The metastable ion supported fragmentation process in the mass spectra of the cyclohexadienyl derivative C6H7Mn(CO)3, the cycloheptadienyl derivative C7H9Mn(CO)3, the 1,2,3,4,5-and 1,2,3,5,6-pentahaptocyclootadienyl derivatives C8H11Mn(CO)3, the cyclooctatrienyl derivative C8H9Mn(CO)3 and the substituted cyclopentadienyl derivative (CH3)2NCH2C5H4Mn(CO)3, are described. Losses of carbonyl groups, generally stepwise, from the molecular ions to give the corresponding [M – 3CO]+· ions are first observed. Further fragmentation of the carbonyl-free [M – 3CO]+· ions can involve a variety of processes such as the following: (a) elimination of a neutral manganese atom to give a hydrocarbon fragment; (b) elimination of a neutral hydrocarbon fragment to give an [MnH]+· ion; (c) dehydrogenation; (d) elimination of a 2-carbon C2H2 or C2H4 fragment; (e) elimination of a C3H4 or C3H6 fragment as a neutral species when it is bridging two carbon atoms bonded to manganese, as in C8H9Mn(CO)3 and 1,2,3,4,5,h5-C8H11Mn(CO)3, respectively. Fragmentation of the [M – 3CO]+· ion in (CH3)2NCH2C5H4Mn(CO)3 presents the following additional features: (a) elimination of C6H6 with a nitrogen shift from carbon to manganese; (b) elimination of a neutral dimethylamino fragment to give [C6H6Mn]+·, which then loses neutral C6H6, C6H5 or Mn fragments and thus is formulated tentatively as [(fulvene)Mn]+· or [C6H5MnH]+· rather than [(benzene)Mn]+·.  相似文献

Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands. CXVII [1] Addition of the O'Donnell Reagent [Ph2C=NCHCO2Me] to Coordinated, Unsaturated Hydrocarbons of [(C6H7)Fe(CO)3]+, [C7H9Fe(CO)3]+, [(C7H7)M(CO)3]+ (M = Cr, Mo), and [(C2H4)Re(CO)5]+. α-Amino Acids with Organometallic Side Chains The addition of [Ph2C=NCHCO2Me] to [(C6H7)Fe(CO)3]+, [(C7H9)Fe(CO)3]+, [(C7H7)M(CO)3]+ (M = Cr, Mo) and [(C2H4)Re(CO)5]+ gives derivatives of α-amino acids with organometallic side chains. The structure of [(η4-C6H7)CH(N=CPh2)CO2Me]Fe(CO)3 was determined by X-ray diffraction. From the adduct of [Ph2C=NCHCO2Me] and [(C7H7)Mo(CO)3]+ the Schiff base of a new unnatural α-amino acid, Ph2C=NCH(C7H7)CO2Me, was obtained.  相似文献

The syntheses of the homoleptic bis(arene) niobium cations [Nb(arene)2]+ (arene = C6H3Me3, C6H5Me) with 16 valence electrons and heteroleptic arene-carbonyl cations [(CO)Nb(arene)2]+ (arene = C6H3Me3, C6H5Me) and [(arene)M(CO)4]+ (arene = C6H3Me3, C6H6) obeying 18 valence electrons are described. Stabilization of these complexes was achieved by using the weakly coordinating anions [Al(ORF)4] or [F{Al(ORF)3}2] (RF = C(CF3)3). The limits of two synthesis routes starting from neutral Nb(arene)2 (arene = C6H3Me3, C6H5Me) or [NEt4][M(CO)6] (M = Nb, Ta) were investigated. All compounds were analyzed by single crystal X-ray determination, vibrational and NMR spectroscopy. DFT calculations were executed to support the experimental data.  相似文献

