The translational diffusion of rubrene in the fragile molecular glass former, sucrose benzoate (SB) (fragility index m approximately 94), has been studied from T(g)+6 K to T(g)+71 K(T(g)=337 K) by using the technique of holographic fluorescence recovery after photobleaching. In the temperature range of the measurements, the translational relaxation functions were observed to decay exponentially, indicating that Fick's law of diffusion governs the translational motion of rubrene in sucrose benzoate. The value of the translational diffusion coefficient D(T) obtained from the 1e time of the translational relaxation function varied from 5.3 x 10(-15) cm2 s(-1) at 343 K to 5.0x10(-9) cm2 s(-1) at 408 K. The temperature dependence of D(T) for diffusion of rubrene in SB is compared with that of the viscosity and the dielectric relaxation time tau(D) of SB. The temperature dependence of D(T) is weaker than that of Teta for T<1.2T(g) but tracks the reciprocal of the dielectric relaxation time 1tau(D) for 1.05T(g)相似文献

The cyano-bridged trinuclear compound, (NEt(4))[Mn(2)(salmen)(2)(MeOH)(2)Fe(CN)(6)] (1) (salmen(2)(-) = rac-N,N'-(1-methylethylene)bis(salicylideneiminate)), reported previously by Miyasaka et al. (ref 19d) has been reinvestigated using combined ac and dc susceptibility measurements. The strong frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility and the slow relaxation of the magnetization show that 1 behaves as a single-molecule magnet with an S(T) = (9)/(2) spin ground state. Its relaxation time (tau) follows an Arrhenius law with tau(0) = 2.5 x 10(-)(7) s and Delta(eff)/k(B) = 14 K. Moreover, below 0.3 K, tau saturates around 470 s, indicating that quantum tunneling of the magnetization becomes the dominant process of relaxation. (NEt(4))[Mn(2) (5-MeOsalen)(2)Fe(CN)(6)] (2) (5-MeOsalen(2)(-) = N,N'-ethylenebis(5-methoxysalicylideneiminate)) is a heterometallic one-dimensional assembly made of the trinuclear [Mn(III)(SB)-NC-Fe(III)-CN-Mn(III)(SB)] (SB is a salen-type Schiff-base ligand) motif similar to 1. Compound 2 has two types of bridges, a cyano bridge (-NC-) and a biphenolate bridge (-(O)(2)-), connecting Mn(III) and Fe(III) ions and the two Mn(III) ions, respectively. Both bridges mediate ferromagnetic interactions, as shown by modeling the magnetic susceptibility above 10 K with g(av) = 2.03, J(Mn)(-)(Fe)/k(B) = +6.5 K, and J'/k(B) = +0.07 K, where J' is the exchange coupling between the trimer units. The dc magnetic measurements of a single crystal using micro-SQUID and Hall-probe magnetometers revealed a uniaxial anisotropy (D(T)/k(B) = -0.94 K) with an easy axis lying along the chain direction. Frequency dependence of the ac susceptibility and time dependence of the dc magnetization have been performed to study the slow relaxation of the magnetization. A mean relaxation time has been found, and its temperature dependence has been studied. Above 1.4 K, both magnetic susceptibility and relaxation time are in agreement with the dynamics described in the 1960s by R. J. Glauber for one-dimensional systems with ferromagnetically coupled Ising spins (tau(0) = 3.7 x 10(-)(10) s and Delta(1)/k(B) = 31 K). As expected, at lower temperatures below 1.4 K, the relaxation process is dominated by the finite-size chain effects (tau'(0) = 3 x 10(-)(8) s and Delta(2)/k(B) = 25 K). The detailed analysis of this single-chain magnet behavior and its two regimes is consistent with magnetic parameters independently estimated (J'and D(T)) and allows the determination of the average chain length of 60 nm (or 44 trimer units). This work illustrates nicely a new strategy to design single-chain magnets by coupling ferromagnetically single-molecule magnets in one dimension.  相似文献

