In this paper, we prove that a biderivation of a finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra without the restriction of being skewsymmetric is an inner biderivation. As an application, the biderivation of a general linear Lie algebra is presented. In particular, we find a class of a non-inner and non-skewsymmetric biderivations. Furthermore, we also obtain the forms of the linear commuting maps on the finite-dimensional complex simple Lie algebra or general linear Lie algebra.  相似文献

Over a field of any characteristic, for a commutative associative algebra , and for a commutative subalgebra of , the vector space which consists of polynomials of elements in with coefficients in and which is regarded as operators on forms naturally an associative algebra. It is proved that, as an associative algebra, is simple if and only if is -simple. Suppose is -simple. Then, (a) is a free left -module; (b) as a Lie algebra, the subquotient is simple (except for one case), where is the center of . The structure of this subquotient is explicitly described. This extends the results obtained by Su and Zhao.

Let n be a natural number, and let A be an indecomposable cellular algebra such that the spectrum of its Cartan matrix C is of the form {n, 1, …., 1}. In general, not every natural number could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra. Thus, two natural questions arise: (1) which numbers could be the number of non-isomorphic simple modules over such a cellular algebra A ? (2) Given such a number, is there a cellular algebra such that its Cartan matrix has the desired property ? In this paper, we shall completely answer the first question, and give a partial answer to the second question by constructing cellular algebras with the pre-described Cartan matrix.  相似文献

A Poisson algebra is a Lie algebra endowed with a commutative associative product in such a way that the Lie and associative products are compatible via a Leibniz rule. If we part from a Lie color algebra, instead of a Lie algebra, a graded-commutative associative product and a graded-version Leibniz rule we get a so-called Poisson color algebra (of degree zero). This concept can be extended to any degree, so as to obtain the class of Poisson color algebras of arbitrary degree. This class turns out to be a wide class of algebras containing the ones of Lie color algebras (and so Lie superalgebras and Lie algebras), Poisson algebras, graded Poisson algebras, z-Poisson algebras, Gerstenhaber algebras, and Schouten algebras among other classes of algebras. The present paper is devoted to the study of structure of Poisson color algebras of degree g0, where g0 is some element of the grading group G such that g0 = 0 or 4g0≠0, and with restrictions neither on the dimension nor the base field, by stating a second Wedderburn-type theorem for this class of algebras.  相似文献

In one of our recent papers, the associative and the Lie algebras of Weyl typeA[D]=A⊗F[D] were defined and studied, whereA is a commutative associative algebra with an identity element over a field F of any characteristic, and F[D] is the polynomial algebra of a commutative derivation subalgebraD ofA. In the present paper, a class of the above associative and Lie algebrasA[D] with F being a field of characteristic 0,D consisting of locally finite but not locally nilpotent derivations ofA, are studied. We consider the algorithmic problem of computing a primitive idempotent of a central simple algebra over the field of rational functions over a finite field. The algebra is given by a set of structure constants. The problem is reduced to the computation of a division algebra Brauer equivalent to the central simple algebra. This division algebra is constructed as a cyclic algebra, once the Hasse invariants have been computed. We give an application to skew constacyclic convolutional codes.  相似文献

Poisson algebras are fundamental algebraic structures in physics and sym-plectic geometry. However, the structure theory of Poisson algebras has not been well developed. In this paper, we determine the structure of the central simple Poisson algebras related to locally finite derivations, over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We consider the Borcherds-Cartan matrix obtained from a symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrix by adding one imaginary simple root. We extend the result of Gebert and Teschner [Lett. Math. Phys., 1994, 31: 327-334] to the quantum case. Moreover, we give a connection between the irreducible dominant representations of quantum Kac-Moody algebras and those of quantum generalized Kac-Moody algebras. As the result, a large class of irreducible dominant representations of quantum generalized Kac-Moody algebras were obtained from representations of quantum Kac-Moody algebras through tensor algebras.  相似文献

It is proven that every purely infinite simple ring is an exchange ring. This result is applied to determine those Leavitt algebras that are exchange rings.