Trimethylamine‐tris(pentafluoroethyl)borane [(C2F5)3BNMe3] ( 1 ) reacts at 190 °C with water under displacement of the trimethylamine ligand to yield the hydroxy‐tris(pentafluoroethyl)borate [(C2F5)3BOH]? ( 2 ). In tributylamine 1 reacts with alkynes HC≡CR to form novel ethynyl‐tris(pentafluoroethyl)borate anions [(C2F5)3BC≡CR]? – R = C6H5 ( 3 ), C6H4CH3 ( 4 ), Si(CH(CH3)2)3 ( 5 ) – in moderate yields. Compound 3 adds water across the triple bond to form the novel anion [(C2F5)3BCH2(CO)C6H5]? ( 6 ). The structures of [(C2F5)3BNMe3], [NMe4][(C2F5)3BOH] and K[(C2F5)3BCH2(CO)C6H5] have been determined by x‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Perfluoronorbornadiene reacts with the compounds [M(PPh3)4] (M = Pt, Pd) and [IrCl(CO)(PMePh2)2] to give the adducts [(C7F8)M(PPh3)2] and [(C7F8)IrCl(CO)(PMePh2)2] in which one of the double bonds is coordinated to the metal atom. The platinum complex reacts further with [Pt(PPh3)4] to give [(C7F8){Pt(PPh3)2}2] having both double bonds coordinated to a Pt atom. The carbonylmetal anions [M?] react to form the mono-substitution products [(C7F7)M] (M = Mn(CO)5, Re(CO)5, Ir(CO)2(PPh3)2, Rh(CO)2(PPh3)2), but the use of an excess of [Fe(CO)2(η-C5H6)]? leads to substitution of one fluorine atom on each of the double bonds. The complex having M = Mn(CO)5 reacts with [Pt(PPh3)4] to afford the derivative [(C7F7){Mn(CO)4(PPh3)}{Pt(PPh3)2}], and the compound where M = Ir(CO)2(PPh3)2 undergoes an oxidative addition reaction with acetyl chloride. Oxidative coupling products have been isolated on UV irradiation of a mixture of perfluoronorbornadiene and [Fe(η4-CH2CRCHCH2)(CO)3] (R = H, Me), and under similar conditions the reaction with Fe(CO)5 affords [(C7F8)Fe(CO)4] in very low yield.  相似文献

The synthesis of electron‐poor PCP pincer ligands 1,3‐((C6F5)2PO)2C6H4, 1,3‐((C6F5)2PCH2)2C6H4, and 1‐((C6F5)2PO)‐3‐(tBu2PCH2)C6H4, and their coordination chemistry to platinum and palladium is described. The most electron‐poor ligand 1,3‐((C6F5)2PO)2C6H4 (POCOPH) reacts with Group 10 metal chloride precursors to form a range of unusual cis, trans‐dimers of the type κ2‐P,P‐[(POCOPH)MCl(L)]2 (M=Pt, Pd; L=Cl, Me), which undergo metallation to form [(POCOP)MCl] pincer complexes only under prolonged thermolysis. The formation of such cis, trans‐dimers during pincer complex formation can be mitigated through the use of starting materials with more strongly binding ancillary ligands, improving the overall rate of ligand metallation. Carbonyl complexes of the type [(PCP)M(CO)]+ were synthesised from the pincer chloride complexes by halide abstraction, and displayed large ν(C?O) values, from 2170–2111 cm?1, confirming the electron‐poor nature of the compounds. The [(PCP)Pd(CO)]+ complexes also demonstrated the ability to reversibly bind carbon monoxide both in solution and the solid state, with the rate of decarbonylation increasing with increasing wavenumber for the C?O stretch.  相似文献

Aluminum phenylselenolate and 1-naphthylselenolat react with TiCl4, ZrCl4, NbCl5, TaCl5, WCl6 and CrCl3 · 3THF giving compounds of types M(SeR)4 (M = Ti, Zr, W; R = C6H5, C10H7) and M(SeR)3 (M = Nb, Ta, Cr; R = C6H5, C10H7). By reaction of nickel(II), cobalt(II) and cobalt(III) acetylacetonates with thiophenol, selenophenol and 1-selenonaphthol polymeric compounds of composition Ni(XR)2, Co(XR)n (X = S, Se; R = C6H5, C10H7; n = 2 or 3) and Co(SC6H5)2 · C6H5SH are obtained. [(n-C4H9)3P]2NiCl2 and selenophenol in the presence of triethylamine give the monomeric compound [(n-C4H9)3P]2Ni(SeC6H5)2.  相似文献

