The experimental data on elastic and inelastic scattering of 270 MeV3 He particles to several low lying states in90Zr,116Sn and208Pb are analyzed within the double folding model(DFM). Fermi density distribution(FDD) of target nuclei is used to obtain real potentials with different powers. DF results are introduced into a modified DWUCK4 code to calculate the elastic and inelastic scattering cross sections. Two choices of potentials form factors are used; Woods Saxon(WS) and Woods Saxon Squared(WS2) for real potential, while the imaginary part is taken as phenomenological Woods Saxon(PWS) and phenomenological Woods Saxon Squared(PWS2). This comparison provides information about the similarities and differences of the models used in calculations.  相似文献

Differential cross sections have been measured for the elastic scattering of 217 MeV 3He particles from 6Li, 9Be, 12C, 28Si, 40Ca, 58Ni, 89Y, 90Zr, 120Sn and 208pb. The data have been analysed with an optical potential. The ambiguities found at lower energies (discrete families of real potential well depths) disappear. An optical potential is also calculated with an effective 3He-N interaction and a matter distribution. The agreement with experiment is good. Some comparisons are made with 166 MeV α-particle elastic scattering data.  相似文献

Inelastic electron scattering form factors for some low-lying excited states of 208Pb are calculated within the Migdal theory of interacting quasiparticles. The fairly good agreement with experiment is discussed.  相似文献

The tensor analysing powers T20 and T22 of(d, p) reactions leading to several states of the final nuclei 29Si, 68Zn, 91Zr and 209Pb were measured at 12.3 MeV deuteron beam energy. The measured tensor analysing powers together with the vector analysing power and cross-section data are compared with DWBA calculations with and without the deuteron D-state. The D-state effects and j-dependence of the tensor analysing powers are discussed. The spin transfers involved in populating the 1.08, 1.88 and 3.30 MeV states in 68Zn in the 67Zn(d, p)68Zn reaction are deduced to be predominantly 12?. This implies an assignment for the 3.287 MeV level of 68Zn of Jπ = 2+.  相似文献

The angular distribution of γ-rays from fast proton capture in 208Pb has been examined in detail by the direct-semidirect model. The interference of the dipole, quadrupole and octupole amplitudes was considered. The excitation of the isovector giant quadrupole resonance was assumed to occur at the excitation energy of 22.5 MeV, having the width of 5 MeV. The excitation of this resonance strongly influences the asymmetry of the angular distribution but the major part of the asymmetry is a consequence of the direct capture of the incident proton. Several groups of optical-model parameters were used in the calculation in order to see how they affect the results. The complex interaction coupling between the incident proton and the quadrupole giant resonance is essential to obtain good fits to the experimental asymmetry of the angular distribution of γ-rays.  相似文献

The 91Zr(d, 3He) reaction was studied at a deuteron energy of 28 MeV. Angular distributions were measured from 13° to 47°; lp values were extracted for the prominent lines of 90Y. The lp values and transition strengths were determined by DWBA analysis. The angular distributions for the p12)(νd52) doublet (g.s. and 0.20 MeV state) exhibit the characteristic l = 1 shape. States at 1.42, 1.57, 1.64 and 1.81 MeV were also populated strongly in the (d, 3He) reaction; the 1.42, 1.57 and 1.81 MeV levels contain l= 1 transition strength and are most likely members of the p32?1)(νd52) multiplet. The 2.03 MeV state has a characteristic l = 3 angular distribution and is suggested to be the only member of the f32?1)(νd52) sextet to be unambiguously observed in this study, most probably the 5? or 4? member. The members of the g52)(νd92) sextet were populated weakly (less than 100 μb/sr) in this reaction.  相似文献

Differential cross section and analyzing power angular distributions have been measured for transitions to low-lying bound states with Jπ = 2+, 3?, 4+ and 5?, and the giant resonance region from 6 to 27 MeV excitation energy. Collective model calculations using a full Thomas form factor reproduce the data fairly well. The so-called LEOR turns out not to be seen as pure E3 in (p, p′). In the giant resonance region the data do not reveal the presence of a sizeable monopole strength, 10–20% of the energy-weighted sum rule at most. There is strong indication for a mixture of E2 (18% of the EWSR) and E4 (16% of the EWSR). Calculations were also carried out using RPA (1p1h) wave functions. They reproduce the experimental data rather poorly, except for the general behaviour of the cross-section angular distributions.  相似文献

We consider, in the context of simple gauge models, the possibility that lepton number is a spontaneously broken global symmetry, leading to massive Majorana neutrinos. We find that the usual objections associated with global symmetry breakdown may be moot in this case since the Goldstone boson associated with lepton number breakdown - the majoron - is so weakly coupled to matter that it may have well escaped detection.  相似文献

