波系统,高功率长脉冲波源使用TH2103型速调管。设计了1套可以固定探针的机构,完成了速调管配套磁体的磁场测量,得到了中心轴线上的磁场分布特性,中心磁场最强达到176mT。在不同的空间位置,3组线圈电流分别对磁场分布起主要影响。1号电源主要影响阴极附近磁场分布,同时对谐振腔也有部分影响;2号电源主要对谐振腔产生影响,同时在功率输出窗口附近有一定影响;3号电源主要在输出窗口附近有影响,其他位置影响不明显。结果为速调管工作状态优化提供了方向。  相似文献

Stimulated Compton-Raman scattering and free electron lasers are formulated as parametric (four-photon) or three-wave interaction processes. Manley-Rowe relations and depletable pump equations are derived for both free electron lasers and optical klystron schemes. A process of backward wave oscillation is predicted when a pump radiation field is back scattered off a codirectionally propagating e beam with frequency down conversion. A practicable experiment in the optical regime is proposed to demonstrate this effect.  相似文献

介绍了HL-2A装置低杂波加热系统中的低压部分实时保护系统的原理和工作情况。实时保护电路工作可靠,系统低压部份响应延迟时间小于1μs。在2004年的单只速调管实验中,对波导内拉弧打火,速调管管体电流和速调管集电极过流进行了实时保护,各个保护对象都有专用的探头进行测量,其中管体电流探头精度达到0.7%。实验信号的分析表明保护系统的设计达到了实验要求,有效地保护了实验对象。  相似文献

 根据简单的计算模型,导出辐射能量谱形状因子和相干谐波辐射表达式,用此表达式讨论了不对称光学速调管的相干谐波辐射;对于合肥储存环相干谐波自由电子激光,提出了一个不对称光学速调管相干谐波辐射的研究方案,并且作了详细的计算,结果表明在较高的电子束能量下,调整光学速调管和外激光参数,使辐射段波荡器的辐射基波与外激光的二次谐波共振,进行相干谐波产生实验,能获得109量级相干加强因子。  相似文献

电子光学系统是毫米波速调管长寿命和整管性能实现的关键,毫米波速调管零件尺寸较小,为了在Ka波段和W波段实现千瓦量级的输出功率,要求具有高的电子注通过率及低的阴极负荷。对Ka波段和W波段电子光学系统特性进行了分析,确定了Ka波段10 kW分布作用速调管和W波段1 kW分布作用速调管电子光学系统的设计方案,利用软件对电子枪和聚焦系统的结构进行计算,并采用CST仿真软件对设计的电子枪发射的电子注在聚焦磁场中的状态进行优化。设计出的Ka波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压26 kV,发射电流2 A,互作用区长度30 mm,磁场强度大于0.6 T,流通达到100%。设计的W波段速调管电子光学系统,电子枪工作电压17 kV,电流0.65 A,互作用区长度20 mm,磁场大于0.9 T,流通达到100%。已制成Ka波段速调管和W波段速调管,设计的电子光学系统能够满足速调管工程化需求。  相似文献

To reduce the energy demand and operation cost for circular electron positron collider (CEPC), the high efficiency klystrons are being developed at Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A 800-kW continuous wave (CW) klystron operating at frequency of 650-MHz has been designed. The results of beam-wave interaction simulation with several different codes are presented. The efficiency is optimized to be 65% with a second harmonic cavity in three-dimensional (3D) particle-in-cell code CST. The effect of cavity frequency error and mismatch load on efficiency of klystron have been investigated. The design and cold test of reentrant cavities are described, which meet the requirements of RF section design. So far, the manufacturing and high-power test of the first klystron prototype have been completed. When the gun operated at DC voltage of 80 kV and current of 15.4 A, the klystron peak power reached 804 kW with output efficiency of about 65.3% at 40% duty cycle. The 1-dB bandwidth is ±0.8 MHZ. Due to the crack of ceramic window, the CW power achieved about 700 kW. The high-power test results are in good agreement with 3D simulation.  相似文献

为HL-2M低混杂波电流驱动系统研制了16路J型数字校准热电偶测温仪,可实现16通道温度测量,测温范围为0~250°C,测量范围内误差绝对值小于1°C,具有本地高清液晶显示温度值和电脑远程温度采集功能。该测温仪已成功用于HL-2M低混杂波加热系统的调试实验,对不同输出功率条件下高功率速调管输出腔温度进行了测量,保证了速调管运行的安全性。  相似文献

A 16-channel J-type thermocouple instrument with digital calibration for the lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) system on HL-2M tokamak was developed to achieve 16 channel temperature measurements. The temperature measurement range is 0~250°C with the absolute error value less than 1°C. The temperature can be displayed on the liquid crystal display (LCD) and read on the computer remotely. The J-type thermocouple instrument has been successfully used in the debugging experiment of the LHCD heating system of HL-2M tokamak. The temperature of output cavity of the high power klystron has been measured under different output power conditions to ensure the safety of the klystron in operation.  相似文献

Z-scan study of third-order optical nonlinearities in bismuth-based glasses   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The third-order optical nonlinearity was measured in bismuth-based glasses by Z-scan technique using femto-second laser pulses. Re(χ(3)) = 4.9 × 10−11 esu at 748 nm was obtained in the glass containing 65.5 mol% of Bi2O3. Although, the wavelength dependence of Re(χ(3)) shows resonant effect significantly, relatively small nonlinear absorption coefficient β = 0.8 cm/GW at 769 nm was estimated. Bismuth-based glass exhibits the largest third-order optical nonlinearity in oxide glasses, indicating they are promising materials used for nonlinear optical devices.  相似文献

 速调管电子枪是速调管重要部件之一,它为速调管高频腔提供直流电子注。对国产50 MW速调管电子枪束流光学系统进行了模拟分析,并对电子枪陶瓷筒进行了重新设计和优化。为了在国产30 MW速调管的基础上设计50 MW速调管,采用进口钡钨电子枪阴极来减小蒸发和抑制打火,将电子注电压提高到320 kV,电流和导流系数分别为346 A和1.91 μp,以满足速调管功率提高的需要。设计出低电场强度(22.1 kV/mm)电子枪新结构,即在不影响电子枪内部束流稳定的前提下,将陶瓷筒设计成靠近阴极端半径较大而远离阴极端半径较小的形状,以避免高功率运行致使陶瓷筒的损坏。  相似文献
