The novel 8-coordinate zirconium compound (NH(4))(6)[Zr(PMo(12)O(40))(PMo(11)O(39))].26H(2)O (1) has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and vibrational and (31)P NMR spectroscopy. It is the first example of a metal complex containing both parent, [PMo(12)O(40)](3)(-), and monovacant lacunary, [PMo(11)O(39)](7)(-), anions. Furthermore, this is the first crystallographic determination of the [PMo(11)O(39)](7)(-) anion.  相似文献

The syntheses and crystal structures of a series of zirconium(IV) and hafnium(IV) complexes with Dawson monovacant phosphotungstate [alpha2-P2W17O61](10-) and in situ-generated Keggin monovacant phosphotungstate [alpha-PW11O39](7-), which was obtained by a reaction of [alpha-PW12O40](3-) with Na2CO3, are described. K15H[Zr(alpha2-P2W17O61)2].25H2O (K-1), K16[Hf(alpha2-P2W17O61)2].19H2O (K-2), (Et2NH2)10[Zr(alpha-PW11O39)2].7H2O (Et2NH2-3), and (Et2NH2)10[Hf(alpha-PW11O39)2].2H2O (Et2NH2-4), being afforded by reactions in aqueous solutions of monolacunary Dawson and Keggin polyoxotungstates with ZrCl2O.8H2O and HfCl2O.8H2O followed by exchanging countercations, were obtained as analytically pure, homogeneous colorless crystals. Single-crystal X-ray structure analyses revealed that the Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) ions are in a square antiprismatic coordination environment with eight oxygen atoms, four of them being provided from each of the two monovacant polyanion ligands. Although the total molecular shapes and the 8-coordinate zirconium and hafnium centers of complexes 1-4 are identical, the bonding modes (bond lengths and bond angles) around the zirconium(IV) and hafnium(IV) centers were dependent on the monovacant structures of the polyanion ligands. Additionally, the characterization of complexes 1-4 was accomplished by elemental analysis, TG/DTA, FTIR, and solution (31P and 183W) NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

We report the syntheses and crystal structures of (NH4)11[Ln(III)(PMo11O39)2.xH2O (where Ln = every trivalent lanthanide cation except promethium) in which two lacunary [PMo11O39]7- anions sandwich an 8-coordinate Ln(III) cation to yield the complex anion, [LnIII(PMo11O39)2]11-. The 14 salts crystallise in two different space groups, C2/c or P1, but the LnIII containing anions are isostructural across the whole series, a very rare example of such a complete study. Solid state and solution 31P NMR, Raman and IR spectroscopies have been used to prove the stability of [Ln(PMo11O39)2]11- in aqueous solution. As expected, the LnIII cation contracts across the series and the Ln-O bond distances decrease uniformly. Interestingly, the splitting in the nu(P-O) mode within the [PMo11O39]7- unit increases uniformly across the series, which we attribute to the stronger interaction with the smaller, higher charge density LnIII cation as the series is traversed. For the 31P NMR measurements a direct comparison of Lanthanide Induced (paramagnetic) Shift could be made with the analogous [P(W11O39)2]11- complexes.  相似文献

A CE method was developed for the simultaneous determination of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) at trace levels. A lacunary Keggin-type [PW(11)O(39)](7-) ligand reacted quantitatively with a mixture of trace amounts of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) to form the so-called ternary Keggin-type anions [P(Zr(IV)W(11))O(40)](5-) and [P(Hf(IV)W(11))O(40)](5-) in 0.010 M monochloroacetate buffer (pH 2.2). Since both ternary anions possessed different electrophoretic mobilities and high molar absorptivities in the UV region, Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) were determined simultaneously with direct UV detection at 258 nm. Each peak height was linearly dependent on the concentration of Zr(IV) or Hf(IV) in the range of 5.0x10(-7)-1.0x10(-5) M; a detection limit of 2x10(-7) M was achieved. The utility of the proposed CE method was demonstrated for the simultaneous determination of Zr(IV) and Hf(IV) in natural water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

1 INTRODUCTION The rational design and synthesis of organic-inor- ganic hybrid materials have recently attracted an increasing interest not only from a structural point of view, but also due to their potential applications in different areas such as catalysis, medicine, sorption, electrical conductivity, magnetism and photoche- mistry[1~8]. It should be noted that polyoxometalates (POMs)[9~11], known as their wide applications in many interdisciplinary fields, are an outstanding class o…  相似文献