Hydrogen atoms encapsulated in molecular cages are potential candidates for quantum computing applications. They provide the simplest two-spin system where the 1s electron spin, S = 1/2, is hyperfine-coupled to the proton nuclear spin, I = 1/2, with a large isotropic hyperfine coupling (A = 1420.40575 MHz for a free atom). While hydrogen atoms can be trapped in many matrices at cryogenic temperatures, it has been found that they are exceptionally stable in octasilsesquioxane cages even at room temperature [Sasamori et al., Science, 1994, 256, 1691]. Here we present a detailed spin-lattice and spin-spin relaxation study of atomic hydrogen encapsulated in Si(8)O(12)(OSiMe(2)H)(8) using X-band pulsed EPR spectroscopy. The spin-lattice relaxation times T(1) range between 1.2 s at 20 K and 41.8 μs at room temperature. The temperature dependence of the relaxation rate shows that for T < 60 K the spin-lattice relaxation is best described by a Raman process with a Debye temperature of θ(D) = 135 K, whereas for T > 100 K a thermally activated process with activation energy E(a) = 753 K (523 cm(-1)) prevails. The phase memory time T(M) = 13.9 μs remains practically constant between 200 and 300 K and is determined by nuclear spin diffusion. At lower temperatures T(M) decreases by an order of magnitude and exhibits two minima at T = 140 K and T = 60 K. The temperature dependence of T(M) between 20 and 200 K is attributed to dynamic processes that average inequivalent hyperfine couplings, e.g. rotation of the methyl groups of the cage organic substituents. The hyperfine couplings of the encapsulated proton and the cage (29)Si nuclei are obtained through numerical simulations of field-swept FID-detected EPR spectra and HYSCORE experiments, respectively. The results are discussed in terms of existing phenomenological models based on the spherical harmonic oscillator and compared to those of endohedral fullerenes.  相似文献

The dynamics of propylene glycol (PG) and its oligomers 7-PG and poly-propylene glycol (PPG), with M(w) = 4000 (approximately 70 monomers), confined in a Na-vermiculite clay have been investigated by quasielastic neutron scattering. The liquids are confined to single molecular layers between clay platelets, giving a true two-dimensional liquid. Data from three different spectrometers of different resolutions were Fourier transformed to S(Q,t) and combined to give an extended dynamical time range of 0.3-2000 ps. An attempt was made to distinguish the diffusive motion from the methyl group rotation and a fast local motion of hydrogen in the polymer backbone. The results show that the average relaxation time tau(d) of this diffusive process is, as expected, larger than the relaxation time tau averaged over all dynamical processes observed in the experimental time window. More interesting, it is evident that the severe confinement has a relatively small effect on tau(d) at T = 300 K, this holds particularly for the longest oligomer, PPG. The most significant difference is that the chain-length dependence of tau(d) is weaker for the confined liquids, although the slowing down in bulk PG due to the formation of a three-dimensional network of OH-bonded end groups reduces this difference. The estimated average relaxation time tau at Q = 0.92 Angstroms(-1) for all the observed processes is in excellent agreement with the previously reported dielectric alpha relaxation time in the studied temperature range of 260-380 K. The average relaxation time tau (as well as the dielectric alpha relaxation time) is also almost unaffected by the confinement to a single molecular layer, suggesting that the interaction with the clay surfaces is weak and that the reduced dimensionality has only a weak influence on the time scale of all the dynamical processes observed in this study.  相似文献

The low-temperature structure and dynamics of guest molecules of p-xylene incorporated in the isopropyl-calix[4] arene(2:1) p-xylene complex have been investigated by solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Using one-dimensional 1H-decoupled 13C cross-polarization magic-angle-spinning (MAS) NMR and two-dimensional 1H-13C correlation spectroscopy, a full assignment of the 13C and 1H chemical shifts has been made. Using 1H NMR relaxometry, the effects of thermal history on the structure of the system have been investigated. Rapidly cooled samples have 1H spin-lattice relaxation times T1, which at low temperature (T<60 K) are typically two orders of magnitude faster than those observed in annealed samples which have been cooled slowly over many hours. In both forms, the low-temperature relaxation is driven by the dynamics of the weakly hindered methyl rotors of the p-xylene guest. The substantial difference in T1 is attributed in the rapidly cooled sample to disorder in the structure of the complex leading to a wide distribution of correlation times and methyl barrier heights. A comparison of the linewidths and splittings in the high resolution 13C MAS spectra of the two forms provides structural insight into the nature of the disorder. Using 1H field-cycling NMR relaxometry, the methyl dynamics of the p-xylene guest in the annealed sample have been fully characterized. The B-field dependence of the 1H T1 maps out the spectral density from which the correlation times are directly measured. The methyl barrier heights are determined from an analysis of the temperature dependence.  相似文献

