Analysis of wine primary aroma compounds by stir bar sorptive extraction   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2

Due to the great importance of some primary aroma compounds on wine quality, these compounds which includes terpenes, C13-norisoprenoids and C6 compounds, have been analyzed by stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) followed by a thermal desorption-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis. The stir bar sorptive extraction method was optimized in terms of temperature, time, pH and NaCl addition. The best SBSE sorption kinetics for the target analytes were obtained after submitting the solutions to 60 °C during 90 min. The addition of sodium chloride did not enhance the volatile extraction. The method proposed showed good linearity over the concentration range tested, with correlation coefficients higher than 0.98 for all the analytes. The reproducibility and repeatability of the method was estimated between 0.22 and 9.11%. The detection and quantification limits of all analytes were lower than their respective olfactory threshold values. The application of this SBSE method revealed that monovarietal white wines were clearly separated by two canonic discriminating functions when grape varieties were used as differentiating variable, the first of which explained 98.4% of the variance. The compounds which contributed most to the differentiation were limonene, linalool, nerolidol and 1-hexanol.  相似文献

A novel stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) method coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and UV detection for the extraction of diclofenac (DIC) from paediatric urine samples has been developed and validated. Selectivity and sensitivity being the prime objectives of the bioanalytical method for clinical samples, an optimised SBSE protocol was developed that selectively extracted DIC from various concurrently administered drugs. The validated assay was found to be linear (r = 0.9999) over a concentration range of 100-2000 ng mL−1. SBSE showed consistent recoveries (∼70%) of DIC across the validated linearity range. Overall, the method exhibited excellent accuracy and precision across all QC concentrations, tested over three days. Calculated LOD and LOQ were found to be 12.03 ng mL−1 and 36.37 ng mL−1, respectively, however, for the experimental purposes, 100 ng mL−1 was considered as the validated LOQ (accuracy and precision at this LQC was <20%). Further, studies on various attributes of the stir bar/SBSE, showed no significant inter- and intra-stir bar variability for DIC extraction. There was no carryover effect with re-use of conditioned stir bars and for the first time, a systematic investigation on the effect of ageing of stir bars on their extraction efficiency was carried out. Results showed that, for the present study, stir bars which were used 150 times were still functional based on in-house acceptance criteria and extraction efficiency. The validated method was successfully applied to the analysis of DIC in paediatric clinical trial samples.  相似文献

A stir bar microextraction (SBSE) procedure for the determination of seven strobilurin fungicides in fruit samples using liquid chromatography (LC) and diode array detection (DAD) has been developed. The samples were sonicated in the presence of ethanol before submitting the extracts to SBSE. The incorporation of drazoxolon as an internal standard before SBSE allowed calibration without the need to use the standard additions method. Under the optimized conditions, detection limits were in the 0.3–2 ng g−1 range, corresponding to trifloxystrobin and metominostrobin, respectively. The SBSE–LC–DAD procedure showed good repeatability (RSD below 11% in all cases) and provided recoveries of 80–105% from spiked samples. The method was applied to fifteen fruit samples, and low levels of pyraclostrobin and trifloxystrobin were found in two of them.  相似文献

A comparison is made between static headspace analysis and stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) for the quantitative determination of furan. The SBSE technique was optimised and evaluated using two example food matrices (coffee and jarred baby food). The use of the SBSE technique in most cases, gave comparable results to the static headspace method, using the method of standard additions with d4-labelled furan as an internal standard. Using the SBSE method, limits of detection down to 2 ng g−1 were achieved, with only a 1 h extraction. The method was performed at ambient temperatures, thus eliminating the possibility of formation of furan during extraction.  相似文献

A method for the analysis of trace polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) in aqueous samples has been established by polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) rod aided stir bar sorptive extraction(SBSE). The homemade PDMS rod has a size of 30 mm?3 mm o.d. with a volume of ca. 200 ?L, stable in thermal desorption process. The enriched PAHs by the PDMS rod were released in a homemade thermal desorption system coupled with gas chromatography. Experimental parameters for extraction of six PAHs were optimized including extraction time, pH, ionic strength and temperature of solution. The procedure has good recoveries of 80.0%―100.3% and very low limits of detection of 4.0―33 ng/L. PAHs in rain and river water were analyzed by this method.  相似文献

