The graded Hecke algebra for a finite Weyl group is intimately related to the geometry of the Springer correspondence. A construction of Drinfeld produces an analogue of a graded Hecke algebra for any finite subgroup of GL(V). This paper classifies all the algebras obtained by applying Drinfeld's construction to complex reflection groups. By giving explicit (though nontrivial) isomorphisms, we show that the graded Hecke algebras for finite real reflection groups constructed by Lusztig are all isomorphic to algebras obtained by Drinfeld's construction. The classification shows that there exist algebras obtained from Drinfeld's construction which are not graded Hecke algebras as defined by Lusztig for real as well as complex reflection groups. A construction of bases for cell modules of the Birman–Murakami–Wenzl (or B–M–W) algebra B n (q,r) by lifting bases for cell modules of B n−1(q,r) is given. By iterating this procedure, we produce cellular bases for B–M–W algebras on which a large Abelian subalgebra, generated by elements which generalise the Jucys–Murphy elements from the representation theory of the Iwahori–Hecke algebra of the symmetric group, acts triangularly. The triangular action of this Abelian subalgebra is used to provide explicit criteria, in terms of the defining parameters q and r, for B–M–W algebras to be semisimple. The aforementioned constructions provide generalisations, to the algebras under consideration here, of certain results from the Specht module theory of the Iwahori–Hecke algebra of the symmetric group. We study the representation theory of graded Hecke algebras, starting from scratch and focusing on representations that are obtained by induction from a discrete series representation of a parabolic subalgebra. We determine all intertwining operators between such parabolically induced representations, and use them to parametrize the irreducible representations. Finally we describe the spectrum of a graded Hecke algebra as a topological space.  相似文献

We prove that, if H is a finite-dimensional semisimple Hopf algebra, and A is an FCR H-module algebra over an algebraically closed field, then A is a PI-algebra, provided the subalgebra of invariants is a PI-algebra. We also show that if A is an affine algebra with an action of a finite group G by automorphisms, the subalgebra of the fixed points AG is in the center of A, and the characteristic of the ground field is either zero or relatively prime to the order of G, then AG is affine. Analogous results are proved for graded algebras and H-module algebras over a semisimple triangular Hopf algebra over a field of characteristic zero. We prove also that, if A is an H-module algebra with an identity element, and H is either a semisimple group algebra or its dual, then, if A is semiprimitive (semiprime), then so is AH.  相似文献

We introduce the spin Hecke algebra, which is a q-deformation of the spin symmetric group algebra, and its affine generalization. We establish an algebra isomorphism which relates our spin (affine) Hecke algebras to the (affine) Hecke-Clifford algebras of Olshanski and Jones-Nazarov. Relation between the spin (affine) Hecke algebra and a nonstandard presentation of the usual (affine) Hecke algebra is displayed, and the notion of covering (affine) Hecke algebra is introduced to provide a link between these algebras. Various algebraic structures for the spin (affine) Hecke algebra are established.  相似文献

For a subalgebra B of a partial monounary algebra A we define the quotient partial monounary algebra A/B. Let B, B, C be partial monounary algebras. In this paper we give a construction of all partial monounary algebras A such that B is a subalgebra of A and CA/B.  相似文献

For a root system of type B we study an algebra similar to a graded Hecke algebra, isomorphic to a subalgebra of the rational Cherednik algebra. We introduce principal series modules over it and prove an irreducibility criterion for these modules. We deduce similar results for an algebra associated to a root system of type D.  相似文献

The Lie algebra of Cartan type H which occurs as a subalgebra of the Lie algebra of derivations of the polynomial algebra was generalized by the first author to a class which included a subalgebra of the derivations of the Laurent polynomials . We show in this paper that these generalizations of Cartan type H algebras are isomorphic to certain generalizations of the classical algebra of Poisson brackets, and that it can be generalized further. In turn, these algebras can be recast in a form that is an adaption of a class of Lie algebras of characteristic p that was defined in 1958 be R. Block. A further generalization of these algebras is the main topic of this paper. We show when these algebras are simple, find their derivations, and determine all possible isomorphisms between two of these algebras. We generalise the Dixmier-Douady classification of continuous-trace C?-algebras to Fell algebras. To do so, we show that C?-diagonals in Fell algebras are precisely abelian subalgebras with the extension property, and use this to prove that every Fell algebra is Morita equivalent to one containing a diagonal subalgebra. We then use the machinery of twisted groupoid C?-algebras and equivariant sheaf cohomology to define an analogue of the Dixmier-Douady invariant for Fell algebras, and to prove our classification theorem.  相似文献

We develop and collect techniques for determining Hochschild cohomology of skew group algebras and apply our results to graded Hecke algebras. We discuss the explicit computation of certain types of invariants under centralizer subgroups, focusing on the infinite family of complex reflection groups to illustrate our ideas. Resulting formulas for Hochschild two-cocycles give information about deformations of and, in particular, about graded Hecke algebras. We expand the definition of a graded Hecke algebra to allow a nonfaithful action of on , and we show that there exist nontrivial graded Hecke algebras for , in contrast to the case of the natural reflection representation. We prove that one of these graded Hecke algebras is equivalent to an algebra that has appeared before in a different form.

