The Schiff bases [H2SBSaD], [H2SBVD] and [H2SBND], derived by the condensation of S-benzyldithiocarbazate and salicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde respectively, react with diestertin dichlorides, R2SnCl2 [R=? CH2CH2CO2CH3, ? CH2CH2CO2C2H5 or ? CH2CH2CO2C4H9] in 1:1 molar proportion to yield chlorine-substituted complexes of the type R2Sn(Schiff base), the base being tridentate. The complexes are characterized on the basis of their elemental analyses, IR and 1H NMR spectral studies. The 13C and 119Sn NMR and the tin-carbon coupling constant data reveal the structures of the complexes to be octahedral with trans ester grouping, and bidentate ester linkages. The pentacoordinated complex (CH3)2Sn(SBSaD) was prepared by the reaction of dimethyltin oxide with H2SBSaD in equimolar proportions.  相似文献

Diorganotin dichloride compounds, Rl2SnCl2 (R=Me, nBu, Ph) react with Schiff bases (L), derived from substituted and non-substituted 2- or 3-aminopyridine with 2-hydroxy-, 2-methoxy- or 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzaldehyde in a 1 : 1 molar ratio, to give complexes of general formula R2SnCl2·L. It is suggested that the Schiff bases coordinate with tin in bidentate fashion to give hexacoordinate tin species. Almost all the complexes prepared show some 1 : 1 molar conductivity in ethanol and DMF, indicating on R2Sn(L)Cl+ Cl ionic structure type. The complexes were screened against seven species of bacteria.  相似文献

In this article the kinetics of the interaction between the teteraaza Schiff bases as donor with organotin(IV)chlorides as acceptor was studied in acetonitrile. Teteraaza Schiff bases are (Me4‐Bzo2[14]tetraeneN4) (tmtaa), (Me4‐4‐CH3Bzo2[14]tetraeneN4) (Metmtaa), (Me4‐4‐ClBzo2[14]tetraeneN4) (Cltmtaa), i.e., [(Me4‐Bzo2[14]tetraeneN4)] means that (5,7,12,14‐tetramethyldibenzo[b,i][1,4,8,11] tetraazacyclotetradecine) (tmtaa) and organotin(IV)chlorides are methyltin(IV) trichloride, phenyltin(IV)trichloride, dimethyltin (IV)dichloride, diphenyltin(IV) dichloride, and dibutyltin(IV)dichloride. The kinetic parameters and the second‐order k2 rate constants show the donor properties of tetraaza Schiff bases as Me4‐4‐CH3Bzo2[14]tetraeneN4 > Me4‐Bzo2[14]tetraeneN4 > Me4‐4‐ClBzo2[14]tetraeneN4 and also the acceptor properties of organotin(IV)chlorides as PhSnCl3 > MeSnCl3 > Ph2SnCl2 > Me2SnCl2 > Bu2SnCl2. An excellent linearity of kobs vs. the molar concentration of the acceptor, the high span of k2 values, the large negative values of ΔS, and the low ΔH values suggest an associative (A) mechanism for the acceptor–donor interaction. © 2011 Wiley Peiodicals, Inc. The interactions of silylated dibasic quadridentate Schiff bases derived fromo-hydroxyacetophenone and ethylenediamine and orthophenylenediamine with (π-C5H5)TiCl3, (π-C5H5)(MeO)TiCl2, (MeO)2TiCl2, Me2SnCl2 and MeSnCl3 yield a new series of organotitanium(IV) and tin(IV) compounds. The reactivity of (π- C5H5)Ti(L1)Cl and MeSn(L1)Cl, towards MeSH, Me2NSiMe3, SiMe3N3 and Me3SiC = CPh are also described. The structures for the compounds isolated are proposed on the basis of elemental analyses, molecular weights, IR and1H nmr spectroscopic studies.  相似文献