A method for the trace analysis of methylmercury (MeHg) and Hg(II) in water sample was developed, which involved stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) with in situ alkylation with sodium tetraethylborate and thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The limits of quantification of MeHg and Hg(II) are 20 and 10 ng L−1 (Hg), respectively. The method shows good linearity and the correlation coefficients are higher than 0.999. The average recoveries of MeHg and Hg(II) in tap or river water sample are 102.1-104.3% (R.S.D.: 7.0-8.9%) and 105.3-106.2% (R.S.D.: 7.4-8.5%), respectively. This simple, accurate, sensitive, and selective analytical method may be used in the determination of trace amounts of MeHg and Hg(II) in tap and river water samples.  相似文献

A new method, stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) with in situ derivatization and thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), which is used for the determination of trace amounts of chlorophenols, such as 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP), 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (2,4,6-TrCP), 2,3,4,6-tetrachlorophenol (2,3,4,6-TeCP) and pentachlorophenol (PCP), in tap water, river water and human urine samples, is described. The derivatization conditions with acetic acid anhydride and the SBSE conditions such as extraction time are investigated. Then, the stir bar is subjected to TD followed by GC-MS. The detection limits of the chlorophenols in tap water, river water and human urine samples are 1-2, 1-2, and 10-20 pg ml−1 (ppt), respectively. The calibration curves for the chlorophenols are linear and have correlation coefficients higher than 0.99. The average recoveries of the chlorophenols in all the samples are higher than 95% (R.S.D. < 10%) with correction using added surrogate standards, 2,4-dichlorophenol-d5, 2,4,6-trichlorophenol-13C6, 2,3,4,6-tetrachlorophenol-13C6 and pentachlorophenol-13C6. This simple, accurate, sensitive and selective analytical method may be applicable to the determination of trace amounts of chlorophenols in liquid samples.  相似文献

Triclocarban is an antimicrobial and antibacterial agent found in personal care products and subsequently is a prevalent wastewater contaminant. A quantitative method was developed for the analysis of triclocarban in wastewater effluents using stir bar sorptive extraction–liquid desorption (SBSE–LD) followed by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC–MS/MS) by means of an electrospray interface. A stir bar coated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is placed within a vial containing wastewater effluent and is stirred for an hour at room temperature. The PDMS stir bar is then placed in a LC vial containing methanol and is desorbed in a sonicator bath. The methanol is evaporated to dryness and reconstituted in 75% methanol. Spike and recovery experiments in groundwater that did not contain native concentrations of triclocarban were performed at 0.5 μg/L and were 93 ± 8%. Recoveries in wastewater effluent that were corrected for the background levels of triclocarban were 92 ± 2% and 96 ± 5%, respectively, when spiked with 0.5 and 5 μg/L of triclocarban. The precision of the method as indicated by the relative standard error was 2%. The limit of quantitation was 10 ng/L. The SBSE–LD–LC/MS/MS method was applied to wastewater effluent samples collected from northeast Ohio. Triclocarban was quantitated in all five effluent samples, and its concentration ranged from 50 to 330 ng/L. The described method demonstrates a simple, green, low-sample volume, yet, sensitive method to measure triclocarban in aqueous matrices.  相似文献

A simple and highly sensitive method called thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), which is used for the determination of trace amounts of 4-nonylphenol (NP) and 4-tert.-octylphenol (OP) in water samples, is described. NP and OP in samples are extracted from water samples and concentrated by the stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) technique. A stir bar coated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is added to a 2.0 ml water sample and stirring is carried out for 60 min at room temperature (25 °C) in a headspace vial. Then the extract is high sensitively analyzed by TD-GC-MS without any derivatization step. The optimum SBSE conditions are realized at an extraction time of 60 min. The detection limits are 0.02 ng ml−1 for NP and 0.002 ng ml−1 for OP. The method shows good linearity over the concentration range of 0.1-10 ng ml−1 for NP and 0.01-10 ng ml−1 for OP, and the correlation coefficients are higher than 0.999. The average recoveries of NP and OP are higher than 97% (R.S.D.: 3.6-6.2%) with correction using the added surrogate standards, 4-(1-methyl) octylphenol-d5 and deuterium 4-tert.-octylphenol. This simple, accurate, sensitive and selective analytical method may be used in the determination of trace amounts of NP and OP in tap and river water samples.  相似文献

