Template condensation of 3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde S-methylisothiosemicarbazone with pentane-2,4-dione and triethyl orthoformate at elevated temperatures resulted in metal complexes of the type M(II)L, where M = Ni and Cu and H(2)L = a novel tetradentate ligand. These complexes are relevant to the active site of the copper enzymes galactose oxidase and glyoxal oxidase. Demetalation of Ni(II)L with gaseous hydrogen chloride in chloroform afforded the metal-free ligand H(2)L. Then by the reaction of H(2)L with Zn(CH(3)COO)(2)·2H(2)O in a 1:1 molar ratio in 1:2 chloroform/methanol, the complex Zn(II)L(CH(3)OH) was prepared. The three metal complexes and the prepared ligand were characterized by spectroscopic methods (IR, UV-vis, and NMR spectroscopy), X-ray crystallography, and DFT calculations. Electrochemically generated one-electron oxidized metal complexes [NiL](+), [CuL](+), and [ZnL(CH(3)OH)](+) and the metal-free ligand cation radical [H(2)L](+?) were studied by EPR/UV-vis-NIR and DFT calculations. These studies demonstrated the interaction between the metal ion and the phenoxyl radical.  相似文献

A new potentially octadentate N2O6 Schiff base ligand, H2L derived from the condensation of 2,2′-(1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-diylbis(oxy))dianiline and o-vanillin, along with its copper(II) and zinc(II) complexes, is synthesized and has been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV–vis, 1H and 13C NMR spectra, as well as conductivity measurements. H2L forms mononuclear complexes of 1:1 (metal:ligand) stoichiometry with Cu(II) and Zn(II), and conductivity data confirm the non-electrolyte nature of these complexes. The [ZnL] and [CuL] complexes display very different solid-state structures, as determined by X-ray crystallography. While the [ZnL] complex has a distorted octahedral geometry about the metal, the [CuL] complex displays a distorted square planar geometry about the copper, with long Cu–O(ether) distances of 2.667 Å.  相似文献

Summary The reaction of warm alcoholic solutions of acetates of CoII, MnII, ZnII and NiII with 2, 6-diacetylpyridine andS-methylisothiosemicarbazide hydrogen iodide yielded the complexes: [Co(H2L)I2]·H2O, [Mn(H2L)(MeOH)2]I2, [Zn(H2L)(MeOH)I]I and [Ni(HL)]I, (H2L=the pentadentate pentaaza-ligand 2, 6-diacetylpyridine bis(S-methylisothiosemicarbazone)). The reaction of methanolic solutions of [Ni(HL)]I and NH4NCS or LiOAc.2H2O, give [Ni(HL)]NCS and NiL, respectively. For the complexes of CoII, MnII and ZnII, a pentagonal bipyramidal configuration is proposed, with H2L in the equatorial plane and two unidentate ligands (I and/or MeOH) in the axial positions. The complexes [Ni(HL)]X (X=I or NCS) and NiL probably have monomeric five- and dimeric six-coordinate structures, respectively, in which only the chelate ligand is involved in coordination.  相似文献

The complex [Ni{2-PyNHC(S)NP(S)(OiPr)(2)-1,5,7-N,N',S}(2)] ([NiL(I)(2)]) dissolved in tri-n-octylphosphine (TOP) is decomposed in hot hexadecylamine (HDA) to give TOP-capped Ni nanoparticles. The same procedure using [Ni{2-MeC(6)H(4)NHC(S)NP(S)(OiPr)(2)}(2)-1,3-N,S] ([NiL(II)(2)]) and [Ni{PhC(S)NP(S)(OiPr)(2)-1,5-S,S'}(2)] ([NiL(III)(2)]) leads to the formation of NiS nanoparticles with the rhombohedral and hexagonal structures, respectively. NiH(x) nanoparticles were also produced from a mixture of [NiL(I)(2)] and N(2)H(4). The obtained Ni nanoparticles can be used for the catalytic addition of Ph(2)S(2) to 1-, 2- and 3-hexynes.  相似文献