1,2,3,4,7,7-Hexafluorobicyclo[2.2.1]heptadiene (1) and 2,3-bis(trimethyltin)-1,4,5,6,7,7-hexafluorobicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene (2) react with [M(Ph3P)4] (M = Pt, Pd) to afford air-stable adducts. 2,3-Dichloro-1,4,5,6,7,7-hexafluorobicyclo[2.2.1]hepta-2,5-diene (3) gives only [PtCl2(PPh3)2] with [Pt(Ph3P)4], but a low yield of an adduct was obtained with [Pd(PPh3)4]. The diene 1 also reacts with Fe(CO)5 to form the complex [(C7H2F6)Fe(CO)4], and with [Rh(C2H4)2(acac)] to give [(C7H2F6)Rh(acac)] in which the diene acts as a bidentate ligand. Similar products could not be isolated from the reactions of 2 and 3. A stable adduct, believed to be [{C7F6(SnMe3)2}Rh(CO)2(μ-Cl)2Rh(CO)2] has been isolated from the reaction between 2 and [Rh(CO)2Cl]2. This adduct reacts with PPh3 to give the bridge-cleavage product [{C7F6(SnMe3)2}RhCl(CO)(PPh3)2]. Reaction of 1 with [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 gives an unstable adduct which could not be isolated, and 2 does not react at room temperature. The chloro derivative 3 reacts with [PdCl2(PhCN)2] to give the adduct [(C7F6Cl2)PdCl(PhCN)], but 1 and 2 do not react under similar conditions. Stable substitution products [(C7F6R2)M] (R = H, M = Fe(CO)2(η-C5H5); R = SnMe3, M = Fe(CO)2(η-C5H5), Mn(CO)5, Ir(CO)2(PPh3)2, Rh(CO)2(PPh3)2; R = Cl, M = Ir(CO)2(PPh3)2, Rh(CO)2(PPh3)2) have been isolated from the reactions of the dienes with carbonylmetal anions. Insertion of the CHCH bond occurs when 1 is heated with [MnMe(CO)5] to give [{C7F6H2C(O)Me}Mn(CO)4], and this, on reaction with either PPh3 or [Pt(PPh3)4], gives [(C7F6H2COMe)Mn(CO)4PPh3].  相似文献

Syntheses and Properties of Pentafluoroethylcopper(I) and ‐copper(III) Compounds: CuC2F5 · D, [Cu(C2F5)2], and (C2F5)2CuSC(S)N(C2H5)2 The reactions of Cd(C2F5)2 · D and Zn(C2F5)2 · D (D = 2 CH3CN, 2 DMF), respectively, with copper(I) halides in the presence of halides quantitatively yield the CuC2F5 compounds CuC2F5 · D and [Cu(C2F5)2]. The CuC2F5 complexes are identified by NMR spectroscopy, while [Cu(C2F5)2] is isolated as PNP salt (PNP = (C6H5)3PNP(C6H5)3+). Both compounds are excellent C2F5 group transfer reagents, even at low temperature. Oxidation of [Cu(C2F5)2] with [(C2H5)2NC(S)S]2 yields the crystalline Cu(III) compound (C2F5)2CuSC(S)N(C2H5)2 (monoclinic, C2/c).  相似文献