The structural evolution of Keggin-type heteropolyoxomolybdates (HPOM) during thermal treatment in propene and in propene and oxygen in the temperature range from 300 to 773 K was investigated by in situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) and in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) combined with mass spectrometry. During treatment in propene or hydrogen and at reaction temperatures above 673 K, the initially triclinic H(3)[PMo(12)O(40)].13 H(2)O is transformed quantitatively into a cubic HPOM (Pn$\bar 3$m, a=11.853 A) exhibiting a long-range structure similar to that of the corresponding cesium salts. The treatment described constitutes the first readily available preparation route for a cubic HPOM without alkali metal ions in the structure. For both H(3)[PMo(12)O(40)] and Cs(2)H[PMo(12)O(40)] migration of molybdenum from the Keggin ion onto interstitial sites is proposed to occur in propene or hydrogen at temperatures above about 573 K to give thermally stable, partially reduced lacunary Keggin ions. During activation in propene and oxygen the onset of catalytic activity of H(3)[PMo(12)O(40)] and Cs(2)H[PMo(12)O(40)] at about 573 K correlates with partial reduction of Mo and characteristic changes in the local structure of the Keggin ion. The structural changes observed indicate that, similar to the treatment of the HPOM in propene, migration of molybdenum from the Keggin ions onto interstitial sites and formation of lacunary Keggin ions take place. Moreover, the formation of these partially reduced lacunary Keggin ions appears to be a prerequisite for the material to become an active heterogeneous catalyst. Evidently, the undistorted Keggin ion in the as-prepared HPOM has to be regarded as a precursor of the active catalyst.  相似文献

Electron transfer from the electron donor of p-phenylenediamine (PPD) to the electron acceptor of (H+)3[PMo12O40]3- forms a one-electron-reduced Keggin cluster of [PMo12O40]4-, bearing a S = 1/2 spin, while proton transfer from the proton donor of (H+)3[PMo12O40]3- to the proton acceptor of PPD yielded mono- and diprotonated cations of 4-aminoanilinium (HPPD+) and p-phenylenediammonium (H2PPD2+). By introduction of crown ether receptors during the crystallization process, supramolecular cations of (HPPD+)(crown ethers) and/or (H2PPD2+)(crown ethers) were successfully introduced into three new alpha-[PMo12O40]4- salts of (H2PPD2+)2([12]crown-4)4[PMo12O40]4- (1), (HPPD+)4([15]crown-5)4[PMo12O40]4- (2), and (HPPD+)2(H2PPD2+)([18]crown-6)4[PMo12O40]4- (3) as the countercation. The protonated states of PPD and molecular-assembly structures of the supramolecular cations depended on the size of the crown ethers. In salt 3, a novel mixed-protonated state of HPPD+ and H2PPD2+ was confirmed to be complexed in the cation structure. According to the changes in the cation structures, the anion arrangements were modulated from those of the two-dimensional layer for salt 1 to the isolated cluster for salts 2 and 3. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities of salts 1-3 were consistent with the isolated spin arrangements of [PMo12O40]4-. The electronic spectra of salts 1-3 indicated the intervalence optical transition from pentavalent Mo(V) to hexavalent Mo(VI) ions within the [PMo12O40]4- cluster. Temperature-dependent electron spin resonance spectra of salt 2 revealed the delocalization-localization transition of the S = 1/2 spin at 60 K. The spin on the [PMo12O40]4- cluster was localized on a specific Mo(V) site below 60 K, which was thermally activated with an activation energy of 0.015 eV.  相似文献

The interaction of 20 wt% 12-tungstophosphoric acid with Ce(x)Zr(1-x)O(2) solid solutions has been studied by PXRD, FTIR, FT-Raman, H(2)-TPR, NH(3)-TPD, diffuse reflectance UV-vis-NIR, and (31)P MAS NMR techniques. The study indicates that the Keggin anions are attached to Lewis metal ion centres and anion vacancies on Ce(x)Zr(1-x)O(2) supports through WO terminal bonds. The Keggin units at the interface are chemically perturbed as indicated by non-intrinsic IR bands observed at 958 cm(-1) (WO(ter) bond), and 1052, 1102 cm(-1) (PO bond). NH(3)-TPD shows that the Keggin anions fixed to Lewis sites and/or oxygen ion vacancies decrease the ammonia uptake on Ce(x)Zr(1-x)O(2) solid solutions. H(2)-TPR shows modified redox behaviour of Ce(x)Zr(1-x)O(2) solid solutions due to the simultaneous reduction of ceria, decomposition of Keggin anions and the reduction of WO(3). The broadening of (31)P MAS NMR and DR-UV-vis-NIR spectra demonstrate the existence of chemical interactions between the Keggin anions and Ce(x)Zr(1-x)O(2) supports.  相似文献