Sulfur-rich nickel metalloenzymes are capable of stabilizing Ni(I) and Ni(III) oxidation states in catalytically relevant species. In an effort to better understand the structural and electronic features that allow the stabilization of such species, we have investigated the electrochemical properties of two mononuclear N(2)S(2) Ni(II) complexes that differ in their sulfur environment. Complex 1 features aliphatic dithiolate coordination ([NiL], 1), and complex 2I is characterized by mixed thiolate/thioether coordination ([NiL(Me)]I, 2I). The latter results from the methylation of a single sulfur of 1. The X-ray structure of 2I reveals a distorted square planar geometry around the Ni(II) ion, similar to what was previously reported by us for 1. The electrochemical investigation of 1 and 2(+) shows that the addition of a methyl group shifts the potentials of both redox Ni(II)/Ni(I) and Ni(III)/Ni(II) redox couples by about 0.7 and 0.6 V to more positive values. Through bulk electrolyses, only the mononuclear dithiolate [Ni(I)L](-) (1(-)) and the mixed thiolate/thioether [Ni(III)L(Me)](2+) (2(2+)) complexes were generated, and their electronic properties were investigated by UV-vis and EPR spectroscopy. For 1(-) (Ni(I), d(9) configuration) the EPR data are consistent with a d(x(2))(-)(y(2)) based singly occupied molecular orbitals (SOMOs). However, DFT calculations suggest that there is also pronounced radical character. This is consistent with the small g-anisotropy observed in the EPR experiments. The spin population (Mulliken analysis) analysis of 1(-) reveals that the main contribution to the SOMO (64%) is due to the bipyridine unit. Time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations attribute the most prominent features observed in the electronic absorption spectrum of 1(-) to metal to ligand charge transfer (MLCT) transitions. Concerning 2(2+), the EPR spectrum displays a rhombic signal with g(x) = 2.236, g(y) = 2.180, and g(z) = 2.039 in CH(3)CN. The g(iso) value is larger than 2.0, which is consistent with metal based oxidation. The unpaired electron (Ni(III), d(7) configuration) occupies a Ni-d(z(2)) based molecular orbital, consistent with DFT calculations. Nitrogen hyperfine structure is observed as a triplet in the g(z) component of the EPR spectrum with A(N) = 51 MHz. This result indicates the coordination of a CH(3)CN molecule in the axial position. DFT calculations confirm that the presence of a fifth ligand in the coordination sphere of the Ni ion is required for the metal-based oxidation process. Finally, we have shown that 1 exhibits catalytic reductive dehalogenation activity below potentials of -2.00 V versus Fc/Fc(+) in CH(2)Cl(2).  相似文献

To elucidate intrinsic recognition of carboxamides by zinc(II) in carbonic anhydrase (CA) (as inhibitors) and carboxypeptidase A (CPA) (as substrates), a new series of Zn(2+)-carboxamide-appended cyclen complexes have been synthesized and characterized (cyclen = 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane). Two types of Zn(2+)-carboxamide interactions have been found. In the first case represented by a zinc(II) complex of carbamoylmethyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane (L(1)), the amide oxygen binds to zinc(II) at slightly acidic pH (to form ZnL(1)), and the deprotonated amide N(-) binds to zinc(II) at alkaline pH (to form ZnH(-1)L(1)) with pK(a) = 8.59 at 25 degrees C and I = 0.1 (NaNO(3)), as determined by potentiometric pH titrations, infrared spectral changes, and (13)C and (1)H NMR titrations. The X-ray crystal structure of ZnH(-1)L(3) (where L(3) = N-(4-nitrophenyl)carbamoylmethyl cyclen, pK(a) = 7.01 for ZnL(3) <==> ZnH(-1)L(3)) proved that the zinc(II) binds to the amidate N(-) (Zn-N(-) distance of 1.974(3) A) along with the four nitrogen atoms of cyclen (average Zn-N distance 2.136 A). Crystal data: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n (No. 14) with a = 10.838(1) A, b = 17.210(2) A, c = 12.113(2) A, b = 107.38(1) degrees, V = 2156.2(5) A(3), Z = 4, R = 0.042, and R(w) = 0.038. These model studies provide the first chemical support that carboxamides are CA(-) inhibitors by occupying the active Zn(2+) site both in acidic and alkaline pH to prevent the occurrence of the catalytically active Zn(2+)-OH(-) species. In the second case represented by a zinc(II) complex of 1-(N-acetyl)aminoethylcyclen, ZnL(6), the pendant amide oxygen had little interaction with zinc(II) at acidic pH. At alkaline pH, the monodeprotonation yielded a zinc(II)-bound hydroxide species ZnL(6)(OH(-)) (pK(a) = 7.64) with the amide pendant remaining intact. The ZnL(6)(OH(-)) species showed the same nucleophilic activity as Zn(2+)-cyclen-OH(-). The second case may mimic the Zn(2+)-OH(-) mechanism of CPA, where the nucleophilic Zn(2+)-OH(-) species does not act as a base to deprotonate a proximate amide.  相似文献