Chiral Half‐sandwich Pentamethylcyclopentadienyl Rhodium(III) and Iridium(III) Complexes with Schiff Bases from Salicylaldehyde and α‐Amino Acid Esters [1] A series of diastereoisomeric half‐sandwich complexes with Schiff bases from salicylaldehyde and L‐α‐amino acid esters including chiral metal atoms, [(η5‐C5H5)(Cl)M(N,O‐Schiff base)], has been obtained from chloro bridged complexes [(η5‐C5Me5)(Cl)M(μ‐Cl)]2 (M = Rh, Ir). Abstraction of chloride from these complexes with Ag[BF4] or Ag[SO3CF3] affords the highly sensitive compounds [(η5‐C5Me5)M(N,O‐Schiff base]+X? (M = Rh, Ir; X = BF4, CF3SO3) to which PPh3 can be added under formation of [(η5‐C5Me5)M(PPh3)(N,O‐Schiff base)]+X?. The diastereoisomeric ratio of the complexes ( 1 ‐ 7 and 11 ‐ 12 ) has been determined from NMR spectra.  相似文献

The molecular structures of the isatin Schiff bases of S-methyldithiocarbazate (Hisasme) and S-benzyldithiocarbazate (Hisasbz) have been determined by X-ray diffraction and their complexes of general formula [ML2n(solvate) [M = Co2+, Ni2+, Zn2+; L = anionic forms of Hisasme or Hisasbz; solvate = DMF, DMSO; n = 1, 2] and [Sn(L)Ph2Cl]·nMeOH (n = 0, 1) have been synthesized and characterized by a variety of physicochemical techniques and X-ray diffraction. The bis-ligand complexes, [Ni(isasbz)2]·2DMSO and [Co(isasme)2]·DMF have a six-coordinate, distorted octahedral geometry with the two uninegatively charged tridentate ONS ligands coordinated to the metal ions meridionally via the amide O-atoms, the azomethine nitrogen atoms and the thiolate sulfur atoms. By contrast, the crystal structure of [Zn(isasbz)2]·2DMF shows a four-coordinate distorted tetrahedral geometry with the two Schiff bases coordinated as NS bidentate ligands via the azomethine nitrogen atoms and the thiolate sulfur atoms. Steric constraints of the rigid tridentate ligands lead to unusual ‘pseudo-coordination’ of the O-donors which occupy sites close to the metal but too distant to be considered as true coordinate bonds. The crystal structures of the tin(IV) complexes [SnLPh2Cl]·nMeOH (L = isasme and isasbz; n = 0, 1) also show that the Schiff bases act as monoanionic bidentate NS chelating agents coordinating the tin(IV) ion via the azomethine nitrogen atoms and the thiolate sulfur atoms, the tin atom in each complex is five-coordinate with a highly distorted geometry intermediate of square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal. Again Sn?O contacts are weak and do not qualify as coordinate bonds.  相似文献

Symmetrical bis‐Schiff bases (LH 2) have been synthesized by the condensation of 1,6‐hexanediamine (hn) and carbonyl or dicarbonyl. One of the synthesized Schiff bases has been subjected to the molecular docking for the prediction of their potentiality against coronavirus (SARS‐CoV‐2). Molecular docking revealed that tested Schiff base possessed high binding affinity with the receptor protein of SARS CoV‐2 compared with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). The ADMET analysis showed that ligand is non‐carcinogenic and less toxic than standard HCQ. Schiff bases acting as dibasic tetra‐dentate ligands formed titanium (IV) complexes of the type [TiL(H2O)2Cl2] or [TiL(H2O)2]Cl2 being coordinated through ONNO donor atoms. Ligands and complexes were characterized by the elemental analysis and physicochemical and spectroscopic data including FTIR, 1H NMR, mass spectra, UV‐Visible spectra, molar conductance, and magnetic measurement. Optimized structures obtained from quantum chemical calculations supported the formation of complexes. Antibacterial, antifungal, and anti‐oxidant activity assessments have been studied for synthesized ligands and complexes.  相似文献