Bump structure was observed in the continuum energy spectra of 3He from the 3He(τ, τ') reaction at 120 MeV. The angular dependence of the cross sections at around the peak of the bump was reproduced by calculations based on the simple impulse approximation. It is also shown that the effects of multiple scattering are important to reproduce the energy spectrum of the lower-energy side of the bump.  相似文献

The 3He scattering cross sections have been measured at 17.5 and 40.0 MeV from the ground state and first four excited levels of 11B. The results are analysed with the SCA assuming 11B to be a symmetric rotator and including the K-band mixing introduced by the Coriolis force. The Doppler-broadened 7.117 MeV line from the 19F(p, αγ)16O reaction has been used to resonantly excite levels in 208Pb at 7071±2 and 7091±2 keV, in 207Pb at 7186±5 and 7206±5 keV and in 209Bi at 7179±5 and 7202±5 keV. On the basis of angular distribution measurements the 7071 and 7091 keV levels of 208Pb are assigned spins of 1 and assuming 100% ground state branching the widths are calculated to be 31±3 and 17±2 eV respectively. It is suggested that the states in 207Pb and 209Bi arise from the weak coupling of a P12 neutron hole and an h92 proton respectively to one or the other of the 208Pb levels. The widths obtained in terms of gΓo2/Γ are 15±4 and 25±5 eV for the 7186 and 7206 keV levels of 207Pb and 24±5 and 30±5 for the levels of 209Bi respectively. These values are consistent with the weak-coupling suggestion.  相似文献

The longitudinal momentum transferred to a target nucleus (ΔP) has been studied for light-particle emission in the 14N-induced reaction on 232Th at 208 MeV. The transferred momentum was deduced by measuring folding angles between two fission fragments resulting from the sequential decay of the target-like nucleus. It was found that the fraction ?2 = (〈ΔP〉 + Pout)Pbeam averaged over light-particle energy was about 0.68, almost independent of light-particle species and detection angle, where Pbeam is the initial momentum of the beam particle and Pout, the momentum component parallel to the beam carried away by the observed light particle. A possible mechanism for describing the phenomena is discussed.  相似文献

Cross-sections for doubly radiative thermal neutron capture on 2H, 3He, 16O and208Pb are calculated to be 21, 1200, 41 and 50 nb, corresponding to branching ratios of σ(n, γγ)/σ(n, γ) = 4.0 × 10?5, ~ × 10?2, 2.2 × 10?4 and 1.0 × 10?4, respectively.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the (3He, t) charge-exchange reaction have been measured on a 12C target with 217 MeV 3He particles. High energy tritons were detected using a thick Ge(Li) crystal (43 mm) and a 4 mm Si(Li) detector in an E-ΔE telescope. Microscopic DWBA calculations have been carried out, using the rather well known wave functions of the 12C levels from Gillet and Vinh-Mau. The sensitivity of this reaction to the different terms of the two-body effective interaction is discussed. A comparison of the (3He, t) and (3He, 3He') reactions populating analog final states is also presented. The two-step mechanisms (3He,α)(α, t) and (3He, d)(d, t) are introduced for the first two levels 1+(g.s.) and 2+(0.969 MeV) and the results emphasize the importance of such processes at high energy.  相似文献

The differential cross section of the elastic scattering 3He(4He, 4He)3He has been measured at center of mass energies Ec.m. between 28 and 44 MeV and in the c.m. angular range of 20° to 160°. The 3He polarization P at Ec.m. = 42 MeV and θc.m. = 132° was determined in a double scattering experiment. The analysis of the cross section data with the optical and the cluster model has been described previously. The phase shifts obtained in the cluster model calculations were used as starting values in a phase shift analysis. The resulting final real phase shifts and elasticity parameters give good fits to the cross section data. At 44 MeV the elasticity parameters show a pronounced odd-even dependence on angular momentum which had been found already in the case of the real phase shifts. The result of the polarization experiment |P| < 0.22 is consistent with cluster model predictions.  相似文献

A time-dependent Hartree-Fock calculation assuming axial and reflection symmetry constraints is performed for the head-on collision of 208Pb + 208Pb systems at Elab≈1600 MeV. The calculation suggests the excitation of surface modes in the reaction and the energy loss characteristic of a deep inelastic process. The cross sections of inelastic electron scattering on 4He leading to the quasi-bound state (0+, ε = 20.1 MeV) were measured in the momentum transfer range 0.8 fm?2 < q2 < 2.4 fm?2. We found it to be a pure longitudinal transition and give the form factor of this C0transition.  相似文献

The structure of 92Nb has been investigated using the 33.8 MeV 92Zr(3He, t) and (3He, p2nγ) reactions. Several previously unobserved levels, including several belonging to the π(g92)ν(g92)?1 multiplet, are reported. The results are discussed in terms of the shell model.  相似文献