Four new supramolecular compounds of Cu(II)-Ni(II) have been synthesized and characterized: [Cu(Me(2)oxpn)Ni(mu-NCS)(H(2)O)(tmen)](2)(ClO(4))(2) (1), [Cu(Me(2)oxpn)Ni(mu-NCS)(H(2)O)(tmen)](2)(PF(6))(2) (2), [Cu(oxpn)Ni(mu-NCS)(NCS) (tmen)](n) (3), and [Cu(Me(2)oxpn)Ni(mu-NCS)(NCS)(tmen)](n) (4), where oxpn = N,N'-bis(3-aminopropyl)oxamidate, Me(2)oxpn = N,N'-bis(3-amino-2,2'-dimethylpropyl)oxamidate, and tmen = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine. Their crystal structures were solved. Complexes 1 and 2 have the same tetranuclear cationic part but a different counteranion. The cationic part consists of two [Cu(Me(2)oxpn)Ni] moieties linked by SCN(-) bridged ligands and intra-tetranuclear hydrogen bonds. In the case of complex 3, a two-dimensional system was built, the thiocyanate ligand linking the dinuclear units gives a chain, and the chains are linked together by hydrogen bonds; intrachain hydrogen bonds are also present. For complex 4, the thiocyanate ligands produce intermolecular linkages between the dinuclear entities, giving a one-dimensional system; intrachain hydrogen bonds are also present. The magnetic properties of the four complexes were studied by susceptibility measurements vs temperature. DFT calculations were made to study the contribution of the SCN(-) and hydrogen bond bridges in the magnetic coupling.  相似文献

The synthesis of the macrocyclic ligand 4,4'-(2,5,8,11,14-pentaaza[15])-2,2'-bipyridylophane (L3), which contains a pentaamine chain linking the 4,4'-positions of a 2,2'-dipyridine moiety, is reported. Protonation and Zn(II) complexation by L3 and by macrocycle L2, containing the same pentaamine chain connecting the 6,6'-positions of 2,2'-dipyridine, were studied by means of potentiometric, UV-vis, and fluorescent emission measurements. While in L2 all the nitrogen donor atoms are convergent inside the macrocyclic cavity, in L3 the heteroaromatic nitrogen atoms are located outside. Both ligands form mono- and dinuclear Zn(II) complexes in aqueous solution. In the mononuclear Zn(II) complexes with L2, the metal is coordinated inside the macrocyclic cavity, bound to the heteroaromatic nitrogen donors and three amine groups of the aliphatic chain. As shown by the crystal structure of the [ZnL2](2+) complex, the two benzylic nitrogens are not coordinated and facile protonation of the complex takes place at slightly acidic pH values. Considering the mononuclear [ZnL3](2+) complex, the metal is encapsulated inside the cavity, not coordinated by the dipyridine unit. Protonation of the complex occurs on the aliphatic polyamine chain and gives rise to translocation of the metal outside the cavity, bound to the heteroaromatic nitrogens.  相似文献

The complex Ni(II)(1,8,-di-2-propenyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)(2+), (NiL(1))(2+), was synthesized. X-ray crystallography demonstrates that the complex obtained is the trans-III isomer. The allylic substituents shift the redox couples (NiL(1))(3+/2+) and (NiL(1))(2+/+) anodically relative to the corresponding couples for Ni(II)(1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)(2+), (NiL(2))(2+), as expected. Surprisingly, the lifetime of (NiL(1))(+) in neutral aqueous solutions is shorter than that of (NiL(2))(+). Pulse radiolysis experiments reveal that the allylic substituents are reduced by the central Ni(I) ion. The first step in this reduction is a general acid catalyzed process. The results suggest that this step involves schematically the reaction Ni(I)[bond]NCH(2)CH[double bond]CH(2)(+) + H(+) --> Ni(III)[bond]NCH2CH2CH(2)(2+). The latter transient decomposes slowly with a half-life time of several minutes. Preliminary results support the suggestion that (NiL(2))(+), or other Ni(I)L complexes of this family, might reduce many alkenes present in the solution.  相似文献