Crystal Structures of [(C6H5)4P]3[MoO(CN)5] · 7 H2O (green), [(C6H5)4As]2[MoO(OH2)(CN)4] · 4 H2O (blue), and [(C6H5)4P]2[MoO(OH2) (CN)4] · 4 H2O (green) Preparation of a series of salts containing the new pentacyano-oxo-molybdate(IV) anion is described: Cs2H[MoO(CN)5] (blue), [(CH3)4N]2H[MoO(CN)5] · 2 H2O (blue) and [Cr(en)3] [MoO(CN)5] · 4 H2O (green). The green [(C6H5)4P]3[MoO(CN)5] · 7 H2O crystallizes triclinic in the space group P1 . The molybdenum(IV) center is in an pseudo-octahedral environment of a terminal oxo-group (d(Mo?O); 1.705(4) Å), a CN? group in the trans-position (d(Mo? C): 2.373(6) Å), and four equatorial CN? groups (averaged d(Mo? C): 2.178 (Å). The blue and green salts exhibit v(Mo?O) stretching frequencies at 948 cm?1 and 920 cm?1, respectively. Blue and green salts containing the [MoO(OH2)(CN)4]2? anion and [(C6H5)4P]+ or [(C6H5)4As]+ cations have been prepared and characterized by single crystal crystallography. [(C6H5)4P]2[MoO(OH2)(CN)4] · 4 H2O (green) and [(C6H5)4As]2[MoO(OH2)(CN)4] · 4 H2O (blue) crystallize monoclinic in the space group C—P21/n. They are considered to be distortional isomers of the complex anion: the green species has a Mo?O bond distance of 1.72(2) Å whereas for the blue species d(Mo?O) = 1.60(2) Å is found; the corresponding v(Mo?O) frequencies are at 920 cm?1 and 980 cm?1.  相似文献

Contributions to the Chemistry of Organo Transition Metal Compounds. 55. Preparation and Properties of Niobocenium and Tantalocenium Salts — Crystal and Molecular Structure of [(C5H5)2NbCl2][BF4] · CH3CN Niobocenium and tantalocenium compounds of the type [(C5H5)2MCl2]X (X = BF4, PBh4, PF6) were synthesized from the metallocene dichlorides and ferricenium salts, [(C5H5)2Fe]X, in methylene dichloride or tetrahydrofuran. With acetonitrile as solvent [(C5H5)2MCl2]X · CH3CN complexes are formed. Stable methyl compounds of the type [(C5H5)2M(CH3)2]X were obtained, when (C5H5)2Ta(CH3)2 is oxidized by means of ferricenium salts. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, i. r., and 1H n.m.r. spectra. The structure of [(C5H5)2NbCl2][BF4] · CH3CN has been determined by X-ray structure analysis. The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmcm with a = 8.324(12), b = 19.581(13), c = 9,563(8) Å and Z = 4. The coordination geometry of the Nb atom is tetrahedrally.  相似文献

Phosphonium adduct formation via attack of tri-n-butylphosphine on the cations [(C7H7)M(CO)3]+ (M = Cr, Mo, W) obeys the rate law, Rate = k [complex] [PBu3]. The very similar rate constants for the Cr, Mo and W complexes confirm the similar electrophilicities of the tropylium rings in these cations, and also support the view that there is direct addition to the rings. The related complexes [(C6H7)Fe(CO)3]BF4 and [(C6H6)Mn(CO)3]BF4 also form adducts with PBu3, and the quantitative reactivity order [(C6H7)Fe(CO)3]+ > [(C7H7)Cr(CO)3]+ » [(C6H6)Mn(CO)3]+ (160:60:1) has been established.  相似文献

Charge-transfer salts [Co(C5H5)2][M(dpt)2] (M = Ni and Pt; dpt = cis-1,2-diphenylethene-1,2-dithiolate) were synthesized and crystallographically characterized. [Co(C5H5)2][Ni(dpt)2] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 25, 607(3) Å, b = 9.4151(11) Å, c = 14.407(4) Å, β = 101.373(22)°, V = 3405.3(10) Å3 and Z = 4. [Co(C5H5)2][Pt(dpt)2] belongs to the triclinic space group $ {\rm P}\bar 1 $ with a = 9.4666(11) Å, b = 13.9869(12) Å, c = 14.2652(9) Å, α = 99.983(6)°, β = 90.034(7)°, γ = 109.751(7)°, V = 1747.2(3) Å3 and Z = 2. Both structures consist of ··· D+A?D+A?D+A? ··· linear chains with the local C5 axis of the eclipsed [Co(C5H5)2]+ cation parallel to the best MS4 plane of the [M(dpt)2]? anion. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that χM T values of the complexes [Co(C5H5)2][M(dpt)2] (M = Ni, Pd, and Pt) remain nearly constant in the temperature range 15–300 K, but decrease rapidly with further decreasing of temperature, indicating weak antiferromagnetic interactions at low temperatures.  相似文献