The molecular mobility of amorphous ibuprofen has been investigated by broadband dielectric relaxation spectroscopy (DRS) covering a temperature range of more than 200 K. Four different relaxation processes, labeled as alpha, beta, gamma, and D, were detected and characterized, and a complete relaxation map was given for the first time. The gamma-process has activation energy E a = 31 kJ.mol (-1), typical for local mobility. The weak beta-relaxation, observed in the glassy state as well as in the supercooled state was identified as the genuine Johari-Goldstein process. The temperature dependence of the relaxation time of the alpha-process (dynamic glass transition) does not obey a single VFTH law. Instead two VFTH regimes are observed separated by a crossover temperature, T B = 265 K. From the low temperature VFTH regime, a T g (diel) (tau =100 s) = 226 K was estimated, and a fragility or steepness index m = 93, was calculated showing that ibuprofen is a fragile glass former. The D-process has a Debye-like relaxation function but the temperature dependence of relaxation time also follows the VFTH behavior, with a Vogel temperature and a pre-exponential factor which seem to indicate that its dynamics is governed by the alpha-process. It has similar features as the Debye-type process observed in a variety of associating liquids, related to hydrogen bonding dynamics. The strong tendency of ibuprofen to form hydrogen bonded aggregates such as dimers and trimers either cyclic or linear which seems to control in particular the molecular mobility of ibuprofen was confirmed by IR spectroscopy, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, and MD simulations.  相似文献

This paper reports the temperature dependence of the relaxation time T1 (55.2 and 90 MHz) and the second moment of the NMR line for protons in a polycrystalline sample of [NH2(CH3)2]3Sb2Cl9 (DMACA). The fundamental aspects of molecular dynamics from quantum tunneling at low temperatures to thermally activated reorientation at elevated temperatures have been studied. The experimentally observed spin-lattice relaxation rate is a consequence of dipolar interactions between the spin pairs inside the methyl group (1/T(1AE) contribution) as well as the spins belonging to neighboring methyl groups and pairs, methyl spin-outer methyl spin (1/T(1EE) contribution). These contributions are considered separately. Two methyl groups in the dimethylammonium (DMA) cations are dynamically inequivalent. The values of the tunnel splitting of separate methyl groups are obtained from the T1 (55.2 MHz) experiment. The tunneling dynamics taking place below the characteristic temperatures 74 and 42 K for separate methyl groups are discussed in terms of the Schr?dinger equation. These temperatures point to the one at which thermal energy C(p)T and potential barrier take the same value. It is established that the second moment of the proton NMR line below 74 K up to liquid helium temperature is much lower than the rigid lattice value, which is due to a tunneling stochastic process of the methyl groups.  相似文献

The reaction of hydroxyl radicals with hydrogen chloride (reaction 1) has been studied experimentally using a pulsed-laser photolysis/pulsed-laser-induced fluorescence technique over a wide range of temperatures, 298-1015 K, and at pressures between 5.33 and 26.48 kPa. The bimolecular rate coefficient data set obtained for reaction 1 demonstrates no dependence on pressure and exhibits positive temperature dependence that can be represented with modified three-parameter Arrhenius expression within the experimental temperature range: k1 = 3.20 x 10(-15)T0.99 exp(-62 K/T) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1). The potential-energy surface has been studied using quantum chemical methods, and a transition-state theory model has been developed for the reaction 1 on the basis of calculations and experimental data. The model results in modified three-parameter Arrhenius expressions: k1 = 8.81 x 10(-16)T1.16 exp(58 K/T) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for the temperature range 200-1015 K and k1 = 6.84 x 10(-19)T2.12 exp(646 K/T) cm3 molecule(-1) s(-1) for the temperature dependence of the reaction 1 rate coefficient extrapolation to high temperatures (500-3000 K). A temperature dependence of the rate coefficient of the Cl + H2O --> HCl + OH reaction has been derived on the basis of the experimental data, modeling, and thermochemical information.  相似文献

The vibrational relaxation of hydroxyl radicals in the A (2)Sigma(+) (v=1) state has been studied using the semiclassical perturbation treatment at cryogenic temperatures. The radical is considered to be trapped in a closest packed cage composed of the 12 nearest argon atoms and undergoes local translation and hindered rotation around the cage center. The primary relaxation pathway is towards local translation, followed by energy transfer to rotation through hindered-to-free rotational transitions. Free-to-free rotational transitions are found to be unimportant. All pathways are accompanied by the propagation of energy to argon phonon modes. The deexcitation probability of OH(v=1) is 1.3 x 10(-7) and the rate constant is 4.7 x 10(5) s(-1) between 4 and 10 K. The negligible temperature dependence is attributed to the presence of intermolecular attraction (>kT) in the guest-host encounter, which counteracts the T(2) dependence resulting from local translation. Calculated relaxation time scales are much shorter than those of homonuclear molecules, suggesting the importance of the hindered and free motions of OH and strong guest-host interactions.  相似文献