To understand the coordination chemistry of zinc-binding groups (ZBGs) with catalytic zinc centers in matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and disintegrin metalloproteases (ADAMs), we have undertaken a model compound study centered around tris(3,5-methylphenypyrazolyl)hydroboratozinc(II) hydroxide and aqua complexes ([Tp(Ph,Me)ZnOH] and [Tp(Ph,Me)Zn(OH2)]+, respectively, wherein (Tp(Ph,Me))- = hydrotris(3,5-methylphenylpyrazolyl)borate) and the products of their reactions with a class of chelating Schiff's base ligands. The results show that the protic ligands, HL (HL = N-propyl-1-(5-methyl-2-imidazolyl)methanimine (5-Me-4-ImHPr), N-propyl-1-(4-imidazolyl)methanimine (4-ImHPr), and N-propyl-1-(2-imidazolyl)methanimine (2-ImHPr)), react with [Tp(Ph,Me)ZnOH] and give products with the general formula [Tp(Ph,Me)ZnL], whereas reactions with neutral aprotic ligands, L' (L' = N-propyl-1-(1-methyl-2-imidazolyl)methanimine (1-Me-2-ImPr) and N-propyl-1-(2-thiazolyl)methanimine (2-TaPr)), yield the corresponding [Tp(Ph,Me)ZnL]+ complexes. Although the phenol group of N-propyl-1-(2-hydroxyphenyl)methanimine (2-HOPhPr) is protic, this ligand forms a cationic four-coordinate complex containing an intraligand hydrogen bond. The solid-state structures of these complexes were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and the results showed that the protic ligands form five-membered chelates of the Zn2+ ion. All ligands displace the aqua ligand in [Tp(Ph,Me)Zn(OH2)]+ to yield complexes having 1H NMR spectra consistent with the formation of five membered chelates. The 1H resonance frequencies of the chelating ligands typically shift upfield upon coordination to the zinc center, due to ring current effects from the pendant phenyl groups of the (Tp(Ph,Me))- ligand. Thus, the 1H NMR spectra provide a convenient and sensitive means of tracking the solution reactions by titration. The resulting series of spectra showed that the stabilities of the chelates in solution depend on the propensity of the ligands to deprotonate upon chelation of the zinc center. The behaviors of these bidentate ZBGs provide insight into the structural and electronic factors that contribute to the stabilities of inhibited MMPs and ADAMs and suggest that the proton acidity of the coordinated ZBG may be a crucial criterion for inhibitor design.  相似文献

The molecular structure of the tris(2-mercapto-1-tolylimidazolyl)hydroborato complex [[Tm(p-Tol)]Zn(mim(p-Tol))][ClO(4)].3MeCN has been determined by X-ray diffraction, thereby demonstrating that the mim(p-Tol) ligand exhibits a N-H...O hydrogen bond with the [ClO(4)](-) counterion, [[Tm(p-Tol)]Zn(mim(p-Tol))...(OClO(3))], rather than hydrogen bond with a sulfur of the [Tm(p-Tol)] ligand. DFT calculations on a series of related complexes, namely [[Tm(Me)]Zn(mim(Me))](+), [[Tm(Me)]Zn(mim(Me))]...(OClO(3))], [[Tm(Me)]Zn(mim(Me))]...[O(H)Me]](+), and [[Tm(Me)]Zn(mim(Me))]...(NCMe)](+) demonstrate that an intramolecular N-H...S hydrogen bond within [[Tm(Me)]Zn(mim(Me))](+) is also less favored than the corresponding hydrogen bonding interactions with MeCN, MeOH, and [ClO(4)](-). The inability of the sulfur atoms of [Tm(R)] ligand to act as an effective hydrogen bond acceptor is in marked contrast to the ability of sulfur atoms in thiolate ligands to participate in the formation of N-H...S hydrogen bonds, an observation that reflects the "thione"versus"thiolate" nature of the [Tm(R)] ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of Zn(ClO4)2·6H2O with 3,3'-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)-2,2'-dipyridine (L) gave a mononuclear zinc(II) complex: [ZnL2](ClO4)2·2DMF·4H2O, which was structurally characterized by EA, IR, UV, 1H NMR, fluorescence spectrum and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal (C54H54Cl2N14O14Zn, Mr = 1259.38) belongs to the monoclinic system, space group C2/c with a = 20.874(2), b = 14.9953(16), c = 20.462(3) , β = 101.553(2)°, V = 6274.8(13) 3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.333 g/cm3, F (000) = 2608, μ(MoKα) = 0.548 mm–1, R = 0.0682 and wR = 0.1931 for 4984 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The Zn(II) is four-coordinated in a slightly distorted tetrahedral geometry through four N atoms from four benzimidazole units of two ligands. In the crystal lattice, the [ZnL2]2+ cations are linked to each other by extensive intermolecular hydrogen bonds between nitrogen atoms of benzimidazole rings, water and DMF molecules.  相似文献