The structures of two complexes, [Ph3PCH2Ph]+[Bu3SnCl2] and [Ph3AsCH2COPh]+[Ph3SnCl2], have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Both materials are monoclinic, space group P21/c. Unit cell data for [Ph3PCH2Ph]+−[Bu3SnCl2] are a 9.8521(6), b 16.9142(4), c 22.3517(7) Å, β 91.4235(9)°; and for [Ph3AsCH2COPh]+[Ph3SnCl2] a 34.9760(3), b 11.1290(5), c 24.2410(2) Å, β 108.56(2)°, and both consist of the component ionic species. The organotin anions each have trigonal bipyramidal geometry with equatorial organic groups and axial halogens. In the [Ph3SnCl2] anion the two Sn---Cl bond distances are the same (2.58(1) and 2.60(1) Å), but in [Bu3SnCl2], as in [Me3SnCl2], they are substantially different (2.573(7) and 2.689(6) Å). The Sn---C bond distances also vary: [Ph3SnCl2] 2.15(4), 2.16(3) and 2.25(5); [Bu3SnCl2] 2.21(1), 2.20(2) and 2.29(2) Å. Tin-119 Mössbauer data for these and several other similar complexes are also reported.  相似文献

1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 2,2′-bipyridyl (bipy), pyridine (py) and 4-picoline (4-pic) complexes of dibutyltindichloride (Bu2SnCl2) and dimethyltindichloride (Me2SnCl2) were synthesized. The complexes were characterized with the help of elemental analyses, IR spectra and thermal analyses. The complexes were found to have the compositions [Bu2SnCl2·phen], [Bu2SnCl2·bipy], [Me2SnCl2·phen], [Me2SnCl2·bipy], [Me2SnCl2·2py] and [Me2SnCl2·2(4-pic)]·H2O. All these complex compounds appeared to posses octahedral structures. Thermodynamic parameters, such as activation energyE a * enthalpy change ΔH and entropy change ΔS, for the dehydration and sublimation of the complexes were evaluated using some standard methods.  相似文献

New series of manganese(III) complexes and amino acid Schiff bases have been prepared from 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde and α-amino acids [L-aspartic acid (Asp), L-asparagine (Asn), L-glutamic acid (Glu) and L-glutamine (Gln)]. The structures of the ligands and manganese complexes were identified using elemental analyses, i.r, electronic spectra, 1H-n.m.r spectra, magnetic moment measurements and thermogravimetric analyses (t.g.a). The results suggest that H2L1: [N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene) aspartic acid] and H2L3: [N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene)glutamic acid] Schiff bases behave as trianionic tetradentate species and coordinate to Mn(III) ion according to the general formula [MnL] · xH2O complexes. But, H2L2: [N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene) asparagine] and H2L4: [N-(2-hydroxy-1-naphthylidene)glutamine] Schiff bases behave as dianionic tridentate and coordinate to Mn(III) ion in the general formula for [MnL(OOCH3)] · xH2O complexes.  相似文献

The tris(mercaptophenylimidazolyl)borate iron and cobalt complexes [TmPh]2M (M=Fe, Co) have been synthesized by reaction of [TmPh]Tl with MI2. Structural characterization by X-ray diffraction demonstrates that the potentially tridentate [TmPh] ligand binds through only two sulfur donors in these ‘sandwich’ complexes and that the ‘tetrahedral’ metal centers supplement the bonding by interactions with the two B–H groups. Comparison of the structures of [TmPh]2M (M=Fe, Co) with the related tris(pyrazolyl)borate [TpPh]2M counterparts indicates that the tris(mercaptoimidazolyl) ligand favors lower primary coordination numbers in divalent metal complexes. The trivalent complexes, {[TpPh]2Fe}[ClO4] and {[pzBmMe]2Co}I, however, exhibit octahedral coordination, with the ligands binding using their full complement of donor atoms.  相似文献