The identification and quantification of semi-volatile contaminants dissolved in water is currently done in laboratory after a sampling step. This procedure is not satisfactory first because risks of samples contamination and analytes losses remain, in particular when these are present in ultra-trace concentrations, and secondly because procedures are time-consuming. The coupling of the stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE), a new device of extraction technique, and a new generation of gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS), the field apparatus EM 640 S from Bruker, could be an answer to the challenge of on-site analysis. This analytical system was used to analyze 24 PAHs, among them 15 EPA priority pollutants. It was shown that this coupling led to encouraging results with LODs around the sub-ppt level for most of the compounds and R.S.D. included between 1 and 48%. The existence of competition phenomena between the various analytes inside the absorbent phase was demonstrated with the release (up to 80%) of light compounds. This result shows the necessity to work on the kinetic domain rather than on the thermodynamic equilibrium that is influenced by nature and concentration of other compounds. The matrix effects were also studied through the comparative analysis of ultrapure water, artificial and natural seawaters spiked with PAHs and the influence of ionic strength and particulate organic matter was investigated.  相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶-硫化法,以甲基乙烯基硅橡胶和乙烯基封端硅橡胶为原料,制备了6种规格的搅拌棒,分别为2 cm(涂层3 mg、8 mg、13 mg)和1 cm、2 cm、3 cm(涂层皆8 mg)。以多环芳烃为目标分析物,考察了搅拌棒的萃取效率。结果表明,萃取条件不变,分子量小的多环芳烃,增加涂层厚度或体积,可提高萃取效率。分子量大的多环芳烃,要提高萃取效率,除具备一定的萃取体积,还要有足够的表面积。用长度1 cm(涂层3 mg、6 mg)、长度2 cm(涂层3 mg)、长度3 cm(涂层6 mg、13 mg)的搅拌棒,优化条件下,萃取5 min~30 min时,多环芳烃的检出限2 ng/L~140 ng/L,各组分峰面积的相对标准偏差小于12%。实际样品雨水的分析,发现了萘及苊的存在。  相似文献

In the present study, a stir bar coated with hydrophilic polymer based on poly(N-vinylpyrrolidone-co-divinylbenzene) was prepared for the sorptive extraction of polar compounds. The main parameters affecting the polymerisation of the coating were investigated.The new stir bar was applied successfully in stir bar sorptive extraction with liquid desorption followed by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry in tandem with a triple quadrupole for the determination of a group of polar pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) in environmental water matrices. Different variables affecting extraction and desorption such as agitation speed, temperature, ionic strength and extraction time were optimised. The results showed that the stir bar is able to enrich the selected analytes effectively.The developed method was applied to determine a group of PPCPs in different complex environmental samples, including river, effluent and influent waste water.  相似文献

Stir bar sorptive extraction with liquid desorption followed by large volume injection coupled to gas chromatography-quadrupole mass spectrometry (SBSE-LD/LVI-GC-qMS) was applied for the quantification of varietal and fermentative volatiles in sparkling wines. The analytical data were performed by using suitable standards of monoterpene hydrocarbons (α-pinene), monoterpenols (linalool), sesquiterpenoids (E,E-farnesol, Z-nerolidol, and guaiazulene), C13 norisoprenoids (β-ionone), aliphatic and aromatic alcohols (hexanol and 2-phenylethanol), and esters (hexyl acetate and ethyl decanoate) as model compounds. The wine volatiles were quantified using the structurally related standards. The methodology showed good linearity over the concentration range tested, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.950 to 0.997, and a reproducibility of 9-18%. The SBSE-LD/LVI-GC-qMS methodology allowed, in a single run, the quantification of 71 wine volatiles that can be quantified accurately at levels lower than their respective olfactory thresholds. This methodology was used for assessment of sparkling wine volatiles from different soils, ripening stages, and varieties. The variety and soil influenced significantly the volatile composition of sparkling wines; lower effect was observed for the ripening stage of grapes picked up one week before or after the maturity state.  相似文献