Several novel compounds with the non-linear optical chromophore 2-amino-5-nitropyridine (2A5NP) and Keggin polyoxoanions (alpha-isomers), having the general formula (2A5NP)(m)H(n)[XM12O40].xH2O, M = Mo, W, were synthesised. Compounds were obtained with X = P, n = 3, m = 3 and 4 and X = Si, n = m = 4 (x = 2-6). Thus, for each of the anions [PMo12O40]3- and [PW12O40]3- two different compounds were obtained, with the same anion and organic counterpart but with a different stoichiometric ratio. These presented different charge transfer properties and thermal stability. All compounds were characterised by spectroscopic and analytical techniques. The single crystal X-ray diffraction structure of (2A5NP)4H3[PMo12O40].2.5H2O.0.5C2H5OH showed that the water solvent molecules and the organic chromophores are assembled via infinite one-dimensional chains of hydrogen bonds with formation of open channels, which accommodate [PMo12O40]3- and ethanol solvent molecules.  相似文献

A computational study of the relative stability of the monolacunary Keggin polyoxotungstates alpha and beta 3-[XW 11O 39] ( m- ) (X = P, m = 7; X = Si, m = 8) was performed. The influence of the nature of different grafted cations and of the central anion XO 4 ( n- ) on the relative stabilities of the lacunary isomers was analyzed. From these results, an interpretation of the structural difference in the metallic frameworks of alpha-[PW 11O 39{Ru(DMSO) 3(H 2O)}] (5-), alpha-[PW 11O 39{Ru(C 6H 6)(H 2O)}] (5-), and beta 3-[SiW 11O 39{Ru(DMSO) 3(H 2O)}] (6-) is proposed, and conclusions are drawn as to how to favor the formation of beta 3 derivatives in future syntheses.  相似文献

The di- and tetranuclear metal sandwich-type silicotungstates of Cs10[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Zr(H2O)}2(mu-OH)2] x 18 H2O (Zr2, monoclinic, C2/c (No. 15), a = 25.3315(8) A, b = 22.6699(7) A, c = 18.5533(6) A, beta = 123.9000(12) degrees, V = 8843.3(5) A(3), Z = 4), Cs10[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Hf(H2O)}2(mu-OH)2] x 17 H2O (Hf2, monoclinic, space group C2/c (No. 15), a = 25.3847(16) A, b = 22.6121(14) A, c = 18.8703(11) A, beta = 124.046(3) degrees, V = 8974.9(9) A(3), Z = 4), Cs8[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Zr(H2O)}4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6] x 26 H2O (Zr4, tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2 (No. 92), a = 12.67370(10) A, c = 61.6213(8) A, V = 9897.78(17) A(3), Z = 4), and Cs8[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Hf(H2O)}4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6] x 23 H2O (Hf4, tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2 (No. 92), a = 12.68130(10) A, c = 61.5483(9) A, V = 9897.91(18) A(3), Z = 4) were obtained as single crystals suitable for X-ray crystallographic analyses by the reaction of a dilacunary gamma-Keggin silicotungstate K8[gamma-SiW10O36] with ZrOCl2 x 8 H2O or HfOCl2 x 8 H2O. These dimeric polyoxometalates consisted of two [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) units sandwiching metal-oxygen clusters such as [M2(mu-OH)2](6+) and [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) (M = Zr or Hf). The dinuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes Zr2 and Hf2 were isostructural. The equatorially placed two metal atoms in Zr2 and Hf2 were linked by two mu-OH ligands and each metal was bound to four oxygen atoms of two [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) units. The tertanuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes Zr4 and Hf4 were isostructural and consisted of the adamantanoid cages with a tetracoordinated oxygen atom in the middle, [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) (M = Zr or Hf). Each metal atom in Zr4 and Hf4 was linked by three mu-OH ligands and bound to two oxygen atoms of the [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) unit. The tetra-nuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes showed catalytic activity for the intramolecular cyclization of (+)-citronellal to isopulegols without formation of byproducts resulting from etherification and dehydration. A lacunary silicotungstate [gamma-SiW10O34(H2O)2](4-) was inactive, and the isomer ratio of isopulegols in the presence of MOCl2 x 8 H2O (M = Zr or Hf) were much different from that in the presence of tetranuclear complexes, suggesting that the [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) core incorporated into the POM frameworks acts as an active site for the present cyclization. On the other hand, the reaction hardly proceeded in the presence of dinuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes under the same conditions. The much less activity is possibly explained by the steric repulsion from the POM frameworks in the dinuclear complexes.  相似文献