Stable ruthenium(II) complexes of Schiff bases have been prepared by reacting [RuHCl(CO)(PPh3)2(B)] (B = PPh3, pyridine or piperidine) with bis(o-vanillin)ethylenediimine (valen), bis(o-vanillin)propylene-diimine (valpn), bis(o-vanillin)tetramethylenediimine (valtn), bis(o-vanillin)o-phenylenediimine (valphn), bis(salicylaldehyde)tetramethylenediimine (saltn) and bis(salicylaldehyde)o-phenylenediimine (salphn). These complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, i.r., electronic, 1H- and 31P{1H}-n.m.r. spectral studies. In all the above reactions, the Schiff bases replace two molecules of Ph3P, a hydride and a halide ion from the starting complexes, indicating that the Ru–N bonds present in the complexes containing heterocyclic nitrogen bases are stronger than the Ru–P bond to Ph3P. The new complexes of the general formula [Ru(CO)(B)(L)] (B = PPh3, py or pip; L = tetradentate Schiff bases) have been assigned an octahedral structure. Some of the Schiff bases and the new complexes have been tested against the pathogenic fungus Fusarium sp.  相似文献

The heterocyclic ligands [1,2,4]triazolo-[1,5-a]pyrimidine (tp) and 5,7-dimethyl-[1,2,4]triazolo-[1,5-a]pyrimidine (dmtp), react with diorganotin dichlorides giving the addition compounds Me2SnCl2(tp)2, Et2SnCl2(tp)2, Me2SnCl2(dmtp)2, Et2SnCl2(dmtp)2, Bu2SnCl2(dmtp), Ph2SnCl2(dmtp). The organotin:ligand stoichiometry goes from 1:2 to 1:1 by increasing the steric hindrance of the organic groups bound to tin. The compounds have been characterized by means of infrared, 119Sn Mössbauer and 1H AND 13C NMR spectroscopy. The ligands presumably coordinate to tin classically through the nitrogen atom at the position 3. The 1:1 complexes adopt trigonal bipyramidal structures, with the organic groups on the equatorial plane and the ligand in the apical position. All-trans octahedral structures are inferred for the 1:2 complexes, except for Et2SnCl2(tp)2, characterized by a skew-trapezoidal structure.119Sn Mössbauer measurements, at room temperature, in concomitance with DFT calculations, performed on isomeric structures of R2SnCl2(tp)2 (R = Me, Et), allowed us to conclude that the all-trans octahedral coordination induces self-assembly in the solid state, possibly accomplished through π-π stacking interactions among the planar ligands coordinated to the organotin(IV) compound, while the skew-trapezoidal structure attributed to Et2SnCl2(tp)2, induces the formation of monomeric adducts in the solid state. In vitro antimicrobial tests showed that [n-Bu2SnCl2(dmtp)] has interesting properties as anti Gram-positive and antibiofilm agent.  相似文献

Four new nickel(II), zinc(II), and cobalt(II) complexes, [Zn(L1)2]?·?H2O (1), [Ni(L1)2]?·?H2O (2), [Ni(L2)2] (3), and [Co(L3)2]?·?H2O (4), derived from hydroxy-rich Schiff bases 2-{[1-(5-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-methylpropane-1,3-diol (HL1), 2-{[1-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-ethylpropane-1,3-diol (HL2), and 2-{[1-(5-bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl)methylidene]amino}-2-methylpropane-1,3-diol (HL3) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray determination. Each metal in the complexes is six-coordinate in a distorted octahedral coordination. The Schiff bases coordinate to the metal atoms through the imino N, phenolate O, and one hydroxyl O. In the crystal structures of HL1 and the complexes, molecules are linked through intermolecular O–H···O hydrogen bonds, forming 1-D chains. The urease inhibitory activities of the compounds were evaluated and molecular docking study of the compounds with the Helicobacter pylori urease was performed.  相似文献