A complexation study on the new Zn(II) complexes of asymmetric tripodal ligand 2-[bis(2-aminoethyl)amino]ethanol (L) has revealed that the alcoholic OH group of complex ZnL exhibits remarkable acidity with a very low pK(a) value of 7.7 at 25 degrees C. Both the monomeric complex [ZnH(-0.25)L(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(1.75) (I) and the dimeric alkoxide-coordinating complex [Zn(2)(H(-1)L)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (II) were synthesized, and their structures were determined by X-ray diffraction. The Zn(II)-bound alkoxide, as the reactive nucleophile toward the hydrolysis of esters, has shown a second-order rate constant of 0.13 +/- 0.01 M(-1) s(-1) in 10% (v/v) CH(3)CN at 25 degrees C in 4-nitrophenyl acetate (NA) hydrolysis, which is almost the same as the corresponding value for the very reactive alcohol-dependent [12]aneN(3)-Zn complex. Present work shows for the first time that Zn(II) complexes of the asymmetric tripodal polyamine bearing an ethoxyl pod can also serve as good models of Zn(II)-containing enzymes.  相似文献

A series of nickel(II) complexes with polydentate aminopyridine ligands N,N,N'-tris-[2-(2'-pyridyl)ethyl]ethane-1,2-diamine (L1), N,N,N'-tris-[2-(2'-pyridyl)ethyl]-N'-methylethane-1,2-diamine (L2), and N,N'-bis-[2-(2'-pyridyl)ethyl]-N,N'-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine (L3) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies showed that the Ni(II) ions have five-coordinate square-pyramidal geometry in [NiL2](ClO(4))(2), similar to that previously found in [NiL1](ClO(4))(2) x CH(3)NO(2) (Hoskins, B. F.; Whillans, F. D.J. Chem. Soc., Dalton Trans. 1975, 657), and square-planar geometry in [NiL3](ClO(4))(2). All three nickel(II) complexes are reduced by sodium borohydride or sodium amalgam in organic solvents to nickel(I) species, which were identified by highly anisotropic EPR spectra at 100 K: g(1) = 2.239, g(2) = 2.199, and g(3) = 2.025 for [NiL1](+); g(axially) = 2.324 and g(radially) = 2.079 for [NiL2](+) and [NiL3](+). Cyclic voltammetry of the nickel(II) complexes in acetonitrile exhibited reversible reduction waves at -1.01 V for [NiL1](2+), -0.91 V for [NiL2](2+), and -0.83 V for [NiL3](2+) versus SCE, potentials which are significantly less negative than those of most previously characterized Ni(II) complexes with nitrogen-only donor atoms. Complexes [NiL1](2+) and [NiL2](2+) showed high catalytic activity in the electroreduction of 1,2-trans-dibromocyclohexane to cyclohexene.  相似文献

A new synthetic pathway was reported to obtain N6 donor ligand 2,9-bis-(2',5'-diazahexanyl)-1,10-phenanthroline (L1) and its coordination compounds of essential divalent metal ions Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn. Complete characterization of all compounds was done with the conventional techniques. Crystal structures of [NiL1](PF(6))(2) and [ZnL1](PF(6))(2)·H(2)O were also reported. Electrochemical studies have shown an active participation of the aromatic moiety of the ligand in redox reactions. The in vitro tests of the cytotoxic activity against human tumour cell lines HeLa (cervix) and CHP-212 (neuroblastoma) showed that all coordination compounds that involve redox active metal ions exhibit noteworthy antiproliferative activity, superior in all cases to cisplatin. [CuL1](2+) showed the lower IC(50) value in the HeLa cell line with 1.84 μM, meanwhile, [CoL1](2+) showed the lower value in neuroblastoma CHP-212 with IC(50) = 45.28 μM. None of these compounds were active against the SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cell line. In Entamoeba histolytica cultures, remarkable nanomolar IC(50) values were found for [NiL1](2+) and [MnL1](2+) with 60 nM and 80 nM respectively, improving the antiproliferative activity more than 1000 times compared with the first choice drug for clinical treatments of human amoebiasis, metronidazole. On the other hand, a free ligand does not show antiproliferative activity either on human tumor cell lines or on Entamoeba histolytica trophozoites, highlighting the role played by metal ions to produce cytotoxicity in tumor cells and protozoa systems.  相似文献