Metal Complexes of Phenylenebistriazenides: Synthesis and Crystal Structures of [Cp(CO)2M]2(1,2-PhN3C6H4N3Ph) (M = Mo, W) [Cp(CO)2M]2(1,2-PhN3C6H4N3Ph) [(M = Mo( 1 ), M = W( 2 )] is formed in the reaction of Cp(CO)3MCl with PhN3(H)C6H4N3(H)Ph and C2H5ONa in a THF/ethanol mixture. 1 crystallizes from toluene as dark red crystals (triclinic, P1 , a = 1 499.3(9) pm, b = 1 734.0(7) pm, c = 1 852.8(8) pm, α = 66.84(3)°, β = 78.25(4)°, γ = 77.19(4)°). The unit cell contains four complexes with two independent complexes in the asymmetric unit, and eight solvent molecules. 2 crystallizes from THF as yellow crystals free from solvent molecules (triclinic, P1 , a = 979.0(5) pm, b = 1 152.8(5) pm, c = 1 475.8(5) pm, α = 98.26(4)°, β = 104.93(4)°, γ = 101.03(4)°, Z = 2). 1 and 2 are discrete molecular complexes with a 1,2-bis(phenyltriazenido)phenylligand, (PhN3C6H4N3Ph)2?, chelating the metal atoms of two Cp(CO)2M units with the N atoms N1 and N3 of both N3 groups. Due to the sterical pretension of the Cp(CO)2M units the phenylenebistriazenido ligand deviates strongly from planarity that is found in the metal complexes characterized so far.  相似文献

The positive ion mass spectra of the π-pyrrolyl derivatives C4H4NMn(CO)2L (L = (C6H5)3E or CO; E = P, As, or Sb), the π-indenyl derivatives C9H7Mn(CO)2L (L = (C6H5)3E or CO; E = P, As, or Sb) and the π-fluorenyl derivatives C13H9Mn(CO)2L (L = (C6H5)3P or CO) have been investigated. The relative tendencies of ions of the type [QMnE(C6H5)3]+ (Q = π-pyrrolyl, π-indenyl, or π-fluorenyl; E = P, As, or Sb) to fragment by losses of the Q ring system and the (C6H5)3E ligand are compared. Phenyl transfers from phosphorus, arsenic, or antimony to manganese to form relatively high abundances of [C6H5Mn]+ are also observed. Other processes typical of metal carbonyl derivatives (CO losses), aromatic derivatives (C2H2 eliminations) and (C6H5)3E derivatives (phenyl losses, conversion of [(C6H5)3E]+ directly to [C6H5E]+, and formation of [C12H8E]+ 9-heterofluorenyl ions) are observed in these mass spectra and are supported in many cases by the presence of appropriate metastable ions.  相似文献

The reactions between K5Bi4, [(C6H6)Cr(CO)3] or [(C7H8)Mo(CO)3], and [2.2.2]crypt in liquid ammonia yielded the compounds [K([2.2.2]crypt)]33‐Bi3)M(CO)3 · 10NH3 (M = Cr, Mo), which crystallize isostructurally in P21/n. Both contain an 18 valence electron piano‐stool complex with a η3‐coordinated Bi3‐ring ligand. The Bi–Bi distances range from 2.9560(5) to 2.9867(3) Å and are slightly shorter than known Bi–Bi single bonds but longer than Bi–Bi double bonds. The newly found compounds complete the family of similar complexes with E3‐ring ligands (E = P‐Bi).  相似文献