The reactions of the 1,2‐diselenolato‐1,2‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaborane(12) dianion 1 with diorganoelement(IV) dichlorides (Ph2CCl2, Me2SiCl2, Ph2SiCl2, Me2SnCl2, Ph2SnCl2) gave novel five‐member heterocycles along with other products. The molecular structures of the five‐member rings containing CPh2 ( 2 ) and SnPh2 ( 9 ) moieties between the selenium atoms were determined by X‐ray analyses. In the case of the chlorosilanes, the analogous five‐member ring containing the SiPh2 unit ( 4 ) could be identified in mixtures. The expected reaction was accompanied by rearrangement leading to formation of another five‐member ring 6 containing the Ph2Si? Se? Se moiety. Oxidative addition of the five‐member heterocycles containing tin ( 7, 9 ) to ethene‐bis(triphenylphosphane)platinum(0) gave at low temperature the bis(triphenylphosphane)platinum(II) complexes 12 and 13 , where the Pt(PPh3)2 fragment had been inserted into one of the Sn? Se bonds. Extensive decomposition of these complexes was observed above ? 20 °C. The proposed solution‐state structures of the new compounds are supported by multinuclear magnetic resonance data (1H, 11B, 13C, 29Si, 31P, 77Se, 119Sn and 195Pt NMR). Ruthenium(III) complexes of three tetradentate Schiff bases with N2O2 donors formulated as [RuCl(LL1)(H2O)], [RuCl(LL2)(H2O)] and [RuCl(LL3)(H2O)] were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance, FTIR, and electronic spectral measurements. The FTIR data showed that the tetradentate Schiff base ligands coordinate to Ru ions through the azomethine nitrogen and enolic oxygen. The antioxidant activities of the complexes were investigated through scavenging activity on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2′-azinobis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radicals. The DPPH activity for [RuCl(LL2)(H2O)] with IC50 = 0.031 mg mL?1 was higher than the values obtained for the other Ru(III) compounds. The study revealed that the synthesized Ru(III) complexes of the tetradentate Schiff base exhibited strong scavenging activities against DPPH and moderate against ABTS radicals. In addition, the antiproliferative studies of the complexes were also tested against human renal cancer cells (TK10), human melanoma cancer cells (UACC62), and human breast cancer cells (MCF7) using the SRB assay. The results indicated that the Ru(III) complexes showed low anticancer activities against the tested human cancer cell lines.  相似文献

Summary New complexes of general formulae [Ni(HL)2], [ML]·H2O and [Cu(HL)X] (H2L = pyrrole-2-aldehyde Schiff bases ofS-methyl- andS-benzyldithiocarbazates; X = Cl or Br; M = NiII, CuII, ZnII or CdII) were prepared and characterized by a variety of physicochemical techniques. The Schiff bases coordinate as NS bidentate chelating agents in [Ni(HL)2] and [Cu(HL)X], and as tridentate NNS chelates in [ML] (M = NiII, CuII, ZnII or CdII). Both the [Ni(HL)2] and [NiL] complexes are diamagnetic and square-planar. Based on magnetic and spectroscopic evidence, thiolate sulphur-bridged dimeric square-planar structures are assigned to the [Cu(HL)X] and [ML] (M = NiII or CuII) complexes. The complexes ML (M = ZnII or CdII) are polymeric and octahedral.  相似文献