The removal of selected pesticides such as carbofuran (CF) and methyl parathion (MP) using low-cost abundant sorbent chestnut shells from aqueous solutions has been investigated in the present study. The sorption parameters, i.e., contact time, pH, initial pesticide solution concentration and temperature have been studied. Maximum percent sorption (99+/-1%) was achieved for (0.38-3.80) x10(-4) and (0.45-4.5) x10(-4) mol dm(-3) of MP and CF pesticide solutions respectively, using 0.4 g of sorbent in 100 ml of solution for 30 min agitation time at pH 6. The Freundlich, Langmuir and Dubinin-Radushkevich (D-R) models have been applied, and their constants for methyl parathion and carbofuran, sorption intensity 1/n (0.55+/-0.02 and 0.54+/-0.04), multilayer sorption capacity C(m) (28.3+/-0.5 and 16.4+/-0.7) x10(-3) mol l(1-1/n)dm(3/n)g(-1), monolayer sorption capacity Q (22.5+/-0.5 and 10.8+/-0.3) x10(-6) mo lg(-1), binding energy, b (2.9+/-0.2 and 5.2+/-0.5) x10(4) dm(3)mol(-1), and sorption energy E (11.2+/-0.1 and 11.5+/-0.2 kJ mol(-1)) have been evaluated respectively. Lagergren, Morris-Weber and Reichenberg equations were employed to study kinetics of sorption process. Thermodynamic parameters DeltaH (-5.09+/-0.1 and 22.8+/-0.4 kJ mol(-1)), DeltaS (-4.33+/-0.0003 and 0.09+/-0.001 kJ mol(-1)K(-1)) and DeltaG((303K)) (-2.9 and -3.8 kJ mol(-1)) have been calculated for methyl parathion and carbofuran, respectively. The developed sorption procedure has been employed to environmental samples.  相似文献

The high-frequency dynamics of (HF)(x)(H(2)O)(1-x) solutions has been investigated by inelastic x-ray scattering. The measurements have been performed as a function of the concentration in the range x = 0.20-0.73 at fixed temperature T = 283 K. The results have been compared with similar data in pure water (x = 0) and pure hydrogen fluoride (x = 1). A viscoelastic analysis of the data highlights the presence of a relaxation process characterized by a relaxation time and a strength directly related to the presence of a hydrogen-bond network in the system. The comparison with the data on water and hydrogen fluoride shows that the structural relaxation time continuously decreases at increasing concentration of hydrogen fluoride passing from the value for water to the one for hydrogen fluoride tau(alphaHF), which is three times smaller. This is the consequence of a gradual decreasing number of constraints of the hydrogen-bond networks in passing from one liquid to the other.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of CH2Br and CH2I radicals with O2 have been studied in direct measurements using a tubular flow reactor coupled to a photoionization mass spectrometer. The radicals have been homogeneously generated by pulsed laser photolysis of appropriate precursors at 193 or 248 nm. Decays of radical concentrations have been monitored in time-resolved measurements to obtain the reaction rate coefficients under pseudo-first-order conditions with the amount of O2 being in large excess over radical concentrations. No buffer gas density dependence was observed for the CH2I + O2 reaction in the range 0.2-15 x 10(17) cm(-3) of He at 298 K. In this same density range the CH2Br + O2 reaction was obtained to be in the third-body and fall-off area. Measured bimolecular rate coefficient of the CH2I + O2 reaction is found to depend on temperature as k(CH2I + O2)=(1.39 +/- 0.01)x 10(-12)(T/300 K)(-1.55 +/- 0.06) cm3 s(-1)(220-450 K). Obtained primary products of this reaction are I atom and IO radical and the yield of I-atom is significant. The rate coefficient and temperature dependence of the CH2Br + O2 reaction in the third-body region is k(CH2Br + O2+ He)=(1.2 +/- 0.2)x 10(-30)(T/300 K)(-4.8 +/- 0.3) cm6 s(-1)(241-363 K), which was obtained by fitting the complete data set simultaneously to a Troe expression with the F(cent) value of 0.4. Estimated overall uncertainties in the measured reaction rate coefficients are about +/-25%.  相似文献