The nitration of alkanes by using nitric acid as a nitrating agent in acetic acid was efficiently promoted by vanadium-substituted Keggin-type phosphomolybdates such as [H4PVMo11O40], [H5PV2Mo10O40], and [H6PV3Mo9O40] as catalyst precursors. A variety of alkanes including alkylbenzenes were nitrated to the corresponding nitroalkanes as major products in moderate yields with formation of oxygenated products under mild reaction conditions. The carbon--carbon bond cleavage reactions hardly proceeded. ESR, NMR, and IR spectroscopic data show that the vanadium-substituted polyoxometalate, for example, [H4PVMo11O40], decomposes to form free vanadium species and [PMo12O40](3-) Keggin anion. The reaction mechanism involving a radical-chain path is proposed. The polyoxometalates initially abstract the hydrogen of the alkane to form the alkyl radical and the reduced polyoxometalates. The reduced polyoxometalates subsequently react with nitric acid to produce the oxidized form and nitrogen dioxide. This step would be promoted mainly by the phosphomolybdates, [PMo12O40](n-), and the vanadium cations efficiently enhance the activity. The nitrogen dioxide promotes the further formation of nitrogen dioxide and an alkyl radical. The alkyl radical is trapped by nitrogen dioxide to form the corresponding nitroalkane.  相似文献

The structure and stability of magnesia-supported copper salts of molybdovanadophosphoric acid (Cu(2)PMo(11)VO(40)) were characterized by different techniques. The catalyst was prepared in ethanol by impregnation because this solvent does not hurt texture of the water-sensitive MgO and Cu(2)PMo(11)VO(40). The Keggin-type structure compound may be degraded partially to form oligomerized polyoxometalate when supported on MgO. However, the oligomers can rebuild as the Keggin structure again after thermal treatment in air or during the reaction. Meanwhile, the V atoms migrate out of the Keggin structure to form a lacunary structure, as observed by Fourier transform IR spectroscopy. Moreover, the presence of Cu(2+) as a countercation showed an affirmative influence on the migration of V atoms, and the active sites derived from the lacunary species generated after release of V from the Keggin anion. The electron paramagnetic resonance data imply that V(5+) autoreduces to V(4+) in the fresh catalyst, and during the catalytic reaction a large number of V(4+) ions are produced, which enhance the formation of O(2-) vacancies around the metal atoms. These oxygen vacancies may also improve the reoxidation function of the catalyst. This behavior is correlated to higher catalytic properties of this catalyst. The oxidative dehydrogenation of hexanol to hexanal was studied over this catalyst. After reaction at 553.2 K for 50 h, catalytic properties did not decrease and exhibited higher selectivity (>96.0%) toward hexanal.  相似文献

The spectroscopic properties of the neodymium(III)-containing polyoxometalates (POMs) [Nd(PW(11)O(39))(2)](11-), [Nd(PMo(2)W(9)O(39))(2)](11-), [Nd(PMo(4)W(7)O(39))(2)](11-), [Nd(PMo(6)W(5)O(39))(2)](11-), [Nd(SiMo(2)W(9)O(39))(2)](13-), [Nd(P(2)W(17)O(61))(2)](17-), [NdW(10)O(36)](9-), [NdP(5)W(30)O(110)](12-) and [NdAs(4)W(40)O(140)](25-) are described. Absorption spectra of aqueous solutions of the complexes have been recorded and the transition intensities are parameterised in terms of the Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters Omega(lambda) (lambda=2, 4, 6). Marked differences were found between the luminescence lifetimes of the complexes of the type Nd(POM) and those of the type Nd(POM)(2), due to a better shielding of the neodymium(III) ions from the bulk water molecules in the latter type of complexes.  相似文献