In this paper, we define the notion of self-dual graded weak Hopf algebra and self-dual semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra. We give characterization of finite-dimensional such algebras when they are in structually simple forms in the sense of E. L. Green and E. N. Morcos. We also give the definition of self-dual weak Hopf quiver and apply these types of quivers to classify the finite- dimensional self-dual semilattice graded weak Hopf algebras. Finally, we prove partially the conjecture given by N. Andruskiewitsch and H.-J. Schneider in the case of finite-dimensional pointed semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra H when grH is self-dual.  相似文献

Hochschild cohomology governs deformations of algebras, and its graded Lie structure plays a vital role. We study this structure for the Hochschild cohomology of the skew group algebra formed by a finite group acting on an algebra by automorphisms. We examine the Gerstenhaber bracket with a view toward deformations and developing bracket formulas. We then focus on the linear group actions and polynomial algebras that arise in orbifold theory and representation theory; deformations in this context include graded Hecke algebras and symplectic reflection algebras. We give some general results describing when brackets are zero for polynomial skew group algebras, which allow us in particular to find noncommutative Poisson structures. For abelian groups, we express the bracket using inner products of group characters. Lastly, we interpret results for graded Hecke algebras.  相似文献

We define the new algebra. This algebra has a parameter q. The defining relations of this algebra at q = 1 coincide with the basic relations of the alternating group. We also give the new subalgebra of the Hecke algebra of type A which is isomorphic to this algebra. This algebra is free of rank half that of the Hecke algebra. Hence this algebra is regarded as a q-analogue of the alternating group. All the isomorphism classes of the irreducible representations of this algebra and the q-analogue of the branching rule between the symmetric group and the alternating group are obtained.  相似文献

We define a general notion of set of indices which, using concepts from pre‐ordered sets theory, permits to unify the presentation of several Colombeau‐type algebras of nonlinear generalized functions. In every set of indices it is possible to generalize Landau's notion of big‐O such that its usual properties continue to hold. Using this generalized notion of big‐O, these algebras can be formally defined the same way as the special Colombeau algebra. Finally, we examine the scope of this formalism and show its effectiveness by applying it to the proof of the pointwise characterization in Colombeau algebras.  相似文献

In this Note, we define infinitesimal analogues of the Iwahori–Hecke algebras associated with finite Coxeter groups. These are reductive Lie algebras for which we announce several decomposition results. These decompositions yield irreducibility results for representations of the corresponding (pure) generalized braid groups deduced from Hecke algebra representations through tensor constructions. In this paper, we generalize two kinds of graded algebras, δ-Koszul algebras and K p algebras, to the non-graded cases. The trivial modules of δ-Koszul algebras have pure resolutions, while those of K p algebras admit non-pure resolutions. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for a notherian semiperfect algebra either to be a quasi-δ-Koszul algebra or to be a quasi-K p algebra.  相似文献

Both building upon and revising previous literature, this paper formulates the general notion of a Borel subalgebra B of a quasi-hereditary algebra A. We present various general constructions of Borel subalgebras, establish a triangular factorization of A, and relate the concept to graded Kazhdan–Lusztig theories in the sense of Cline et al. (Tôhoku Math. J. 45 (1993), 511–534). Various interesting types of Borel subalgebras arise naturally in different contexts. For example, `excellent" Borel subalgebras come about by abstracting the theory of Schubert varieties. Numerous examples from algebraic groups, q-Schur algebras, and quantum groups are considered in detail.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish connections between the first extensions of simple modules and certain filtrations of of standard modules in the setting of graded Hecke algebras. The filtrations involved are radical filtrations and Jantzen filtrations. Our approach involves the use of information from the Langlands classification as well as some deeper understanding on some structure of some modules. Such module arises from the image of a Knapp-Stein type intertwining operator and is a quotient of a generalized standard module. As an application, we compute the Ext-groups for irreducible modules in a block for the graded Hecke algebra of type C 3, assuming the truth of a version of Jantzen conjecture.  相似文献