Treatment of a thiolato-bridged Ru(II)Ag(I)Ru(II) trinuclear complex, [Ag{Ru(aet)(bpy)(2)}(2)](3+) (aet = 2-aminoethanthiolate; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine), with NaI in aqueous ethanol under an aerobic condition afforded a mononuclear ruthenium(II) complex having an S-bonded sulfinato group, [1](+) ([Ru(aesi-N, S)(bpy)(2)](+) (aesi = 2-aminoethanesulfinate)). Similar treatment of optically active isomers of an analogous Ru(II)Ag(I)Ru(II) trinuclear complex, Δ(D)Δ(D)- and Λ(D)Λ(D)-[Ag{Ru(d-Hpen-O,S)(bpy)(2)}(2)](3+) (d-pen = d-penicillaminate), with NaI also produced mononuclear ruthenium(II) isomers with an S-bonded sulfinato group, Δ(D)- and Λ(D)-[2](+) ([Ru(d-Hpsi-O,S)(bpy)(2)](+) (d-psi = d-penicillaminesulfinate)), respectively, retaining the bidentate-O,S coordination mode of a d-Hpen ligand and the absolute configuration (Δ or Λ) about a Ru(II) center. On refluxing in water, the Δ(D) isomer of [2](+) underwent a linkage isomerization to form Δ(D)-[3] (+) ([Ru(d-Hpsi-N,S)(bpy)(2)](+)), in which a d-Hpsi ligand coordinates to a Ru(II) center in a bidentate-N,S mode. Complexes [1](+), Δ(D)- and Λ(D)-[2](+), and Δ(D)-[3](+) were fully characterized by electronic absorption, CD, NMR, and IR spectroscopies, together with single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The electrochemical properties of these complexes, which are highly dependent on the coordination mode of sulfinate ligands, are also described.  相似文献

The reactions of Zn(OAc)(2) with acetoacetanilide, methyl acetoacetate, o-acetoacetanisidide, and ethyl 2-methylacetoacetate thiosemicarbazones (HTSC(1), HTSC(2), HTSC(3), and HTSC(4), respectively) were explored in methanol. With HTSC(1), HTSC(2), and HTSC(3), following isolation of the corresponding zinc(II) thiosemicarbazonates [Zn(TSC(x))(2)] (x = 1, 2, 3), the mother liquors afforded pyrazolonate complexes [ZnL(1)(2)(H(2)O)] (HL(1) = 2,5-dihydro-3-methyl-5-oxo-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamide) that had been formed by cyclization of the corresponding TSC(-). The reaction of HTSC(4) with zinc(II) acetate gave only the pyrazolonate complex [ZnL(2)(2)(H(2)O)] (HL(2) = 2,5-dihydro-3,4-dimethyl-5-oxo-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamide). All compounds were studied by IR and NMR spectroscopy, and HTSC(3), [Zn(TSC(3))(2)] x DMSO, [ZnL(1)(2)(H(2)O)] x 2DMSO, and [ZnL(2)(2)(H(2)O)] x 2DMSO were also studied by X-ray diffractometry, giving a thorough picture of the cyclization process. In preliminary tests of the effects of HL(1) and [ZnL(1)(2)(H(2)O)] on rat paw inflammatory edema induced by carrageenan, HL(1) showed antiinflammatory activity.  相似文献

The title ligand, 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane-1,4-diyl-bis(methylphosphonic acid) (H4te2p1,4, H4L), was prepared by an optimized synthetic approach and its complexing properties towards selected metal ions were studied by means of potentiometry. The ligand forms a very stable complex with copper(II) (log beta(CuL) = 27.21), with a high selectivity over binding of other metal ions (e.g. log beta(ZnL) = 20.16, log beta(NiL) = 21.92). The crystal structures of two intermediates in the ligand synthesis and two forms of the nickel(II) complex (obtained by crystallization at different pH) were determined. From acid solution, the crystals of trans-O,O-[Ni(H3L)]Cl.H2O were isolated. In such complex species, one phosphonate pendant arm is double- and the second arm is monoprotonated. The isolation of such species demonstrates a high kinetic inertness of the complex. The central metal ion is surrounded by four in-plane nitrogen atoms (in the ring configuration III) and two oxygen atoms of pendant moieties in the apical positions of octahedral coordination sphere. From neutral solution, the crystals of (trans-O,O-[Ni(H2L)])3.5H2O were isolated. The molecular structures of the complex units found in this structure are analogous to that found in trans-O,O-[Ni(H3L)]Cl.H2O.  相似文献