The shear viscosity eta(s), mutual diffusion coefficient D, and ultrasonic attenuation spectra of the nitroethane-cyclohexane mixture of critical composition have been measured at various temperatures near the critical temperature T(c). The relaxation rate of order parameter fluctuations resulting from a combined evaluation of the eta(s) and D data follows power law behavior with the theoretical exponent and with the large amplitude Gamma(o)=(156+/-2)x10(9) s(-1). The ultrasonic spectra have been evaluated in terms of a critical contribution and a noncritical background contribution. The amplitude of the former exhibits a temperature dependence, in conformity with a temperature dependence in the adiabatic coupling constant (|g| = 0.064 near T(c) and 0.1 at T-T(c)=3 K). If the variation of the critical amplitude with T is taken into account the experimental attenuation coefficient data display a scaling function which nicely fits to the theoretical prediction from the Bhattacharjee-Ferrell dynamic scaling model [R. A. Ferrell and J. K. Bhattacharjee, Phys. Rev. A 31, 1788 (1985)].  相似文献

The (35)Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance (NQR) frequencies (nu(Q)) in caesium and sodium chlorates were measured as a function of temperature, from 77 to 300 K at different pressures up to 5.1 kbar, and the data were analysed to estimate the volume dependence of the electric field gradient (EFG), torsional frequency and also the contributions to the NQR frequency from static and dynamic effects. The variation of spin-lattice relaxation time with pressure at different temperatures was studied in the case of sodium chlorate and at room temperature in case of caesium chlorate. The pressure dependence of the spin-lattice relaxation time (T(1)) suggests that the relaxation is mainly due to the torsional motions.  相似文献

The thermal decomposition of acetaldehyde, CH3CHO + M --> CH3 + HCO + M (eq 1), and the reaction CH3CHO + H --> products (eq 6) have been studied behind reflected shock waves with argon as the bath gas and using H-atom resonance absorption spectrometry as the detection technique. To suppress consecutive bimolecular reactions, the initial concentrations were kept low (approximately 10(13) cm(-3)). Reaction was investigated at temperatures ranging from 1250 to 1650 K at pressures between 1 and 5 bar. The rate coefficients were determined from the initial slope of the hydrogen profile via k1 = [CH3CHO]0(-1) x d[H]/dt, and the temperature dependences observed can be expressed by the following Arrhenius equations: k1(T, 1.4 bar) = 2.9 x 10(14) exp(-38 120 K/T) s(-1), k1(T, 2.9 bar) = 2.8 x 10(14) exp(-37 170 K/T) s(-1), and k1(T, 4.5 bar) = 1.1 x 10(14) exp(-35 150 K/T) s(-1). Reaction was studied with C2H5I as the H-atom precursor under pseudo-first-order conditions with respect to CH3CHO in the temperature range 1040-1240 K at a pressure of 1.4 bar. For the temperature dependence of the rate coefficient the following Arrhenius equation was obtained: k6(T) = 2.6 x 10(-10) exp(-3470 K/T) cm(3) s(-1). Combining our results with low-temperature data published by other authors, we recommend the following expression for the temperature range 300-2000 K: k6(T) = 6.6 x 10(-18) (T/K) (2.15) exp(-800 K/T) cm(3) s(-1). The uncertainties of the rate coefficients k1 and k6 were estimated to be +/-30%.  相似文献