Reactions of CH3Li, C6H5Li, and C6H5CH2MgCl with [(C5H5)Fe(CO)2Y]+-[B(C6H5)4] [Y  Co, P(C6H5)3, and CS] have been investigated. The organolithium reagents used act either as reducing agents or as nucleophilic reagents towards the cyclopentadienyliron tricarbonyl cation and its thiocarbonyl analogue. The reaction of acetylferrocene [Fe(η‐C5H5)(η‐C5H4COCH3)] (1) with (2‐isopropyl‐5‐methylphenoxy) acetic acid hydrazide [CH3C6H3CH(CH3)2OCH2CONHNH2] (2) in refluxing ethanol gives the stable light‐orange–brown Schiff base 1‐[(2‐isopropyl‐5‐methylphenoxy)hydrazono] ethyl ferrocene, [CH3C6H3CH(CH3)2OCH2CONHN?C(CH3)Fe(η‐C5H5)(η‐C5H4)] (3). Complex 3 has been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and single crystal X‐ray diffraction study. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 9.6965(15), b = 7.4991(12), c = 29.698(7) Å, β = 99.010(13) °, V = 2132.8(7) Å3, Dcalc = 1.346 Mg m?3; absorption coefficient, 0.729 mm?1. The crystal structure clearly shows the characteristic [N? H···O] hydrogen bonding between the two adjacent molecules of 3. This acts as a bidentale ligand, which, on treatment with [Ru(CO)2Cl2] n, gives a stable bimetallic yellow–orange complex (4). Copyright © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Tricarbonyl(fulvene)chromium complexes react with anionic nucleophiles to give functionally substituted cyclopentadienyl derivatives. The nucleophilic attack occurs at the exocyclic carbon atom of the fulvene ligand. Addition of PPh2 to (η6-6,6-dimethylfulvene)Cr(CO)3 (1) yields the novel anion [(η5-C5H4C(CH3)2PPh2)Cr-(CO)3], which can be isolated as a K+, (C2H5)4N+, (C6H5)4P+, or Tl+ derivative (2–5). The potassium salt of the uncoordinated C5H4C(CH3)2PPh2 anion (7) is obtained by treatment of 6,6-dimethylfulvene with KPPh2·2C4H8O2. Similarly, NaC5H5 reacts with 1 to give Na[(η5-C5H4C(CH3)2C5H5)Cr(CO)3] (8). The reactions of (6-dimethylaminofulvene)Cr(CO)3 (15) with nucleophiles are accompanied by elimination of dimethylamine. Addition of Ph3P=CH2 to 15 gives an unstable product, but after reaction of 6-dimethylaminofulvene with Ph3P=CH2, the free ligand C5H4=CHCH=PPh3 (17) can be isolated in moderate yields. Deeply colored anions of the type [(η55-C5H4C(R)=C5H4)Cr2(CO)6] (R = H, N(CH3)2) are synthesized by reaction of 15 or (6-dimethylamino-6-methylthiofulvene)Cr(CO)3 with NaC5H5 and subsequent complexation of the mononuclear intermediate with (CH3CN)3Cr(CO)3. In addition, the synthesis of the new fulvene complexes [C5H4=CH(CH=CH)2N(CH3)Ph]M(CO)3 (23, 24; M = Cr, Mo) is described. The investigation is extended to α-ferrocenylcarbenium ions, which are isoelectronic with (fulvene)Cr(CO)3 complexes. [(η5-C5H5)Fe(C5H4CPh2)]+ BF4 (25) adds tertiary phosphines at the exocyclic carbon atom to give phosphonium salts of the type [(η5-C5H5)Fe(C5H4CPh2PR3)]+BF4. A CO-substititution product of a tricarbonyl (fulvene)chromium complex is obtained for the first time by irradiation of (η6-6,6-diphenylfulvene)Cr(CO)3 in the presence of PPh3. In addition, an improved synthesis of the (CH3CN)3M(CO)3 complexes (M = Cr, Mo, W) is reported.  相似文献