This study presents the development of an analytical method for determining 9 synthetic musks in water matrices. The developed method is based on stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE), coated with polydimethylsiloxane, and coupled with a thermal desorption–gas chromatography–mass spectrometry system (TD–GC–MS). SBSE can efficiently trap and desorb the analytes providing low limits of detection (between 0.02 ng L−1 and 0.3 ng L−1). Method validation showed good linearity, repeatability and reproducibility for all compounds. Furthermore, the limited manipulation of the sample required in this method implies a significant decrease of the risk of external contamination of the samples. The performance of the method in real samples was evaluated by analysing biological wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) influent and effluent samples, reverse osmosis treatment plant effluents and river waters. The most abundant musk was galaxolide with values up to 2069 ng L−1 and 1432 ng L−1 in the influent and effluent of urban WWTP samples, respectively. Cashmeran, Pantolide and Tonalide were also detected in all the matrices with values up to 94 ng L−1, 26 ng L−1 and 88 ng L−1, respectively. Although in Europe the use of nitromusks in cosmetics is prohibited, musk xylene and musk ketone were detected both in the WWTP and in the river samples. As far as we know, this is the first time than a SBSE method coupled with TD is applied for the determination of synthetic musks in water samples.  相似文献

A method for determining 68 pesticides in river water using stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE)-thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) is described. SBSE sampling was optimized for sample solution pH, salting-out and methanol addition. Although salting-out enhanced the ability of the method to extract most of the pesticides with low absolute recoveries, the absolute recoveries of four pesticides were not improved by salting-out. The detection limits of the method for the pesticides ranged from 0.2 to 20 ng/l. Analyte recoveries from a river water sample spiked with standards at 10 and 100 ng/l were 58.5–132.0% (RSD: 1.8–15.8%) and 61.0–121.3% (RSD: 1.4–20.2%), respectively.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive method for the determination of polar aromatic amines (PAAs) was developed using stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) coupling to high-performance liquid chromatography. A hydrophilic poly(vinylimidazole-divinylbenzene) (VIDB) monolithic material was prepared and acted as SBSE coating. The influences of polymerization conditions for VIDB on the extraction efficiency were investigated using aniline and 2,4-dinitroaniline as detected solutes. To achieve optimum extraction performance for PAAs, several parameters including extraction and desorption time, desorption solvent, ionic strength and pH value of sample matrix were investigated. The results showed that under the optimized experimental conditions, the method showed good sensitivity and excellent recoveries, as well as advantages such as linearity, simplicity, low cost and high feasibility. The extraction performance of present method to the target compounds also compared with commercial SBSE which using polydimethylsiloxane as coating and other SBSE which based on monolithic materials. Finally, the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of PAAs in lake and sea waters, and excellent recoveries of spiked target compounds in real samples were obtained.  相似文献

研究了检测苹果酒中挥发性物质的一种新方法—搅拌棒吸附萃取(简称SBSE)气质联用技术。对搅拌速度、搅拌时间、温度及加盐量对搅拌棒萃取效果的影响进行了研究。萃取条件为:10 mL苹果酒样加入3 g NaCl,于55℃下以1100 r/min的转速搅拌60 min。搅拌棒萃取出了苹果酒中80种挥发性物质,对其中的49种物质进行了定量。该方法具有良好的线性,所有标准曲线的线性相关系数均大于0.99。方法检出限为0.01~6.37μg/L,定量限为0.03~21.25μg/L,回收率在70.9%~111.4%之间,相对标准偏差均在10%以内。  相似文献