Two series of organotin(IV) complexes with Sn–S bonds on the base of 2,6‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐mercaptophenol ( L 1 SH ) of formulae Me2Sn(L1S)2 ( 1 ); Et2Sn(L1S)2 ( 2 ); Bu2Sn(L1S)2 ( 3 ); Ph 2 Sn(L1S)2 ( 4 ); (L1)2Sn(L1S)2 ( 5 ); Me3Sn(L1S) ( 6 ); Ph3Sn(L1S) ( 7 ) (L1 = 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐hydroxyphenyl), together with the new ones [Me3SnCl(L2)] ( 8 ), [Me2SnCl2(L2)2] ( 9 ) ( L 2  = 2‐(N‐3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐iminomethylphenol) were used to study their antioxidant and cytotoxic activity. Novel complexes 8 , 9 of MenSnCl4 ? n (n = 3, 2) with Schiff base were synthesized and characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, IR and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of compounds 8 and 9 were determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The distorted tetrahedral geometry around the Sn center in the monocrystals of 8 was revealed, the Schiff base is coordinated to the tin(IV) atom by electrostatic interaction and formation of short contact Sn–O 2.805 Å. In the case of complex 9 the distorted octahedron coordination of Sn atom is formed. The antioxidant activity of compounds as radical scavengers and reducing agents was proved spectrophotometrically in tests with stable radical DPPH, reduction of Cu2+ (CUPRAC method) and interaction with superoxide radical‐anion. Moreover, compounds have been screened for in vitro cytotoxicity on eight human cancer cell lines. A high activity against all cell lines with IC50 values 60–160 nM was determined for the triphenyltin complex 7 , while the introduction of Schiff base decreased the cytotoxicity of the complexes. The influence on mitochondrial potential and mitochondrial permeability for the compounds 8 and 9 has been studied. It is shown that studied complexes depolarize the mitochondria but don't influence the calcium‐induced mitochondrial permeability transition.  相似文献

Reactions of the oxorhenium(V) complexes [ReOX3(PPh3)2] (X = Cl, Br) with the N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) 1,3,4‐triphenyl‐1,2,4‐triazol‐5‐ylidene (LPh) under mild conditions and in the presence of MeOH or water give [ReOX2(Y)(PPh3)(LPh)] complexes (X = Cl, Br; Y = OMe, OH). Attempted reactions of the carbene precursor 5‐methoxy‐1,3,4‐triphenyl‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐1,2,4‐triazole ( 1 ) with [ReOCl3(PPh3)2] or [NBu4][ReOCl4] in boiling xylene resulted in protonation of the intermediately formed carbene and decomposition products such as [HLPh][ReOCl4(OPPh3)], [HLPh][ReOCl4(OH2)] or [HLPh][ReO4] were isolated. The neutral [ReOX2(Y)(PPh3)(HLPh)] complexes are purple, airstable solids. The bulky NHC ligands coordinate monodentate and in cis‐position to PPh3. The relatively long Re–C bond lengths of approximate 2.1Å indicate metal‐carbon single bonds.  相似文献

The complexes [Cu2Br4]2?, [Cu2I4]2?, [Cu2I2Br2]2?, [Cu2I3Cl]2?, [Ag2Cl4]2? have been characterized as their isomorphous bis(triphenylphosphoranylidene)ammonium ([Ph3PNPPh3]+ = PNP+) salts by single crystal structural determinations. All anions show the centrosymmetric doubly halogen‐bridged forms [XM(μ‐X)2MX]2? with three‐coordinate metal atoms that have been observed in [M2X4]2? complexes with other large organic cations. In [Cu2I2Br2]2? the iodide ligands occupy the bridging positions and the bromide the terminal positions, while in [Cu2I3Cl]2?, obtained in an attempt to prepare [Cu2I2Cl2]2?, two of the iodide ligands occupy the bridging positions with the third iodide and the chloride ligand occupying two statistically disordered terminal positions. In [Ag2Cl4]2? the distortion from ideal trigonal coordination of the metal atom is greater than in the copper complexes, but less than in other previously reported [Ag2Cl4]2? complexes with organic cations. The ν(MX) bands have been assigned in the far‐IR spectra, and confirm previous observations regarding the unexpectedly simple IR spectra of [Cu2X4]2? complexes.  相似文献