The reactions of ground-state imidogen radicals (NH(X 3sigma-)) with NO and select saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons have been measured in a pulsed supersonic expansion Laval nozzle flow reactor in the temperature range 53-188 K. The rate coefficients for the NH + NO system display negative temperature dependence in the temperature regime currently investigated and a global temperature-dependent fit is best represented in a modified power law functional form, with k1(NH + NO) = (4.11 +/- 0.31) x 10(-11) x (T/300)(-0.30+/-0.17) x exp(77+/-21/T) cm3/s. The reactions of NH with ethylene, acetylene, propene, and diacetylene were measured over the temperature range 53-135 K. In addition, the reactions of NH with methane and ethane were also measured at 53 K, for reasons discussed later. The temperature dependence of the reactions of NH with the unsaturated hydrocarbons are fit using power law expressions, k(T) = A(T/300)(-n), and are as follows: k4 = (2.3 +/- 1.2) x 10(-12) x (T/300)(-1.09+/-0.33) cm3/s, k5 = (4.5 +/- 0.3) x 10(-12) x (T/300)(-1.07+/-0.04) cm3/s, k6 = (5.6 +/- 1.9) x 10(-12) x (T/300)(-1.23+/-0.21) cm3/s, and k7 = (7.4 +/- 1.8) x 10(-12) x (T/300)(-1.23+/-0.15) cm3/s for ethylene, acetylene, propene, and diacetylene, respectively. The rate for NH + ethane at 53 K is measured to be k3 = (6.8 +/- 1.7) x 10(-12) cm3/s, while that for methane at the same temperature represents an upper bound of k2 < or = (1.1 +/- 4.3) x 10(-12) cm3/s, as this is at the limits of measurement with our current technique. The behavior of these systems throughout the temperature range explored indicates that these reactions occur over a potential energy surface without an appreciable barrier through a complex formation mechanism. Implications for chemistry in low temperature environments where these species are found are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Continuous-wave linewidths and spin susceptibilities, spin-spin relaxation rates (1/T2), and spin-lattice relaxation rates (1/T1) for two sources of x-LiPc were measured at 9.5 GHz between 15 and 298 K. Relaxation rates at 34 GHz were measured between 80 and 298 K. Room-temperature relaxation rates also were measured at 250 MHz, 1.9 GHz, and 2.76 GHz. The temperature dependences of linewidths and spin susceptibilities are characteristic of 1-D organic conductors. The ratio of populations of localized and delocalized electrons varies with sample preparation. For a single needle between 15 and about 200 K, 1/T2 is higher for the parallel orientation, but 1/T1 is higher for the perpendicular orientation, consistent with predictions based on dipolar interactions. Between about 60 and 150 K, which is the temperature regime in which spin susceptibility is changing rapidly with temperature, 1/T1 exhibits a non-monotonic dependence on temperature and is lower at 34 GHz than at 9.5 GHz. In other organic conductors, this dependence has been attributed to a bottleneck mechanism of relaxation. At higher temperatures, 1/T1 becomes less orientation-dependent. At room temperature, T1 increases rapidly between 250 MHz (3.0 micros) and 2.76 GHz (6.3 micros) and then shows less frequency dependence up to 34 GHz (9.8 micros). The relaxation rate near room temperature might have a substantial contribution from spin hopping perpendicular to the stacking axis of the molecules.  相似文献

In isotactic poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), we investigate the dynamics of the ester methyl groups by means of deuteron magnetic resonance (DMR) in a deuterated sample. We find that the motion of the CD(3)-group affects the deuteron spin-lattice relaxation as well as the DMR line shape in a characteristic way. Quadrupolar order spin lattice relaxation measurements between T=291 K and T=70 K reveal a broad temperature dependent probability distribution of autocorrelation times tau(c) for the 2pi/3 reorientation. This broad distribution corresponds to a temperature independent Gaussian distribution of activation energies rho(E(a)) with variance sigma(E(a) )=13.8+/-0.5 meV (1.33 kJ/mol). The line shape transition between T=70 K and T=23 K is explained with the freezing in of the methyl group reorientation. By comparing our results in an 88% isotactic sample with results obtained from a 50% syndiotactic, 30% atactic, and 20% isotactic sample of a previous investigation, we demonstrate the higher local order of the 88% isotactic sample, which corresponds to a ratio of 1.6 in the relative width sigma(E(a) )/E(a) of the E(a) distribution. We show that different stereospecific forms of PMMA can be easily distinguished by the characteristics of their line shape transition between T=70 K and T=23 K.  相似文献

The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) properties of the electron-doped manganite La(1-x)Te(x)MnO(3) (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) are investigated based on the data of EPR spectra, resistivity, and magnetic susceptibility. With decreasing temperature from 400 K, the EPR linewidth ΔH(PP) decreases and passes through a minimum at T(min), then substantially increases with further decreasing temperature. The broadening of the EPR linewidth above T(min) can be understood in terms of the increase in the relaxation rate of spin of e(g) polarons to the lattice with increasing temperature due to the similarity between the temperature dependence of the linewidth ΔH(pp)(T) and the conductivity σ(T). For the samples with x = 0.1 and 0.15, the conductivity activation energy E(σ) is comparable with the activation energy E(a) deduced from the linewidth. Whereas for the x = 0.2 sample, there is a large difference between E(σ) (0.2206 eV) and E(a) (0.0874 eV).  相似文献
